 Displayed in the corridor between the main offices and the conference room are two noticeboards where important information will be posted for employees. All Accidents and Catastrophes employees are required to keep up to date with announcements here about Level 3 or the Ministry as a whole. One noticeboard contains a copy of the latest memos sent out to employees, sometimes a nice note of appreciation from your Department Head and a list of important contacts in the Ministry that she may question you on at any random point. The other noticeboard contains a photo board detailing all of the staff on this level – Eliora believes you should know the faces you are working with daily – and a level-wide ‘to-do’ list which you can sign yourself up for.
You will notice that Ms. Eliora Dodderidge, Department Head of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, can be sentimental and either side of the noticeboard in a frame is an announcement each from former Department Heads Aron Ashburry-Hawthorne and Maddox Quigley. Both have their signatures on, with the friendly addition of a love heart. If you had looked close enough to the staff photo board, you would have seen the heart next to a certain Head Obliviator’s name, too. Love you always, Rustin Killick.
OOC: This thread is intended for important messages from your Department Head and other Ministry Officials. It is not locked, but you should not post here without permission, and it is also not a place to RP. Should you want to RP reading notices (something I might crash) then you can do so in another thread around the department. Be sure to check this thread regularly (personally, I like to subscribe) to keep up to date with the information available, both IC and OOC.

It's time for a new year and a new start in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes. New management brings a new requirement: always ensure your Department Head has a backlog of coffee to drink. The holidays are over and it's time to get back to the grind. Paperwork that was not submitted to Maddox before the break is required on my desk within the week. Failure to do so will result in a disciplinary action. Don't make me do this.
I, or your supervisor, will meet with you this week to catch up on the assignments you are still working on or to set you a new one. Please be prepared to update your employee file at this meeting, should it be out of date.

But she would definitely have those meetings with everyone. Throw your characters at her for definite! Or throw them somewhere else and maybe she'll crash.

URGENT NOTICE
FROM THE MINISTER FOR MAGIC
With the reports from the Department of Environmental Regulation and Protection bringing new light to the Hogwarts situation. We have confirmation that this is no weather phenomenon, there are no toxins in the air, and that we are dealing with physical entity (possibly shapeshifting in nature) that has very real responses to magical stimulation.
The time has come for a second attempt to breach Hogwarts' walls, this join by join effort from the Departments of Magical Law Enforcement, Magical Accidents & Catastrophes, and the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. Debriefing documents have been distributed among the levels an further instruction will come from your respective department heads. This mission is ranked DANGEROUS and has three objectives:

..............this event is set on January 11, 2104 - the SAME day as the Dragon Reservation field trip.
..............All Creatures employees would have been ordered to fall back and return to the Ministry for this mandatory event

Dearest Accidents and Catastrophes employees,
New year, new start, same boss! This is your yearly reminder to make sure all paperwork is in order - this can be submitted to me if it is not. There have been a few changes here at the Ministry of Magic, but I'm sure you will all join me in keeping this department's work going as smoothly as possible. None of us wants a difficult time on Level 3, so best fall in line, lickety-split.

Remember to keep hot coffee and fresh pastries to hand for this eventuality - nobody likes a stale croissant.
