They walked downstairs and through to the kitchen.
“Ginny! You look fantastic!” Hermione squealed from the kitchen table. Mrs Weasley had de- bearded Fred and George no longer had a black eye.
“Thanks, Hermione! I'll talk to you when we get back, okay? Or Harry'll start moanin that we're gonna be late...” Ginny said, as Hermione nodded at her. Ron caught Harry's eye and sliently started to ommunicate with him. Harry nodded slightly and tapped his pocket. Then he turned and spoke to the room.
“Right, Mrs Weasle, you know whats happening?” Harry said as Mrs Weasley nodded and smiled at him. “Well, then. Shall we go?” He asked Ginny, who nodded and started to walk towards the door.

Once they had walked to the end of the road, Harry knocked on a car window. The side door opened and Harry turned to Ginny.
“Here we are... Our first transport...” He said smiling as se climbed into the car. Harry clibed i afterwards and pulled the door shut.
“This is only taking us to a safer location.” He pointed out as she went to speak. She looked out the window and watched as thy entered the motorway.
“Do you remember when you first came to visit?” Ginny asked randomly, as she turned back to look at Harry.
“Didn't i arrive in a flying car and get Ron and the twins in trouble?” Harry asked as he thought back.
“Yeah... Remember when we went to Diagon Alley? You got lost?” She added as he shook his head.
“Oh yeah. And your dad had that fight in Florish and Blotts...” Harry said as he started to laugh. “Why?”
“Well, i just remembred that when Malfoy started on you there, that was the first time i spoke in front of you...” She said quietly as her gaze returned the window.
Harry put his hand on hers and squeezed it. “And Malfoy kinda said something i wanted to happen... Remember?” He said as she turned to face him.
When she shook her head, he pulled her closer to him and placed his hand round her waist. “When you stuck up for me, he said that I'd got myself a girlfriend... And inside, i was seretly wishin that it was true... but i didn't even know you. To me you wer Ron's little sister, but now, your Ginny Weasley, and my life...” He said as she looked up at him, smiling warmly.
“oh, i almost forgot,” Ginny said, as she curled her feet up underneath her and layed her head on Harry's chest. “What do you want for your birthday? It's only two days away...” she said as she looked up at Harry who was looking out the window.
“Oh, suprise me...” Harry said as he looked down into the soft brown eyes staring up at him. Ginny thought for a moment, and decided that she needed Hermione's help.

Part 2...

Soon, the car had pulled into a side road and stopped. As Ginny stepped out the car, she found herself in a wood. She spun on the spot and looked up at Harry, who smilied and turned to look at the driver. The driver nodded and raised his wand. soon, Ginny could hear a slight humming noise coming from behnd them. As she turned around, a broomstick zoomed into their clearin and stopped, quivering slighty, beside Harry, who swung his leg over and held his hand out to Ginny.
“Come on Gin, give me your hand” He said as she stepped forwards a bit.
“But, my dress...” She started but Harry cut in.
“Sit sideways and hold on to me... You'll be fine. I Promise” he said as Ginny slipped her hands round Harrys waist and held on for dear life as he kicked off.
A while later, Ginny saw a hill with a tree sitting on the the top. “Harry? where are we?” Sh said as she looked down on a lare field full of green grass.
“Just behind the wood which is near the park i used to sit in until you came and got me...” Harry said smiling as they hit the ground.

(Skippin a bit)

Harry had let Ginny talk without interupting her. Now it was his turn to talk...
“You know, it feels like i've known ou all my life and i dont know why...” Harry said staring towards the trees a short distance away.
“But that just makes me want to send more time with you... and i was wondering how much time you wanted to spend together?” Harry could feel Ginny's gaze on the side of his face, but he didn't turn to face her.
“Harry... I- I don't understand? What are you saying?” Her voice held curiosity and worry. What did he mean?
Harry had turned to face her now, with a dermined look in his eye.
“Before this, us, i was walkin past a muggle jewellry store and something caught my eye. So i went ack to the Dursleys' and got my money...” arry had turned back to gaze over to the trees in the background.
Ginny's face gave away her ractions to what Harry was saying... He was plainly scaring her. But Harry couldn't se her face and he carried on talking.
“I walked back to the store ans went inside. The shop keeper asked if he could help me and i told him that something had already caught my eye and i wanted it, but i wanted to add more to it so that it expresed what i wanted to feel with the girl i loved...” He looked at Ginny and smiled so that she knew not to be scared. “So i bought it and the shop keeper added to it..” Here, Harry pulled his hand out of his pocket, and with it, the small rectangular box.

OMG! What is it? Is it a necklace? Is it a bracelet? Is it a...ring?????

Sorry it's so short but i'm just draggin them on and on and on

Ginny looked from Harry to the box in his hand and then back to Harry. She now understood the seretive manner and the explination. “Harry, w-” but Harry cut her up.
“Don't,” he said softly and his voice made Ginny's spine tingle. “Just, say that you'll always be mine...” Harry said, as he cocked his head like a child observing something intresting.
“Harry, I've always been yours... And i always will... No- one can change the way i feel abut you...” Ginny said definently as she sat up straighter and looked at him.
Harry smiled and opened the lid of the box. Ginny looked down and gasped. There, sitting in the box, was a silver chain with a gold rose pendant attached to it. Ginny could see where the shop keeper had added to it because when Harry lifted it clear of it's box, Ginny glimpsed the back where a 'G' had been engraved and a lightining bolt was going through it. A solitary tear rolled down her cheek as Harry placed the necklace round Ginny's neck and did up the clasp.
The necklace swung down and rested on Ginny's chest and she looked down at it. Harry watched as another tear slid down her face and fell on the rose.
Harry waited for Ginny to say something, but althouh she opened her mouth several times, she couldn't speak, so she closed it again. Harry smiled at her and understood to happy for words so he looked away so that she steady herself.
As he looked back to the trees, he was thrown sideways as Ginny threw herself at him and hugged him so much Harry thought that she would suffocate him. But he didn't care, he hugged her back and laughed.

The Burrow came into view and Ginny looked up. “Back already?” She had been resting her head on Harry's shoulder and looking at her necklace.
“Yeah, and just in time for dinner” Harry said smiling as the car pulled into the driveway. Ginny started laughing and sat up straight. They climbed out of the car and started to walk towards the backdoor when they heard a clatter from above.
“GINNY!”
“HARRY!” They looked up to see Ron and Hermione hanging out a window, broad rins visible on their faces.
“Come downstairs” Ginny called back as sh placed her hand on the door handle. She didn't really want to shout for the whole village to hear.
They walked into the kitchen and Ginny perched herself on the counter as Harry lent up against it. Her hand raised to the chain around her neck while the other one searched for Harry's to pull him closer. As she found it, the door burst open to reveal Ron and Hermione. Hermione headed straight over to Ginny where she started talking quietly. Ron, however, walked over to Harry and and just stood there.
“What?” Harry said as he looked at his best friend who just smiled at him. “Whatever it was, I didn't do it!” Ginny heard this comment and started laughing.
“What is it?” Harry said again as he squeezed Ginny's hand softly. Ron looked at Harry once more and then signalled that they would talk outside. Harry was totally confused and scared at the same time. Wh wouldn't Ron talk in th same room as te girls? Was he going to shout at him? Ginny must of noticed something beause she bent down to his ear and whispered to him.
“It's okay. We'll be able to hear him if he shouts and I'll jinx him for it...” Harry laughed quietly as he kissed her cheek.
“Don't worry your pretty little head, I'll sort it out... And don't jinx him till we're at school. I don't want you expelled” Harry whispered back as he stood to leave with Ron. inny giggled and kissed hs cheek then turned to carry on talking to Hermione.
Ron was already walking through the doorway as Harry started walking towards it. As he reached it, he turned to see Ginny and Hermione watching him. He winked and then walked through to where Ron stood waiting.
“What?” Harry said as he approached him. “Well...” Was all Ron gave him. Harry looked at Ron, a blank expression on his face. Ron sighed and contiuned. “How did it go?” Harry sighed in relief and smiled.
“Alright actually. Nothing out of the ordinary happened apart from where she almost suffocated me with happiness... I gave her the necklace today...” He added to remove the look of total confusion off Ron's face.
“Oh yeah. I saw it just now. So did you tell her?” Ron looked at Harry and guessed the answer from his face.
“I- I couldn't. It didn't feel right. She did say that she had always loved me since she first saw me and that she always would, but i couldn't tell her. I was going to but i changed my mind and didn't say anything. I might wait until it feels right” Harry confessed. Ron knew what he was talking about. Knew exactly what he felt.
“Don't worry about it. You might want to start worrying about it if you haven't said anything to her before school starts though. Just in case any boys get the wrong idea” Ron said with a serious look on his face, which didn't last long as it broke and gave way to a smile. Harry smiled back and decided to change the subject from him and Ginny.
“Have you told Hermione yet?” At these words, Ron's smile vanished, his ears turned red and his face slowly turned a pinky colour.
“Told her what? I haven't got anyhing to tell her... Why would you say that? I don't th- Is it that obvious?” He said as Harry raised an eyebrow. When he nodded, Ron fell into a chair and covered his face with his hand. “I wanna tell her but she might not like me the same way...” He said to his fingers.
“Look, Ginny and Hermione are close, so i could get Gin to talk to Hermione and then what she finds out, I'll tell you” Harry said as he sat down next to Ron. hen he nodded, Harry rasped his shoulder. “Oh lighten up! Dinners nearly done and your mums doing pie again!” This seemed to cheer Ron up and he laughed.
“Right, well, I'm oing upstairs so that I'm nowhere where mum can rope me into helping with dinner. See you later” And with that, Ron made his way to the stairs and climbed out of sight.
Knowing that the girls would eventually walk past the living room, Harry waited on the couch. He thought about what him and Ron had just talked about and how he was going to convince Ginny to et Hermione to confess about how she felt for Ron. He knew Ron was right about the boys at school. Ginny was popular with them but she was his. He needed to tell her soon but didn't know how. After all, he was only 15. Well, nearly. He knew that if he said it all at once it would be over whelming, so he decided to scale it down. He had already given her the necklace, so he might as well wait until her birthday for the next step. Then, it was up to fate to decide what happened after that.

Gasp! What's he going to tell her?! It sounds so serious! Abi, you can't leave it there! I have to know!
I'm going to worry about this now!

As he sat there and looked into the fire, he heard Mrs Weasley approach the room, talking to someone. She rounded the corner and Harry was that she was talking to Ron. She must have been oon her wa downstairs as Ron was walking upstairs. As they passed, Mrs Weasley waved at Harry, who waved back, and Ron merely role his eyes. Harry had the impulse to laugh as they walked past, but controlled it as the two girls came through the kitchen door giggling. He lent back into the ouch and looked over at them.
“Gin?” She turned to look at him from the stairs, her foot on the bottom step.
“Yes Harry?” He saw her fingers play oflty with the rose laying on her chest and smiled. He motioned with his head that he wanted her and she nodded.
“I'll talk to you after dinner Hermione” she said as she turned back into the room. Hermione's “okay” echoed down the stairs as Ginny walked over to Harry and sat down next to him. She rested her head on his houlder as his arm rested across hers.
“Can you do me a favour?” H said as he looked down at her. She nodded and continued to stare into the fire. “I need you to tell me how Hermione feels for Ron...” Her head lifted so she could look at him.
“Why?” He knew that Ron would kill him fo this hen he found out but Harry couldn't lie to her. Her eyes were so soft and loving that one look would have Harry tellin her everything. and thats what happened.
“Ron likes Hermione. I mean he LIKES her. He has since the first day he met her. He wants to tell her but somehow he thinks that she doen't like him back. I know that she likes him as a friend and maybe a bit more but i don't know if i's the same as how Ron fels for her. I don't really like the idea of walking up to her and saying 'hey Hermione, do you love Ron?' coz i know i'll mess it up. But you won't. I was wondering if you would for me...” Harry's babbling was drowned out by Ginny's giggles.
“Harry, you know i'll talk to her about it! I was going to talk to her about it tonight anyway” She said as she lent across his legs so her head was restin on the arm of the sofa. “But, only if you tell me hoe to get ese shoes off. The strap won't loosen” she lifted her foot into the air so that the shoe was glinting inoccently in thhe fire light. Laughing, Harry lent to his left and pushed a large sequin on the outside of her ankle. At his touch, the strap loosened and Harry ulled the shoe off.
“Here you go,” He said as he handed her the shoe laughing. “Need help with the other one?” She was laughing as she nodded and lifted her other leg so he could reach that shoe too. As he pulled it off and anded it to her, he smiled evilly.
“What are you smiling at?” she said as she controlled her laughter and sat up.
“Oh, this...” And with that, Harry lunged and started tickling her.
“Harry! Stop, Stop, Stop! Harry, Please!” She said as he pinned her to the sofa and started attackng her sides, laughng as she squirmed undrneath him trying to esacpe.
“You can't get away and you know it Gin, so stop moving! OW!” He laughed as Ginny's hand hit him in the stomach.
“Don't make me get you!” She laughed as he grabbed her hands so she couldn't punch him again.
“You couldn't even if you tried!” Harry teased and stuck his tounge out at her, which she mimicked.
She tried to throw im off her, and succeded. He roled off oto te floor where Ginny pounced and started tickling him.
“Okay, okay, I'm sorry!” He gasped as she tickled him neck with her finger. She laughed and sat up, but didn't get off him in case he launched a new attack. He sat up and wrapped his arms round Ginny's waist and pulled her closer to him. She rested her head on his shoulder as she placed her arms round his neck.
“I let you do that” Harry whispered. She chuckled but didn't move. This is what she loved. Sitting with Harry and having his warm, strong arms pull her closer to him.
“Awww, thats a heart warming sight. But do you think you could let each other go so you can gt i here and have something to eat?” Rons voice washed over them and Ginny still didn't move. She wanted to stay here forever.
“Come on Gin, I'd rather not put up with Ron killing me tonight because we turned up late for dinner...” Harry said to her softly.
“Mmmmmmm” Ginny said as she slowly pulled away from him.
“Quick, or I'll get you after dinner as well...” Harry said trying to make her move faster.
“You couldn't even if you tried” she replied tiredly as she stood up and smoothed her dress down. arry stood up and took hold of her hand and walked towards the kitchen, where the smell of Mrs Weasley's home- made shepards pie drew them closer.

Well... i think the next post will be Harry's birthday- eve... and his birthday... See yous later

Chapter 22

Ginny had cornered Hermione the night before about Harry's present. This however, did not help her. She couldn't think on what to get him. She was thinking of all the things she could get when she walked into th kitchen. Her eyes fell on Harry at the table and all te thoughts were wiped out her head. She walked over and sat down next to him.
“Hey Harry” She said as she kissed his cheek and pulled a plate of pancakes towards her.
“Hey Gin, What you up to today?” he said as he sneaked one of her pancakes onto his plate.
“Oi! Will you leave my food alone!” he said as she playfully slapped his hand away. “I'm not doing anything today. Why?” Harry just shrugged as he stuffed his face full of Ginny's pancake. She rolled her eyes and started on her own. Then Harry nudged her. She choked and looked at him. He nodded his head towards the door and she turned and saw Ron and Hermione talking and laughing as they came down the stairs.
“Oh no! I forgot to talk to Hermione about what we talked about yesterday! We were talking and it just slipped my mind!!” Ginny said as she hit her head on the table.
“Hey, it doesn't mean you have to knock yourself out just 'cos you forgot! You can talk to her whenever you want! And i was wndering if you'd come into town with me today for your mum” Harry said as he grabbed Ginny's shoulders and pulled her up again. She smiled, nodded and rubbed her forehead as Ron and Hermione joined them.
“Alright you two?” Ron said as he leent aross Hermione for a plate. They nodded and Ron placed a whole pancake in his mouth.
“Ron! Use a knife and fork! And table manners!” Hermione said with a look of total disgust on her face before turning her attention on the couple opposite her. “Ginny? what happened to your head?”
“What's the matter with it?” She said as she piked up a spoon to look at it.
“It's red!”
“Yeah, it runs in the family. It's her hair!” Ron said seriously as he picked up a cup of orange juice. Harry laughed as Ginny dropped the spoon because of her giggling when Hermione raised her eyebrows at him.
“Oh, very funny Ron” She said as she started on her own breakfast. At that moment Fred and Geore entered the room.
“Well, has anyone deided to leave us anything to eat or did you all let Ron eat it?” Ron looked up with a surprised look as Hermione, Harry and Ginny broke into laughter again.
“Oi! It's not always me you know! Harry! It's not funny!” he said affronted. Harry just shrugged as he tried to stop laughing. Once everyone had calmed down, Fred spoke up.
“Right, changing the subjet from Ron and his bottomless pit, What's everyone doing today?” It turned out that everyone was busy doing something and when Harry asked what it was, he got told it wasn't important.
“Well, me and Gin are gonna go into town and get the food shopping i think” Harry said as he put the empty plates in the sink. “I'm gonna go get changed and grab my bag then we'll go. Is that alright Gin?” She nodded and he walked towards the door.
“Bag?” George questioned as Harry walked past him.
“Invisibilty Cloak” was all he said as he walk out the door.
As he walked up the stairs, Harry could of sworn he heard lowered vices whispering coming from the kitchen.

Chapter 23
“Hey Gin, what was you lot talking about when i walked out the room this morning?” They were walking along the road hand in hand as the leaves fell off the trees around them.
“Oh, that... I dunno. I wasn't really listening” Ginny said as she kicked some of the fallen leaves on the ground. A wave of gold and bronze washed over they're fett as they carried on. Harry nodded and droped the subject.
“Why did you have the bring the Cloak?” Ginny asked as they rounded a corner.
“In case there's anyone or anything I can't be seen by” Harry said calmly. Ginny froze. “Gin? Are you okay?” Harry had stopped by now as well and turned to her. She wore a look of total fear and her face had paled.
“Oh Gin, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you!” Harry panicked as he wrapped his arm round her.
“I- I'm okay. I- I mean, they wouldn't come h- here would they? They c- can't knnow that your staying with us!” She stuttered as she looked behind her.
“I know. But I'm taking the Cloak everywhere with me now. Just in case” he told her, squeezing her shoulders. inny loosened up a bit and they carried on walking down the path.
“Harry?” Ginny looked up at him. He didn't look down at her though.
“Mmmmmmmm?” His voice was happy as he linked hands with her. He was focusing on something in front of them and was smiling his heart warming smile.
"Are you worried?" His smile faltered a slight bit as he put his arm round her shoulders and held her close.
"When I'm alone, then I'm terrified. But not for my self. For those I love. I've been up against danger every other day so I'm used to it and the pressures tat come with it. But I'm always worried then those I love are away from me so I can't see if they're okay. Look at my second year-" Ginny pointedly looked away and blushed as she remembered all the details- "I thought I would be sick because I didn't know if you was okay because I wasn't next to you. I couldn't do anything until I reached you. And then I had to fight Riddle first. I only got through that because of you" He said as he squeezed her shoulders.
"Harry, I-"
"It doesn't matter though, 'coz I've got you and you are never leaving my side when anything happens" He said as he glanced at her. He had given one of the many hints he had but she didn't seem to of figured it out.
"Harry, I would never leave you! Not for a million years and you know that!" Ginny still sounded scared but there as that steadiness in her voice again. "But can we at least change the subject. I don't want to talk about it anymore. As long as I know that you're not worried then I'm not" She said, smiling again.

Oh my gosh that was so cute. I so loved it. it was adorable. I agree with everyone above Ron and Hermione need to get it togehter. And harry and Ginny are just so cute. So can't wait for more when you can.

Anyway, The story!

As Harry walked away with her brothers, Ginny turned to start looking for Ron and Hermione. As sh reached the back door, she heard Harry shout something to her. She waved her hand and opened the door.

She descended the steps and walked into the garden, looking round her for any sign of her brother or her best friend.

"HERMIONE! RON! ARE YOU OUT HERE?" She shouted as she reached the bushes that run round the edge of the garden. Nothing. Ginny shook her head and headed off towards the other side of the house.

As she passed the open kitchen window, she heard Fred laughing and George talking. She stopped and listened as Harry' voice washed over her.

"Well... I've been busy doing other things you know! Don't pull that face Fred! It's not all spending time with Ginny! I've been doing homework, helping out around the house and other stuff! It's not my fault I forgot my birthday is it!"

Shaking with silent giggles, Ginny moved away from the house and started off towards the orchard they use to play Quidditch. She was half way there when voices caught her ear.

"It's not that hard Hermione! Just throw it!" Ron's voice, carried to her on wind, sounded amused as Hermione's voice echoed over the field.

"It IS that hard Ron! How can I throw a ball and not fall twenty feet towards the ground at the same time! Why did I even say that I'd help you practice Quidditch anyway!" Her voice sounded upset and moody, which Ron's laughter was probably the cause of.

"RON! HERMIONE! YOU OVER HERE?" Ginny shouted out so that they knew she was near. She heard a 'Yeah' from Ron and heard Hermione call her.

"Ginny! Come here!" Ginny smiled and walked into the clearing. Above her was Ron, hovering near the tree they used as goal posts, and Hermione holding a ball, well it was really an apple, swaying from side to side and holding onto the broom for dear life.

"What?" Ginny questioned as she tried to control her laughter as Ron had to help Hermione towards the ground.

"You practice with him... Why are you shaking your head?" Hermione said as her hands rested on her hips and she glared at Ginny.

"I can't. I've got stuff to do and I promised Harry that w would all play together and Harry's waiting for us up at th house..." Hermione looked at hr with an eyebrow raised "Okay, I've run out of excuses but I'm still not doing it! Anyway, Harry and I come back from th village and you two are on. We run into Fred and George who tell us you disappeared when you spoke privatively earlier on... So spill the gossip" Ginny said to Hermione as they walked back to the house together and left Ron to put the brooms away.

Sorry if it's not very good... My dad only gave me 15 minutes on the computer
