Boon loaded her burdens onto a trolley and sighed with the relief of it. This was more "stuff" than she'd had, maybe ever. It was an incredible feeling, entering a situation with the proper tools. She looked around at the bustling crowd and caught hold of her enthusiasm. She still had to find the platform. "Ok then," she told herself, "let's do this."
Annabeth was on her own, she was dropped off by the orphanage and left there, she couldn't see anybody she knew, then she spotted a girl who also seemed to be on her own, "Hello," she said nervously, "I-I'm Annabeth, whats your name?" she asked.
"Hello Annabeth." Rosalind said smiling. "I'm Rosalind. At the moment I am in a bit of a rush. I'm meeting some friends, and I have to find them before the train gets here. But maybe we'll meet on the train and we can talk more?" She smiled, and sicerely hoped that the girl wouldn't find her to be rude, but she really was in a rush, and she seemed to be drawing a lot of attention to herself with the large owl sitting amongst her stuff. She hated being the center of attention, but she felt really bad about leaving this girl in the dust like this. "I'll see you around, okay?" She really did want to be friends with Anabelle, but she also really didn't want to miss the train! She turned, smiled at the girl one last time, said "Sorry!" and started to work her way through the crowd to the wall between platforms 9 and 10.
Simon walked upto the barrior he had all his stuff with him, he didn't want to go onto the platform just yet, that would mean closer to school and Professor Vindictus, who didn't like the walking stick he had gotten him last term, he had no idea why because Vindictus was getting old and might need one soon.
Simon looked around to see if he could see anyone he knew but he couldn't, he saw two girls talking but decided not to interupt them, he knew he had to go onto the platform soon but just a couple of minutes wouldn't hurt maybe he would see someone he knew.
Ariana Gather all of her things excited to get to the Platform. She noticed some Muggles staring at her for having her owl But she didnt care.. She Headed over to platform 9 3/4

Alyssa looked at the platform before her. She had been to Kings Cross many times and in the past it always looked busy, but somehow it just seemed even more busier today. it was kind of strange because she had never noticed this before, but for first time, she seemed to notice the other students who were also getting ready to board the Hogwarts Express. This would be the first time that she would be running into a wall at Platform 9 3/4 and she hoped that what Nessie told her when she met her at Diagon Alley was correct. She didn't want to look like a fool if she simply crashed into it and didn't run through it like she was supposed to. She already felt awkward walking around with an owl in a cage
"Okay there's Platforms 9 and 10", she told her parents. "That's where we need to go".
"Hello Annabeth." Rosalind said smiling. "I'm Rosalind. At the moment I am in a bit of a rush. I'm meeting some friends, and I have to find them before the train gets here. Fiona hurried to catch up with Rosalind. She had just said goodbye to her parents and wanted to go through the entrance with her friend. "Hey!" she said, while lugging her her owl and her stuff to the wall between platforms 9 and 10.

"Fiona! Hi! I was beginning to wonder if you were ever going to show. We should go over to the wall. I don't want to miss the train!" Rosalind was doing everything that she could to hide her nervous excitement, but she could tell she was giving herself away by talking so much.
Mickey looked around and took it in, nerves were starting to get to her again.* With her mother being busy with business in France she felt like she didn't have much of a choice.* The ticket said 9 and three quarters, but she didn't see the sign for it. It's a good thing I left early-ish she thought.

"Yeah let's get going. My parents say it is very important to get to the train on time!" Fiona said. "Sorry I took so long, my brother wanted to come too, but he's only 6." she laughed. "And don't worry, this is going to be fun!"
Emma sighed as she put her stuff on a trolley. Looking up, she saw a girl around her age looking nervous. She was alone like her. She pushed the trolley up to her. "Hi. I'm Emma. Are you looking for Platform 9 3/4? I am too." she said with a slight smile.
Today wasn't a good day for Lysandra. Her bad mood started when she left her home to arrive at Kings Cross station with her parents. Her parents. They were the main reason her mood plummeted downward. They started to argue even before she got up to get ready. So, she decided to ignore them the whole time. Now she was pushing her cart full of school stuff down the platform ahead of her parents. Her snowy white owl, Stein, sit quietly in his cage. At least you're quiet, huh? she said to him. He ruffled his feathers and hooted. She chuckled quietly. Guess you like the quiet as much as I do. She continued to push her cart down the walkway.
This would be her second year at Hogwarts and she was excited. When she finally reached where the platforms nine and ten where, she looked back to see her parents still arguing. She sighed, looked at the wall between the two platforms and then looked around for any muggles. The coast was clear. She took one last look at her parents. Same old, same old. She focused her attention back to her destination and started a quick run. Next thing she knew, she was at the Hogwarts Express. Now to get her stuff on board.
Anne's father, Tom, helped her to put all her stuff on the trolley while her mum, Elizabeth gave her some advice.
"Please, Anne, behave your self while you're at Hogwarts! I don't want ANY letters from the Headmaster now! And also, you wouldn't like it if I gave you a howler.." said Elizabeth strictly. "Mum, you've told me that over and over ever since we were in the car. I have ears and a brain, you know." snapped Anne. "Darling! Don't be rude!" said Anne's father, Tom strictly. "Sorry, Mummy.." Anne quickly said.

Affinity jumped out of the car excited. "Yes!" she bellowed. Today was the day she was waiting for all Summer, to board the train to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!
As she made her way into the train station, she gathered her belongings and planted them on a trolley. Her head was so full of excitement that she ran to platform nine and three quarters, nearly tripping over her trolley on the way. When she had arrived, she took a quick glance to make sure no muggles were watching. Positive that the coast was clear, she ran into the wall between platform nine and ten to begin her journey...

Harvey walks onto the platform with a trolley laden with school supplies. Harvey, his parents, brother Harley and sister Emma are all looking for a platfrom 9 3/4 but not being able to see it. "Where is this platform" Harvey's father says "It has to be here somewhere". They carry on walking and suddenly his mother exclaims "Hey Harvey look, owls and trunks.. lets follow them and see where they are going". "Ok mom, lets go" says Harvey. They follow that particular family and see that they stop near a wall that has the number 9 on 1 side and 10 on the other.
Then they see one of the children run towards the wall in between the platforms 9 and 10 and just disappear. As they all watch the whole family either walked or ran towards this wall and disappeared.
Ariella shoved her cart harder and picked up speed as she grew closer to the station. The day had finally come for her to head back to Hogwarts. Her summer was as boring as ever - spending it day by day sitting outside in her garden writing. Her parents seemed to pay no attention to her. Her older sister, Lilac, was the new starting seeker of the London International Quidditch Team. It seemed that her mum and dad were too busy fussing over Lilac's achievements to even care about Ariella.
"Ariella, dear, please calm yourself. I don't want you to crash into someone," her mother was saying. Ariella ignored her. She was too busy scanning the area for any of her friends. But the station was packed with muggles.
"Mum! Hurry up!" Ariella coaxed her mother to walk faster as they drew nearer to the platform. She was eager to get away from her boring home life. She could hear her father and mother mumbling under their breath behind her.

Then again, she'd never realized her brother was different. She did find it a little odd that he kept his wardrobe locked, but she figured that was because he didn't like anyone snooping.
"Apparently nobody wanted the job of telling me..." she said sadly. "I don't think I'd even know now had it not been for nearly stepping on that stupid badge." Was it sad that she would have rather been in the dark longer than finding out by accident? Not only did she feel betrayed by everyone keeping something from her, but she also felt like she was intruding on something special... something she might never understand.
"Why does everyone have to do what he wants anyway?" she asked with a slight temper. She knew it was his secret, but she was still offended. It seemed like everything was about him recently. Their parents probably liked him more. He was, after all, their actual kid. "Protect me from what exactly? Running my mouth? Actually knowing who my brother is?" She frowned. "They knew exactly what was going to happen when they took me in..." she said glancing at the shop again. "They knew they were going to hide it from me, didn't they?"
She blinked twice. "What do you mean?" she asked when Mina said that just because she was from a magical family didn't mean she would necessarily be magic. "You mean it works the other way around too?" she asked. As in, just like her brother who came from a non-magic family there were people who weren't magic from magical families. She frowned. "I still don't understand why it's a secret though. Couldn't I have known all along?" She had a feeling her three-year-old self would have taken the news a lot better than she was now.
"That must have been the job interview he went to when we were in... what was it called... Puddle... Puddle-something. It was a boring city so I don't really remember it..." Plus she was much more concerned with other things going on that day to remember the name of the place. "Three goals?" she asked. "Wouldn't that get confusing?" She could barely concentrate on the one goal whenever she played football. She gasped when Mina whispered to her that the g ame was played in the air. "Are you crazy!! she exclaimed. "What if you fall? Have you??" And more importantly -- did her brother suffer severe brain damage from falling? Because she could see the signs...
She accepted the book and gasped once again. "Did you know the pictures move?" she whispered back flipping through the book. It was like reading a movie! Why weren't all books like this?
She frowned when Mina said that she wanted to take her to a match. "I don't think I'd be able to go..." she said sadly. "Aren't they only for... you know... people like you?"
"Mina... can I ask you something?" she asked quietly. "Should I be mad at him?" It was all too much for her to handle and she didn't know what to make of everything. Had there really been a good reason to keep this from her? Were there just too many rules that she couldn't even begin to understand. It would make her feel a lot better if everyone just didn't have a choice...
Mina nodded her head and smiled softly. "None of his teammates know that he can do magic and he's learning how to do everything without magic," she explained. Most of their summer was spent not relying on magic and it was a welcome change. "Sweetie, everyone is different but it's not like everyone can see how different we are just by looking at us." Looks were always deceiving after all.
"Sweetie, don't say that," she frowned. "I wanted to tell you and if I had my way, I would have took you sooner." It was getting later and later for Anya to know and Mina had almost had it. She would have probably stormed the Phillips home at the beginning of the summer and told Anya herself if it hadn't been for the promise that Carter was having her over to help break the news to Anya. "We were always going to tell you, I know I was going to tell you my secret. It is mine to tell and I wanted you to know. It doesn't change who I am or how I feel though." She wasn't really allowed to talk about a part of her life to her friend, but that was over now. "You know if Carter wouldn't hve told you, I would have done it. It was silly to wait this long on something this important." There were enough lies swimming around them and it was time to stop all the lies.
"Because he is Carter," she shook her head. "Between the two of us, you must know that sometimes it seems the world has to revolve around him." Yeah, like the had to wonder where he got a ludicrous idea from. It was so the company he was keeping again. "Your dim brother has that effect on people, but I'll let you in a secret. As much as I love him, I love you more and I'm on your side. I should hve told you even though it wasn't my place and I'm sure I would have gotten in trouble for it; but you should have known sooner." Keeping lies were only going to make things even more difficult in the end. If Carter thought this was bad, he was probably in for worst in the future. "There is a law that says we aren't to talk about being able to do the things we do." This statute was going to be the death of today. "A long time ago, being able to do what we could do wasn't safe. People would want to take advantage of us, make us out to be freaks and the what not. You know we are still people, we have the same blood. We just have a different kind of talent." This whole conversation was not going as she planned, but she was willing to take the little girls anger. She had wronged her and it was her punishment. "You know who Carter is, you just weren't allowed to know a part of who he is. You know there are parts of Carter that I don't even know about and to be honest I don't want to know about." She had learned a long time ago, that she would never truly know who her besties was and in turn he would probably know who she was really. Glancing back to the shop, she bit her lip. "They always wanted to tell you. I know this and if they had their way, you would have known a long time ago too." They all know that lying was going to bit them in the end, but they had all made their beds now.
Nodding her head, she frowned. "Yes, there is always a chance that not everyone get to be as talented as other." She wasn't supposed to know that her own family feared her to be a squib, but she came to find out things after time. "I like to believe that we are all born with magic, some people can use it like we do; when as other people can channel it into other talents." There was a spark in everyone and sometimes that spark was enough to trigger sometime in them early on. "It's this statute that we all must follow, there are rules and a lot of legal mumbo-jumbo. But you know, I think you should have been told before." It would have been easier for everyone if it had happened years ago. "If they would have told you when you were younger, would you have thought they were just pulling your leg?" She couldn't really put herself in her friend's shoes, but she would surely try. "You know the if I were you and someone told me all this when I was little I would have laughed and thought they were being silly with me. But you know it's real now." If she hadn't been exposed to the muggle world in her youth, she probably would have had the same reaction if another whole world was dropped in her lap like so.
Carter hadn't told her everything, but she could only assume that he was doing what Jacob had wanted and done. She wasn't a fool to think he would want to play professionally, but it hurt that she was finding out the way she was now. Hearing the name, she blinked. "Puddlemere United? You were in Puddlemere?" she asked. The city didn't even exist to anyone outside the wizarding world and her friend had been there. That was interesting. Noticing the look on her face, she let a tiny smile form on her lips. "You get the hang of it after a while, they are all close together and it makes protecting the goals more interesting." She could never be a keeper, but she did have respect for all the keepers she know, well aside from a few. "You know I never think about falling when I'm up there playing," she smiled as she shrugged a shoulder. "I've never really fallen off when I'm up high, but it's kind of like a bike or riding a horse. You have to keep your balance." She wasn't even going to do into depth about all the other stuff involved, that would have to wait for another time.
Smiling, she nodded. "Cool isn't it?" The excitement that she would see in her friend's eye made her heart melt a little. This was a special moment and it was almost ruined before it could happen. Yes, she would have to have words with a certain Gryffie.
"Sweetie, if you were really able to see Puddlemere and can remember it. I'm allowed to take you with me to a match," she announced to her friend. "Our summer girl time was taken away from us and I'm putting my foot down about it." She would take her friend with her even if it meant she would have to take a trip down to the ministry for her behaviour. Plus, she still stood by the fact that she felt there was something extremely special about the little girl and there was a strong spark in her.
Looking back at her friend, she nodded. "You know you can ask me anything," she replied. There were too many secrets and she did owe Anya the truth. "I'm not going to make excuses for him. I'm mad at him myself and I know how you feel. He had to keep it a secret because of the statute really and until he turned 17." It would had been breaking the rules to tell her sooner, but it wasn't like they hadn't broken rules before. "He meant well and I know he does feel bad, but it was his decision to keep it from you all summer. I would be mad about that especially, but you can only do so much when you have rules to follow." It was so much easier to be mad about Carter for keeping secrets though and even as his bestie, she felt he brought some of the anger upon himself.

"Okay there's Platforms 9 and 10", she told her parents. "That's where we need to go".
Sarah stood alone in a sea of people. And her parents had believed her when she had said she could do this on her own... why? What was she supposed to do? Just... sit there? Maybe she'd ask someone.
There. There was a girl who looked like another witch.
"Um, hello?" Sarah said with uncharacteristic shyness, "D'you know how to get to platform 9 and 3/4?"
It took a moment for Ivory to realize the car had come to a stop. Looking up from her charm bracelet, which she’d been worrying in slow circles around her wrist, she stared out the window at the building before her.
“Kings Cross. This is it.” announced the taxi driver.
The Ravenclaw hesitated, then paid him and got out. Got out alone.
She was taken aback by how busy everything was. It suddenly made her head feel light, the street sounds, the electronics, the buzz of conversation...muggle conversation. There was this sensation of otherworldliness, like she’d traveled some impossible distance. It was the first time she'd arrived at the station alone. Funny, it'd never felt like this when she'd come with her family.
The sixteen year old looked around the bustle of the street while the taxi driver took her trunk out. Thanking him as he placed her luggage on a trolley, she placed Gavin's covered cage atop of it all and pushed forward. The wheels of the cart protested from overuse as she steered through the throng of people and into the public square. Seven...Eight...Nine...
There's was a wholesome, girl-next-door look about Ivory Erised as she made her way through the square — with her sparkling brown eyes, oval face devoid of make-up and a casual outfit of figure-hugging jeans and a simple blue-grey top. Pausing, she looked around casually pretending to fiddle with the clasps on her trunk. Through her peripheral vision, she smiled as she noticed a pack of obvious Hogwarts students rushing the solid metal barrier between 9 and 10.
Turning towards the barrier as well as she waited for the opportune moment, she looked around curiously wondering if she stood out as a Hogwarts student herself.

Alyssa turned around to see who was talking to her. "Oh hi there, someone told me that we walk until we get to Platforms 9 and 10 and when we get there, we run right between the wall separating both Platforms. I know that it sounds dangerous, but I've seen lots of people disappear through it so it must work. Good luck. I hate to run but I need to catch up with my parents. I'll look for you on the train and if you want we can share a compartment. Oh by the way, my name is Alyssa", and with that, she was off running after her parents who had walked on ahead of her.

"Thanks!" Sarah called after the girl. If she met her again, she'd tell Alyssa her name. Right. She just had to... run headfirst into a solid looking stone wall. Simple.
"Okay," Sarah said to herself. "Just... run right at it. You'll be fine. She did it..."
Sarah drew in a deep breath and ran at the wall...
Melania entered the station with her parents. They grabbed a trolley and placed all her things onto it. Her parents reminded her that if she needed anything, to just send them an owl. She nodded. It was quite an awkward silence kind of moment as they head towards the platform.
Sarah arrived at the train station barely on time. Her parents weren't used to traveling to muggle areas so they just stuck her on the Knight bus and gave her more money for trip. 'Of course they wouldn't see to drop her off like proper parents,' she thought to herself as she lugged her trunk and owl cage off the bus. Her parents were nice enough to tell her how to get to Platform 9 3/4 so she headed towards the barrier, dodging the muggles.

Zhenya was up so early the morning the Hogwarts Express was coming. She had all of her stuff packed early and was ready to go on time. Her mother, who worked with muggle children, already had a car so they drove in. Zhenya's owl, Rosy, was safely in her cage with a few rosebuds which she loved to eat so much. Her father put all her things on a trolley and pushed it into Kings Cross Station.
"Mama, I'm so excited. Do you think I'll be in Slytherin like Papa?" she asked. Zhenya had been very anxious about the sorting, because her entire English family had been in Slytherin.
"Sweet heart, even if you aren't in Slytherin, it does not matter. You will be in the only house there is for you, and we will be so proud of you," said her father.
She smiled at him and took her mother's hand whilst they walked towards platform 9 3/4

Raven entered the Kings Cross Public Square and looked around excitedly. Being from America this was her first time in this place and it was the first train station she had ever been to. She had always wanted to ride a train. And now was her chance to ride an amazing train to a wonderful school that she had been looking forward to very much ever since she had gotten her acceptance letter. Raven's mother, Victoria grabbed her hand and guided her through the crowds. They were headed straight for platform 9 and 3/4.

"So this is finally it.", Joch said as she smiled.
"Yup. Excited about it?", Jane asked.
"Yeah," she said as she hugged her mom. Jane handed her a small box. "What is this?", Joch asked. "Just open it when you arrive at Hogwarts," she replied. Joch nodded and went on. "Bye mom!", she said as her mom waved back.
