I will not be able to post for awhile, my computer is broken, due to a broken keyboard. I was going to post by friday, but now, I can't. I will have a long post for you next time I can get one. I promise. I will most likely end up going to grandparents to type it up sometime soon. It is 10 pages long in my hand writing, and I'm still typing.

I have to go, because I am writing this from school.

No one really knew about me and Matt yet and it is already the night of the dance. I'd gotten a charm put on it so that no one would really know, so I wasn't asked hundreds of questions. I don't know if or what Matt has told anyone, but I don't think he has or I would've been asked questions.

The ball is tonight. All the girls are rushing to get ready. It's really quite a mess. They are all doing each others hair and everything. I've just got a few spells that Aunt Hermione showed me. They're actually pretty cool. I was overly surprised that my aunt knew anything about spells to do with beauty. I know she knows a lot of spells but that didn't really strike as something she'd know.

I told my mom the other day when I went to ask Aunt Hermione about spells. At first she seemed mad that it had come about in such a short time. But Hermione said something to her and she seemed okay with it then. I'm not sure what it was but she has been a lot quieter since then around me.

Guys really are weird. They are still all sitting in the common room like nothing is going on at all tonight. The girls know what they are doing too because every once in awhile numerous howlers start screaming while I'm sitting down here with Matt. He keeps asking me why I'm not getting ready, I just keep telling him that I don't need to. He's not going to quit asking so I might as well just go and get ready.

Upstairs is chaos. Everyone is rushing around trying to get ready. There is only about an hour left until the ball starts, so quickly grabbing my stuff I and taking a quick shower. When I was done I dried my hair and found my dress. Slipping it on, I began to work on my hair with numerous spells. With my hair still curling and putting its self up, I began to apply my makeup making sure that it matched my gold dress. Once I was finished all this it was half an hour later and I only had about 20 minutes left. Digging through my jewelry I found a necklace that went well with my dress and a matching bracelet. Finally taking the charm off my ring I was ready to go.




*Matt's P.O.V.*



I'm really nervous about tonight. I haven't seen much of Keely over the last few days. Whenever I have she's been sitting in the common room working on homework. I haven't seen the ring on her finger since I gave it to her, I don't know why she would want to hide it. I thought she'd be happy about it, but she doesn't seem to want anyone to know, she hasn't said anything about it though.

There's a new guy that transferred to this school yesterday. He got sorted into this house but I haven't seen him yet. I've only heard about him. It's puzzling me that very few seem to know who he is. He's in my year though and also all the girls seem to like him and I've never seen him before.

I should probably go and start to get ready, Keely wont be very happy if I just go the way I am now. I can't wait to see her.

Half an hour later I am back downstairs with the rest of the guys. Most of them have already left with their dates so there are only a few of us left. I'm standing looking down at the ground when one of the guys taps me on the shoulder. Looking up to see what he wanted, I see Keely walking down the stairs. She looks absolutely gorgeous. I'm so lucky. She is actually wearing the ring, I feel a lot better now.

She's standing right in front of me now. I seem to of lost my voice...

"Matt, you ready to go?" Keely asked, breaking the silence that had filled the common room.

"You look beautiful, Keely," I said, finally finding my voice.

Blushing, she took my arm and led me towards the great hall.




*Keely's P.O.V.*

Matt amuses me sometimes. I walked down the stairs and he just went quiet for a few minutes and didn't say anything . In the end I broke the silence, it needed to be done.

The great hall looks so nice. It's scary though as well for Halloween. This should be a fun night. I have this feeling that nothing is going to go wrong. Hopefully I'm right.

The first few songs were all slow songs and after that I left Matt to go dance with Carly because she asked me to, and I haven't told her about Matt and I yet either.

While Carly and I were having fun dancing she was asking me questions about what I'd been up to lately when suddenly she stops, looks at me and all of a sudden says.

"What's that ring for??"

"Matt," I said.

"What's that supposed to mean?" she asked.

"He asked me if I'd marry him when school was over"



"And you didn't see the need to tell me?" she almost yelled.

"I didn't get a chance, I've been so busy lately..."

"You're gonna marry the Malfoy boy... Wow, what does your dad have to say about that??" she said.

"He asked dad first I guess, because dad already knew. You know he doesn't like to be referred to as a Malfoy. He's totally different then the rest of them. He wouldn't be in our house if he wasn't. You know that," I told her.

"I know, just still. That's like wow. You're only in your sixth year. You're way too young to get married, but I guess it's okay if its not till after school," she concluded and we went back to dancing.

A few minutes later I heard a voice behind me. Carly gives me a weird look and walks away leaving me with whoever the voice belongs to.

"Keely Potter, is that you?" someone said, surprised.

Turning around to look at the person, I gasped.



"What are you doing here, Ray??" I asked hurriedly, hoping he'd leave.

"I just transferred here from a school in America, wanted to be closer to home. I didn't realize you were a witch though," he said.

"I'm a Potter, kind of daft if you didn't realize I'm a witch, even if you were in America. My dad defeated Voldemort. Are you stupid?" I almost yelled at him.

"It never really crossed my mind...I didn't even think of it that way. I'm not stupid. All you've done the last few times I've talked to you is yelled at me. What's with that anyways?"

"You are a pest, you don't seem to get it that you can't make me like you," I told him firmly.

A slow song began again and he grabbed hold of me and started dancing with me. Hs grip was really tight. Almost making it impossible to fight against him. So instead of fighting I began frantically looking around for Matt. I need help here. Suddenly he moves his hand, moving fast to try and get free he pulls me closer and starts to kiss me. Doing the only thing I can think of, I bite his lip as hard as I can and push him away while he is still recovering from the shock. I quickly turn around run away as fast as I can, trying to look for Matt as I go running by everyone. By now the slow song has ended and I can't find Matt. Running outside, I went to sit down and get away from everything. Hoping that if Matt cared enough and realized I was missing he would come and find me.




*Matt's P.O.V.*

I asked Keely to come and find me when the next slow song came on. She didn't show up and someone else asked me to dance. I couldn't find her anywhere when I was looking around while I was dancing. As soon as the song was over I went to sit back down exactly where I was before so that she would know where to find me incase she came back while I was dancing. She still wasn't there.

A few songs later Lyssa comes running up to me with Ian and asked me if I knew where Keely had gotten too. She was going about and saying that they said she was dancing and then that they saw her running out of the hall towards the front door of the castle.



Not bothering to listen to the rest of what she was saying I took off, heading for outside as fast as I could.

Looking around frantically for Keely, I ran around quickly in the dark. Finally I slowed down and heard someone crying. Heading towards the sound I finally found Keely laying on the ground crying. Going over and kneeling down beside her, I slowly sat her up and wrapped my arms around her and held her tight. I noticed quickly that she was shaking and I turned her around to face me.

Still holding her tight, I asked, "What's wrong, Keely?"

"Ray...here...dance...kiss...me..." she said slowly, shaking almost uncontrollably.

"Ray? Ex Ray? The one you dumped this summer?"

"Yes, that one," she said a little calmer but still crying.

"How did he do that? He isn't a wizard! He can't be at this school! Can he?" I asked.

"He transferred from America, I guess," she muttered.

"HE'S THE TRANSFER?? THE ONE THAT'S IN OUR HOUSE?" I yelled.

"Shhh! Not so loud. Yes, that's him," she told me.



"If he is a wizard, how could he have not known you were a witch?" I asked.

"I guess he just didn't put two and two together."

"Oh, I love you, Keel, remember that. I think you're wonderful."

"You don't know what he did. He kissed me. I need to come up with a way to get him back. I think I've already put a hole through his lip," she said, laughing a bit now.

"Good for you. I'm proud of you," I told her.

"I love you, too, Matthew Alexander Malfoy," she whispered in my ear, before she kissed me.

The rest of the ball went by considerably fast. Eventually Keely and I went back inside to the hall and danced occasionally. Ray seemed to be sitting by himself now, as it turns out quite a few people has seen him and Keely and news travels fast at school so now no one is talking to him. Really shows how much everyone will stick up for the people they've known their entire life.

By the morning, no one was talking to Ray. Everyone in our house was shunning him, and everyone else was just ignoring him.

Word seemed to of spread very fast about mine and Keely's engagement as well. Everyone seemed very happy about it as well, everyone that is except my sister. And Jocelyn, but honestly I couldn't care less about what she thought.

I was sitting in the great hall eating lunch without Keely. She was off saying good bye to her mother who was going home to look after her little sister, before she got into to much mischief from staying with Fred and George.

I'm sitting eating my sausages when Ray comes up to me and punches me. Straightening up, I ask him what that was all about.

"That's for holding hands and kissing my girlfriend last night," he said.

Everyone stopped what they were doing, everything goes quiet as they then all turn to look at me and Ray.

"You're girlfriend?" I yell.

"Yes, mine, I'm her boyfriend from home," he replies.

"No you aren't," I said, calmer then before.

"I believe the proper term is 'ex' boyfriend," Carly and Lyssa both say at the same time from the other end of the table sitting with Ian, who looks furious.

"I am her boyfriend," he says, finality in his voice.

Ignoring his tone of voice I say, "It's impossible for you to be her boyfriend, considering she's my fiancée!"

"WHAT?!!" he yells.

"Yes, she is. Learn to live with it!" I told him, just as Keely walks in for lunch.

Quicker then I've ever seen before, everyone that was looking at us, turned around and looked at Keely before turning back to look at Ray and I, all in complete silence.

I barely noticed when Keely came up to me and stood right between Ray and I. I hadn't even noticed that I was standing up. She stands up straight and kisses me right in front of everyone. She the proceeds to turn away from me to face Ray. She slaps him and tells him to never come near any of her friends ever again. I'm beginning to think that she heard the whole conversation, she sure is acting like it.

After Ray is gone, Keely glanced up at her dad and he smiled, as if he knew that she was going to tell Ray to get lost and slap him. The teachers say that Harry Potter is exactly like Dumbledore. That is also as Dumbledore was, and that he's also learned most of it from him. What you here most about him though is that he is Dumbledore's man through and through.

Over the next couple of months nothing exciting happened. Ray left me alone and Matt and I were good. Nothing had come between up and going home for the Christmas holidays was something that was on everyone's mind. Almost everyone was heading home for the break.

Matthew was coming to my place for Christmas. Something happened with his parents so he had no where to so I convinced dad to let him stay at our place. He finally agreed saying that he'd have to set up the other magical room, so that he couldn't be traced.

We all leave tomorrow. And then we have a few days before Christmas. We have a feast tomorrow night and then we are heading home on the train so that we will be home by Saturday morning and then Christmas is on Wednesday.

Heading to bed I dreamt about what was going to happen over Christmas break.

It felt like I'd only closed my eyes for a few minutes and Carly was telling me to get up. Well, I better get me that I've got to go to class in 10 minutes. WAIT!! Oh-my, I've only got 10 minutes. Rushing to get ready I jump up and get dressed, running out the door, I grab my bag, and the toast Carly and Lyssa and were holding out for me.

RAY, GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!! God. Keely and Matt should be left alone to be all happy with each other. PAMS!

So sorry, I know I promised I'd post last weekend, but I didn't have time, I got asked to go out with friends, and then was up till 4 in the morning, and up at 7:30 a few hours later. So I was too tired. But here's a short post I'll write more, because I've got some good ideas for it. I'm going away in about a week, for just over a week, for right after christmas, till right before school starts back up. So I'm going to try and write some then as well, because I know that I will get sick of my mother and I will most definatly write some then. So look forward to a long post during the week of the 8th.

The train ride was very uneventful, it seemed to go by very quickly and I can’t really remember what we did for most of the time, all I really remember is sleeping.

Dad and Mom were waiting for us when we got there. Crossing my mind for a minute I wondered how dad had got there before us. I thought that he had gone on the train, that’s why I stayed in the compartment the whole time, because I didn’t want to run into my dad. Then again, who would? They rushed us quickly out of the station, yelling at Ian on the way, telling him he could see his girlfriend tomorrow because they were all coming over for the holidays. It’s funny to listen to him get into trouble, because it normally ends up being about him wanting to spend time with Lyssa. Normally, I’d argue with them about that as well, but not this year, Matt’s staying with me, and I really can’t wait. His sister tried to drag him with her when he got of the train, but he pushed her away and came with me. I don’t even want to think about what might of happened if he’d gone to the Malfoy manor.

As soon as we got home, all I could see what lights. It had never been so colourful at home before on Christmas. I wonder why this time.

“Hey, why are there so many lights?” I asked, not really talking to anyone in general.

“Umm,” dad started, glancing at mom quickly as if for reassurance that it was alright to say anything.

“What your dad is saying is that your grandpa got a little carried away with the muggle lights this year. He had fun doing it though,” mom said.

“Yes, you should of seen him, it was really funny” my little sister added. Then quickly shut up after the look she got from our parents.

I'm so sorry.

This is the first time I've been on here since I posted last. And I'm really sorry that I can't think of anything. Somehow I lost all train of thought. Perhaps it has something to do with exams and things. And just not being allowed on the computer all that much. I've got nothing else on this really right now...Once the sememster starts up again I might start again, I've got another idea as well, don't know if I'll make it into a Harry Potter story, thought about just writing it down like it was a book, I've just got to make it long enough though....

I'll be back soon with a final few posts.

I said I'd be back wayy before this, but well. I got help up with school and everything else.

Id like to give credit to Draco' Darling for the idea behind this post. Sadly though I don't have time time right now to make the story go one any longer, so this is the final post. I may though sometime soon, begin another one. But for now, He're the post.

The Christmas holidays passed in a blur, everything seemed to go by so fast and before we knew it we were heading back to school. The holidays were pretty good except for one small thing.

It was Christmas eve, morning, and we were all sitting down eating breakfast in the kitchen when Matt said that he had to go out to town, he said he had some last minute shopping that he had to do and that he’d be back in a hour or so. I noticed that Ian gave him a knowing look, smiled and went back to eating while Matt got up and left.

It was around 4 hours later that I finally began to worry, I’d been away from Matt for this long before, but I always knew where he was, or had a general idea. This time I was really worried because he said that he would be back by now. I went and found dad and asked him what he thought.

“Oh, he just most likely got held up and its taking him long then he anticipated.” Dad told me.

Well that really didn’t help me at all. Around supper time I began to get frantic. I had no idea what had happened to him. Lyssa told me that it was nothing that I should worry about, he just probably ran into someone he knew. Everyone else seemed to agree with her.

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?” I yelled.

“Nothing, don’t yell at her” Ian told me coldly.

“Well, she thinks I shouldn’t worry about, he’s been gone all day when he said he’d only be gone for a couple hours at the most. Of course I’m going to be worried.”

After no one said anything for a few minutes I said “I’m going to look for him, it’s Christmas eve. What happened if his dad got to him or something?? Anyone want to come help me look? If not, I’m going on my own!”

“We’ll come help,” my friends all said.

So we left the house just before supper and headed to town looking for him. We looked in all the shops and no one said that they had seen them. Ian came out of one of the stores and told us all that they storekeeper said that he had been in there in the morning, but he hadn’t been back since. So we continued on, walking up an down the alleys, when suddenly we heard someone screaming. It sounded really faint, but awfully familiar.

I took off running down the alley, slowing as I came nearer the sound. It was Matt, laying on the ground, with Ray hovering over top of him, muttering off different curses with his want.

“STOP!” I yelled.

Ray looked my way, and for a moment it looked like he was going to turn on me, but then he said, “No, he needs to realize that you are not his girlfriend!”

I’m his fiance, Ray, not his girlfriend, that counts for more. Let him go now,” I said, slowly drawing my wand.

He looked startled, and I quickly glanced behind me to see that my friends had also all drawn their wands. When I looked back at Ray, he had lowered his wand, like he was admitting defeat. Ian shot off a spell at him bounding him, grabbed hold of him tightly, and told Lyssa to hold on to him tight and he Apparated back to our place. Now there was only Carly, Matt and I left. Carly leaned towards me, and said that I had to get Matt back on my own, and that she was going back to my place, with a loud pop she was gone. As soon as she was gone, I ran over to Matt to help him up. I told him I was going to get him home the same way as my friends just went, even if it was illegal for me to do so.

He looked up at me, and said, “No, not yet. I have something to give you, I don’t think Ray destroyed it. He’s going to regret this by the way. It’s your Christmas present. I’m sorry I didn’t get home, Ray just came up from behind me and surprised me.”

He took a little box out of his pocket and told me to open it. When I looked inside I saw a really pretty necklace, it was on a silver chain and had two hearts on it. He looked at me and told me that he had only come in to have it repaired, it had belonged to his mother and once she heard about our engagement she sent it to him. Very gingerly, I gave him a hug, and we slowly started home.

What happened to Ray? Well, dad mad sure that he got what he deserved, he was expelled from Hogwarts for torturing a fellow classmate and we haven’t heard from him since. This year looks looks like it’s going to end good after all. With a wedding to look forward to in the summer, and then one final year of school, Matt and I will be living together in a different common room in school, that has been there for a long time for married students. We get to chose how we decorate it and everything, dad said, because it hasn’t been used in a very long time. All I can say is that this has been a very eventful year, and I’m sure Matt and I will have many more to come together.
