We Apparated to Diagon Alley and I decided that we should separate. “After all, I will be buying presents for the both of you, and I wouldn’t want to spoil your Christmas. Let’s meet back here at six o’clock and we’ll head to Hogsmeade. How’s that sound?”

They nodded.

“But you know…” James said. “There will be some kids from our school there. What do we say to them… that the three of us decided that we wanted to continue our studies a hundred miles away?”

“Well… Let’s just tell them that we’ve all got a sick friend who needs us more that school does. We’ll just have to tell them that we’ll be back before the year is over. I mean, we’re not lying so we don’t have to feel guilty.”

I nodded then headed towards Twillfit and Tatting’s. It was an upscale clothing shop and something told me that Remus needed some new robes.

Our graduation party was the time to wear our best clothing and I didn’t want him to feel as if he were left out.

I went into the store to find a huffy looking lady sitting behind the desk. She was flipping through a magazine and she barely looked up as I walked in.

“I think you’re in the wrong store, honey,” she said in a sickly sweet voice. “This one’s a little too expensive for your blood.”

I plopped my bag of money down on the counter. She looked up at the jingling sound of coins clashing together.

“You sure?” I replied in the same tone of voice. “I would go somewhere else, if that’s what you’d wish.”

She threw down her magazine. “Oops. I wasn’t talking to you… I was talking to… er… that lady outside the window. What can I do for you?”

I nodded, smirking. “That’s right. I want the best set of robes you own.”

Next I headed to Flourish and Blott’s to pick up a book, and then to a smaller, less-known store next to Eeylop’s Owl Emporium. I walked in to find it overflowed with odd colors of parchment, assorted and random objects, and sparkling jewelry.

A coughing man appeared from the back room. “Hello, hello! How can I help you?”

“Well, I’m shopping for two guys… one’s my boyfriend.”

“Okay… hmm, let’s see. Yes, come over here. Tell me about him.”

“Well, he wants to be an Auror… he loves Quidditch and showing off… And he really likes Charms.”

The man nodded. “Favorite color?”

“Red and gold,” I replied confidently. “The colors of our house’s Quidditch Team.”

“This will be perfect,” he smiled, and handed it over.

“Perfect.”

Before I left, one more thing caught my attention. I had the gifts wrapped then headed to meet the boys.

Alright I'll take your word on the pig thing!!! Kind of went crazy on that last post(uh huh) !!!! And from Indianapolis, Indiana!!!! Its great here except its raining like mad!!! And I also had to go to my Grandma's house and pick up litter!!! Us Hoosiers like to throw trash everywhere.....I think!!! So, I'm a little tried now....did that last post in the morning and I was hyper!!! But I'm always like that I guess!!! And thank I feel so much better knowing ya'll(i did that on purpose) don't hate me....i didn't really think that ya'll(2nd time I'm on a roll) did!!!! When I’d reached the lamppost that we’d all departed from, I found Remus already there.

“Hey,” I said, wrapping my jacket a little tighter around me. “How long have you been here for?”

He shrugged. “About thirty minutes. I have… well… a lot less money than you and James… so I didn’t have so many stores to pick from.”

He looked at the ground sadly and I was saved from saying anything when James jogged up. “Hey, sorry I’m late. Ready to go, then?”

I nodded and we Disapparated, then arrived shortly at Hogsmeade.

“Let’s go get a butterbeer,” I suggested, since my teeth were now chattering dangerously.

We entered The Three Broomsticks and saw a few familiar faces. We decided that the best idea was to grab a table quickly and try to avoid any awkward questions.

“Hey, I’ll go get the drinks, on me,” James winked and approached the bar.

“You know you don’t have to get me anything fancy,” I said softly. “As long as you care about what you got me then I’ll be happy.”

He nodded and looked out the window, and then I realized that there were much more problems than Christmas presents in Remus’ mind.

“She turned me down, you know?” he asked suddenly, out of the blue.

“What? Who?”

“Marie,” he replied glumly. “For Sirius. I almost told her about… my problem… I bet she would’ve been so scared of me.”

“It’s not a problem.” I said, ducking down a little bit so he’d look at me. “It’s who you are, and to be able to be the guy that you are today, and not be like every other dangerous werewolf… Remus, it’s amazing. And the fact that Marie turned down such an amazing guy like you proves what an idiot she is. I mean… Sirius… he’s never going to be committed with anyone. Marie knows that she’s just setting herself up to be hurt.”

He rested his chin on his hand. “Then why not pick me?”

“I know Marie really well so have you considered that maybe, just maybe, she’s scared?”

He bit his lip and our conversation came to a close as James set the drinks down on our table.

Only Huete, Samstag, und Sonntag until my Spring Break is over!!! I loved the post, poor Remus......he deserves a nice girl like.......Tonks, I guess!!!! Meaning of the title....Hmmmmmm.....I liked the idea of the different flavors each week, it made sense....but its probably really complex, and something I couldn't think up......Could it have something to do with(I have no ideas) the flavors themselves.....maybe the secret to the whole story is that we find out what everyone's favorite flavors are....I see James liking.....Pineapple......and Lilly liking.....banana.....And Remus liking.....I know, Moose Tracks.....I love Moose Tracks.........And what's wrong with the occasional.....Watermellon.....or the flavor everyone likes.....Carrot....and what eats carrots.....Pigs.....and what happens to pigs once they're killed.....they're ham....and hams rhymes with......PAMS!!!!
