Lyra's eyes looked towards Erik and she smiled. "Actually, I was wanting to go to Diagon Alley. I have a friend that I do believe is working there and I must see her." She HAD to see Vannie. There was no other way. "I could use some coffee and something sweet to eat."

''Good day to you too'' Ryan replied Oliver as he approached the sweet woman and the man she was talking to and he went on talking as he walked towards there ''I hope to see you later too''. Now since Examination Authority dudes were increasing every day, it looked like they needed that new division head asap. Surely enough that new one would have some big shoes to fill in.

Then he looked at Lyra and Erik as they answered his question, also Chloe were there to ask them some useful questions. Well, being so sweet that woman seemed to have great confidence in herself. And that man, he did not have much idea but being in Law Enforcement he seemed someone who knows what he was up to like now...attempting to flirt the sweet lady and though his way was kind of weak, he was going to get what he wanted. ''Law'' where people hated to cooperate hehehe ''That's nice.''

With a half smile Ryan turned back to Lyra ''Dumped into?'' he repeated ''That's interesting . I hope you are happy that you have been dumped into this department, in other words welcome to magical education department. May i, please, ask what division are you going to work for, hmm?''

And when Chloe spoke to him looking as if she was worried, was she seriously worried for him? She looked like she was and that was a good sign which meant that she was not much angry at him right now. Good good. Yet that headache was shading his contentment for that. ''Thank you again. Ch- Ms Everhart. I will do as you say so'' then she really had a heart after all.

Once he was back to his desk he looked up when someone else spoke to him; Seraphina Nyx. When she said she was going for lunch, at first place Ryan thought that she was asking for permission and he was about to remark that it was not necessary when she said that he could join her. ''Actually, that is a fine idea Ms Nyx.'' he replied ''I appreciate it.'' and with that he walked out the office after the woman.

Oh! What poor choice of words. Lyra's dear uncle would just scold her for speaking such language around handsome men. She gently pressed her fingers to her chest and grinned at the gentleman that was speaking to her. "I...I do apologize," she spoke as if she were embarrassed for her words. "I do not mean...dumped, that's a very poor choice of words. Better yet, I was placed into the division of the Ministry that...I believe was the correct place for me to be." Her other hand freely took it's spot along the arm of...what was his name? "And you are Mister...." She raised her eyebrows waiting on the gentleman to speak his name as she was really not interested in the other female names. To her, they were competition.

''...Ryan Chambers, Division Head for the Inspection Committee'' the man completed her words quickly as if he would lose the chance to reply apparently caught by the charm of the alluring woman for moment or so. Then he quickly managed to snap out of it trying to ignore her body language Ryan observed the woman a little. She was, surely enough, beautiful and she was quite aware of it. In addition to that if she was smart, it would mean that she was a dangerous one. Just like Persephone was.

''And actually i was not being sarcastic. I meant i really find your choice of words interesting for that usually give out how one's brain works. Not to mention the use of them in Psychoanalysing, anyway. I meant which divison are you in now Examinations Authority or mine hmm?''

Oh he was very observant and actually paid attention to what she was saying instead of how she looked, though either one was not bad as she knew she was beautiful. "Nice to meet you Mr. Chambers," Lyra grinned, offering her hand for a gentle shake as she was not one for firm handshakes at all. Dainty was the only way to go.

"Ummm," she looked down and then back up to Mr. Chambers to show her good side and favorite look, the innocent look that sometimes caught men off guard. "Yours." He was her boss. She had to get on his good side knowing there were going to be quite a few things she might screw up in the end.

Seraphina walked into the office, wiping the blue paint off of her hand. She had just met the new director, and he was a wonderful character! She set her bag on her desk and lowered herself into her office chair, brushing her long blonde hair out off her face. She paused momentarily to glance out of the enchanted window. Apparently, someone in the weather control center was having a bad day, angry purple clouds swirled overhead and rain began to fall almost immediately. well,Seraphina thought, i wish i knew what i was supposed to be doing She decided to ask Mr. Chambers whe he came back in.

Now that Oliver had met the new division head Mr. Chambers he now realized how much work he had to do. He started to put things away in his office, and try to decide what work needed to be done first.

''It's nice to meet you too yet i did not catch your name, did i?'' and Ryan did not know why he had not asked her name at first place. Maybe her looks messed with his mind more than the man could sense but on the other hand Ryan Chambers' strongest sides concerned that mind and brain since the times he was a little Ravenclaw. He fixed his eyes into hers and nodded slightly when she said it was Ryan's division that she belonged. ''That's nice. Do you have any question concerning the job we are doing here, dear lady?''

Once he was done with the stuff he had to out the offices Ryan walked back into the work area making his way towards his desk which he was still working on its decoration. Actually what Ryan called decoration was his order of a messy place so this was going to be an order of a messy desk. As he passed by he gave Seraphina the new employee a little nod as a greeting and sat on his chair.

And Oliver was back in offices too. Ryan greeted him with a nod, as well when he caught his look before turning back to his desk. Now once he was finished with that desk, he was going to introduce them their new mission.

Ronan continued on with his work noticing every so often the various new employees that were coming in, but preferring to keep to himself.

After he finished up his task of looking over the files of previous teachers, Ronan went over to his desk and took the paints that he had been given by Mister Buena, the new Department Head, and began to decide what he would do to make his desk all nice looking and such.

Taking up the brush, he began his work of painting his desk a starry night.

Chloe sat in her chair, looking around the office, wondering where everyone had gone. There seemed to be a lot people disappearing down by the head's door, though. That must mean that the new head had arrived. She started to rise, wanting to go introducer herself, but then she saw Ronan with paints in his hand, and then her eyes widened even further as he actually started painting his desk. Standing up quickly she rushed over to him. "Mr. Cavanaugh! What are you doing?!" she asked once she arrived at his desk.

'Mr Cavanaugh! What are you doing?!'

Ronan looked up at the call of his name to see Chloe looking down at his project alarmedly.

"Hello there Ms Everhart." the young man said cheerfully as he continued to dab at his desk with the paintbrush. "I'm painting my desk as the new Department Head insisted we do so." he explained looking up at the young woman with a twinkle in his eye.

Putting down the paintbrush, Ronan unholstered his wand and pointed down at his decorated desk. With a small flourish, the stars on his desk seemed to light up as if they were real and he smiled fondly as a shooting star went by.

Looking back up at Chloe, he added, "I'm sure Mr Buena wouldn't mind if you went to go get paint yourself. In fact, I believe he'd like all of us to do it."

Chloe looked down at Ronan's desk looking very, VERY confused. The new Department Head had INSISTED he do this. Was this some sort of... test or something? Was he trying to see who was willing to... to deface ministry property if he asked them to, or something? "We're supposed to... paint... our...desks?" Chloe asked slowly, as if her brain was trying to process this possibility. And then Ronan said something about Chloe painting HER desk. Here, she couldn't help but laugh a bit. "Oh, I don't think anyone wants me painting anything unless I do it with magic. I can see what I want things to look like, but it never comes out how I want it to," she explained, still laughing at what her desk would end up looking like if she actually took a paint brush to it.

Ronan looked down at his desk and then up at Chloe nodded. "Yep, I think it's a way to make our work place more personal." he explained with a bright grin.

"I'll help you with yours if you'd like." the young man said, excited about this entire project. He liked to work with his hands and be creative with boring surfaces.

"That is, if you'd even like to paint your desk."

Chloe nodded slightly. Her desk already felt fairly personal with the pictures, but if they were... SUPPOSED to paint their desks, then she most certainly would because she didn't want to not do something that they were being instructed to do. And then she smiled at Ronan as he said he'd help, and she looked down at his desk again. He seemed rather capable of using a paintbrush. Looking back up at him, she said, "That would be lovely, Mr. Cavanaugh. Thank you."

Ronan smiled back.

"It's not trouble at all Ms Everhart. I think that you should pay a visit to the new Department Head then. He's got all the materials we'll need." the young man suggested.

"And I'm sure he'll be wanting to meet you."

Chloe nodded her head in agreement. "Yes, I want to go meet him, but I was sort of waiting for his office to clear out a bit. Seems as though half the department has disappeared into his office," she said, laughing slightly as she looked around at all the empty desks. Though perhaps she would just go ahead and go. Chloe had a way of standing out in crowds if she wanted to. Turning back to Ronan, she smiled again. "I'll let you know when I'm ready to paint, Mr. Cavanaugh." And then she turned on her heel and walked off toward the Department Head's office, her heels clicking against the floor.

Ronan nodded to Chloe, acknowledging that he understood that she would ask for his help when she had come back from his office.

He started to set his pictures back down on his desk; the one of him and Lancelot, the one of his wife Pandora acting silly.

'Oh she'd hate to know that this is the picture that I have of her.' Ronan thought to himself as he sat himself down and tidied around his work area.

Seraphina walked over to Mr. Chamber's desk and cleared her throat gently, "Excuse me sir, i know im not in your division, but i feel so unproductive. Do you know of anything i can do to assist my department?" she asked, smiling up through thick eyelashes.

As Oliver continued to organize his office he give Mr. Chambers a polite nod. He was hoping was going to give them an assignment to do quite soon.

"No," Lyra said as she twirled a piece of blonde hair around her finger. "You did not ask until just now. Lyra Noir." He didn't ask for her name. Maybe it was a blonde moment, maybe she was just playing hard to get? But then Mr. Chambers asked the question of all questions. A confused look crossed her face and she began nibbling on her lower lip for a moment until...

"Do we...really work here?" Honestly, the work days she was used too were the days of being pampered behind the scenes of a photoshoot. This was not a modeling job. GAH!

Ryan looked up and put the pencil he had been chewing on back on his desk when he heard Seraphina's voice. And she was asking for something to work on. A hardworking employee. Sweet. Too bad she was not his officer. Nevertheless since he did not have an other Division Head co-worker he was aware that he had taken the responsibility of the empoyees of both divisions.''There's no need to feel like that dear lady.'' he replied ''I'll, of course, indroduce you the next job we are going to work on. Just wait a minute.''

He turned bback to his desk wrote some stuff on a parchment then when his eyes caught Lyra when she started to speak he could not help laughing a little. ''No, Ms Noir'' he replied the woman's question. ''We usually perform barbeque parties here and actually as a division head my responsibility is cooking'' hehehehehe ''Anyway yes we really work here now...''


He stood up and faced everyone ''Now, people. Here's our new assignment: All of us, employees of both division without any exception are going to paint and decorate our desks with our favourite colours. You can take the necessary supplies from Mr Buena our department head. Any questions?''
Heheh Ryan just loved that idea since he was going to psychoanalyse everyone by the colours they chose to decorate their desks.

Seraphina felt her mouth drop open. She was vaguely aware that she resembled a goldfish but it took her a second to regain her composure. This was definitely the strangest job she had ever had, but Seraphina had always been the kind of person to roll with the punches. She took out a quill and piece of parchment and began to plan out her design for her desk.

Lyra became excited one moment and then...he was only playing. They really had to work? BLAH! What was the use in working? Nothing good ever came from it anyway until....

Her eyes grew wide with excitement again. They were going to decorate their desk areas? For real? Really? OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! She began clapping her hands together as this kind of work was okay in her book. She could really use this time to exercise the meaning of having a work area that really stated who you were. "I love this idea, Mr. Chambers. Excellent choice."

Smiling contently as he saw the employees intently working on painting and decorating their desks, Ryan sat back at his desk then looked at Lyra when she spoke. Oh, she seemed to be all delighted about that idea of decorating desks. Good so he could analyse that beautiful woman.

''You can call me Ry- I mean i'm glad that you liked it Ms Noir but in actual it is Mr Buena's idea. I'm sure he is currently busy with painting and decorating the walls of his office''

And smiling at the both women (Lyra and Seraphina) Ryan took out a parcment and grabbed a quill. It was planning time!

Lyra began making her way towards her desk when Mr. Chambers began speaking once more but this time...His name was Ry? Odd. Okay. She would go with it if that's what he wanted her to call him. She scrunched one shoulder up and giggled lightly towards him then turned to head back to her desk. The first thing she needed...the right shade of PINK. Oh Professor Bunbury would be so proud if she were to ever walk into the Ministry and catch a glimpse of Lyra's desk.

With a wave of her wand, Lyra instantly removed everything from site and plastered LIGHT PINK coloring on the walls, then followed it with a DARK PINK of zebra stripes. She was going to make sure that her desk was noticeable and that people knew who sat there. Next she added a cute and adorable lamp to her desk, followed by pictures of various people from life, Uncle Fabian and her love, Christian. Muggle PostIt Notes in PINK were strategically placed in certain areas across her desk, among other desk decorations that dealt with PINK or zebra print. Loud enough? Nope. She would have to bring more later.
