Junior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic

With the recent hire of our new Minister for Magic, the Minister's Ofice is now hiring a Junior Undersecretary to work alongside our Senior Undersecretary, January Bones, and our Minister, Charles Hollingberry.

The Junior Undersecretary is an integral part of the Minister's Office and helps the department as a whole run smoothly. If hired, you will be assisting the Senior Undersecretary in coordinating and communicating with liaisons from each and every department. You will attend meetings of most importance and assist in the bettering of the department and the Ministry as a whole. The position also includes the overseeing of the Job Task Board and assisting Level One employees with any task they may require your assistance in.

While this is not a position for the faint of heart, we encourage all to apply. A great personality can sometimes win over a perfect résumé.

Feeling Drained and Stressed Out? We have the thing for you!

The Department of Magical Games and Sports have been working to implement a new Wellness Plan for all employees of the Ministry of Magic. This will help improve health and fitness throughout the building.

Each employee will be receiving a step counter courtesy of Landon's Fitness, Quality Quidditch Supplies, and St. Mungo's. Employees will also be given a packet of up and coming activities that these same sponsors are helping get off the ground, including some fitness classes, healthier food options, and a Ministry-wide health screening.

The Ministry does already have a few things in place with the fitness room available to all employees on level seven, health and care unit in the Atrium, and the relaxation pods located in the Atrium as well. Employees can look forward to more additions soon.

With this Wellness Plan, your Ministry department heads are hoping to create a happier and healthier environment.

ZUMBA

Level Seven would like to invite all ministry employees to participate in a Zumba class on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. Zumba is a dance form of exercise. Come and enjoy music and fun with friends as you boost your overall fitness and health.

Welcome back level seven!

Upcoming Planning:

We have a busy few months ahead of us. Thank you, Lucas and the Quidditch Division for keeping things going with the Quidditch teams during our holiday.
Now that we are back it is all divisions on deck to get things moving and ready for the World Cup that we will be hosting this summer.

Things that need done:

• Make sure all contracts have been given to Players playing for England
• Make sure all stadiums have their release forms that will be hosting some of the qualifying matches
• Get sponsorship contracts finalized with the different companies (Quality Quidditch Supplies for example)
• Make sure all equipment has been inspected
• Make sure all ticket sales are going smoothly
• Contact the foreign teams make sure lodging is set and reservations have been made
• Make sure we have all our healers set to be at matches
• Check with MLE for security
• Check with A&C for added charms
• Check with transportation that all port key locations are set and floo networks are open

Things not Quidditch related:

Gobbstones:

• Go over all contracts and make sure they are finalized before the season
  Trade starts this month, be ready with team contacts
  Make sure all arena are ready for the season

Recreational:

• Contact winged horse owners, an update in all rules and contracts need to be done
  Youth Quidditch and Quodpot registration will be opening soon.
  Start a PR on the new muggle sports available
  Set up a ministry recreational league as part of the Wellness Plan

Niffler Yoga will be coming in the next few months, we will need all help getting the area ready for this.

Quidditch World Cup Meeting

There will be a combined department meeting on level 5 in the Adult Classroom. Please make sure you are in attendance. It is very important that all of level seven knows what's going on and to be prepared to help out no matter what your division is.

Who: all of the wizarding public
OOC: we encourage you to play your Ministry characters at this event but you are by no means limited to them! Play as many characters as you wish! Simply distinguish them all with different font colors and/or fonts, please.
Where: the Atrium at the Ministry of Magic
Why: to ring in the new century and start of a new working year at the Ministry of Magic through a formal fundraising event!
