It was one of those lazy hours by the lake. Harry was laughing at Ginny's joke, and suddenly he couldn't take it. He just wanted to spend forever with her, run through meadows, eat ice creams at sunset. He rolled over closer to her.

"You know I want to live forever with you," he said seriously. Ginny smiled, a smile that shone as brightly as the sun overhead.

"You know I know," she answered. Harry looked her in the eyes.

"Hours are running out. I won't be able to spend every second with you," he said.

"Time is what matters."

He was already imagining his father's Howler that would surely come in a few hours, as soon as he heard his son had been insulted and hadn't defended himself.
His father would not be pleased when he hears.

She dressed differently, talked about Heliopaths, Wrackspurts and Nargles. People loved hiding her shoes and called her loony. But that never stopped her from being who she was. The brilliant Ravenclaw girl.

Together both boy and girl were members of Dumbledore's Army. Together they stood side by side with Harry, Ron and Hermione in the battle at the Department of Mysteries.

They were Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood. Hogwart's unsung heroes.

"Champions," McGonagall says, and the boy and the girl go out to the floor and dance. The girl smiles and the boy spins her. The darkness outside is not noticed by the two, too involved with the noise and the food and the dancing.
"Do you want to continue dancing, Herm-own-ninny?" says the boy.
"Of course, Viktor," says the girl. So they dance.

And the next day the girl walks with her friends.

"You can count on me," Remus said, but she just pushed him away.

"How do I know?" she asked.
