You could simply switch on the "Show voters" option when the poll is being created, so that everyone can see who voted for what. That way people wont be tempted to vote for their own entries, because it'll be so embarrassing... having people know you voted for your own stuff!
And I can't WAIT to see the entries! Banner challenges are so awesome!

But Nabs, some people could get a bit testy with others because they simply "didn't vote for their graphic" I think that the idea of telling people not to vote for their own and leaving the rest upto the admins will probably be best. I hope you see what i mean

I believe as long as the rules are clearly stated that people must not vote for their own graphics that everything should be fine. Everyone can clearly understand the rules at this point, I would hope.

People would want to stick with anonymity/privacy to voting which we can give em, but yeah if people won't stop voting for their icons, we'll switch it on

I had a hard time deciding which one to vote for, also. These are so good, it's hard to vote for just one, but there was one that stood out for me more than any other. (No, I won't tell you!)
