Hands that clasped together to keep her from clasping her daughter, only for the worry she had about this turn of events. She knows Ginny can take care of herself, but who's going to filter out the put downs Aunt Muriel always has for Ginny, so she doesn't take things to heart.

And what's the big deal about Ginny's hair anyway? Aunt Muriel worries over the strangest things. I love Ginny's hair! Ok, so forget my question, as you just answered it perfectly. Why does she think she has the right to say things like that?!?!?!?! Did her lollipop get stolen when she was a baby? Saying good-bye to parents, is not unimportant chatter! Clever this. Are we to have a glimmer of hope for Ginny, that our thoughts and worries are even a little bit unfounded? I shall hold out for hope then.
