Dear Mini Me,

Ohmygosh. I have the most HORRIBLE story to tell you today, Mini Me. It’s so upsetting. I know you’re going to cry. So, do I need to get you a handkerchief or something? You know, just IN CASE you cry. No? Are you sure you don’t want one? Okay, then.

I’m going to skip everything else that happened this week and go straight to the story on the second floor corridor. That corridor is my nightmare now. I’m going to be too scared to ever go back there ever, again. Why? You ask. Pssssh. Jake Jacob Jakers Dale Blackly-Upstead is the reason for this nightmare. Geez, I want to kill that little monster for what he did.

Okay , so it was a beautiful sunny day…you know, it wasn’t the beautiful at all. It was snowy. Snowy and wet. Anyways, I was walking along the corridor calling Cale’s name. I wanted to give him his LATE birthday presents. Yes, I did forget his birthday. Get over it! So, after I called his name a few times, he showed up. Wooot. I was so excited. Mr. Newell was finally getting his snazzy presents from Miss Northway. Wouldn’t you be excited, too? I gave him a blow up microphone and guitar. Hopefully he won’t hurt himself on those. I mean, he would probably be the first person ever to actually hurt them on a blown up object. But, that’s Cale for you. I also gave him some mousse. He’s a freak about his hair.

Now to the interesting part, while I was giving him my present, Jake showed up. I can’t complain about him now, because he wasn’t doing anything. But, after Jake showed up, Cam came along behind him. DUDE. I think Cam is stalking me. He shows up everywhere! Cam the stalker. That’s what I’m calling him now.
After Jake and Cam came, this girl with a camera showed up. Then, there was a BIG BRIGHT FLASH. Can you imagine that? It was scary. But after the flash and Cale complaining about his retinas burning, Jake came up on us. I didn’t notice him until he pulled out his spellotape. You know, I learned something from this: DON’T EVER TRUST A FIRSTIE WITH SPELLOTAPE! That’s a warning for anyone who reads this in the near future. So, Jake had his extra sticky spellotape…. Then, he ripped Cale’s sideburn off with it. It was like now you see the sideburn, now you don’t. But, as Jake ripped the sideburn off, the spellotape landed on my hair. MY HAIR!! And he ripped it off and I lost a chunk of my perfect, brown hair. It was sad. But at the moment, I was angry. Angry at Jake. If he had not run off, I would have ate him right there. Well, I wouldn’t have actually eaten him, but you get the point. He would be dead meat.

Now, Cale was sideburn less and I was hairless…and that girl with the camera was still there. You get the picture now? Yeah. There came another bright light. This time, I had enough. I stole the camera from the girl. Bwahahaha. But, you know how bad I am with camera. I pushed the wrong button on it and then I was blinded by the light. Then, the camera went out of my hands and went towards Cale. Luckily, Cale catched the camera and gave it back to the girl. That’s the happily ever after. Aren’t you glad the camera wasn’t broken? I was. Cale saved me from going to detention. I owe him one.

Well, that’s my HORRIBLE story for today. I hoped you enjoyed, Mini Me.

Dear Mini Me,

This will probably be my last entry until detention is over. Yes, Little Miss Reese Northway has detention. I mean, it’s not MY fault Kazimeriz caught me at a bad time. I was just giving Jack what he deserved for strangling my little brother. What?! You don’t know who my little brother is. Pssssh. My little brother is Jake Upstead. Yes, the Jake that made Cale sideburn less and me half bald, but I put all that behind me. I love Jake now. I feel like he needs me. There’s a reason that fate brought us together.

So, back to the detention thing. I’m taking that I need to give you the whole enchilada. The whole story of what happened. Well, it all starts back in the sixth floor corridor:

I was making my way through the corridor until I noticed Jake and Jack fighting. Oh, well. I didn’t really think it was serious, because little boys fight all time time, right? I made it over to Jake and Jack then saw that this was serious. This wasn’t a little babyish fight. This was a big deal. Jack was strangling Jake. I had to act quickly. I dashed over to them and tried hard to pull Jack off Jake. Unsuccessful. Another girl, who was around at that time, successfully pulled them apart. But, Jack went at Jake, again. This time, I was pushed out of them way by Jack. My head slammed against the wall and I missed most of the fight. When I finally decided to look up, Jake was crying. I made my way over to him and comforted him until a Prefect finally came.

A few days later after this incident, I was walking down in the dungeon corridor trying to get to the common room. When I was about to get to the common room entrance, I heard Lima’s voice. And, let me tell you, I have never heard Lima this mad before. I followed Lima’s voice until I found her pointing her wand a Jack. I should have stopped there. But, like an idiot, I had to torment Jack, too. I talked to him about Jake and how he shouldn’t have strangled him and then I pointed my wand at him. Anna arrived at this point. But, that didn’t stop me. The only thing that made me drop my wand and shake in horror was when I heard Professor Kazimeriz’s voice.

How ironic is it for a Professor to just show up when you have your wand pointed at another student?

Professor Kazimeriz questioned me and Lima about what was going on. I explained about what happened on the sixth floor corridor a few days ago, then Professor Kazimeriz told Anna to go find Jake. Seconds later, Anna was back with Jake, who was looking really scared at this point. Professor Kazimeriz questioned him and Jack. It didn’t take no time at all for Kazimeriz to sentence Jack, Lima, and me to detention.

So, that’s it. I’m heading off to detention and it’s all because I was acting like an idiot who wanted to protect Jake so much that I was willing to threaten with a wand. But, you know, I really wouldn’t have done any harm to Jack. I really wouldn’t have. I was just trying to scare him. I doubt anyone would believe that if I told them that. I probably looked mad enough to hex him off the universe. I wouldn’t have done it, though. I’m not THAT crazy nor am I THAT evil. No matter what people say.

That’s it. I have to head off to detention now. I’ll get back to you, Mini Me, once detention is over. You know, I’m really scared to know what Kazimeriz is going to make me and Lima do. He’s an evil man.

You are NOT, Mini Me. Sadly, I had to get a new journal since my old one was lost in the flood. Since you are a new journal, you are going to need a new name. I shall name you Mr. Journal. Yes, I know Mini Me was a better name, but just GET OVER IT. You are Mr. Journal and you will always be Mr. Journal.

Dear Mr. Journal,

It’s been too long since I wrote about my feelings. It’s actually been about 4 months. So, here I go:

From floods to fighting with my best friend, this term has been something all right. I think I will begin with the flooding. It was just a normal afternoon up in the Library when I figured out that I needed something out of my trunk in the dorm. So, I got up, leaving everything in the Library, I made my way down to the common room. While I was up in the dorm getting the stuff out of my bag, I felt my feet getting wet. As I recall, I think my eyes almost popped out of my head when the thought of ‘THE DUNGEON IS FLOODING’ came into my head. I would have never thought, in my whole entire life, that Hogwarts would flood. Well, that proved Reese Selena Upstead wrong. Oh, yes, my last name changed. Well, you see, my mom got remarried over spring last year to this guy named Heath Upstead. And, before I went off for my fifth year at Hogwarts, Heath ended up adopting me and my brother. I was actually glad about this, because I didn’t like being a Northway. So, that’s how I turned into an Upstead! Did I mention that I also have two new brothers? Jake and Dale Upstead. Dale is just the cutest thing and Jake is cool to hang out with. We’re just all one, big family.

Wait…I just got off subject. We shall now go back to the flooding. After the dungeons flooded, the kitchen level flooded! Now, the Hufflepuffs didn’t have a common room. But, no worries! The Slytherins moved in with the Gryffindors and the Hufflepuffs moved in with the Ravenclaws. The Gryffindor common room is so different from ours, but I love it.

After the kitchen level flooded, the ground level started to flood! It was getting scary at this point. Where were we supposed to eat? HOW WAS I GOING TO GET TO HONEYDUKES?! I needed my chocolate frogs. I doubt anyone wants to see Reese Selena Upstead when she doesn’t have chocolate for days. To make things even more interesting, the Giant Squid visited the entrance hall. Cool, right? Anyways, that’s all the flooding I’m going to talk about now. I want to tell you about the fight with Torin now.

I like this guy named Jack Fritzera. And, Torin knew this. Torin knew I liked him and he went off and told Jack I liked him. How uncool was that? So, just like me, I got revenge. Poor little 4th year Hufflepuff didn’t know what was going to hit him. Even though Torin said he was only trying to help me, he SHOULDN’T have told Jack. So, I went off and told Bunbury that Torin liked her. Was that the right thing to do? Probably not, but oh well. Next time, Torin will learn not to tell my secrets. I was hoping that Torin wouldn’t know that I told Bunbury, because Bunbury was suppose to let him off easly. She was supposed to say stuff like “Maybe if I was younger, we could date” and whatnot. But, nooooo, Torin had to show up in the greenhouse and hear EVERYTHING. This was the point where we ended up fighting. Torin got mad that I told Bunbury and we had a fight at Hogsmeade and I felt like our friendship ended. After the fight at Hogsmeade, I never talked to Torin until 4 weeks passed. Torin found me and apologized for telling Jack and I apologized for telling Bunbury. I’m happy that that fight didn’t last longer. I was starting to miss talking to Torin. He was/is one of my bestest friends, besides Anna.

That’s all for now. Unfortunately, I got to get back to studying for my OWLs.
