Hello again!!! This is Jess and Lily! This is Jess's 4th Fanfiction and Lily's 2nd! Please read and review! Oh and check out our other stories too!

From Chapter 8 - Chapter 10 Jess will be writing only.

Chapter 1

I looked out my window into the dark clouds above. The dark mark is placed in between the two clouds that stand out the most. Those two clouds remind me of my mother and the one I love the most....

"Draco! Get down here now! We have caught another mudblood! It's your turn to torture the piece of filth!" Lucius Malfoy yelled.

I sighed but grabbed my wand off of the old, rotten desk and prepared myself for a very long night.

"Harry! Have you seen Hermione?" I shouted panting like crazy.

"No I haven't, calm down mate! Maybe she is with Ginny in Diagon Alley." Harry said.

I nodded and sat down on the couch.

"Look at this!" Harry said.

"What is it Harry?" I asked looking at the newspaper.

"Look there's the dark mark over the Malfoy Manor!" Harry said.

"So? They usually always have it over there. It would be a suprise if I didn't see it over there anymore. Don't worry about it mate. They are probably just having a big deatheater meeting or something." I said eating some crackers I found on the side of the couch.

Harry's eyes bulged and I dropped the old stale crackers. I finally understood that what I said could actually be happening, but who was the victim?

"Ron that's just... not right." I said with a look of discust.

Ron's Chudley Canons door opened revealing a very worried looking Ginny Weasley. She looked around and when she saw us she tried to run. I caught her arm before she could though.

"Gin, what's up?" I asked patting her on the shoulder.

"Oh Harry, it's h-horrible!" she sobbed.

I took her in my arms. I knew it was wrong, I mean, we're just friends, but I can't help thinking we could be more...

"T-they took 'M-mione!" she sobbed into my shirt.

"What?" Ron screamed.

"W-we w-were i-in H-hogsmeade a-and d-dementors a-and d-deatheaters!"

"What?!" screamed Ron again jumping up all of a sudden.

Ginny looked down and saw the prophet. She wriggled out of my arms.

Grabbed the prophet and it read:

THE DARK MARK! Once again the dark mark is arise just over Malfoy Manor. A few aurors around the location have heard screaches. The word Crucio was heard in a shaky voice more than once. Auror's have guessed that Lucius Malfoy and his underage son, Draco Malfoy are behind this. Head auror, Kingsley Shattlebolt, is convinced that the victim is a Hogwarts pupil. Story continued on page 4-8

Ginny's eyes jumped out her sockets and she screamed in horror!

"That's it if my best friend is going down I'm going down with her!" she bellowed running out of the portrait hole of Ron's bedroom.

Her tear stained face now had a blazing look on it.

Chapter 2

Harry's POV

Me and Ron looked at each other for a minute that scrambled to our feet. Panick scratched my insides. Ginny was not going to go! No! To many people have died because of me but I was not going to let her die! Me and Ron ran out of his room. And mind you, just in time to see her in the chimney with emerald flames wrapping around her but not burning her tender skin.

"Shoot!" muttered Ron as Ginny spinned.

Her face showing fear, braveness and confusion.

"We've got to go after her!" My heart racing.

Ginny's image still fresh in my mind.

Draco's POV

"Cruico!" I yelled shaking.

Another scream pierced my ears.

"Draco! Now clean her up while we go talk to the dark lord!" Lucius Malfoy called.

Draco nodded and walked over to her.

"Why? Why are you doing this?" She asked.

"Because..because you are a filthy mudblood." He said wincing at the name.

"I hate you Draco Malfoy. I don't think you have a single nice bone in your body! No one will love you! You are too mean." She said crying.

Draco felt a tear fall down his cheek and he wiped it off quickly.

"Don't talk to me in that way you piece of filth!" Draco said sternly.

"How could you...Draco?" She said before falling into a sleep of unconciousness.

I looked down at the person I loved. Miss Hermione Granger. Her body was full of bruises and cuts. She still looked beautiful as always. She had dry blood in her bushy hair and face.

"Twinkles!" I called.

The short elf bowed and said, "Yes master."

"I need you to take Miss Granger to the Burrow. Do not tell anyone about this. I will handle my father." I said curtly.

"Yes sir." The elf bowed again.

Right before they could leave though the Weasley girl popped right in front of me.

"Twinkles take Miss Weasley too." I said groaning.

Before Weasley could say anything she apparated with Hermione and Twinkles back to the Burrow.

Chapter 3

Harry's POV

Just then there was a crack. Ginny and a very worn-out Hermione and a very bony, house-elf. Hermione fell to the floor her whole body shaking in pain. Ginny crawled over to her friend as the elf disapperated.

"Are you okay 'Mione?" Ginny asked with a terrified expression.

"I can't believe you came to me!" Hermione said with tears in her eyes.

"What are friends for?" Ginny hugged her best-friend.

I looked over at Ron and saw in his eyes right now he wished that he was Ginny.

And I wished that I was Hermione...


Ron's POV

Hermione? Ginny? They are back! No!! Why does Hermione look like that?

"What are friends for?" Ginny hugged her best friend.

Oh how I wish I was Ginny at this moment.

"Umm, hey Ginny mum wants you and Harry to go help clean up for dinner." Ron said.

Harry gave me a confused face but went to my mother and so did Ginny.

I walked over to Hermione and looked into her eyes. Those big chocolatey brown eyes. I picked her up and layed her down on the couch.

"I missed you so much 'Mione." I said looking down.

"I missed you too Ron. The only person I thought of was you..oh and of course Harry and Ginny." Hermione stuttered.

I smiled and thought there might be hope telling her that I like her. I looked up and she smiled at me.

"We better get ready for dinner 'Mione. I'll bring the food out to you." I said.

She nodded and I walked into the kitchen. Mum was making her famous mashed potatoes and roast beef. I sniffed the air and hugged my mother.

"What has gotten into you sweetie?" She asked.

I chuckled and said, "I need some food for Hermione, she was trapped at Malfoy Manor but somehow she got back."

Mum gasped but then nodded her head. I got the food for Hermione and left the kitchen. Oh shoot! I forgot to mention Ginny was there too, well maybe not, Mum will probably just panic even more. I set the food on the table in front of Hermione. She sniffed the air and smiled.

"It smells good." Hermione said. "Can you move the table closer to me?"

I nodded and pushed the table closer to her. She was moving into a sitting position but she yelped out in pain. I picked her up and put her into the sitting postion. She smiled at me and started to eat. I watched her eat and she looked at me like I was crazy or something.

"Umm, Ron? Why aren't you eating? Your food is going to get cold." Hermione said.

"Oh, yeah food...right..okay." I said. I was so distracted by how she was doing that I didn't even eat! Merlin's beard I must be going insane! I mean I don't love her...right?
