Antigone still clung to Ethan for dear life and narrowed her eyes at the woman, hoping for her sake all the little pests were gone from her work areas. Not that it was her fault or anything but Antigone was deathly afraid of Doxies and just didn't want to admit it. THe can she had in her possession was not to do her parents home.. it was in case she was ever attacked at random.

Shaking those thoughts from her head she said, "Alright, thank you so much... here, I have a tip for you all for doing it so quickly." She dug in her money pouch she kept around her kneck and grabbed out 8 Galleons. 4 for each of them. She was too afraid to get near the Doxies so she levitated it over instead.

"One hundred percent. All the doxies are locked safetly in the cages," He motioned to the cages full of the pesky creatures. "You don't have to hide anymore." There was a hint of laughter in his voice as turned from the woman to her protector with a look of amusement. "Thank you, for the complement and extra help."

Turning to his coworker, he smiled at her gratefully as he took the potion. Good thing one of them had come prepared."Thank you." He really needed to learn her name, but for now it would have to wait til they were done with the task at hand.

He looked back to the hidding woman as she floated over the coins. As much as he could use the money he would not accept the coins for simply doing his job. Picking his out of the air he placed them on the table."Payment is not necessary, I was just doing my job. But I do appreciate the gesture miss."

He turned back to his coworker,"Since you brought the cages down I shall take them back up." Then he turned back to the workers. "Will that be all?"

Chloe was pretty much oblivious to the conversation going on. And she didn't want to speak anymore. Doxy bite on the tongue didn't sound too painful. She continued paralyzing the doxies with her wand and slamming the filing cabinets shut. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Antigone appear with a man and promptly begin freaking out. Briony didn't seem to be too cool in the situation either. "MERLIN!!!" she exclaimed when a doxy snuck up behind her and bit her exposed earlobe. Instead of panicking and running around, she just kept stunning them until help arrived in the form of two from Magical Creatures. She took a few steps back from area and allowed them to work. When the two were finished she said, "I was bitten."

After taking the antidote, she just looked at the others, her body language asking, "Well, what now?"

Misty made one last double check of the place. She didn't see anything amiss and if any more doxies decided to show up, she was sure she would hear about it.

She saw the woman levitate money towards her, and she immediately shook her head. She didn't do this to receive money, and she also placed the galleons on the table, "I can't accept that, either. I think you should put it to use..by maybe buying some extra can as doxicide." she said. It is always better to be too careful then not careful enough.

Misty turned back to her coworker when he thanked her, and she smiled, 'You're welcome.." Maybe this wasn't the best time for introductions and they could wait until later. And he was carrying the cages! Thank Merlin! "Alright thanks." She then went to collect all the used cans of doxicide, they were recyclables..right?

"If there is nothing else, I think we should get back to our department, to dispose of these doxies." And by dispose, she meant set them FREE!

Ah, that was Briony, was not she? Interesting. He did not know she was working here.

And those were Doxies, were not they? Interesting. Even in his room there were no doxies.

''That's interesting'' So, from this, filing cabinets full of doxies, he could surely imply many outcomes but he did not really had his time for that as the little pests attacked. Hah. He dodged some of those little things and was about to run and get someone when he saw Briony doing that instead of him. Sooo, he was helping the others for defense, but of course at first place, he made use of the little chaos and pocketed a little Doxy right after freezing it nonverbally. Fresh Doxy venom would come in handy.

As the course of events went on and help arrived in their offices, Ryan kept observing people, their actions, reactions and eveything as he avoided the pests and it was no wonder that he caught the strange relationship between the boss and that guy which made him smile widely. ''Interesting'' . Perhaps he could make use of that however it had its time.

Then once the Doxies were all caught he ran to the Creatures employee before she could walk away and whispered in her ear ''May i have a little cage dear lady''

Nikos was still waiting for a reply when one of the workers ran up to his coworker and wispered something inaudible to her. His brow furrowed as he looked at the man's pocket, it seemed to be moving."Excuse me, there seems to be something moving in your pocket. Might I ask what it is?" The thought crossed his mind that it was some sort of creature but it soon passed. There was no way someone would be so cruel as to place any creature in there pockets.

" Shall we get back to work?" J.J. Starr asked Briony.

Misty raised a brow when a man ran over to her and asked for a cage. That was odd. What would a man working in the Education Department need a cage for? Unless it was for his own personal use, and if that was the case he could buy one of his own. But, she did have a few extra cages with her, and she was sure it wouldn't hurt to give him one. She nodded as his request, and grimaced at his 'dear lady' comment.

She walked over to the cages and was just about to hand one over when her coworker spoke up..

Huh?

Something in his pocket?

Glancing down at the man's pocket, Misty could only frown. Sure enough it seemed something was trying to escape the confinements of the pocket. She really hoped that man was NOT stupid enough to try and take a doxy. "Sir, that better be a pygmy puff in there and that better be the reason you need this.." she held up the cage in her hand.

He would not be getting a cage until she was sure that was not a doxy.

Briony sighed in relief as the two said the doxies were all taken care of. Phew. That meant no one got hurt (besides Nikos and Chloe) and her boss wasn't going to have a break down after all. "Thank you both so much," she expressed her gratitude. She looked over at Antigone and Ethan. Hehe. Seems like someone was on maybe more than friendly terms with her boss.

She just watched the scene unfold until J.J. Starr asked if they should get back to work. "Yes, of course," she said to him in reply.

Ottera had still been sewing as the creepy little bugs attacked. She got bitten twice by hitting them, but really didn't care. She finished her decorative napkins () for her desk. They had the same shade of light blue as the curtains did, with a stripe of navy. She put it under her teacup, so she could sip it in STYLE. She ate a raspberry. She was done with today's work.

"So after we get the files, what is next?" J.J. Starr asked Briony. Joe jon montcenaggio got about 10 files for now.

Antigone frowned when the Creatures employees refused payment.. oh well. Still clinging to her knight in shining armor she said, "Yes, well Doxycide seems to be a neccessity here, doesn't it." She had a death grip on Ethan but then realized... yeah they were in a room full of her employees and ummm yeah... *whistle*

Unlatching herself from Ethan she smoothed out the front of her robes and tried to compose herself. "Alright then, back to work you lot... and thank you for taking care of the little problem. And Ryan make yourself at home over there at your desk... I am going to be in my office hyperventilating for a bit of anyone needs me," she told them all in seriousness. She pointed out Ryan's desk and eyed Ethan for a moment.. letting him know she may need some assistance and turned on her heel to get out of the room before those nasty little things attacked again or something. EEP!

"I suppose you and Chloe could continue to clean the filing cabinets out since the doxies are gone. Some of them are old. Others just need thrown out from oldness," she said to him. Briony turned and listened to Antigone. She smiled to herself. Her boss hyperventilating. Hehe. Funny thought.

Back to work though.

She turned and headed to her desk which was beside Ryan's. She would really like to talk to him and find out how he got the position of Division Head. She hadn't seen the man since...well last May. Early June?

Smirking inwardly Ryan raised his eyebrows at the man who approached him wearing a surprised expression. ''Hmm...excuse me, something, pocket?''. And he turned back to the other Magical Creatures employee, to the woman, once she spoke to him. ''Pygmy Puff? I cannot say i favour them but anyway i don't think that cage of yours would fit a cat'' *sniff sniff* Did something smell like mildew and fungus? Whatever.

He looked up, then, immediately when The Boss Lady Antigone spoke up. His eyes went from her to the other guy. ''That's great. Thank you for escorting me here''. The blond watched them for a couple of moments in silence till he remembered the creatures workers turning back to them ''Ah, i'm sorry but duty calls for me. Thank you for helping the department. We do appreciate it a lot. So, see you at the next infest'' he simply waved at them and walked to his desk.

Now it was time for those people to know who he was. Well, there were already people in there who knew who he was but they probably did not know what he was doing there. Ha, no, stop! They knew since Antigone announced the desk. Therefore he clapped his hands for attention before speaking loudly ''Hello everyone.! I thought you might like to know that i am Ryan Chambers who will be leading the Inspections Commitee from now and then. I am sure that we will be having a good time working together so i have no kinds of wishes for anyone'' then he kindly smiled at everyone in there and comfortably sat on his chair. This desk needed a suitable arrangement.

Like she couldn't figure that out, Briony thought to herself as Ryan announced himself. He was better than that other mean woman. She wondered what happened to her anyway. Oh well. She took a seat in her desk chair and looked over at Ryan. Like their desks weren't close enough.

"So Mr. Division Head, how did you get the job?" she asked, glancing down at the Daily Prophet on her desk.

Nikos did not appriciate being lied to nor ignored, it was quite obvious as the man walked away that he had a doxy in his pocket. Frowning he flicked his wrist so that his wand landed smothly in his hand while his other held doxy spray aimed at the man. Giving his wand a swish he levitated the wiggling doxy out of the man's pocket and sprayed him before placing him with the others.

Glad that he was no longer needed in he turned to his coworker while levitating the cages."After you..." He said motioning towards the door. They could introduce themselves once they got back on thier floor. He followed as she lead the way.

Well, that went smoothly.

Not.

Misty ignored what the man was saying, and kept her focus on his pocket. What was he planning on doing with a doxy anyway? That's why she works with magical creatures and not people, they are easier to understand!

Frowning, Misty watched as the man walked away without turning out his pockets. Doxies can suffocate! but he probably didn't know that nor would he care. Then her coworker showed signs of being a genius! She smirked as he drew his wand and levitated the doxy out of the man's pocket. Serves him right. Doxies should be FREED and not living in a pocket. Was he going to keep it in there all day!?

"Thank you." she nodded at her coworker and headed out the door.

Now back to the kneazle infested office..pfffft.

Once the action had died down, Chloe went back to sorting the files with the same older man. He seemed kind of... rude. She didn't say a word, but kept sorting the files between things that might need to be kept and things that definitely could be destroyed. Chloe just the man a few glances out of the side of her eye. He seemed old and grumpy and mean, like he thought he was better than anyone else. That kind of attitude would not fly with Chloe, not at all. Once she had emptied out two of the three filing cabinets, she looked at her pile of things that could probably be destroyed. Pointing her wand at them she levitated them over to Briony's desk and waited for Briony to finish her conversation with the new had of the Inspections Committee.

Ryan's gaze of light blue eyes moved on Briony and got fixed there followed by his usual smile. And after taking in her features for a moment he spoke with a soft tone. ''Well...Mrs Division Head. You know i am so attractive and as a reason every lady boss wants me in her offices''

Laughing at his own joke, he eyed the creatures officers as they left the office then looked back at Briony when some employee placed a pile of stuff on her desk.

"Ha ha, you crack me up," she said in a tone of sarcasm. Briony rolled her eyes and turned to Chloe. "What have you got for me dear?" she asked, looking at the big pile. Yikes! She was going to have a lot more work to do.

She turned back to Ryan. "That's Ms. Division Head to you. We take our work very seriously around here," she grinned. This was going to be quite some fun wasn't it. Too bad her niece was at Hogwarts. Brioyn missed the girl very much. She was fifteen! How time flied.

Ethan's dark eyes looked from Antigone's tight grip to her beautiful eyes. The smirk on his face was enough to say that he was enjoying keeping watch over her and the fact that she needed him was enough to satisfy him for at least a few hours. He looked back towards the Magical Creatures employee and raised a brow. No need in taking away his best asset.

And when she walked away and out of the office, Ethan followed shortly behind her. He wanted to...ya know...make sure she was going to be okay by herself and not scared anymore.

Chloe smiled at the man. What was his name? Ryan. Uh huh. She gave her hair a flip and looked back at Briony. "These are all files that I'm pretty sure can be destroyed, but I wanted to run it past you first, just in case there was something important in them that I missed," she said to the woman. It seemed like after the doxy incident, everyone was a bit traumatized. Even Antigone had disappeared. Chloe had encountered things that were a lot scarier than some silly doxies.

''I hope you are not saying that i am not attractive by remarking that'' Ryan said and watched the two women as they exchanged business stuff. In the meantime of course there was no way he could miss the other woman's smile. Therefore he smiled back at her. It was nice to have friendly people here.

And, ah! She wanted to be called Ms instead of Mrs one. Well that was quite understandable and he was not going to comment on 'to you' part by saying 'oh is there someone who is allowed to say that?' holding himself not to do so. ''Don't worry about the way i take it'' he went on with a wink. ''I leave nothing behind''

"Chloe, I will help you, you are doing way too much" J.J. Starr told her. I will tell you what, I will put the other files on my desk and then you can split thee ones you took out and give them to me" Joe Jon montcenaaggio said to Chloe. " i will finishing cleaning out these file drawers with some muggle cleaners and rags for right now" J.J. explained to Chloe. J.J. Starr went right to work on the filecabinets without waiting for an answer.

Briony nodded at Chloe. "Okay then. Thank you very much. I shall take a look at them." Ugh. That was like how much work she was going to have to add to her ever growing list of work? Oh well. It may be interesting taking a peek at these files.

"I may be saying that," she remarked to Ryan's question, opening one of the files. Briony went through the papers. So this Hogwarts Professor taught 20 years ago and was fired because of setting the Great Hall on fire accidentally. Wow. Yeah that's worth getting rid of.

"Oh but I do worry. We decide the next generation of witches and wizards future in someway. If you don't take your work seriously, who knows what could happen," Briony smiled looking back up at him. She turned to see J.J. Starr cleaning the cabinets with muggle cleaners and rags. Great! Who knew how much grime had built up on them.
