“Oh, God, it’s time.” James said, and looked me in the eyes. “You can watch from the door but don’t get any closer. Even with the potion there’s moments when he’s really dangerous while he’s transforming back.”

I nodded as James turned back into a stag and then I followed him to the living room.

The wolf was on the floor and his eyes were watering with pain. Suddenly, his back arched and he groaned.

James came over to him and nuzzled on his neck.

Remus calmed down a little bit. He seemed reassured. Then, out of nowhere, he snapped at James. James backed up a little.

Remus growled and his hands began to change… The fur started to disappear and the claws were gone.

He gave another deafening howl as his arms and legs cracked back into position. His back began to loose its arch and his ears regained their normal appearance.

James transformed into a human. “He’s through the worst of it now. I don't want you to look, though, because he’s going to be naked.”

I turned around and then heard a soft, human moan.

“Shh, it’s okay,” I heard James whisper. “Get under this blanket and I’ll go get you a steak and some milk.”

I heard James leave through the other door and I rotated to face Remus. He was lying on the sofa with his eyes closed.

“Hey,” I cooed, sitting down next to him. “How do you feel?”

His eyes flickered open for a second and then closed again. “Tired. You’re going to help make the potion, right?”

“Of course,” I said, adjusting his blanket. “It’s what I’m here for.”

“Hate me?” he questioned, eyes open with concern. “Scared of me?”

“Never,” I smiled, and hugged him. “I wouldn’t have you any other way.”

I'm back everybody!!! And I now you all missed me or did you know I was gone? Well, I was gone, went hiking in the Southern part of Indiana. It was kind of fun actually but now I am spending the rest of Spring Break here at home and maybe just maybe get my big lazy but over to the computer and see how ya'll is doin'. Poor Remus, in his wolfy form he reminds me of PAMS MONSTER. But he'd never come after me!!! Oh and I was so complaining about being a Hufflepuff. I mean being a Hufflepuff ain't that bad not as bad as a .......Slytherin *bum bum bom*!!! Being a Slytherin is awsome by the way thank you!!!! You can be bad all the time and paint your finger nails black(VERY SINISTER)!!!! Slytherins have feelings you know!!!! PAMSOISAHHFE!!!! I'm NOT telling you'll what that means!!!! You know I think I'll stay with my regular PAMS!!! Cuz that explains all I feel!!!!! PAMS!!! Awsome stuff really awsome stuff!!!! Can'ts wait for next post!!!! Today was my Papa's b-day.
So we had to go out to eat...
Sorry about the delay!

The next morning Mr. Orson decided that my first job would be to interview Remus. I got out my Muggle tape recorder and, for once, was glad that I was not at Hogwarts. If I would’ve interviewed him there, the recorder would’ve gone haywire, and I hated using Quick-Notes Quills.

“So what do you need to know all of this for?” Remus asked before we began.

“Well, I’m supposed to be able to understand what it’s like for you,” I said. “That way I can incorporate it into my style.”

He nodded, but I was sure that he still didn’t understand completely.

I flipped on the tape recorder and sat on the opposite end of the sofa from Remus.

“Lily Evans and Remus Lupin, December Twentieth.” I set it down in the middle of us and began to scratch a few notes. “Okay, Remus. Could you please explain what it’s like when you’ve transformed without the potion?”

He looked down at his hands. “It’s very… painful. It feels like knives are being constantly stabbed into every inch of my body and my eye sight just totally changes… I can see and hear everything. I feel mad and angry all of the sudden and it’s like I want to conquer the world.”

“What does it feel like when you’ve transformed with the potion?”

“It still hurts a lot,” he replied, looking more confident. “But I can control myself. I have a much better sense of what’s going on. Most the time it’s almost like I’m a dog, except I occasionally have to fight with the urge to bite someone. When I’m transformed I’d bite anything in sight… But with the potion it’s just like a nagging sense… really easy to overcome.”

“Are there any side effects to your transforming?”

“No, not really… except I now like my steak really rare. Cooked food is so overrated.”

I couldn't help but to smile.
