In a department this busy, not everything can be passed on in person. That's what this board is for. Be sure to stop by with some amount of frequency to ensure you're caught up on everything happening not only within the department but out in the wizarding world. Cases will occasionally appear here. Meeting notices, wanted posters, suspicious activity and tips.

NOTICE:

General meeting in the conference room. Get there on time, none of us has time to waste. Come with updates. We've got a few housekeeping matters to sort out and work through. That's all.

Meeting starts at 10 am. That's enough cushioning room. Those on special assignments are obviously exempt but a partner has to attend for the briefing if they can be spared.

REMINDERS

Cases currently being worked on:

YATI - Special training. All YATI should report to the interrogation room for a special training being conducted there. Adequately prepare for the training, read up what you can, ask questions if you must. Be there at 12 pm sharp once your morning tasks are done at the training facility.

Hit Wizards - The sharp rise in break ins within the Chudleigh area need to be addressed. Conduct interviews, gather evidence alongside the forensics team. Should the need arise, any Auror not actively working on a case should assist.

IUOM Division - Locate and apprehend the vendor over in Diagon Alley who has been reported to be passing off false artifacts as the real deal. His exact location is not known so a bit of investigation and interrogation will need to be done. Again, any Aurors or Hit Wizards that can be spared, please lend a hand.

Security: Ramp up patrols around the ministry. Hit different levels as needed.

OOC: Just some things for you and your charries to jump on if you’re interested. There’s a lot of crossover here so feel free to say your character is working on whatever. Also, feel free to actually go about doing these things! Stop by Diagon Alley, do some evidence logging on the Chudleigh case, stop by to give updates on the cases, whatever works for you!

We're gonna be running a group exercise over in the exercise room. No, this doesn't mean sitting on the mats and having a kumbaya session, I mean actual exercise. Get your gear, grab your water and turn up if you don't otherwise have pressing matters to attend to. Consider this strength training, the kind I can be sure some of you are actually doing.

URGENT NOTICE
FROM THE MINISTER FOR MAGIC

With the reports from the Department of Environmental Regulation and Protection bringing new light to the Hogwarts situation. We have confirmation that this is no weather phenomenon, there are no toxins in the air, and that we are dealing with physical entity (possibly shapeshifting in nature) that has very real responses to magical stimulation.

The time has come for a second attempt to breach Hogwarts' walls, this join by join effort from the Departments of Magical Law Enforcement, Magical Accidents & Catastrophes, and the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. Debriefing documents have been distributed among the levels an further instruction will come from your respective department heads. This mission is ranked DANGEROUS and has three objectives:

NOTICE:

The increasing inefficiencies and general unease within the ministry is something Law Enforcement can no longer ignore. There will be a meeting to begin the work day tomorrow. 8 a.m. in the conference room. Anyone late will be given reason to be as busy as you must obviously have been to miss the time.

There's a few things to discuss, but you should also come with any updates that need to be addressed.

ATTENTION!!

This is an emergency announcement. There has been a breech at Azkaban. Drop all non essential tasks, we’ll be heading over there immediately. No reckless behaviour, we need damage control. We’ll also need to put forth an apprehension effort for those who have already escaped.

Patrols will be doubled—tripled until they’ve all been recaptured.

Further briefing will take place as we head over.

OOC: There’s been a prison break in the Azkaban thread Have your charries head over. Assume they’ve been briefed. The gist of this briefing being some dead, some escaped, the place in chaos, no immediate suspects or leads. Soon, some escapees will appear around DA and London, when that happens, feel free to have your charries on that as well!!!
