| | Coral Garden
Whether you followed the serene sound of a merperson's song or just wandered into this place because it was your only other option, you’ve now come into the mesmerising and expansive coral gardens. This is a coral paradise where the ever changing marine flora and fauna thrive and prosper all year round.
Throughout the garden small coral coated benches along with comfy sea spoinge benches have been laid out should you grow weary after a long swim or wish to sit down to maybe, just maybe, see a lobalug or other fishy friend.
You are asked not to pick or take anything in the garden back to the living quarters so as to not disrupt the balance of this lovely place. Remember to be on your best behaviour since the chieftainess and her guard are known to take a swim through the coral gardens, and you don’t want your blissful swim to turn into something unpleasant.

| Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict It hadn’t taken much to convince Skye to seriously consider the potion that had been provided for the hostages had they felt inclined to explore. Because hostages they were, and yet she hardly felt like moping around with the others in the living quarters that had been provided for them. Things could have been worse, after all. She rather imagined there actually was a sort of prison somewhere amongst the various places that made up Atlantis now that they were experiencing it properly. They could have been there, after all. The merpeople obviously felt their counterparts had stolen something from them and that holding the dozen of them as hostages would foment the return of aid item or items. Thinking about it, she wondered if the trident and shell had caused all this.
Either way, she’d drank the potion and found herself swimming out to the coral gardens, with the intent of trying to at least get a better sense of her surroundings. Not, by the way, to test TiaMarie’s idea of charming a merman. She was single, but she preferred getting to see sunlight and breathe fresh air. Although, she couldn’t deny the potion was rather intriguing. If just because she much rather would prefer not staying still while the Ministry hopefully was trying to rescue them.

He drifted over toward the other hostage, whose name he couldn't quite place, but not so close as to disturb her. Maybe she, too, needed a break from everyone around them. It was hard to have a private moment to yourself in these living conditions.
He would have sighed, but silly little bubbles would just come out. Probably. David drifted down to inspect one of the coral benches instead. One thing he couldn't fault the merpeople for was their clever use of the resources here. |

| Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict It hadn’t come as a surprise that she’d ended up being joined by one of the other hostages. Skye was rather surprised the others hadn’t tried to do any exploring as it was while they were down there. It wasn’t as if they had anything else to do. Staying alive, not angering the merpeople who were holding them hostage. She still found it a bit of a relief that they had at least been given relatively comfortable accommodations. It really could have been so much worse.
Aside from the whole matter of not being able to breathe fresh air, it was almost like a vacation. A very strange and awkward vacation that they’d had little control in the decision to take. Plus, she still worried over what was going on with her family, if they knew what was going on and all.
She’d thought about breaking the silence, but there was the question of if they could even speak out here in the coral garden. There was every possibility that she’d drown, even with the potion in her system, if she opened her mouth. Maybe. Constant vigilance was harder when she didn’t know all the rules.
