Default St. Oswald's Home

Located in the village of Upper Flagley, Yorkshire, inhabited by both Muggle and magic folk, is St. Oswald's Home for Old Witches and Wizards. This institution serves as a wizarding nursing home for the elderly, providing a small community within an already co-exisiting community. Residents here are given the opportunity to live comfortably and enjoy their own daily routine with the confidence of safety and support through assisted living and, for seniors with able bodies and minds, independent living. Them having to do magic for a reason is a thing of the past.

St. Oswald's Home boasts about its friendly, light-hearted atmosphere. This is primarily because of the residents who keep the nurses on their toes, all in good fun of course. It is not an uncommon sight to see zimmer frames being conjured into life, knitting wool being enchanted into chaos, and the nurses -- the male ones in particular -- being made to dance the tango. Naturally, the nurses are all good sports about it.

Other than teasing the nurses, the residents take pride in personalizing their living spaces, sharing meals in the community dining room, playing traditional wizarding games and listening to oldies music on the wireless in the living room, spending hours reading in the attached conservatory, gardening on the grounds, and making use of the facility's fitness room and infinity pool. Here great memories and many friendships are made.
