"You're a Prefect? Fourth year?" There was most definitely a genuine grin on the redhead's face. "Congratulations. You must be so proud of yourself." Really. It wasn't unheard of. Ravenclaw's own remaining Prefect had acquired that position in her fourth year. But it still seemed pretty rare. And Kurumi should feel pretty special.

Oh. Oh.

"So...you're worried about the train ride? The Prefects compartment?" Yeah, Ellie had noticed Kurumi's glance at the platform. "If it helps...I'll be there, too. Sometimes, just having someone who understands helps." And WHERE did Ellie get all philosophical, exactly? Had she thought about what she was saying, instead of just being sure it was comforting, she'd have weirded herself out by the words.

But hey wait. "How do you know he's a Prefect?" Unless they'd had contact over the summer. Which Kurumi made clear did not happen. The only male Prefect Ellie knew of was Treyen. And he had said the rest had all left school, that there would be all new Prefects this term.

Nervous wreck was the more appropriate term Kurumi would use to describe her feelings about being appointed. Don't get her wrong, she felt honored that she had been selected, she was just nervous that she wouldn't live up to people's expectations as to what the title entailed and, the more stressful of all, what people expected of her. Her father was proud enough for the both of them...ten times over. "T-T-Thank you," she said with a humble bow of the head.

Ding ding ding!

Kurumi nodded her head as Ellie hit the nail on the head. "A-A-Are you a prefect too?" Kurumi really had no idea who the Ravenclaw prefect was, so it was entirely possible. Although, the way the gir flew Kurumi reconed she would be the Quidditch captain. Despite them having shared their first conversation just now, Kurumi DID feel a little better knowing that she had an older student there who knew what was going on. She didn't know who the other prefects from the other houses were, and she certainly wasn't comfortable talking with Jai since they had barely spoken more than five words to each other.

"Well..." Kurumi said sheepishly. "H-H-He was one last term...so I just assume that he kept the position this term."

'Your Welcome' didn't exactly seem appropriate. So Ellie only smiled and nodded at the thanks. She'd do good as Prefect, probably. Or she wouldn't have been appointed one, right?

She laughed at the question. "No," she said shaking her head, "No, I wouldn't be Prefect." Really, no. Hah. "I am Quidditch Captain, though. So I'll be in that compartment." Treyen said it was okay, at least. And she'd rather sit with him that anyone else on the hours long ride.

But her face soon fell. Completely. And Ellie was wearing a frown. Aside from crying, Ellie'd never really frowned. Pouted, sure. But not a frown. And things suddenly clicked in her head and she felt the terrible hurt that she had last term when Treyen had told her about the kiss. "It's Treyen, isn't it?" If Kurumi had liked the boy as much as she did, she would have known if he had graduated last year. Treyen was the only male Prefect left.

This situation was suddenly uncomfortable and the Ravenclaw wished Clio would start screeching so she'd have to run off onto the train so as not to disturb anyone. But the owl was doing quite the opposite, sleeping in her cage. Ellie did grab her bag, however, and swung it over her shoulder, careful she didn't hit anyone.

Yet, why bother leaving? They were going to be sitting together for the majority of the day. It was useless to try and avoid this.

Her head was clogging with interrogative questions. Questions that Ellie was going to ask, despite her new policy of not prying. Questions that she needed to know. That she had the right to know...didn't she? She'd just ask the ones that stood out in her mind. The ones that were most important to her. Not any of the 'why's that would get her virtually no answers. "You're the girl who kissed him?" Of course she was. She was the one who liked him. Nevermind how odd it was that a little stuttering girl would take the initiative to plant one on him. "Did he...Did he happen to mention who the other girl was that he was interested in?" That answer she was afraid of.

But that order seemed alright. The scenario that re-wrote itself in Ellie's mind all summer did so once more. And it seemed obvious that Kurumi had kissed Treyen before he got the chance to tell her about his other interest. The other way didn't make sense. Or Ellie didn't want it to be true. And then Treyen had told her that he didn't like her...and avoided her. Which, actually, Ellie still felt was pretty mean of him.

The thing that changed most in Ellie's imagination was the girl. Treyen never told her who it was or what she looked like. And Ellie had convinced herself it was some ugly offspring of a Hag and a Kappa. Maybe with some Clabbert mixed in. But the girl who stood before her was pretty and nice and smart and...she needed to have a talk with Treyen. Not immediately, but...soon enough.

"Nope, none at all. I don't really know why but i guess it's because of how busy my parents are always rushing around to get things done correctly," She said with a sign. It did get lonely sometimes and she would love a brother or sister but it was too late now. She shook the thought from her head.

"Oh yes, i bought her in diagon alley, This is Whisper," She said pointing to the black cat with yellow eyes in the travel cage. "I connected to her straight away," Evangeline said smiling at the kitten. She put her fingers through the bars in the cage to stroke the little kitten who purred in gratitude.
Pippa felt relieved at the fact that she could have potentially just befriended a future classmate. Despite having plenty of friends, Pippa was a shy girl who struggled to make the first move. Hogwarts is my chance to step outside of my shell... she'd thought to herself, the morning she'd received her letter.

Pippa leaned forward to get a closer look at the tiny black kitten the girl had gestured to. It's large yellow eyes stared right back into Pippa's dark brown ones as it let out a small "meow". "Aw, she's gorgeous!" Pippa cooed, smiling at Whisper. "This is Spook" Pippa said as she gestured towards the large cage atop of her trunk. Sigo was staring in through the bars, causing Spook to hide at the back of the cage away from his peering green eyes. "Get away from him, you monkey" Pippa warned her little brother, who proceeded to back away from the cage a few centimeters. "He's three years old, and such a snuggler" laughed Pippa as she looked in to check on the cat.

Spook, an incredibly large dark grey Tabby cat with striking blue eyes, began licking at Pippa's hand as she placed it upon the bars of the cage. She giggled with delight as his rough, pink tongue ran itself furiously along the palm of her hand. "Alright ladies, time to get a move on" said her father, gesturing towards the platform. Pippa took a deep breath, and glancing towards Evangeline asked, "You first?"

Annabeth was on her own, she was dropped off by the orphanage and left there, she couldn't see anybody she knew, then she spotted a girl who also seemed to be on her own, "Hello," she said nervously, "I-I'm Annabeth, whats your name?" she asked.

Arabella-Marie smiled at Kita and said "Nope i am not waiting for anybody else Kita, maybe we should make our way towards the platform i don't want to miss the train"

He was ready to recieve a "It's none of your business" in response, but luckily she gave a nice answer. He chuckled "Same here" he said and saw she looked at his trunks "Yes" he nodded, he wasn't going to ask the same thing. It was pretty obvious she was going to the same place as him "In what year are you gonna be?" he asked instead.

Oh and he has forgotten to say his name.

"Nikolas" he introduced to the girl "You?" he asked.
Amy still looked at her dad, with a slightly miffed look on her face, he was still in his chat. At this rate she'd just walk off and go on the train and then hah to him. Hah....but frankly, she'd feel crap if she did that and it would make her cry and then Sammy would be all "WHATS UP HOMIE" if she could ever find her blonde dingbat.

Anyway, back to real world and zoom in on the conversation with the fittie. What was going on with Amy, seriously, she'd spent almost the whole of her summer running around Diagon Alley running into fitties. Deffinatley her favourite hols. Amy nodded, no point in saying "same". He knew that she would be going to Hogwarts as well, it was obvious with her trunks that were fill to bursting and were covered in Hogwarts stuff. Fifth she nodded with a grin. Man, she looooveeed that. Finally she could say "I'm in the fifth" and feel cool. That said, she also had the slight iffie of OWLs...but she'd get to that when she needed to.

Amy she grinned at him Hufflepuff

Kita smiled, secretly glad that Arabella wasn't waiting for anyone else. Chances are, if Arabella was waiting for someone, she, Kita, wouldn't know the person Arabella was waiting which would have only lead to one thing: awkwardness. And Kita and awkwardness doesn't go. Just... no.

Go to the platform? Kita looked up at the clock. Yes, it was close to 11am. How long had they been standing there talking?! "Maybe we should..." she started, turning her gaze to the wall instead, "Merlin! I don't want to think about this whole last-time business."

And Ellie had convinced herself it was some ugly offspring of a Hag and a Kappa. Maybe with some Clabbert mixed in. But the girl who stood before her was pretty and nice and smart and...she needed to have a talk with Treyen. Not immediately, but...soon enough.

Kurumi wasn't sure why, but she breathed a sigh of relief when Ellie said she was the Quidditch captain. The girl was a brilliant player and one of the quickest Seekers she had gone up against last term - well, Kurumi had only played in two matches, so she really didn't have much to go on. But, between Lola and Ellie...well, Ellie's reputation was just a little more sparkly.

"I am sure you will do a brilliant job," she smiled. Ellie, at least, didn't seem the type to try and feed first year Hufflepuffs to Snargaluff plants.

Kurumi watched as Ellie's face only slightly contorted when Kurumi explained her situation a little more. She looked down at the ground, her expression saddened, when Ellie said his name. It stung a lot more than she thought it would, hearing his name said aloud.

Unable to find her voice, Kurumi nodded. She felt her heart pounding in her chest like a herd of centaurs cantering across the Forbidden Forest. "Y-Y-Yes..."

Kurumi didn't looked at Ellie after. Nope, the ground seemed like the much more friendly option at the moment. However, her head DID snap back up when Ellie spoke and asked her if she....

o______________________________________O

"W-W-W-W-WHAT?!"

Kurumi's hair turned white on the spot in shock. She hadn't kissed Treyen. In fact, the only boy she had ever kissed had kissed her. She never made the first move - nor was she sure that she would ever be capable of doing so. Not to mention that the boy who had been her first and only kiss was now thousands and thousands of miles away in Mexico.

"I-I-I-I've n-n-n-never k-i-i-i-i-issed Treyen," she squeaked like a frightened mouse.

Kurumi felt like her tongue was glued to the roof of her mouth and her throat ran dry. She was sure that her complexion must match the color of her hair right now. Treyen told Ellie that she had kissed him? Not only had he lead her on, as others had put it, but now he was lying about her.

It broke Kurumi's heart even more.

"W-W-W-Why would he s-s-s-say such a t-t-t-thing..." she whimpered as the knife that had already been stabbed in her chest months ago was twisted.

Kurumi whimpered, and almost didn't hear Ellie's next question. Had he said who? Kurumi could hardly remember anything he had said after she had confessed and after finding the Aparecium lying on the floor. There might have been a name written there, but Kurumi's eyes had glazed over it. The only parts that had registered were those directly concerning her and how she had completely misunderstood her now former Badger Prince's actions.

"I-I-I don't remember..." she squeaked, finally not noticing that her hair was white as a sheet. But...she didn't care. It didn't matter now. Treyen was spreading horrible lies about her. Why would she kiss someone who had made it clear that they didn't like her that way?

She peeked up through her bangs to look at the red head before her.

"A-A-A-Are you..." but Kurumi couldn't finish her thought. She was sure Ellie already knew what she wanted to ask.

Evan being a wizard didn't define him and she wanted to let Anya it was just part of him. She still thought that it was still very much possible her friend was magical. The young girl was special and that maybe any hint of magical just hadn't been triggered just yet.

"You know it wasn't my place to tell you, but I wanted too." she frowned. Anya was like a sister to her but at the end of the day, she wasn't her sister and she had no right to tell her about Carter. Yet, she should have told her about herself and that was where she had wronged her friend. "I'm so sorry I didn't tell you I was 'special', but I was trying to respect Carter's wishes. Again I won't make excuses for him, but if you are upset with me; I can understand completely," she added with a pout. It was a delicate subject they were touching on. It wasn't as if they didn't trust her, they did and she had a right to know. Waiting this long had been a grave mistake.

Hugging the younger girl, she rubbed her back as she tried to calm Anya down. "But you are sweetie. Your family loves you and you know that. It was a mistake to keep secrets from you, but that doesn't mean you are any less a family," she replied. Secrets weren't rare in her own family and that she was very aware of. Biting her lip, she sighed. "You know how I know that you are part of a family? Families always think they are trying to protect you by keeping things from you; in the name of love and thinking it's for the best." She never did understand that, but she was all to familiar with the reasoning.

Glancing over into the shop, she shook her head. "Carter is the first one in your family and your parents are the only people that knew about him being one of us." She knew this was going to be very hard for her to explain without confusing the girl, but she would just have to try to explain it. "You know this school that Carter and I go to? Well, we get letters each year we attend and I'm sure when Carter got his first letter, your family was confused and someone probably had to come and explain everything." The whole concept was a bit new to her seeing that Carter was her first muggle friend, but she understood what was to happy. "That was six years ago and if I were your parents, I would have been a bit sceptical about it all and unsure about what was going on. Your parents did the best they could in their shoes." She wouldn't make excuses for Carter, but it wasn't like their parents had any other real choice. If they were to talk the Ministry would have been on them.

Nodding slowly, Mina sighed. "I've always known about our world, but just because I know about it; didn't mean that I was destined to be part of it." she replied. Her family never spoke of it but there was always a chance that she could have been a squib and that terrified her family. "Every family has their secrets and they like to think that keeping them is protecting us, but in the end it only seems to hurt us and make us question what me mean to them." Yes, the secrets kept from her weren't as huge as keeping a whole world secret, but that didn't mean being lied to hurt any less. "Know one wants to be kept in the dark about something, especially when it's the people you love keeping the secret." In her seventeen years, she had many people she loved keep secrets from her and it pained her to think that they didn't trust or respect her enough to tell her the truth. One of those people that kept secrets from her was oddly enough the same person that wronged Anya. Carter was notorious for keeping secrets that only caused a girl to tear and question just what she meant.

Hearing the question, Mina could help but smile a little. "It's a game we play at school. I play as well and your brother wants to play professionally, just like how my Evan wanted to play football." It was strange to think that her boyfriend was pretty much doing the same thing as her bestie, in enter a world no their own to pursue their dreams. "It's a lot of fun, it's like football in that you need to get a ball in a goal; but there are three possible goals to get the ball through and we play," she explained before leaning in the whisper in her ear. "In the air on brooms." There was no point in sugar-coating it now. Anya wanted answers and she would give them to her friend. Leaning back, she reached into her bag and pulled out a book. "When I was your age, I never thought I would love the sport but I kind of fell in love with it," she beamed as handed her friend her own copy of "Quidditch Through the Ages". "It a confusing sport, but I love it and I really hope that I can take you to see a match one day." It would be a great bonding experience.

Anya blinked several times. She still didn't understand why everything had to be so secretive. "So... nobody notices he's different?" she asked skeptically. Then again, she'd never realized her brother was different. She did find it a little odd that he kept his wardrobe locked, but she figured that was because he didn't like anyone snooping.

"Apparently nobody wanted the job of telling me..." she said sadly. "I don't think I'd even know now had it not been for nearly stepping on that stupid badge." Was it sad that she would have rather been in the dark longer than finding out by accident? Not only did she feel betrayed by everyone keeping something from her, but she also felt like she was intruding on something special... something she might never understand.

"Why does everyone have to do what he wants anyway?" she asked with a slight temper. She knew it was his secret, but she was still offended. It seemed like everything was about him recently. Their parents probably liked him more. He was, after all, their actual kid. "Protect me from what exactly? Running my mouth? Actually knowing who my brother is?" She frowned. "They knew exactly what was going to happen when they took me in..." she said glancing at the shop again. "They knew they were going to hide it from me, didn't they?"

She blinked twice. "What do you mean?" she asked when Mina said that just because she was from a magical family didn't mean she would necessarily be magic. "You mean it works the other way around too?" she asked. As in, just like her brother who came from a non-magic family there were people who weren't magic from magical families. She frowned. "I still don't understand why it's a secret though. Couldn't I have known all along?" She had a feeling her three-year-old self would have taken the news a lot better than she was now.

"That must have been the job interview he went to when we were in... what was it called... Puddle... Puddle-something. It was a boring city so I don't really remember it..." Plus she was much more concerned with other things going on that day to remember the name of the place. "Three goals?" she asked. "Wouldn't that get confusing?" She could barely concentrate on the one goal whenever she played football. She gasped when Mina whispered to her that the game was played in the air. "Are you crazy!! she exclaimed. "What if you fall? Have you??" And more importantly -- did her brother suffer severe brain damage from falling? Because she could see the signs...

She accepted the book and gasped once again. "Did you know the pictures move?" she whispered back flipping through the book. It was like reading a movie! Why weren't all books like this?

She frowned when Mina said that she wanted to take her to a match. "I don't think I'd be able to go..." she said sadly. "Aren't they only for... you know... people like you?"

"Mina... can I ask you something?" she asked quietly. "Should I be mad at him?" It was all too much for her to handle and she didn't know what to make of everything. Had there really been a good reason to keep this from her? Were there just too many rules that she couldn't even begin to understand. It would make her feel a lot better if everyone just didn't have a choice...

Adanna stood with her family at King's Cross. This was her fourth year at the station, but her first year with her own cart. The previous three were to send off her sister, Eleanora.
Eleanora, a sociable fourth year Ravenclaw, usually went off with her small group of close friends (as she did whilst Adanna was shopping for school supplies), she knew that this day was important, so she stuck around.
Their mother did not wish to enter Platform 9 3/4, as she was not yet used to the idea of magic. She did not have anything against it, and was proud of both of her daughters, but she held tightly to her Muggle heritage. Therefore, she chose to send off her daughters here at King's Cross.
Adanna stood close to her mother, clutching tightly to the handle of her cart. Her Russian Blue, Toffee, napped atop her trunks.

After giving her mother a kiss and hug good-bye, Adanna watched as Eleanora pushed her trunk through into Platform 9 3/4. She followed her lead, her father close behind.

Jesifur stood with her mother and father between platforms nine and ten. She looked uncertainly up at her father, "And you just run right into the wall? And you don't get hurt?" Her father laughed,"Yes, Fur just run right at it. Would you like us to come?" She thought about it a moment, "No, Fat I can do it." She laughed right back at him. He glared at her, "It's FATHER, not Fat young lady..." Jesifur smiled at him, "If you call me Fur, I should be allowed to call you..." her voice drifted off as she saw her mother's stern look. They all broke out laughing...and hugged. "I love you guys and I'll miss you" Jesifur said. "We'll write often." her mother said. "But not too often." said her father. Jesifur gave her parents one last smile and ran at the barrier, shouting back,"BYE MOT AND FAT!" as she heard them shout "BYE FUR".

Yeah, Ellie liked this girl. She was so sweet. "Thanks." She'd try, but as she'd settled with Treyen, they'd have to see. Hopefully she would do a 'brilliant job'.

A nod. That was the answer she had been expecting since...well since she'd asked the question. So there was no look of shock on the Ravenclaw's face.

Her eyes certainly widened at the response she got from her second question. She had NOT expected a sound of THAT amplitude to come from this small girl. Especially after the whisper of the previous answer. And all the stuttering had certainly suggested that the girl was rather quiet. Apparently, Ellie had been deeply, terribly wrong and HOLYMERLINHERHAIRWASWHITE!!!!

But...nevermind the hair. That was....really freaky, but unimportant....maybe...Ellie was eyeing it suspiciously as she listened to the girl stammer.

CRUD.

"Kurumi....Kurumi? Please, relax..." She'd broken the girl. Kurumi was white and stuttering and that was obviously NOT how a human should look or behave and it was Ellie's fault.

Crud.

She had removed her hand from the Gryffindor's shoulder in shock at the surprised reaction for kissing Treyen...but she had decided to put it back, and the other followed onto the other shoulder. Ellie had no idea what she was going to say, but she had to get Kurumi to calm herself. "He didn't, Kurumi. I'm so sorry. It's not...he never said it was you, I just thought, because you said you liked him, that you were the one..." Which raised the question of just WHO actually kissed him.

It seemed stupid of her to think it was Kurumi. The poor girl...it should have been clear she wouldn't do a thing like that. She didn't seem forward enough to initiate a kiss. Ellie had been completely foolish.

Though, it hadn't been Kurumi that kissed him. Which meant that it was someone else. There was a third girl, apparently, that had a crush on the Lockhart. And that thought...actually, it made Ellie smile a bit.

But not for long as she had a small Lion to tranquilize.

Ellie shook her head. "It's fine...I was just curious. It doesn't matter. It's really not important." Really. And she now regretted asking it. It truly, honestly, really, did not matter if he'd mentioned her at the time or not. And it was selfish of her to think he might've.

"I'm sorry." That was the answer to Kurumi's unfinished question. Because she was sorry that Kurumi had been heartbroken because Treyen had liked her instead. She really felt bad. She knew what that felt like...or thought she did, as she was certain Treyen had had feelings for the one he kissed that were stronger than his feelings for her.

"Look," her voice hadn't been any louder than usual, but she spoke even softer now, "About the train... I'm going to be sitting there... He asked me to and I'd told him I would but...I won't stay long. I don't want to make it unnecessarily uncomfortable for you..." So, in Ellie's head, if Kurumi didn't see her with Treyen, it wouldn't hurt as much. This was her being genuinely considerate for Kurumi's feelings. She felt so so so so bad.

She'd have to apologize to Treyen, as well...for this scene here. Horrifying Kurumi.

Aurora nervously stood waiting as her father took out all her things from the car. She glanced at the entrance to King's Cross watching people going about their business.

She was about to step on the train that would take her to Hogwarts. To the magical unknown.

Hearing her father call her name out, Aurora looked up. Her parents and younger sister were waiting by a trolley carrying her school stuff. She glanced down at the paper in her hands that read 'Platform 9 and 3/4'

Aurora was fairly certain that she knew all the platforms on King's Cross but this one was new. Good thing they had come an hour early.

Aurora lead her family into the station in search of the platform.

Temperance helps her parents get her school things from their car trunk and onto the trolley that her father found after they parked. She pulls out her school list and notices another sheet of paper with it that has the address of where she's supposed to go. "Where are we supposed to go?" her mother, Naomi, asks "This sheet of paper that came with the supply list says Platform 9 and 3/4." Temperance says "Well it's a good thing we came early then because we've never been to this train station before and it might take us awhile to find this platform" her father, Greg, says. "Well let's start looking for it, maybe we will find other family's that are looking for it also" she says as she starts to push the trolley. "We should have gotten a map of the train station when we moved out here from Chicago" Temperance hears her mother tell her father, "Maybe the platform will be easy to find and we won't need to ask for help." she says to her parents.

Kurumi felt lost both physically and emotionally. She didn't feel as though she were at Kings Cross station anymore. She felt as though she were in a vast black expanse were no sound or light could reach her. It was a place that she knew all to well. A place that she had often run to as a child when things got too much for her to deal with.

She couldn't even hear Ellie try to calm her down.

Kurumi's eyes glazed over and almost looked empty. Her hair was still white and was even beginning to resemble the sickish blue-grey color that it had turned on that day.

This was not the way she wanted to start off the term. If she couldn't deal with her own problems, how was she going to help others with theirs?

"N-N-No need to do that..." she said timidly. "It's you he wants to see...n-n-n-not me." Her small frame was trembling now, just like a leaf trying to cling to the branch of a tree during a hurricane.

She took a step backwards.

"I-I-I'm the one who shouldn't be there." That would make it better, right? "I-I-I'm sorry...I-I-I should go..."

Hood now thrown over her head, Kurumi turned around, hopefully before Ellie could see the tears streaming down her porcelain face. Once her back was turned to the Ravenclaw Captain, she began to slowly walk away. After a few steps, she took off as quickly as her little forth year feet could carry her.

Damon walked through the station,, as usual he was glad to be going back to Hogwarts, it had been a rough break because both of his parents had decided to go to South America for a year and he had the house all to himself visited frequently of course by his Uncle Darien. He heaved his trunk on the cart in front of him as he looked closely trying to make sure that no muggles would interfere... and then he went through the wall..

"Now remember, sweetie, we want to hear from you at least once every 2 weeks. We want to hear about everything you do, about the things you learn, about your friends - "

"ok, mom, I got it!" Callen said to stop her mom from continuing, "I promise I will wright!"

"alright, darling. Just know that we'll miss you." her mother answered, and hugged Callen.

"I know. I'll miss you too.." Callen replyed, and hugged and father as well.

"good bye sweetie! be safe!" her parents called after her as she started walking away towards the platform.

"I will!" she called back, and waved one last time before turning around.

Hogwarts, here I come, she thought.

Glenn pulled her suitcase along after her, her kitten Amata was fast asleep nestled in her pocket it's pure white head drooping over the rim.

Two mousey blond haired teenagers were walking beside her they could only be Glenn's siblings they looked so alike. All like their mother who was a couple of paces ahead along with their brown-haired father.

Glenn's father lead the way to Platform 9 and 3/4 while their mother followed glancing back at them as though wishing them to hurry.

"Mum we're an hour early" Thomas sighed though hurrying a little towards towards his parents.

They paused outside the barrier and Glenn's mother gave them all brief hugs, told them to have fun then walked off back to the car.

Glenn's mother was a muggle and wasn't particularly comfortable in the the magical world.

"Okay go in groups, Thomas you take Glenn" Their father said.

Glenn walked to the barrier with her brother and kept walking until a wall of sound hit her.

Evangeline watched the little boy play with the cat and smiled, he was a cute little boy. "He seems rather sweet," Evangeline said, watching the boy retreat at his sisters words. Slowly she frowned she'd never had that experience with anyone because she had no brothers and sisters. She was an only child. She'd tried to put on a happy face while looking at Pippa's cat.

Evangeline approached the cage ontop of the trunk, she put her hand out to the grey cat with gorgeous blue eyes. The cat licked her fingers wth it's rough tounge, making her laugh as it tickled.

Evangeline glanced at the wall which magically took you to the hogwarts platform. She gulped, this was it. Slowly she stepped forward and her parents accompenied her as she walked down the platform.

"Here goes," Evangeline called to Pippa. Her parents ran at the wall ahead of her showing her what to do. Taking a deep breath, Evangeline cast one last look at her new friend Pippa, who would follow her shortly. Pushing her trolley she ran at the wall, closing her eyes waiting for the impact, but it never came.

This. Was. Not. Okay.

The girl's hair was now a whitish-bluish-icky looking color - Ellie was still creeped out by the fact that it even changed at all - and now she was shaking. Horribly. And her eyes...didn't seem to be focusing.

And then....but...no. No. It was the Prefect's compartment. Kurumi, as Prefect, had much more of a right to be in there than Ellie did. But before she could object, the girl was gone.

Ellie felt terrible.

She had to apologize to Treyen for breaking his friend because even if he had been a jerk to the Gryffindor, she doubted he would like this very much. She grabbed Clio, grabbed her trunk and started off toward the Platform again. She will wait right there for the train, be the first one on it, and hopefully get to say something to the boy before the compartment got too crowded.
