Okay...so THIS puts a startling twist on all the events so far. What will we find out next? That Anna has some mysterious Aunt wandering around somewhere dating this Paul Kutcher guy?!? He's everywhere! AHHH!

So, to start things off...Mr. Kutcher himself is staying at Cale's house. This possibly means he's sleeping in Cale's room since Cale is away at Hogwarts. So this mystery man who caused all this teenage drama at Hogwarts is merely going about his life possibly sleeping in Cale Newell's bed at night. All I can say to that is - AHH HAHAH!

Oh, and of course Ezra had to pop in. Does she ever stay away? Of course not! She's actually on to something this time. I think she may have more sense when it comes to relationship drama than both Cale and Anna combined. Well, except joining that club and wanting to celebrate Anna leaving.

I like the way you pulled in the Herbology class we all seem to be failing!

Oh and yes Ezara is right its exactly whats Barrys been trying to tell Cale but he never gets Cale to himself for 5 minuites and hes such a coward to mension it in frount of people who arn`t Cale. I wonder how does Ezara get time with Cale. I winder will she give me some tips? And no sarcastic ones or well... Barry does have a brother

The Love Potion and the Mini Kutcher


Things just never worked out for Cale. Ever. He had the most rotten luck in the whole world.

By all accounts, his life should be totally perfect right now. Anna wasn't leaving, they had made up, he ended his silly fake relationship with Evolette (in a very dramatic fashion, I might add) and him and Anna SHOULD be together again. Should being the key word.

As always, Cale hit a very big bump in the road, this time in the form of some love potion, Nico Toussiant, and, he was almost certain, the nurses Intern. That part was what had floored him the most--sure, he knew that Trelawney didn't like him very much, but was a love potion really necessary? He thought staff were supposed to look out for you, not try to ruin your life.

At first, Cale had thought that Anna had gotten a bump on the head, or she had some sick sense of humor and was trying to joke with him when she kept asking about Nico and talking about how much she loved him. But then, things slowly started to click into place and he had realized what had happened, and once again Cale could feel his heart breaking into tiny little pieces. He should be used to the feeling by now, but as he listened to her praise Nico Toussiant and talk about how much she loved him, he couldn't help but feel downright crappy. Even though he knew that nothing was she saying was true.

Finally, things calmed down, and the effects of the potion wore off, a tad quicker than usual since Cale managed to convince Anna of what had happened to her. Still, that didn't make things right with him and Nico. He had never liked the guy, not since the moment he met him, and now that this whole ordeal had happened, he was quite sure he would never ever like him or want to speak to him again. Even just looking at his face made him want to chuck his badge out the window and give him another bloody lip like he deserved.

But now that everything had settled down, Cale finally had a reason to smile again. Anna was back in his life. And this time, he was not going to screw it up.

It was over the Christmas holidays that Cale discovered something about himself. He was an absolute rubbish babysitter.

He had babysat for his sisters plenty of times, sure, but that had been different. For one, that could have hardly been considering babysitting. Ellie went off and played with her dolls and Theresa usually found something in the house that she hadn't read yet to occupy her time, and Cale just made sure they didn't kill themselves in the process. Which, in reality, was just another day at the Newell household.

Lucy, however, was a whole different story.

For a ten year old, she was pretty stupid. Either that, or she just had no inner voice in her brain telling her to NOT do things that could potentially injury herself.

The day had started off normally. All the adults left to go do something at the Ministry, and Theresa and Ellie were off in their rooms again. Ezra had left to go to a friends house, and Cale was left alone with Lucy.

At 11 o'clock AM, he caught her trying to ride Belle around the house like a horse. Belle got so annoyed with her that she actually made a move to bite her and Cale pulled Lucy away just in time.

At 1 o'clock PM Cale had prepared her a sandwich for lunch, and when he left to go to the bathroom and came back, she had abandoned the sandwich and broken into the freezer, one of the few Muggle appliances his mother had put in the house, and was eating all of Cale's jelly slug ice cream.

A half an hour later, he left her go outside to play in the snow, which turned out to be a BIG mistake. He went to go check on Ellie and Theresa for five seconds and when he came out again, she had gotten her tongue stuck to an isicle. It took him a good 15 minutes to finally remember he could use magic now and unfreeze her.

Oh, her wintery adventure was far from over. After pelting numerous snowballs at Cale, she decided she wanted to play Hide and Seek, which Cale agreed to only half heartedly. She ran to hide while Cale was counting (and eventually cheating, skipping at least 50 numbers to get to 100) and wedged herself into a small hole near the broomshed that Cale didn't know existed--although he kind of suspected she was half chipmunk or something and dug it herself in a short amount of time. Cale ran past that spot at least 5 times, calling her name and flipping out cause he had thought he lost her, until she finally revealed herself and declared him the worst seeker ever.

After that, he took her back in the house and told her to go play dolls with Ellie or something, and he ended up passing out on the couch. When he woke up his parents were home already and Lucy was taking a nap herself, and he thought everything had been alright. Until Ezra came home.

They were sitting at dinner when it happened. Ezra had been staring at him for a good five minutes, and he finally freaked and demanded to know what she was staring at him. She cackled evilly before asking "So, are uneven sideburns the new trend or something?"

Cale had never jumped up from his chair so fast before.

The little devil had actually shaved his sideburns! They were completely uneven now, and the damage was so great, he had to almost shave them all off completely to make them even again. GAH! Paul Kutcher and his daughter were ruining his life!

He almost cried that night. But don't tell anyone.

For some reason I like the chapters when hes home their well more entertaining.

The Beginning of the End

Seventh year.

That was the one thing Cale Newell did NOT want to think about right now. He felt cheated out of a great experience--everyone got to go to Hogwarts for 7 years, but he only got 3. 2, when you think about it, since his first year was spent at that awful Coopers school.

Everyone, with the exception of Ezra, had been kind enough to not bring up this topic for a while. He seldom introduced himself as a "seventh year" Gryffindor, he usually went with "Gryffindor Prefect" instead. He didn't want to think about leaving yet, and he was doing everything he could to avoid bringing it up.

Anna was doing a very good job too, but that was what scared him the most. Eventually, he'd have to say bye to her and he'd leave her for a whole year, worrying about her while she went off to finish out her last year. They'd have to talk about it at some point. While Anna was shopping for school supplies, he'd be at the Ministry, job hunting. When she was playing Quidditch, he'd be worrying over something in his Department. And that thought, was almost too much to bear.

His family had been the only ones who tried to cheer him up so far. His mum insisted that he could convince Anna to get homeschooled for her last year by her, and then Cale could see her all the time. Cale doubted that would work--his mum was nice and had a heart of gold and everything but she wasn't really the brightest. Aaron, his step-dad, assured him that he'd be working so much during his first year that the year would fly by before he even realized. That just made Cale feel even worse. Theresa also tried to convince him that leaving Hogwarts would be no big deal, and she was actually jealous she had 6 more years to go before she could leave. But Theresa had always been a rubbish liar, and Cale knew she was just trying to cheer him up and didn't really feel that way.

All Cale knew was, he had about 9 months before he had to face this problem. Hopefully that would be enough time for him to come to grips with it. And hopefully, it wouldn't hurt too bad when the time came.

The Herbology Babe

Cale has always prided himself in NOT having silly, fanboy crushes over teachers. He always saw that as a waste of time. What was the point of fawning over something that was never ever going to happen?

Of course, that was all before he met Anastasia Bunbury.

For once in his life, he was actually paying attention in Herbology. He wasn't exactly sure what it was about that fiery redhead--maybe it was her attitude. Or the way she cared so much about her plants. Or the fact that she stood up against that psycho teacher Kazimeriz. Either way, Cale felt himself spacing off in Herbology class, more focused on the actual TEACHER than the subject at hand.

Anna, naturally, was not so thrilled about this. During a duel for Defense homework, he got hit with a babbling curse and before he could get it lifted, he blurted that he thought Bunbury was cute. And then, during a very hectic Charms lesson, Bunbury came into the room and started acting all crazy. Naturally, because he was just concerned, he asked her what was wrong and she offered him a seat next to her on the desk. To be polite, he accepted maybe with a bit too much enthusiasm which lead to Anna getting annoyed with him, again. Sheesh, they were acting like an old married couple lately!

Of course, she had nothing to worry about--Cale knew, somewhere in his teenage, hormone driven mind, that Bunbury was a teacher, and he was in love with Anna. Bunbury was just--nice to look at. And really sweet. And she was saving his Herbology grade!

But, this was not the only professor that was driving Anna up the wall in regards to Cale--Professor Lupa, the new Ancient Runes professor, had taken quite an interest in him this term, forcing him to eat tons of cake and trying to convince Anna that SEYMOUR, of all people, liked her. Booooooooo. Although, it did make Cale think--had he somehow gotten more attractive over the summer? Older women had never been interested in him before!

And that, ladies and gents, is Cale's latest little ego boost.

Oh and Cale has a crush on Bunbury????????? That was unexpected...

Alright, so, I'm finally getting off my butt and finishing this story. It's soooooooooo sad to think that Cale is gone, done, finished Never fear, though--Cale will probably make a comeback someday How, I'm not sure, but trust me--he's not going anywhere anytime soon.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh and if you wanted to vote for me in the Golden Goblins Awards, that would be awesome You don't have to of course, but still...would be awesomeness

The End

It had gone by too fast. Much too fast. Part of him was angry at his mother, for making him miss out on four years at Hogwarts, and part of him was angry at time in general for going by SOOOO ridiculously fast.

It felt like just yesterday that he had been getting in an argument with Anna on the train. That he had been running around Coopers with Dumont, hunting down robots that had been set loose on the school. Had it really been THREE years since he met Cora in the Leaky Cauldron? Or since he had first gotten his prefect badge?

He felt like he hadn't aged at day, and he should still be going back to Hogwarts, with Anna, who was now Head Girl and probably dealing with a ton of crazies every day. As his birthday came and went, he realized that he was 19 now, just a YEAR away from 20. Just a YEAR till he wasn't a teenager anymore!

On the bright side, of course...this year was almost half way done. And then, he'd only have a few more months before Anna FINALLY graduated, and she could come home to him. They'd finally get married and, once he got off his butt to find a job, they could move out and get their own place. Maybe a flat in London. He had always invisioned himself living in a flat like those. And then Anna would get a job and they'd be...gasp, ADULTS, but at least they'd be together again.

Yes, this really wasn't the end. Sure, he was done with school, and in the few months since Anna had started school again, he had done pretty much nothing but lay around his house, watching the new Muggle television his dear old Uncle Ben had given him as a graduation present. But still, once Anna graduated, he'd be able to start up his life again, and THAT proved this wasn't the end.

No, in a few months, it would be a whole new beginning again. And that beginning would never end.

Awwwww. That was just a perfect ending for this story I loved it.

Ah such a nice and complete ending. But still I hope that maybe someday Cale come back, I miss stalking him at hogwarts. I`m just not used to Jack yet. But I will be soon enough.
