Gina Latorta did some redecorating to the room... Boring old conference table... they were in England... they needed a round table! Like in Camelot!

With a levitating platter of fresh baked assorted cookies floating around in the room, and an assortment of coffees and teas, as well as cold drinks, Gina opened the newly decorated conference room and waited for people to come in.

Malachi stepped through the door of conference room and blinked several times. It looked great, very different but great. He folded his left arm around his slender frame. A new broom sweeps clean... He rubbed his right arm over his face and through his mop of already messy hair, wondering just how clean this new broom was intending to sweep the department.

And there she was. With a smile that belied his sense of unease he greated her, extending a slender hand for her to shake. "Hello, I'm Malachi Brown, Head of International Magical Law."

Violet being rather new herself was a little nervous to meet the new Department Head. She wondered how well they were going to get along. Well Vi never really had issues getting along with people but you never really know. So with great confidense Violet walked into the conferense room. She took a quick look around and noticed only two people who had arrived before she did. The woman was the Department Head for sure, so who was the man? Another employee for sure.

Violet quickly smooth all the wrinkles out of her black skirt and moved over to the two of them. "Hello I'm Violet Reed, Division Head for British Seats" She stuck her hand out for either of them to grab first it didn't really matter, but Vi was sure she didn't need to introduce herself the the Department Head, the woman probally already knew who she was, but it was still nice to let them know anyway.

J.J. Starr comes into the conference room. Yet another new department head to meet again. How Joe Jon Montcenaggio wished it would be him. J.J. will eventuslly be a department or divison head eventuslly hoprfully.

Helena walked into the conference room and smiled brightly at the woman that must be their new department head. There had been so many different department and division heads in the time that Helena had been working here, maybe this woman would be working here for good. "Hullo, I'm Helena Beaumont. British Seats, It's lovely to meet you, Ma'am." She put her hand out for the woman to shake. She looked around the conference room, and noticed that it looked very ... fancy and new. Helena liked it. It was nice, and looked like more conferencing could get done in here.

Cookies. There was supposed to be cookies. That was really the main reason Krel had cleared out an appointment to be here for the department meeting. Meetings were boring. Krel hated them. But cookies made everything better.

I just hope there’s some tea as well, she told herself.

She walked into the room. Sniff. Sniff. Ah! Tea! I’m saved. Perhaps this meeting wouldn’t be that bad after all.

Krel fought the urge to go start to the refreshment table and instead waited her turn to introduce herself. “Greetings,” she said with a smile and a handshake. “I’m Krel Ansell.”

Laura walked as in she got to know about the meeting which was going to be held in the Conference Room.
She had a hunhc it had to be about a new Head of the Department.
Merlin's Beard, so many changes she thought but she walked in with a smile and looked around to see how many of them were around and she found Helena and her Division Head already there.Smiling at them as they had her backs to her. They seemed to be talking to someone and as Laura walked ahead she realised that the new person would be their new Head.

Walking upto them Laura smiled and spoke
Hello, Ma'am i am Laura Thomas from British Seats Division she said and then turning to her collegues and Head of Division she spoke

Pippa had been headed in the general direction of the new Department Heads office, when she had overheard a conversation between two employees about a meeting in the conference room, so she had diverted herself in that general direction. Pushing open the door she smiled at the people inside, and took absoluely everything around her in. The room was so different. But it looked nice, and from the new woman she saw in the room, she presumed as the new Head, well she seemed nice aswell.

"Good morning Miss Latorta, that is how you pronounce it right? I looked at your office door, earlier." Pippa smiled, sticking her hand out for the woman to shake.

Magridal hair her hair down today and was wearing a dress with a high neckline, which his almost every trace of her tattoo except for the bits on her left cheek. There was never an telling what would offend someone new. She clicked down the hall to the meeting room on four-inch heels that she seemed to walk in as easily as she could have in flats. When she reached the conference room, she pushed the doors open and walked in to see that several people had already arrived, including her own Division Head.

Wordlessly--and seemingly emotionlessly--she made her way to the new Department Head and nodded respectfully, but did not offer her hand. "Madrigal Melokia," she said in a strong tone with a bit of an Islander accent. "Magical law under Malachi. Lovely to meet." Her tone of voice sounded sincere, but he expression never changed.

" Hello mam, I am Joe Jon Montcenaggio and work for the Internatinal Co-operation Dept." he told the new Division head. "Please call me J.J. Starr, everyone does" he told her.

I am partial to Italy, because I've lived there, but more than that... I think the history and beauty of Venice takes my breath away. I feel like I take a step back through history when I go there. There are no cars and it feels like you're in a different world. Not to mention, the mermaid population is amazing there. They are so nice and so helpful." She turned to her right and waited for the next person to speak.

Violet laughed with her new Department Head, she was very funny with her joke about the seats. Vi quickly grabbed a cookie and took a bite. "I also love the color violet, which seems a little cliche because it is my name as well. Well thank you for the cookies." She was little nervous now that she felt like she had babbled on and on about nothing. Vi decided to move to her seat. Viloet had to think hard about what country and city she liked the best. "I think I like New York City in the USA the best." Violet laughed when she realized that she had actually said that outloud "It's the big Apple, I love everything about it!" Violet smiled and listened to every one else's favorite places!

Hadley creeped into what he hoped was the conference room, he was new to the department and had no idea where he was. He also had a terrible feeling he was late as everyone else was sitting down. But he decided to give up on sneaking and said, "hello, sorry i'm late Mrs Latorta ,i'm Hadley Black, i work in International Magical Trading Standards Body" his nerves were so very clear in his voice, but he hoped no one would notice

Ay no, Di was totally late. Yeah, she was kinda busy. Em calling her each hour was a total nightmare to the woman. Taking a glance towards the inside of the conference room, she was amazed of the round table. Whee, she loved that, a lot because it gave everyone a chance to see each other's faces and do their own opinion about a matter. Like the good old days, kinda.

And obviously, the meeting had already started. Grinning wide and mouthing a "Welcome...and sorry for being late" to her new Department Boss, Mrs. Latorta she started listening to what they were saying. Maybe, she'd speak after a couple of people. Still, it was sometimes embarrassing to arrive late to a meeting of this matter.

Malachi nodded. "Great to meet you too. Yeah my mother chose my name, it means 'my angel' apparently. I'm really enjoying the job." It wasn't what he had trained for but then life didn't always have you walk the path you had in mind. "I'm looking forward to my future in the department." Malachi sat down and took a cookie. 'Mmmmm! This is good!' He grinned, thinking that the meeting had certainly started on a positive note.

Malachi waited his turn. "For me, it has to be London. This city is just packed with diversity, both magical and muggle." He pushed his hair out of his eyes again. "There's always something to do and see, something to experience." He looked expectantly at the next person, curious to hear what they would say.

Pippa smiled softly and nodded, "Yes, that's me, Pippa Norcott, sorry... I dont usually not introduce myself, so much going on, forgive me Mi-- Gina." She corrected herself at the last second, and just continued smiling.

"Oooh, cookies!" She chuckled, and took two, before taking a seat near Malachi, and wrapping one cookie up in a napkin, Rory could have that later on, of course.

Listening to both Gina and Malachi, Pippa took it upon herself to speak next. "Well, for me, it has to be Greece, I cant specifically wittle it down to a certain city, but I worked out there for a while, voluntary, and the buzz from people is just... out of this world. Everyone seems to just take people under their wings, much like working here. The weather just happens to be nicer in Greece." She laughed at her last point, and nodded offering the next point of speech to someone else there.

Hadley decided to take his turn now "For me its Ireland, specifically Donegal, its in the north but is technically the south, if that makes any sense haha, but its the whole republic or ireland, the beautiful countryside with rolling green hills, beautiful lacks and cliffs and mountains. The people are also so very kinda and helpful and are willing to do anything to make you welcome. O and there is the quiddicth team one if not the best in the world. There is also a massive variety of magical animals , merrows or merpeople, porlocks, Aethonans, and the most well known of all Leprechauns. I grew up there and when we moved to London we spent every Holliday there with my mothers Irish family. For all these reasons i love ireland so very much, thank you for listening, sorry if i went on a bit, one final point while the weather is not as 'nice' to some people as it is not as sunny as italy or greece i've always love the rain, nothing in the world will ever beat ridding or a broom in the poring rain with me grandfather, dad and sister, my mums not very good on a broom neither my nan " hadley knew he had spoken for a long time and also shared a lot, that memory of flying with his grandfather is his most dear, as not long after that he passed away, and while recounting it he had a tear in his eye and voice started to wobble and it took all his effort not to break down then and their

Laura listened to her and then others and their favorite places...
well,for me it always has been London and next is India, i really like Mumbai.Its a wonderful place all lively and colorful she said speaking of her visit there which had left her spell bound and since then she always had a soft corner for that place.
And it is for the very fact that both the cities are truly, truly diverse and the people warm and welcoming she said
And no doubt both of them have their own historic heritages which is just wonderful she continued...

Gina, I love Italy, The USA, Spain and England" J.J. Starr told her. " My favorite is the USA where I had been born and I am from the USA" Joe Jon Montcenaggio told Gina. "Any other countries you like?" J.J. asked Gina.

Helena smiled as the older woman complimented her name, Giggling a little bit, Helena shook her head, "Oh, thank you. Though, I'd disagree with you on that... Probably only because I wouldn't want to sound egotistical." With a little grin, she took a cookie off the woman, "thank you for these." She said to her simply, and then went to find a seat.

When all the greetings were done, Helena looked over to their new boss. Gina, did she say she was called to Laura? Yes... Gina. That was it. Pretty name. Helena smiled at the woman's enthusiasm, she was going to be an AMAZING Department head!

Listening to Gina speak, Helena was amazed at what the woman said about Venice... It'd never occured to her about the merpopulation that was bound to be there! When she'd finished talking, Helena listened to the other people from the different devisions talk.

When it got to her, Helena smiled shyly. Talking in front of people wasn't something she was brilliant at, which would be the reason why she didn't fancy taking up a Devision Head job any time soon. "Well, I'd have to say that England is the country that facinates me the most. It's my favourite country because of the history that's here; both Muggle and Magical, The stories and legends and facts go back so far in history... Reading and learning about the different events is something I could never get bored of. It's just such a diverse country, coming to work in London everyday from the countryside in the Peninnes is just fantastic. The changes in the atmosphere and the energy is beautiful. You wouldn't believe that two places so different could reside on such a teeny island." Helena paused for a moment before carrying on, She didn't care that she was talking relatively quietly, Gina was sat close enough to her to hear. "This summer will mark the sixteenth year that I've lived in England, and not once have I ever regretted moving to this side of the channel."

"Well, I'd have to say that England is the country that facinates me the most. It's my favourite country because of the history that's here; both Muggle and Magical, The stories and legends and facts go back so far in history... Reading and learning about the different events is something I could never get bored of. It's just such a diverse country, coming to work in London everyday from the countryside in the Peninnes is just fantastic. The changes in the atmosphere and the energy is beautiful. You wouldn't believe that two places so different could reside on such a teeny island." Helena paused for a moment before carrying on, She didn't care that she was talking relatively quietly, Gina was sat close enough to her to hear. "This summer will mark the sixteenth year that I've lived in England, and not once have I ever regretted moving to this side of the channel."

"England is indeed wonderful. The flora is gorgeous here too..." She said and smiled.

"Now, here's a game that will allow me to figure out more about you. I wish for you to tell me two truths and one lie. And I will guess which is the lie." She said.

"It's very nice to meet you, Gina." Though Diana wasn't sure that she could call her boss by her first name. It felt kind of impolite to her.

My favourite city. Well, she had many, but she couldn't deny she had one that stood up above those all. "In Mexico, the country from where I come from there is a small town called Cadereyta. It's the most quietest, traditional place I could have ever been in my life. There is no trafic, you can walk around the place like there is nothing bothering you and the people, just...amazing." And why not, she knew the whole town like the palm of her hand. After all, she had lived there with her grandmother for more than three years.

"I guess that what I like...is that it keeps the esence of the past. The old days like the twentieth century, the calm..." And that was her explanation. Now she really wanted to go back to Cadereyta.

Helena listened to Gina as she went around everyone, making the occasional giggle at something. Like Greeks sliding around on their birthdays. Hehe. Two truths and a lie... Right.

"Well... I suppose I'll go first..." Helena spoke up, "I'm actually from Bordeaux, in France... I have Four children; One girl and three boys... And... I've never been inside Hogwarts..." Helena smiled at Gina to indicate that those were her three.

Hehe. But which one was a LIE?! Hehe.
