AH AH AH AH LOOK! *points* I made Hufflepuff! I bet it's 'cause I said that I liked ALL the houses. I wish I would've been more honest and said that I liked Slytherin the best, though. But Cedric was from Hufflepuff, so that makes me feel a little better! POSTING!

The next morning I rushed out of the Hospital Wing, relieved that I could finally leave the smell of sterilization and the horrible taste of the Pepper Up Potion.

My Herbology class took place in Greenhouse number eight and when I sat down next to Marie I couldn’t help to ask. “Where’s James?”

“I don’t know,” she shrugged. “What does it matter? You hate him anyway.”

“Hate is a strong word.” I said roughly and saw Sirius wink at Marie. They just thought that they were so sneaky.

“Hello, class,” the professor said, striding into the room. “Today we shall be working with the Alihotsy. Can anyone tell me what it does?”

My hand was instantly in the air. “Alihotsy leaves, when touched to the bare skin, cause hysteria.”

“Excellent, ten points to Gryffindor. So, it is your duty to fight the struggling plant and re-pot it, but to also keep it from sneaking onto your skin.”

I pit on my elbow-high gloves and grabbed the root of the plant. Its leaves instantly began to crawl up my arm, trying to find a patch of skin to rub on.

“So what happened in the Hospital Wing after we left?” Marie asked casually, watching the plant snake up my arm.

“Nothing,” I replied honestly, but my mind began to wander. He almost kissed me… and I didn’t stop him.

“Careful, it’s trying to pull up your sleeve.”

“Oh,” I said, exasperated. “Stupefy.”

It froze.

“Nothing, huh?” Marie questioned, eyebrows raised, and helped me force it into the next pot.

“Mmhmm.” I replied, distracted again.

Suddenly, there was a loud commotion from across the room and Peter Pettigrew, a boy in my grade who was often found trailing behind Sirius, Remus, and James, suddenly jumped up.

“I JUST CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE!” he screamed, tears rolling down his face. “AHHHHHHH!”

I watched, bemused, as he ran around the room, chasing something that he could only see. The professor took something out of her pocket, shoved it in his mouth, and began to coo softly to him until he was sitting on the floor, knees up to his chest, tears rolling down his face, and his thumb in his mouth.

“There, there,” she said softly. “Miss Newcomb, will you assist Mr. Pettigrew to the Hospital Wing?”

Marie stood up grimly and led him onto the grounds.

Sirius came over and took her place. “Looking for James?”

“No.”

“Well, he told me to tell you that he won't be here for a little while.”

I pretended that I hadn’t heard him and ripped the roots of another Alihotsy out of the ground.

Oh my!!! Greats!!! I was really excited when I read it!!! They almost kissed yay!!! The excitement is rising!!! Its overflowing...YAyadgfhskljgiuwh(just need to get that out you understand)!!! I didn’t see James or Remus for the next two weeks and concern gripped at my stomach even tighter. Every time I asked Sirius about it he turned a deaf ear. I wanted to scream.

Even more odd, the teachers weren’t suspicious about their continual absence. It felt as if everyone knew something I didn’t, and that was extremely annoying.

Finally, at the end of Potions, I approached professor Slughorn.

“Er… Professor?” I asked gently.

He looked up from the essays he was grading and smiled, his eyes sparkling. “Ah, excellent potion today Miss Evans. You are exceptionally talented.”

I blushed. “Thanks very much, sir, but that’s not what I’m here about… Er… well, see, I was just rather curious… do you know where James and Remus have been? There my friends, you see, and I’m awfully worried.”

He looked at me thoughtfully, and said, “Miss Evans, I simply cannot tell you, though I must admit that I was wondering how long it would take you to ask. You’re naturally very curious… and, well, I’m bound to a sort of... ah… contract, you see.”

My face fell but I tried to hide it with a plastic smile. “Oh, well that’s okay…”

To my surprise, his grin spread farther. “Now don’t give up so easy; you’d disappoint me if you did. I wouldn’t do this with many other students, Miss Evans, so take it for granted. Here… It’s a clue.”

He handed me a torn piece of parchment with fancy cursive scribbled on it. I guess he really had been waiting for me to ask.

I wanted to hug him.

I headed towards the library and read it again and again.

Waving at Madam Pekkons, I entered the Restricted Section. The benefits of being Head Girl were immense.

I searched for any potions book I could find but was soon frustrated that my task proved harder than I imagined. I pondered momentarily on the Polyjuice Potion, since the fluxweed needed to be picked at the full moon, but how would that work? The Polyjuice Potion made a disguise while the riddle said that what ever this was wouldn’t get rid of the disguise.

I was so confused and sleepy and I couldn’t help but to lay my head down and sleep.

Its cold because it snowed in March!!!! Today was the first day of Spring and it snowed. Just imagine having to wait for a bus while snowing and that's what i did today!!! I loved this post and I can't wait to hear more!!! Lily trying to figure out their secret. Its a good secret and it seems to be kept very well. PAMS!!! And a little more PAMS!!! Can I have PAMS with that? And to put it simply just P-A-M-S!!! What's that spell? PAMS!!! (I'm hyper today)

I thought yesterday was the first day of Spring? That's what my calander said. I can't believe it snowed!! How insane is that? Tell me you missed school at least! Haha, I bet you know what the secret is. Do you?

Once the initial shock has passed a whole new feeling of worry placed it: James and Remus are out in the world, unprotected, and Remus was to transform soon. How would James keep Remus in line, and even worse, how could James keep himself from being bitten?

I raced up to the Owlery and looked for the fastest bird.

“Bring me back an address book,” I whispered, and the tawny owl took off quickly. I’d considered asking the teachers myself where Mr. Orson lived, but they’d automatically know what I was up to… and for once, that just wasn’t acceptable.

Finally, after ten minutes of waiting, it came back with a thick, leather-bound book.

“Thanks very much!” I said, and flipped excitedly, looking for Orson. “Found it! Nivy Orson, Eighteen Ninety-Three, Godric’s Hollow.”

“That’s a Muggle village,” a soft voice behind me said, making me jump.

I wheeled around to see Avery, the Head Boy, staring at me with a mix of curiosity and hatred.

“What do you want?” I asked sharply.

“To know why you’re looking up my filthy traitor uncle.”

“You’re related to him?”

“Unfortunately. He’s so disgusting… mixing himself with the Muggles and helping the werewolves be reasonable.”

“And what’s wrong with that?”

He laughed like I was an idiot. “What, what’s wrong with that? He is reigning; the werewolves will all be at His side soon, and no matter how many potions Orson makes, Orson will loose because He is above all others!”

I stepped back; Avery was raving like a madman.

He came closer. “And, now, Little Miss Perfect, you’re going to go find him. Why? WHY? LOOK AT ME WHEN I’M TALKING TO YOU, YOU FILTHY MUGGLE!”

I took a few more steps backwards, not breaking my eye contact with him. I’d reached the open window. Any father back and I’d be falling to my death.

He rushed forward and grabbed my neck, shaking me violently. “Why do you want him, why? Are you plotting against me?”

I felt something tugging at my sleeve. Looking down, I saw a pointy green leave.

“You- you wouldn’t happen to have been in the greenhouses, have you?” I asked, gasping for air.

He was muttering to himself, looking around as if searching for something non-existent. “Of course, of course, the cubic centimeter of the mouse is twenty-four, but then why would the terrorists have wanted the coffee? Greenhouses? Oh, yes, I know of those. That’s… that’s where they keep the centralized focal point of the square disc…”

He was making no sense and getting worse every second, but I knew what had happened. Though Avery was evil he wasn’t acting on his own. The Alihotsy leaves had touched his skin, and were quickly going for me.
