P.S. What's wrong with making icons of the whole movie?

On Saturday, July 13, 2013, we lost a very talented and special young man who will truly be missed. Cory Monteith was most well known for his role as Finn Hudson in the TV hit Glee, where his incredible talents for singing, dancing, acting and being ridiculously adorable shone through with every episode. He was and is loved by so many across the world and many people will really miss him.

I thought a little grab bag in memory of Cory seemed appropriate, so I hope you enjoy a few of these in celebration of his short, but wonderful life.

#1 guilty pleasure: TEEN DRAMA TV SHOWS

I swear, I try to watch so many different TV shows, but the ones I always come back to are the silly teen dramas like The Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf, The OC (yes I still love it)... If I had Netflix, I would never do anything with my life except watch teen dramas. Sad, but true.

This grab bag is from Teen Wolf, season 2: episode 9. This was actually the first episode of this show I saw, about a year ago, but I finally caved and decided to start watching it... two weeks ago. And here I am. :|

Yooooooo, who's stoked for the next Hunger Games movie?!?! ME! Catching Fire was my favorite book in the trilogy and since they did pretty darn good making The Hunger Games, I have high hopes for the next one, too.

I made these from the most recent trailer. These icons were SOOOO hard to keep under the 20KB limit. Ugh, they looked so much better in Photoshop. I had to save half of them as GIFs and that reduced the quality so much and they're grainy ugh cries ;___;

If anybody has some magical way of avoiding this crisis, share your ways with me before I drown in my tears.

Oh my lanta. OH MY GOSH. None of you understand how much I love this movie. The cast, the acting, the cinematography, HOLY COW. The looks that Kirk and Spock give to each other and their banter literally cracks me up. Spock is hilarious. And the LENS FLARES. AGH. I feel like if I try to continue explaining what makes this movie perfect, I'll just end up blubbering even more nonsense than I already am.

Star Trek Into Darkness got me into watching the original Star Trek series, which, by the way, is also fantastic. There may be no lens flares, but it's quality. Also hilarious and wonderful.

Also, it's seriously impossible to get a good shot of Bones. He's always making weird faces, so I'm sorry for the lack of him here. (PS: DID YOU KNOW KARL URBAN (Bones/Dr. McCoy) IS IN LORD OF THE RINGS BECAUSE I JUST FOUND OUT. DR. MCCOY = EOMER = MIND BLOWN)
