Charles Hollingberry EraAll historical records pertaining to Ministry of Magic RPG under Minister for Magic, Charles Hollingberry [IC March 2097 - present; OOC November 2018 - present]
Are you an employee or just a visiting guest here at the British Ministry of Magic? Do you consider yourself a personal fan of the Ministry and the teachings of Gellert Grindelwald? Do you sometimes wish you had memorabilia with the Ministry's logo and Sign of the Deathly Hallows all over it? Well, look no further! Furnished in dark woods and gold, the shelves are stocked with items that are sure to grab your interest. Pens, pads, and bags, of course, adorn the front shelves, all sporting the Ministry logo and Sign of the Deathly Hallow...but then there are also hats, bracelets, t-shirts and jumpers (monogrammed for the Ministry, as well). The back shelves of the shop are comprised of additional merchandise, miscellaneous items stacked neatly in place. Tapestries are available for purchase as well and adorn the walls along either side of the shop, alternating between the Sign of the Deathly Hallows and Gellert Grindelwald himself. Looking for a last minute gift for a friend? Gift cards for your favorite shops? Coupons for unusual items from those favorite shops? An appealing toy to bribe your child with so that they'll behave during your visit? We hope we can meet all your product needs!

"Hello Anya, nice to meet you at this oh so not serious time" But seems she chose an extra-large one also. Great minds think alike or something like that.
"Both look nice wish they made more colorful options"
Angelica had no idea how they kept people out of different departments besides maybe badges or magic. But even then it seemed farfetched
"You should come by sometime to see the pool..since nothing else in the department is really cant miss"
Would be nice but yeah rules would have to be followed
Okay but you gotta admit it, Angelica, it was a good joke. A great one. Anya also believed that if nobody found your joke funny, then laugh about your joke. It makes things extra funny. And it would also kind of mask the fact that people don't like your joke, but she was never the serious type. She didn't take that one seriously. She was here for a good time. "Nice to meet you too, insert-name-here." Hint. It was your turn for a joke, Angelica. Hint.
"There might be some coloured options but if not, it's nothing a charm couldn't fix!" Anya replied. Though she was a witch, she quite preferred muggle means to accomplish things. So if she ever needed to colour any of her plain white shirts, she would love to do a DIY tie-dye experiment. Wouldn't that be fun.
It was a shame Anya had stopped competitively swimming. She would have enjoyed a lap or two if she were allowed. "Only if it doesn't get you into trouble." Otherwise, a trip to level 3 was now part of her Ministry to-do list. A bucket list seemed more accurate though.

She could admit that since she was laughing even if it was a horrible horrible good joke on the level of dad jokes everywhere. Now she had to come up with something witty which was not her strong suit and look at that she failed but she had something.
"Ms. Laughing too much at Jokes. It has been a pleasure"
Its the height of lazy where Angelica would rather just buy a shirt in the colors she wanted instead of just using a simple charm with just required her wand. "I know but laziness is sure one hell of a motivator to buy it in the colors you want it to be already" That being said she would like to see the shirt in rainbow.
She had to think about that since she doubted she would get in trouble at all. And it would be nice. She shook her head. "I think it would be fine if we went together. Only way i get in trouble is if i leave you in the room" Sound logic from her. Most be one of her good days then. She never makes this much sense.

Anya decided she would make a good dad. A+ dad jokes. What other requirements were there to become a good dad?
Ah, well. The effort was greatly appreciated, and Anya responded by laughing a bit more. "A for effort....and Angelica." Because her name started with a letter A too. "And Anya." Pause. "Double A." Another pause. "Like a battery." Anya Gonzales, the joking mistress, was on a roll today, folks.
But also? Laziness was an acceptable reason. Anya would agree so too. Sometimes, she'd even forget that she was a witch herself because her family was of Muggle blood. Her muggle-born status had came to a surprise to everyone, and it shouldn't come as a surprise too that she was more accustomed to muggle ways. "Well then, we can drop that in a suggestion box instead." Did they even have a suggestion box in here?
"I like company. That works perfectly well with me." Anya didn't want Angelica to get into trouble with her boss either. "So this is settled then, yeah?" Just making sure Angelica was on board with this.

Tatiana had been here for a year now and still hadn't visited the gift shop. She didn't really need anything with the ministry logo on it, but it was... always nice to have pens? Or maybe just know what was available.
If she was being completely honest, she was bored and looking to burn time. She wandered up an aisle before picking up a pen and having a look at it.

Rod's birthday was coming up and Yassi was at a loss for what to buy for him. Gifts were never her strong suit, but she usually found it within herself to manage. It was usually much easier to do when not out on the hunt. Stumbling upon a gift was far easier than scouting one out. As it was, however, her time was running short. A couple of days kind of short, to be exact.
Fortunately she had some time to spare after work, and opted to stop by the giftshop before she headed out for the day. It was almost too easy! It was a wonder that she hadn't thought about it before. She shook her head, laughing at herself under her breath as she made her way inside. She hadn't ever come in here before, actually, and there was quite a lot to take in. Perhaps she would start by the stationary sets? She started walking in that direction. Or no, the mugs.
Rod enjoyed his morning (and afternoon and evening) tea. Mugs would be a good place to start, she decided as she suddenly turned to walk towards that corner instead. Hm. They had quite a number of options. She scanned the available designs, picking up one of the more delicate ones and turning it around in her hands. Did he already have too many mugs?

The gift shop was an establishment that she always avoided to the best of her ability. As much as she genuinely enjoyed working for the Ministry, she despised the very idea of such a place. It almost reeked of glorified cheesiness and overpriced goods that was only there to get more money out of people. It was enough to make her want to puke.
But desperate times called for desperate measures, right? It was for this reason that Zhuó Xiá, still in her security robes, marched into the gift shop, a look of forced confidence on her face. She didn't care for any looks she was getting, but there was no hiding the foul stench that followed her wherever she went. An unmistakable stench of animal faeces.
She paused, casting an eye around the store, before marching towards the section with mugs and bowls. There was another woman already there but she had bigger things to worry about than a stranger's perceived notion of her. It was for this very reason that she launched straight into a question and not useless idle chatter.
"Ma'am? Do you know how strong these bowls are?" Strong enough to sustain faeces from large animals, possibly?

Maybe he would rather receive one less dainty than this? She wondered, pulling another mug off the shelf. This one was one of those with a cheesy phrase and a lazy graphic to match it. It was exactly the kind of gift he would enjoy. She held the two mugs side by side. If only Paria were here to help her with the decision. She was much better at this.
Her head was so wrapped up in her musings that she hadn't noticed that someone had joined her, nor had she noticed the stench. The abrupt question startled her, almost causing her to fling the two mugs out of her hands and onto the floor where they would have surely shattered into tiny pieces ill fit for a birthday present. Fortunately, her hands simply jerked upwards.
Slightly embarrassed, Yassi laughed at herself. "Sorry! I don't usually startle that easily," she hurriedly explained. She tilted her head, furrowing her brows as she considered the question. "I'm not sure," she answered honestly, taking a step forward and placing the mugs back onto the shelf and instead reaching for one of the bowls now. "For what do you need them?" She tapped against the bottom of the bowl with her fingernails. It felt sturdy enough, but that depended on their purpose, she supposed. The smell did not go unnoticed, but Yassi knew better than to say anything. She tried not to make a face.
