I was simply relieved that Draco hadn’t pushed me to do anything that I didn’t want to do; I was still wary of him as I kissed his cheek, though. Who knew what he had up his sleeve? Those Slytherins were very cunning folk. All the sorting hat’s songs came back to me in a flood and I withdrew.
Now I was stuck in the scenario of being alone in a bathroom with Draco. I raised my head and looked him in the eye. “It’s time to go,” I said simply, making a move for the door. Thankfully, he didn’t protest and followed me through the door.
“You know,” he told me once we’d shut the door behind us, “You really disappointed me back there.” He wrinkled his nose at me.
I sighed. He was like a little boy who didn’t accept the word “no”. “It’s my choice, Draco, and you can’t make me change what I’ve set my mind too.”
We started to walk down the hallway, but I thought I heard him mutter under his breath, “Or can I?”
