Chapter 36
 

I got my house!! YAY! And in celebration you can have a Chapter!!

~*~

Soon, Harry and Ginny had gotten fed up of saying the same things over and over again.

"Jamie, if you ask us that one more time, I swear..." Ginny threatened as Alicia laughed at the thoughts going through Ginny's head.

"It won't work Gin" Alicia sang as Jamie stuck his tounge out at her. "He can't keep any secrets from me... And he wouldn't anyway" She said as she hugged his arm.

"You know, going out with a telepathic , a Metamorphmagus and a physic does have both advantages and disadvantages..." Jamie said as Alicia played around with Ginny, changing the colour of her hair and eyes to whatever Ginny said.

"Yeah, but you still love me..." Alicia said as her eyes went from blue to yellow. Ginny and Harry laughed as Jamie opened his mouth, closed it and shrugged.

"I'm going to bed... See you all later" Hermione announced as she stood up. Ron nodded and pulled her down to kiss her.

"Alright Hermione, see you later" Alicia said as she turned her hair back to the red and blue. Jamie turned to Harry and spoke quietly.

"If he can take control of you like that, why is it he didn't hurt anyone?" He had emotions in his voice which Harry couldn't place.

"I- I dunno" Was all he said as Hermione disappeared up the stairs. Ginny held the top of her left arm while Ron glanced at Harry.

"Is there really any point? You know I already know the truth..." Alicia said as she raised her eyebrow at them. She turned to Ron and Ginny, who moved her hand away, very slowly to reveal five finger print bruises.

"But, that's not the only thing is it? Something else happened, didn't it?" Jamie said as Alicia run her fingers softly over the marks.

Ron looked up at Jamie with a shocked expression. "Jamie, you've been hanging round with Al too long! You beginning to pick up some of her traits! First this, nex- I mean... No there's not!" He said quickly as Harry threw him a look which plainly said 'SHUT UP!'.

"Tell us Harry! We have a right to know!" Jamie said as Alicia rested her head on his shoulder. "Al! Tell him!" He said as he twisted her hair round his fingers.

'Harry, he does have a point... What if it happens again? How will we know what to do? I'm not even going to try and find out. I'll let you tell us' Alicia's unsaid words echoed through Harry's head and he looked back at her.

'Alicia, it's not that important! It was just another vision-' Harry started to think but Alicia's shout cut through them.

"WHAT!" She sat up straight and stared at Harry, who had looked angry with himself for letting the words string together. "What did I say about them? Hey? TELL ME STRAIGHT AWAY! Well? Didn't I? Jamie, Harry had another vision..." She said, answering his unsaid question without turning to look at him.

"Harry, you didn't?" When he nodded, Jamie shook his head and closed his eyes. "You know she gets all 'Grrrrr' when you keep the things from her... Com on, what'd you see?" He said, waving one hand and resting the other on Alicia's shoulder.

"Broken images. Hogwarts, Ginny, Ron and Hermione, here again with flashes of light everywhere, Neville and Luna, then Gin again..." Harry said, wishing he didn't have to as the images returned to his head.

Alicia was watching Harry very carefully and sighed. "It wasn't like what they did to get him at the Ministry Ron. This is real..." her voice held sadness. Then, something which rarely occurs happened. A single tear run down Alicia's cheek.

Straight away, they knew something was wrong. Jamie pulled her into a hug, Ginny rushed to her other side, Harry froze in shock and Ron's eye widened.

"S- sorry... It's just that... What you saw did h- happen... WILL happen..." Alicia mumbled into Jamie's shoulder as she tried to calm down. "No- one's supposed to know about it though..." She said as she turned to face them. Jamie's arms still wrapped round her.

Her face screwed up in frustration as she thought. The four people round her just sat, waiting, till it hit. Which wasn't very long. But it didn't hit her.

"Oh, you've nearly got it sweetie..." Ginny grabbed her arm as she looked up in horror.

"What are you doing here?" Jamie said as he stood up and looked at Harry. Ron joined Jamie as they stood there, in front of Ginny and Alicia.

"Don't worry boys. I won't hurt anyone- yet..." Voldemort's voice echoed round them and Alicia stood silently to stand behind Jamie.

"Your not welcome here. Leave" She said in a calm voice. Harry smiled but it didn't reach his eyes as he looked over her, then the other three.

"Ahh yes... A Champion, Two Warriors, Two Protectors and a Seer... How convenient... But we have someone missing... Where's the Mudblood?" He hissed and Jamie's temper broke.

"Don't you dare call Hermione that! She is better than you!" He spat as he drew his wand and pointed it at Harry. Ron and Ginny followed suit but Alicia stepped forwards.

"Oh, they would. They know it's not Harry so they would" She said as she continued to step forwards until she was right in front of Voldemort, who just smiled.

"A telepathic physic? Very handy... Especially for the future... Or haven't you told them?" Voldemort laughed as he ran a hand across her cheek.

"I didn't-" But before Alicia could say anything else, her eyes shut and she gasped. She fell to the floor and threw her hands out.

"Alicia? Are you okay?" Ginny said as she dropped next to her. She went to lay her hand on her shoulder but Jamie stopped her.

"NO! Don't touch her! It's a vision. And a big one too" He said as he turned to watch Voldemort sit down on the couch. "You... This is because of you..." He said, pointing at Alicia who now had tears running down her face as she mumbled words to herself.

"Jamie, just leave him..." Ron said as he stood behind Ginny, keeping his eye on them and the stairs. "It's not worth it mate"

"Ron, I don't care. He knew that Harry was with Ali and that's why he's here!" He said angrily as he turned to Ron.

"D- don't fight... It's w- what he wants" Alicia said as she grabbed Jamie's fist. She turned to Voldemort and her face screwed up in concentration. Her red and blue hair changed to black. He raised an eyebrow at her. "You don't know what your dealing with... Leave. Now" She said as her anger started to build up inside.

"But, I haven't heard your version of what will happen... And that's why I'm here" He said as he observed her. He watched as her left hand kept balling into a fist then relaxing, the way her foot tapped, her eyes turning to slits as she looked at him and her right hand being held by Jamie's left.

"Leave. I'm warning you" She spat as a smile crept onto Harry's face as those red eye's stayed on their hands. "Now"

"Aww, doesn't the Seer want to hear what I have to say?" Voldemort coaxed. Jamie's hand tightened round Alicia's as she started shaking.

"No. She said leave. So leave" Jamie said calmly, his eyes turning to slits as his anger took the better of him.

"I don't think I will. Your girlfriend here is about to lose it completely... So I'll stay" Voldemort said and he lent back int the couch with his arms crossed. At this, Alicia dropped Jamie's hand and stepped forwards.

"I told you to leave. If you won't on our own accord, I'll make you" She said, her hair changing to all different colours quickly as it whipped round her. Jamie and Ron walked towards her and placed their hands on her shoulders but she brushed them off.

"No. I want to do this" She said as she turned her head to look at them. As Jamie looked up into her eyes, they turned a vivid red and then a deep blue.

"Okay..." He said and she turned away from him. As soon as she was concentrating on Voldemort, Jamie took his chance. "Her powers are totally out of control! If she's not careful, she could kill herself..." He whispered as he retreated to the other couch with Ginny and Ron.

"Up" Alicia said as she swung her arm up. Voldemort was forced up as his smirk turned into shock. He obviously didn't expect this kind of power from her. "Now, Leave" She said as she waved her arm as if signaling for someone to leave. Voldemort was forced off his feet and made contact with the far wall. He slid down it and lay crumpled on the floor.

Alicia slowly turned on the spot, her hair still whipping at her face, still changing colour rapidly, as well as her eyes. She took one look at her three friends on the couch before falling to her knees.

At this, Jamie knew it was safe and he threw himself off the couch and landed beside her.

"Ali, it's me Jamie" he whispered as he placed a hand on her shoulder. Her hair, suddenly still, was now a plain brown colour as it covered her face. Her shoulders were shaking and Jamie knew she was crying. He looked towards Harry, who was slowly coming round as Ginny sat next to him talking softly and Ron stood behind her.

"It's okay. He's gone. Harry's back now... It' okay" He said as he wrapped her up in his arms. She lay her head on his chest and cried hard and long.


Ginny looked over at the two between the couches as Harry opened his eyes.

"G- Gin?" He croaked as he tried, and failed, to sit up. His hands rested on his forehead while Ginny explained what happened, leaving some details out.

"But, why did he leave just like that?" Harry asked as Ron helped him up. He lent on a chair for support as he balanced himself but was soon engulfed in a hug from Ginny.

"Now's not the right time to explain Harry..." Ron said as he jerked his head towards the couches. Harry looked over and watched as Jamie helped Alicia onto one of the couches and was talking softly to her.

The three of them made their way towards the empty couch and sat down quietly and carefully, trying not to scare Alicia, who looked up with fear and sadness in her eyes. She let her eyes wonder over Ginny and Ron but she focused on Harry.

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to... I lost control... He was pushing me over the edge... Sorry" She said over and over again as fresh tears formed in her eyes. Harry shook is head at her words.

"Don't be. Don't apologise. Whatever you did helped" He said as he let a smile cross his face. "You did the right thing Al, believe me-" But Alicia cut him off.

"I didn't..." She said, shaking her head and let the tears fall from her eyes as she looked down. "I didn't mean to... That wasn't me!" She cried as Harry moved next to her.

"Look, it's okay. It doesn't matter anymore" He said as he placed a hand on her arm. "Gin, come here. Alicia, Ginny will help you. Go and rest. Clam down a bit. We'll talk about it tomorrow" And Harry stood up and walked away, towards the boys dormitories.

Chapter 38
 

Alicia, Hermione, Luna and Ginny slowly made their way into the office. At the desk sat the three boys and Dumbledore.

"Ahh, yes. Jamie here told me to expect you four... I'm guessing you came here to tell me Voldemort has been possessing you Harry?" He said kindly, waving a hand for them to sit down and for Harry to talk.

"Well, yes. Bu-" Harry began but Dumbledore spoke over him.

"I have suspected for a time now that since the Ministry, he will try to possess you again-"

"You knew? You knew and you didn't warn me?" Harry yelled, making Luna jump.

"Harry, understand that any contact made would of been intercepted by Death Eaters. Voldemort would then use his ability to possess you in a violent way just to hurt you. However, he is not" Dumbledore's voice was kind but it held a strict tone.

"Not yet... He wants to understand us first" Alicia said as she stood up. "Sir, when he possessed Harry last night, he touched my face and it gave me a vision. I saw everything through Harry's eyes. He was forced to watch as Voldemort used him to hurt us because of the prophecy-" Before Alicia could carry on, she was interrupted.

"Prophecy? The prophecy was smashed at the Ministry. Voldemort knows that-" Harry questioned as he turned to look at her.

"Harry, there is more than one prophecy which includes Voldemort. He did not know that you was involved in this one until after he had tortured the truth about the smashed one out of Lucius. I'm surprised that you have not told them about Alicia. After all, the person that stated it was your m-"

"Yes I know!" Alicia said quickly as she turned away from Dumbledore. "I didn't think that they needed to know! I thought that if I didn't tell them, it wouldn't be us!" She said as her anger got the better of her.

"Alicia, look at me" Dumbledore said quietly. Her fists curled themselves into balls as she obeyed the order. "You know that is not how it works. Not telling them would mean that they would not understand everything around them, you know that"

Jamie pulled Alicia back onto her chair, worried that she would do something she would regret later, before turning to Dumbledore.

"This prophecy, it has something to do with the seven of us?" He asked as Alicia grabbed his hand. Dumbledore nodded.

"From the beginning?" He said as he gestured towards Alicia, who sighed before speaking.

"When my mother was pregnant with me, she made the prophecy. It confused everyone as she was a Muggle, but the teachers here knew that I would be a witch when I was born. They placed my mum and dad under close watch until I was born. So, in a way, I made the prophecy about us and Voldemort" She said awkwardly as she refused to look anyway but her knees.

Jamie tightened his grip round Alicia's hand in surprise while the others stared, dumb- struck, as she continued talking to her knees.

" 'When the prophecy is smashed during battle, Evil shall uncover their secret. One Champion, Two Warriors, One Healer, Two Protectors and a Seer join forces and lead the battle against Evil until it is destroyed. The Champion shall defeat the Evil with the two Warriors by his side. The Protectors will watch over the group and fight alongside them. The Healer will make sure those who are hurt become healthy again as she will fight against the Evil. The Seer will guide her friends through the battle, while fighting with them.' " She recited a she looked up.

"Um... Wow..." Was all Harry could say. The news Alicia had said seemed to have the same effect on all of them.

"One Champion..." She paused as she looked Harry, "Two Warriors..." She said as she looked from Ron to Jamie, "One Healer..." She nodded her head once in Luna's direction, "Two Protectors..." She turned to look at Hermione and Ginny, "And a Seer..." She said as she pointed at herself. "The 'Evil' mentioned is-"

"Voldemort..." Harry spat as he slid down the wall behind them. Jamie rubbed the back of Alicia's hand with his thumb as he turned towards Dumbledore.

"So... Voldemort knows it's us?" When Dumbledore nodded, Jamie shook his head slightly. "But... Why didn't he attack us? It would of made more sense to attack us when we didn't know than to wait until we do..." He said slowly, trying to make sense of it.

"He thinks I'll mess up. I'm supposed to guide us through the battle and make the choices and he thinks that I'll make the wrong choices. I know that I made the wrong choice by not telling you when I first met you..." She said as she rested her head against Jamie's shoulder.

"Al, you and Hermione are the brightest witches of our age! You could never make the wrong choices!" Harry said as she swung in her seat to look at him.

"But I didn't tell you about the prophecy-"

"Until it was the right time! If you had told us about this prophecy, Voldemort would never of gone after the one that smashed and we would probably be dead!" Harry said as she tried to argue with him.

"But I-" She said, again trying to argue with him but Jamie gripped her shoulders and his voice stopped her.

"Alicia Luna, Do not argue! Take it as we say, you have done nothing wrong! You always think carefully about decisions when it involves us and you always will!" Alicia sat there looking down at the space between their seats as tears welled in her eyes.

"I'm sorry..." She said in a small voice. Harry looked over at Ginny, who had a look of total shock on her face. Looking over towards Ron, Luna and Hermione, Harry saw the same look on their faces as well.

Jamie had called Alicia her full name, which only happened if he was angry with her or someone else and she said something wrong, and that was practically never.

"I think the seven of you should go to break. You have some talking to do and I have other things that need sorting out" Dumbledore said as he placed his hands together.

Chapter 39

The group slowly mad their way down the stairs and out into the corridor, which was slowly filling with students.

Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Luna walked ahead of Jamie and Alicia on their way towards the lake. Jamie had his arm round Alicia's shoulders and was guiding her along the corridor as she hung her head.

"Ali, I'm sorry about what I said back there... It was the only way I could get you to stop arguing... I didn't mean to upset you..." Jamie said quietly as they walked down the stone steps and onto the grass.

"I know... I just..." Alicia shrugged lightly and smiled. Jamie looked down at her.

"There we go... You look much prettier with a smile" He laughed as she pretended to be shocked.

"Jamie, are you saying that hen I'm not smiling I'm ugly?" She said, placing one hand on her hip and raising an eyebrow.

"No! I... Stop twisting my words!" He said, sticking his tounge out at her as she laughed at him.

"I see you two are back to normal..." Ginny said as she rolled her eyes at her friends. They had reached the lake and sat down on the bank. Luna, Hermione and Ron talking, Ginny and Harry watching as Jamie and Alicia pulled faces at each other before Jamie hugged her.

"Yup!" Alicia said with a smile on her face as she looked at Ginny over Jamie's shoulder. When he let go, Jamie had an evil smirk on his face.

"Jamie... Don't even think about it!" Alicia said as he advanced on her.

"Too late!" He shouted as he caught her and threw her in the lake. He was crying with laughter as her head emerged, coughing and spluttering, with a weed in her hair.

As retaliation, Ginny snuck up behind him and pushed him in but he grabbed the sleeve of her robe as he fell, making Harry grab her arm. Together the three of them fell in the lake beside Alicia.

Ginny and Harry emerged and started laughing as Jamie emerged right behind Alicia and pushed her back under.

Ron, Hermione and Luna were clever enough to move away from the edge of the bank as they rolled around laughing at their friends efforts to climb out of the lake. Once they had achieved that, they sat around talking for a while about nothing in particular.

Soon, the bell that signaled the end of lunch rang and the seven of them made their way to their next lesson. Harry, Ginny, Alicia and Jamie still soaking wet.

Ginny and Luna headed off for Potions while th others headed towards Charms. Sitting at the back of the classroom, they watched as the rest of the class entered the room.

"You know, I'm kinda cold..." Alicia said as she shivered lightly. Jamie and Harry agreed with her while Ron started laughing.

"Well, your robes are soaking wet for one thing!" Hermione said as she raised an eyebrow slightly. At that moment, Professor Flitwick entered the room

"Right, settle down please! Today we are going to practice the Summoning Spell. I know you did this two years ago but it will be part of your exam so I thought we could revise it" He said cheerfully. "Can anyone tell me how we use the spell? Miss Daniels?" He asked as Alicia put her hand up.

"To use the Summoning Spell, one must say the incantation Accio, followed by whatever object you would like" She said. Flitwick nodded at her before speaking.

"Well done Miss Daniels, well done. Can I ask why Mr Potter, Mr Starlight and yourself are soaking wet?" He said as he looked over at them, causing Ron to burst into pearls of laughter again.

"We had an accident with the lake on our way back for lesson. We thought we were running late and didn't have time to change into dry robes sir" Alicia lied as Harry stepped on Ron's foot to make him shut up.

"Very well..." Flitwick as he flicked his wand towards them. Their wet clothes went warm and dry immediately and the teacher turned his attention somewhere else before announcing that they were to practice by summoning objects from around the room.

Half way through the lesson, Alicia turned to talk to the others.

"You know, I've had an idea... We need to meet up somewhere after dinner so we can all talk" She said as she made a dictionary fly towards her from Neville's bag.

"How's the Room of Requirement?" Harry said as a chair flew past their table. Alicia nodded and started speaking quietly again.

Ginny picked up the chopped Daisy roots and went to drop half of them into the solution bubbling in the cauldron in front of here when Alicia's voice sounded in her head and made her jump, causing the whole lot to fall in.

"Ginny, meet us in the Room of Requirement after Dinner. I've had an idea about the Prophecy... Don't forget to tell Luna!"

Chapter 40

Harry, Ron, Hermione, Alicia and Jamie made their way to the seventh floor after dinner.

Alicia started pacing the space opposite the blank stretch of wall as she said the same thing three times over in her head.

'I want the DA headquarters with what we need'

As she opened her eyes, the wooden door appeared and the five of them rushed through it.

"The DA headquarters?" Ron said as he said down on his old chair. "Explain why we're back here..."

"Well... Let's wait till Ginny and Lu- They're outside" She said as she turned to wards the door. Hermione rushed forwards and opened the door.

"Ooh! Are we starting the DA again?" Luna said as she sat in her old chair.

"No. Well, yes. But with just us... The prophecy says that we're to fight in a battle... So w-" She said awkwardly, trying to find a way of describing her plan.

"We're going to practice in here so we're ready. Good idea. But do we have to start practicing this early?" Harry said as everyone made their way to their old seats from DA meetings.

"Yes. This battle is going to be bigger than anything we've dealt with. I've seen glimpses of it and from what I've seen, it's not very nice" Alicia said darkly. Hermione looked at her before speaking.

"How do we get hold of spell, jinxes and curses that we can use in a battle? I'm sure there isn't any in the library" As she said this, Alicia started laughing. "What?" She said loudly.

"We're not going to use the library in the main school Hermione... Did you not see the new doors when you came in?" She said, pointing to four new doors behind her as she stopped laughing. "One's a library, one's a training room, one's a mini hospital with loads of healing potions, one's a Potions room so we can make things we need and this is just an outer room where we can sit"

"What's the last door? That one over there?" Ginny asked as she pointed to on on the other side of the room.

"Erm... I'm not actually sure" Alicia said as she made her way towards it.

The others stood up and made their way towards the new rooms. Hermione went up to the door on the left, where a brass plaque held the word 'Library' and opened it. Shelves upon shelves of spell books lined the walls and in aisles down the center of the room.

Ginny and Luna opened the door with the plaque reading 'Medical Room'. Inside was an exact replica of the Hospital Wing but with seven beds not fifteen.

Harry and Ron headed towards the training room. It was like stepping back in time. It looked like the Great Hall when they were in second year and was in Dueling Club. There was a raised platform in the center of the room, and around the bottom was a wall of soft pillows in case anyone fell off.

Jamie opened the door with the plague 'Potion Room' and was surprised by what he saw. Instead of looking like the dungeons, he found himself in a like any other classroom. Shelves and cupboards lined the walls while four cauldrons sat in the middle of the room.

Alicia placed her hand on the handle to the extra room. There was no plaque or sign on this door saying what it was. Turning the handle, she walked into a small room, lined with shelves holding packs of cards, crystal balls and teacups. Cupboards showed to be full of food and cakes when opened. It was a cross between a tearoom, a Divination classroom and a games room.

Walking back into the outer room, Alicia met up with the others.

"Well... it's a Divination classroom, tearoom and games room..." She said, nodding head head towards it.

"The training room's exactly like the Great Hall during that Dueling club back in second year..." Ron said as he sat back down.

"The Healing room's a copy of the Hospital Wing and it has a bed for each of us..." Luna said in her misty voice.

"The library's much bigger than the schools and it's nothing but spell book" Hermione said as she turned a page of the book she had picked up.

"Well... We can't moan about the Potions room... It's much better than Snape's classroom" Jamie said. "and there's Potion books in some of the cupboards"

"Right then... I think we should go back to the common room... We'll meet here every other day after dinner..." Alicia said.

They made their way towards the common room, Harry telling Luna a shortcut towards Ravenclaw Tower, and sat in front of the fire.

"You know, I think I'll go to bed..." Alicia said as she yawned. Hermione and Ginny agreed with her.

"Alright... See you girls in the morning" Harry said as Jamie kissed Alicia goodnight.

"Yeah... Don't forget that we have Herbology first" Jamie said as Alicia walked away from him, her fingers brushing the top of his head. Harry kissed Ginny while Ron kissed Hermione, before the two girls followed Alicia up the stairs.

"We've got Herbology first?" Ron said as he stared into the fire. When Jamie nodded, Harry laughed.

"I bet it's gonna rain now... It's Double Herbology, then Double Care of Magical Creatures!"

"Well... I'm going to bed..." Ron said as he stood up. Jamie and Harry both stood and the three boys walked up the stairs to their dormitory.

ooooh, cool They have their own private school inside the Room of Requirement. I can't believe how much you've been writing Abi! I'm still kinda stuck on Two Houses at the moment. It's good to have an inspration burst like that. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Love the up date. wow love what was said for the profecy about the healer, protectors, ect. that was great. love it. I also think its ool that they have their own private school in the Room of Requirements.

Chapter 41

A couple of months had passed and the seven of them were in the Room of Requirement.

Harry, Ron, Ginny, Luna and Jamie sat talking in the outer room while Alicia and Hermione sat in the Potions Room.

"Alicia, why exactly are we making this? 'Add the Lacewing Flies then leave to stew' " Hermione asked as she read out instructions from one of the potion books.

"Because then you six can change your appearance if you have to" Alicia said as she searched one of the cupboards.

"Right... 'Add the chopped Daisy Roots and stir until solution turns black'... And we are we making a vanishing powder?" Hermione said as she picked up the book in front of another cauldron.

"So we can get away... Can you add the Daisy Roots for me? I can't find the Chomping Cabbage for the Transforming Concution..." Alicia said as she threw a bag across the room to Hermione and continued hunting. "Oh, this is stupid... Accio Chomping Cabbage!" A large green leaf flew across the room and landed on the chopping table.

" 'Stir Potion until clear then add Asphodel' " Hermione read from yet another book. "Alicia, why don't you take the Polyjuice Potion and the Vanishing powder while I take the Transforming Concution and the Stay- Still glue?" She said as she watched Alicia place the Cabbage in one of the cauldrons.

"Okay... ' Pour Acromantula Venom into solution and stir twice in a clockwise motion'... Accio Acromantula Venom... 'Add whole Shrivelfig to potion and stir till thick and then add Horned toad eyes'... Accio Shrivelfig, Wingardum Leviosa" Alicia said as she pointed her wand at the jar on the table, which rose and poured it's contents into one of the four bubbling cauldrons.

Outside, Ron had just reappeared from the Tearoom with a chocolate éclair.

"We've done the Bat Bogey Hex, Expelliarmus, Blocking jinx, Progeto, Accio, Stupefy, Rictusempra, Tarantallegra, Finite Incantatem, Serpentsortia, Bomb- Barda, Levicorpus and a few others... I'm sure they'll all come in handy... And Alicia can now do magic without her wand..." Harry said as he listed off the spells they had practiced so far.

"An wha r 'he 'irls ooin?" Ron said, his mouth full of chocolate and causing Jamie to start laughing.

"What?" Luna asked as Ron swallowed.

"And what are the girls doing?" He repeated as he pointed to the Potion Room.

"Making some potions we might need" Harry said as Ginny silently made one of the chairs knock Ron off his feet.

At that moment, a large bang and a lot of smoke told them the Potion Room door was kicked open.

"We've done three of the potions but the Polyjuice Potion needs to stew..." Hermione gasped as her and Alicia carried bottles and boxes across the room to the corner, where a cupboard door stood open waiting.

"Right... Jamie, can you take these?" Alicia asked as she nearly dropped two large boxes.

"What's in these?" Jamie asked as he took them of her and placed them on a shelf in the cupboard.

"One's vanishing Powder and the others Stay- Still Glue" Hermione said as she placed a handful of small bottle containing different colour liquids on the shelf. "That's the Transforming Concution and that's... the Polyjuice Potion" She said as Alicia appeared again, dragging a cauldron full of a mud like substance.

"Thanks Harry. Ron, can you put another cauldron in th Potion Room for us... We've still got a few more things to make..." She said as Harry helped her drag the cauldron into the cupboard.

"Alicia? Hermione? Do you have all four cauldrons going at the same time?" Ginny asked as Ron disappeared into the smoke filled room.

"Yup. It's really easy really... We just keep rotating round them until they're done" Alicia said as Hermione hurried after Ron's yell of pain.

"Do you want help?" Jamie asked as he sorted the cupboard out.

"ALICIA! COME HERE!"

"Yeah. Thanks... I'll meet you in there" She shouted over her shoulder as she ran to help Hermione.

Walking into the room, she found Ron pushing a cauldron into th empty space and Hermione levitating others back into the storage cupboard.

"Ron knocked them over n his attempt to pull out the bottom one..." Hermione said as she directed a smaller cauldron inside a bigger one.

"Why didn't you just levitate one off the top?" Alicia laughed as Jamie entered the room and helped Hermione re- stack them.

Ron mumbled something and they heard 'Didn't think to...', causing Alicia to start laughing and the cauldron she was levitating to fall to the floor.

"OI! Watch it Alicia!" Jamie shouted as the cauldron just missed his foot.

After twenty minutes of cauldron stacking and Alicia apologising, they started brewing the potions.

Harry, Ginny and Luna had disappeared into the library to find some more spells, Ron had gone to get another éclair and Hermione, Alicia and Jamie was half way finished with four new potions.

"Accio, Wingardum Leviosa" Jamie said as he pointed his wand at a jar on a shelf then at a large leaf on the table in front of him, which dropped neatly into the cauldron beside him.

Alicia ducked as the jar zoomed over her head as she stood on her toes to search the shelf for a empty bottle when a loud bang and a lot of black smoke erupted out of Jamie's cauldron.

"Err... Jamie, was that supposed to happen?" Hermione asked as she sucked the smoke out of the air with her wand.

"It says in the book to be careful, so I'm thinking yes?" He didn't sound too sure as he checked the cauldron's contents before adding the Armadillo Bile.

Alicia and Hermione scooped the liquids in their cauldrons into bottles as Jamie finished stirring his.

Carrying the bottles of red, blue, yellow and green Potions to the cupboard they heard Harry shout.

"You three okay? We heard a bang and coughing"

"Yeah... My potion exploded... that's all" Jamie shrugged as he placed the armful of bottle onto another shelf.

"I think we should stop now... It's getting late and Luna needs to get to Ravenclaw Tower..." Ginny said as she walked out of the library with a sheet of paper.

Chapter 42

Soon, they left for their right towers. The Gryffindor girls talking about heading straight for their dorms while the boys talked about Quidditch.

Luna reached the brass Eagle knocker without running into Filch or Peeves and knocked.

"Where do Vanished Objects go?" The familiar airy voice asked her.

"Shh! They go everywhere..." She hoped that Mrs Norris wasn't prowling near- by, the Eagles voice had definitely echoed round the corridor.

Slowly the door opened and she scurried in and up the stairs to her dorm.

"Where have you been Loony?" Charlotte's voice was agitated as Luna slipped into the fifth year dormitory.

"Out. Why do want to know Charlotte?" She asked politely as she changed into her pajamas.

"Out with who... You have no friends to hang out with Loony... Been walking on your own?"

"Actually, I've been out with Harry..." Luna said as she turned to face Charlotte. "And Ron, and Hermione, and Alicia and Jamie... Oh, and Ginny"

Charlotte looked at Luna with wide eyes. "Harry? Harry Potter?"

"Yep. The one and only... Shame I'm in Ravenclaw really, otherwise I wouldn't of been back now..." And with that Luna got into bed and drew the curtains on Charlotte's side.

"Wow Luna... Nicely said" Naomi whispered as she smiled over at her.

"Thanks" Luna said as she smiled back.


Alicia couldn't sleep. Every time she closed her eyes she would see one of her friends getting hurt. Shifting to her side, she glanced at the alarm clock's luminous digits. 10.05 pm.

She sighed as she sat up. Slowly and quietly, Alicia climbed out of bed and walked out the dorm. Edging her way down the stairs she didn't register the person laying across the couch.

"Who's the- Oh... You okay Ali?" Jamie asked as he sat up, putting his wand away. She nodded slowly then shook her head.

"I can't get to sleep... I keep seeing that vision over and over again..." She said as she yawned behind her hand. She sat down on the couch next to Jamie and layed her head on the arm.

"It's okay... It's not happened yet and maybe we can change it..." Jamie told her as he wrapped an arm round her shoulders and pulling her up to lean on him.

"I know but it still upsets me" She whispered as sleep overcome her and she drifted off.

Jamie smiled down at the sleeping figure in his arms as her hair changed from the brown it had been all week to the traditional red and blue. Kissing the top of Alicia's head, Jamie fell asleep as well.

"HARRY!"

A scream echoed through the fifth year dorm as Ginny woke suddenly. Raising a hand to her head and feeling cold sweat, Ginny climbed out of bed and made her way up the stairs to the sixth year girls dorms.

"Alicia? Al- Hermione?" Ginny said quietly as she gently shook Hermione awake.

"Wha- Ginny? Whats wrong?" She asked as she sat up so there was room for Ginny to sit down.

"I had a nightmare about the battle so I came up here to tell Alicia but she's not in bed..." Ginny whispered as Hermione slowly got out of bed.

"She might be downstairs. When she can't sleep she goes and watches the flames in the fire downstairs... Come on" Hermione said as she a blanket round her shoulders.

Making their way down the stairs, they heard a echoing sound coming from the boys stairs. Stepping off the bottom step, Ginny saw Harry land on the other side of the room.

Rushing over to him, Ginny hugged him. "Oh Harry! I had another nightmare about the battle" She told him as he stroked her hair.

"It's okay... None of that will happen... We can change it all... I got woken up earlier by Jamie leaving the room... Looks like we found him, and Alicia..." Harry said as he spotted the two curled on the couch.

Hermione approached the quietly and placed the blanket over them before sitting in the chair opposite Harry and Ginny.

"Ginny, tell me what you dreamed... In the morning you can tell Alicia" She whispered as Ginny hugged her knees up to her chest and started rocking backwards and forwards.

"Well... I saw Harry being possessed again but this time You-Know-Who used him as a puppet to hurt us... I watched him hurt you and Ron..." She whispered. Harry placed a hand on shoulder as he stood behind her.

"Hermione, she's a Protector... She'll see these things in her sleep won't she? She's worried about the battle as well..." He whispered as Alicia moved in her sleep.

"It's a possibility... I'm not the one to ask that... Alicia is. I think it's just a nightmare Ginny, if you still want to tell Alicia then you can" Hermione whispered as she looked over towards the sleeping figures.

Harry watched the embers die from the fire as the two girls had a whispered conversation about the battle. Odd words and phrases washed over him as his thoughts questioned the future.

'Why did it have to be us? Will my life be nothing but Voldemort till one of us are dead? Why did this have to involve them? They're my best friends, the only family I've got. Why does it have to be Ginny? If something happens... I know they're all worried, I am as well... There's all those potions the girls made to protect us...'

"Harry?" Ginny's voice interrupted his thoughts and he looked down at her.

"Mmmmm?"

"You okay? You seemed a bit out of it..."

that was pretty awesome!!! i love how alicia and hermione had four different potions going on at the same time.

Chapter 43...

Luna sat at the Ravenclaw table as Ginny entered the hall.

"Hey Luna!" She said merrily as she sat down, all thoughts of last night gone from her mind.

"Oh, Hi Ginny..." Luna said as she played with the piece of bacon laying on her plate.

"You okay Luna?" Ginny said as her head tilted to the right and her eyebrows contracted slightly.

"Just a bad night thats all... Charlotte was awake when I walked in and then it was a bad dream..." Luna broke off as she yawned.

"Another one with a bad dream..." Harry sat down next to Ginny and lent against the table. "First Alicia, then Ginny, now Luna... I think we should meet tonight in the Hospital Room..." He said as he filled his plate with bacon and egg.

"Well... How come we aint getting no bad dreams?" Jamie said as he ran his hand through his hair, making it stand up more than usual.

"Well... Maybe 'coz we aint getting them... What makes you think we know that?" Harry said sarcastically.

"Where is Alicia and Hermione? I didn't see them when I walked down this morning..." Ron said suddenly as he swallowed a mouthful of toast.

As Jamie shrugged, Harry grabbed Ginny's arm.

"Get... Me... Out..." He breathed. Each word he said was full of pain.

Jamie and Ron scrambled out of their seats and gripped the tops of Harry's arms. Luna ran ahead of them to find Hermione and Alicia while Ginny headed towards the teachers table.

"Professor... Dumbledore... Har-" Ginny started but Dumbledore waved a hand at her.

"I know. Take him to the Hospital Room you have... Now!" He said as he stood and walked away with professor McGonagall.

Ginny rushed off to tell the others where to take Harry, who was now being dragged along the corridor by Jamie and Ron.

"Harry! It's okay! It's just Ron and Jamie! Harry!" Ginny said as Harry tried to free himself from their grip.

"It's not worth it Ginny... He can't hear you- OW!" Ron said as Harry grabbed his leg and sent him flying forwards.

"You okay?" Jamie asked as he pulled Ron up and tightened his grip round Harry's shoulder. "Harry, calm down!"

"Get off! Let go!" Harry yelled before shouting out in pain.

"Where's Alicia, Hermione and Luna?" Ginny asked nervously as she looked round. "What are you staring at?" She snapped suddenly to Charlotte as she stared at the group making their way down the corridor.

"Geez Ginny... Calm down! We can fix this!" Alicia's voice broke the silence surrounding them. Jamie's head whipped round to look at her.

"Ali! Where have you been?" He said as he and Ron returned to dragging Harry.

"Library... What happened?" She said as she walked beside them, watching Harry intently as they rounded a corner.

"We were sitting in the Great Hall talking when Harry grabbed Ginny's arm and said to get him out..." Jamie said, wincing with pain as Harry made contact with his ankle.

"Luna came to find you and Hermione while Ginny went towards Dumbledore..." Ron said as he doubled his grip on Harry.

"He said that we should take Harry to the Room of Requirement... In different words though..." Ginny said as Alicia turned to her. "The door's already there..." She added as she pointed towards the carved wooden door in front of them.

Chapter 44...

"Luna and Hermione are in there... Makes it easier to enter the Room..." Alicia explained as she opened the door.

At once Hermione rushed over and started asking questions.

"Hermione!" Ron said loudly as Harry's fist made contact with Alicia's side. "Can we please just let Harry go before we start talking?"

She nodded quickly and lead them to the Hospital Room. Jamie and Ron pulled Harry onto one of the beds as Alicia walked out the room.

Ginny, curious about Alicia's behaviour, followed her. Reaching the doorway, she saw a head of black hair disappear into the Divination/ Tearoom.

About to follow her, Ginny felt a hand on her shoulder.

"Leave it to me... I understand her more" Jamie said quietly as he stepped past her. "You go to Harry... You might be able to help there...You are his protector..." He added with a smile before turning and heading towards the closed door on the other side.

"Ali? You okay?" He said as he stuck his head round the door. A faint murmur echoed round the room and Jamie stepped fully into the room.

"If that was a Yes, stop lying to me... Your hairs blue... Its never blue... Whats up?" He said as he sat down opposite her.

"It's just... I know that whatever is wrong with Harry has something to do with Voldemort but it's not a possession... I can't tell them what's wrong! I'm supposed to know! I came here to try and figure it out but nothing... I'm such a muppet!" She shrugged as she nodded towards the discarded cards scattered on the floor.

Glancing at the mess, Jamie lent forwards. "Alicia, your not a muppet. Just because you don't know whats wrong doesn't mean we can't figure it out... maybe you get a vision or something from Harry, yo-"

"Jamie! That's it! I can get into Harry's head and find out whats wrong!" Alicia said as she stood up. Jamie followed suit and watched her carefully.

"But-" He started but Alicia cut across him.

"It's the only way I can help him... And I'll need your help Jamie... No- one can know what I'm doing. It's dark magic..." She said as she stared at the floor.

"Alicia, how do you know dark magic?" Jamie said as he linked hands with her.

"I don't know... I've always been able to do it i guess" She said as they walked towards the Hospital Room.

"Right... Hey guys, come out here for a minute..." Jamie said as they opened the door. Ginny, Hermione, Luna and Ron walked out as Alicia walked in.

Shutting the door behind her, Alicia heard whispering from her friends as she walked towards Harry.

'They had to use the end bed...' She thought as she made her way up the long walkway.

"Harry? It's Alicia..." She said softly as she stood at the end of the bed. Harry continued to fight with the straps holding his wrists as he twisted and struggled. Raised voices reached Alicia's ears and she moved back towards the door.

Outside, Jamie was trying not to tell the others what was going on.

"I promised!" He repeated as Ginny demanded to know why they wasn't allowed in.

"I don't care!" She argued as she slammed her fists into the wall. "Jamie, tell me or I'll..." She threatened as she drew her wand and pointed at him.

"Ginny! I've told you! She's trying to help him!" He said quickly as he raised his hands and retreated backwards.

"I mean it Jamie! Te-" She said as the door opened.

"You really want to know?" Alicia said as she glared at Ginny, who nodded once and glared back.

Ron, Hermione and Luna looked at one another with confused looks plastered on their faces.

"Ali... You don-" Jamie said quietly from behind her.

"Oh, I do. If she's that worried about Harry that she' going to threaten you... I'm going to swap with Harry" She said, her hair turning black and her eyes not moving from Ginny as they turned red.

"Alicia?" Hermione asked timidly as she edged her way forwards. "Are you okay?"

"Over the moon Hermione" She said as she turned to look at her. Luna glanced at her and gasped.

"Her eyes are red... Her hairs black... She's really mad isn't she?" She asked as she looked up at Jamie, who just nodded and turned to look at Harry in the other room.

"Ali... You have something to do in there... Come on" He said cautiously as he extended a hand towards her.

Ignoring his hand, Alicia turned and marched into the Hospital Room again. Heading straight for Harry's side, Alicia didn't look back as the others followed her. Ginny still glaring at her.

Pulling a chair towards her, Alicia sat down and grabbed Harry's hand, causing him to struggle even more.

Ginny went to say something but Jamie held his hand up to her and shook his head.

'Don't' He mouthed as Alicia closed her eyes and mumbled words under her breath.

Luna placed her hand on Ginny's shoulder as Hermione held tightly onto Ron's hand.

As Jamie lowered his arm, Alicia jumped as she had just been electrocuted but her eyes still didn't open and she continued to utter words. Harry stopped fighting with his restraints and lay still.

"What happened?" Hermione whispered to Ron as she tightened her grip even more. Ron shrugged as he bit his lip with the pain.

Alicia dropped Harry's hand and fell back into the chair. At once, Jamie rushed over to her.

"Ali? You okay?" He said as he gently shook her shoulders. Slowly, her eyelids opened to reveal two sparkling emerald eyes.

"Harry?" Ron said as stepped backwards from the chair he had just approached.

"Al- Alicia..." He said looking at the bed. His voice was still Alicia's. Slowly, everyone looked towards the bed.

"Ali? Can you hear me? God this feels weird..." Jamie said as he looked up from shaking Harry's shoulders.

Chapter 45

Alicia tried to open her eyes but they were too heavy. She tried to speak but found she didn't have the strength. She tried to move her arm but it felt like lead.

'What happened?' She thought as she heard distant voices calling her. 'I can hear them... What the-?' A image flashed across her mind.

A face. A face they knew well. Voldemort. She felt a surge of anger shoot through her as another image appeared in her mind.

People were kneeling round her, but it wasn't her. They were silent as they watched and waited for their Lord to speak.

"Well, someone attacked Potter during school and he is now in a coma..." A man said as he knelt in front of her.

"Potter cannot be in a coma... He has to fight! I want this battle to happen soon. I cannot risk Potter and his friends being ready to fight" Voldemort said slowly as he stood up.

Then, everything was black again. Alicia could hear the voices again but still couldn't do anything.

She repeated the longer same sentence over and over again in her mind.

Chapter 46

MEANWHILE

Jamie sat in the spare seat next to the un- conscience Alicia and sleeping Harry.

After a couple of minutes, Harry jerked awake.

"Al- Alicia?" He said as he turned to look at his own face.

"Harry? Whats wrong?" Jamie asked as he looked towards Alicia's confused face.

"I thought I heard Alicia..." Harry said slowly.

"What did she say?" Jamie said quickly as he lent forwards.

Outside, Ginny sat with Hermione in a corner talking.

"Hermione?" Ginny asked quietly as she hugged her knees to her chest.

"Yes?" She said as she kept her eyes on the two boys talking next to the bed in the other room.

"Whats going to happen? I mean, If we can't get them back right?" She asked as she followed her friends gaze.

"I'm not sure. But I know that Alicia will find a way. She's smart like that..." Hermione said as she studied Jamie's face from a distance.

"That's not what I-" Ginny started but Hermione cut her off.

"Does it look like Jamie's smiling to you?"She asked as she stood up slowly.

Ginny looked slowly back over towards the two boys before answering.

"Um... Yes!" She said as Hermione jerked Ron awake.

"Ron! Wake up! Somethings happened! Come on!" She said as she poked him in the ribs.

"I'm up! Hermione! Whats-" Was all Ron could ask her before she rushed off towards the Hospital Room.

As Ginny walked past Luna, she stood up and joined her as she walked after Hermione.

"What do you think is going on?" Luna asked as they neared the door.

Ginny shook her head. "I know what I want it to be..." Luna looked up at her friend when she heard a sadness in her voice.

"Ginny! Oh! Guess what? Harry's back to normal again!" Hermione squealed as she stood at the foot of his bed.

Ginny rushed forwards and stopped by his side as Harry slowly opened his eyes.

"Harry?" She asked quietly as she sat on the edge of his bed and gripped his hand. His hand slowly tightened then loosened and tears welled in Ginny's eyes.

"Ali? You okay?" Jamie said as Alicia sat up and looked over at Harry.

"Did it work? Is everything okay?" She said quickly, ignoring Jamie's question.

Slowly, Harry nodded at her and she sighed.

"Good... I need to go over there for a minute..." Alicia said, exhaustion visible in her face and voice.

She stood to walk over to the door but after the fist couple of steps, her knees buckled and she fell to the floor.

"Alicia!" Jamie said as he threw himself out of his chair. Picking her up and helping her get ther balance he looked down at her.

"Alicia... You need to rest..." But Alicia shook her head and fixed her eyes on the floor beneath her.

"No... There's no time... Must read... Coming soon..." Was all Jamie got out of her as he lead her to the bed next to Harry.

"There's time Ali... Just lay down for a while" Jamie said as he let go of her arm.

"But- " Alicia said as she went to argue with him. She placed her head on the pillow and curled up into a ball.

"No. Rest" Jamie said with a finality in his voice. Alicia looked up at him before slowly falling asleep.

"She... Saw... Something... Didn't She?" Harry's voice was cracked and strained as he forced himself up to look over at Jamie.

"Yes. But she needs to rest for a bit... She over does it sometimes and this always happens... Wait till she wakes, then ask her" Jamie said as he sat down in the chair between the two beds. His face split into a smile again. "It's glad to have you back to normal... Goodness knows that you nearly gave us a heart attack! Especially Ginny! And you do not want to know how weird it is to talk to you while looking at Ali!" Jamie laughed as Ginny giggled at Harry, who tried to apologise.

"Jamie's over exaggerating Harry... We were scared though!" Ginny said, waving away his sorry.

"Anyway... Lets not talk about it, not yet anyway..." Hermione said as she walked up them. "Do you think Alicia will be alright soon? I need to ask her something..."

"Are you going to elaborate on that or make us wait?" Ginny said as she turned her head to see everyone else in the room.

"It's about what she said as you helped her to the bed... Coming Soon, No time... I think it's about the battle..." She said as she tugged at a curl hanging down by her cheek.

"It was..." Every head turned towards the speaker. Ginny fell off the bed where she was sitting and Jamie scuttled away and nearly fell over Ron's foot as he stood up from his chair.

Chapter 47

"One of my friends placed Potter in a coma without telling me... And your little friend here seems to of lifted the curse. Funny, really. As she was lifting it, she caught a glimpse into my mind... I could feel her power... And she overheard a conversation that she shouldn't have heard. She will tell you but she doesn't know the whole thing... I was hoping to catch her awake... I would like to hear her theories on it. Shame really... It's a shame that you have to be the ones going into battle... your all so young. It seems like theres nothing left for me when this is over..." Voldemort's voice echoed round the room. Ron, Hermione, Luna and Ginny just stood there looking at Harry while Jamie glanced at Alicia before turning back to Harry.

"You've came, you've seen that she's asleep, now go" He said as he stepped forwards, causing Voldemort to laugh. Alicia moved in her sleep and Luna moved towards her.

"Alicia... Come on, Alicia..." She whispered as Jamie started talking again.

"Leave. You have no right here. Go" He said slowly, hoping that Alicia would wake up soon in case anything happened.

"Aww. Scared that something will happen Jamie? Need your girlfriend to protect you? Well she can't. She learnt to control her powers didn't she... Oh yes. I know everything now..." Before Jamie could move, Harry's hand gripped his wrist and pulled.

"Jamie!" Ginny shouted, causing Alicia to fidget again. With both hands pinned to his sides and his own wand pointing at his throat, Jamie just looked round at Ginny.

"Well, something happened didn't it... And look, she's still not awake... Maybe theres a certain thing that causes it... Lets see..." The wand flicked up and a deep mark appeared on Jamie's face.

"Stop!" Ginny shouted as she went to draw her wand.

"Ah! I wouldn't... Or-" Voldemort's voice was full of laughter. Again the wand flicked and another gash formed, this time on Jamie's chest. Blood now soaking his top and cheek. Ginny left her wand in her pocket.

"Stop it!" Hermione yelled as more cuts appeared on Jamie's arms and legs. Jamie crumpled and his face contorted with pain as Voldemort pulled his head up by his hair.

Luna shook Alicia's shoulders and continued to whisper to her.

"Alicia... Please wake up! We need you! Jamie needs you" All that happened was Alicia turning over in her sleep.

"Leave her alone!" Voldemort said and pointed the wand at Luna, who was thrown backwards. At this point, Ron pulled his wand out and pointed it at Harry.

"Sorry mate..." He whispered before he shot a stunner at him. It missed and bounced off the wall, hitting Hermione in the chest.

"Hermione!" Ron shouted, running over to her and receiving a curse in the face.

"Had enough?" Voldemort said as he turned towards Ginny, who hadn't moved at all since Voldemort first appeared.

"Harry? We need you... Fight him... Please" She said quietly as Voldemort grabbed Jamie up off the floor again.

"No... Very well then" As the wand pointed at Jamie's screwed up face, a shout echoed round the room.

"NO!" Alicia threw the cover off the bed completely and ran towards Harry. "Leave! I've told you before!" She brought her hand down and caught Harry across the cheek.

Chapter 48

Ginny turned and looked at Alicia as she went to hit Harry again.

"No Alicia! It's Harry! Stop!" She shouted as she went to grab her hand but Harry gripped her shoulders and shook them.

"Alicia! It's me! He's gone! Check on Jamie!" He said quickly, trying to get her to calm down.

"Huh... Harry?... Jamie..." She said as she shook her head before looking at Jamie laying on the floor beside them.

Luna walked over to where Ron and Hermione, being un- stunned by now, were sitting talking.

"No. wait until Jamie's sorted out Hermione..." Ron said as Luna sat down opposite them.

"I'm guessing you still want to ask her about what she saw..." Luna said and Hermione nodded. "I think we just saw the beginning of it..." Luna said loudly and Ginny turned round to look at the three of them.

"Of the battle? We can't of... Otherwise we have to fight..." She spun round quickly. "You"

Harry was taken back. "Me? Wha- Gin... Why fight me?" He asked as he helped Alicia get Jamie into one of the beds.

"If he can do that," Alicia said slowly, gesturing towards Jamie. "Then he can do anything to get at us..." Her traveled over to Hermione, who understood everything.

"It's begun. Hasn't it?" She whispered and Alicia nodded once, causing Ron's jaw to drop and Ginny to collapse into a chair.

"So that's it... We start fighting from this point on? Without help?" Harry asked as he stood up again.

"No. We need to tell the teachers. And fast. This battle starts now, but finishes here..." Alicia said as she walked towards the door. "I'll be back soon... Look after Jamie" And with that, the door swung shut behind her.

"Guys, I'm sorry for whatever I di-" Harry started but Hermione looked up at him.

"Don't. Just, don't" She said as she stood up and walked over to Jamie. "He's in really bad shape... Whatever curse he used caused deep cuts to appear on his skin... He's lost loads of blood as well..." She said quickly but Harry wasn't buying it.

"No Hermione. I need to say sorry... I want to-" He began but Hermione looked over at him again.

"I don't care Harry. I can't hear you say it. If I do then it's real!" She said loudly.

"But it is real Hermione! It's happening now!" Harry said, matching the volume.

"No! It can't happen! It just can't!" Hermione said as she started crying. Ron walked slowly over to her.

"Hermione, Harry's right... Even if you don't want to hear it..." He said softly.

Chapter 49

After a couple of days had passed, Hermine finally let the truth sink in. Jamie still wasn't 100% perfect but he was up and attending some of his classes.

Ginny, Ron and Hermione never left Harry alone in case something happened and Luna watched over everyone.

Alicia spent most of her time helping Jamie and talking to the teachers about the battle they had just entered.

One morning, Ginny broke the usual routine with a simple question.

"What's happening on the outside?" She asked Alicia as they climbed through the portrait hole.

"Duels... Disappearances... The usual... Why?" She answered as she turned to look down at Ginny.

"Harry asked me... No- one's letting him know anything. He'll go mad if he doesn't know something soon..." She said as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Ginny, did you tell him that he can't know anything for a reason? He should know that Voldemort could-"

"Find out and use it against him?" Ginny said as she finished Alicia's sentence. "He knows that! He doesn't care! He hasn't cared since he used Sirius against him!" Her voice grew steadier louder as they stopped in the middle of the room.

"Well maybe he should care! What do you think it's like for us? Keeping things from him like this? Scared he could use them against us like before? Look what happened to Jamie!" Alicia shouted back as her eyes brimmed with tears.

"I was there Alicia! I saw it happen! Imagine what it's like to watch Harry do that! Especially to Ron and Jamie!" everyone round them had gone silent as the two girls argued in the center of the common room.

"What it's for you?! Imagine what was going through my mind when I woke up and saw that! If it wasn't for you talking to Harry, then I would of probably killed him!" Alicia had let the tears fall down her face and her deep brown eyes had turned to a dull blue.

"It just goes to sow then! You don't car ho you hurt during this battle, you just want to win!" Ginny shouted, tears running down her own cheeks now.

"I don't care? I don't care? What makes you think that? The way I tried to stop Voldemort from possessing Harry all th time? The way I thought of this place to train for the battle? The way I stopped Harry from killing Jamie?" Alicia laughed as she sat down on of the red couches. The people on it stood quickly and hurried off the walls where everyone else stood watching.

"Alicia! Ginny! Stop!" Hermione said loudly as she rushed toward them. "Don't fight! You know what could happen! You know who is causing it!" she added as she pushed Ginny into a spare seat.

Both girls hung their heads in shame as Hermione said this.

"Alicia? Ginny? Hermione?" Ron's voice echoed round the silent room. Hermione stood up and walked towards him. "What happened?" he asked as he nodded towards the tear- stained girls sitting opposite him.

"Girl thing..." Hermione lied as Harry and Jamie walked into the circle of people still watching the girls.

"Ali? What happened earlier? Hermione said it was a girl issue... You never talk about stuff like that..." Jamie asked quietly as the six of them headed or lunch. Ginny and Alicia being as far away from each other as possible of course.

"I had an argument with Ginny and now we're not talking... That's it" She said, refusing to look anywhere but the floor.

"Alicia? Can I talk to you for a minute?" Harry's voice sounded edgy as it floated between them..

Nodding, She stopped and let Ginny walk in front with Jamie as She waited for Harry to start talking.

"If this is about earlier, Hermione's telling the truth" Alicia said quickly as Harry opened his mouth.

"It's okay, Gin told me what happened... I wanted to know why it happened in the first place..." Harry's tone made it clear that he wasn't happy about the argument and that he wanted the truth.

"Well... She asked about what was going on so I told her and then she started on the whole Harry's- Going- Insane- Not- Knowing speech and I just lost it at her..." Alicia said as they entered the Great Hall.

"Well... I know why you would... It does start to get to me sometimes though... She's trying to help. Really she is, she just doesn't know how" Harry said quietly as they made their way towards the far end of the table, where there was a dozen of empty seats. "And, maybe next time you could try not to start an argument in the middle of the Common Room and shout about things that have happened or happening... Oh and try not to bring Sirius into it. He's not here and isn't involved anymore..."

"Oh, Harry... I'm sorry! Really I am!" Alicia said as she sat between him and Jamie, while Ginny sat in front of Harry with Ron and Hermione.

"That's all I really wanted to say... Lets talk about something else..." And with that, the subject changed to Quidditch.

Chapter 50

All that was left of Voldemort's attack now was a few memories tucked away in a deep, dark corner and the scars on Jamie's face, arms and legs.

Alicia still skipped classes to attend meetings about what was going on outside Hogwarts, occasionally Harry along with her while the others put up with lessons such as Double Potions, where Ron, Hermione and Jamie were sitting right now.

"You know... I still don't understand why we can't skip this class as well..." Jamie said moodily as he threw a large green leaf towards the potion they had to make between them.

"Jamie's got a point you know Hermione..." Ron said as he lazily flicked his wand at a bottle, which shattered.

"Watch what your doing Weasley... Your behind on your Potion... 5 points from Gryffindor" Snape said as he appeared next to their cauldron before gliding off to another innocent Gryffindor group.

"You know why we can't go. I'm not explaining it to you again... Don't point your wand at Snape Ron!" Hermione added as she mopped the spilled liquid. Ron lowered his wand, with Jamie forcing his down that is.

"Look at the bright side Ron... We've only got like, 20 minutes left of the lesson now" Jamie said as he glanced at his watch.

Meanwhile, up behind the large stone gargoyle, Alicia and Harry were in the middle of a meeting with other adults from the Order.

"I still don't see why thy have to fight!" Mrs Weasley was saying again as Dumbledore mentioned the seven children upping their training times.

"We've told you Mrs Weasley, it's our destiny and even it wasn't, I'm still fighting!" Harry said as he looked over at her.

"Yes, yes, yes! But- " Mrs Weasley tried to ague again, just like the last meeting, but Dumbledore raised his hand.

"My dear Molly, it is written in the fabric of the universe that Harry will fight against Voldemort," Mr Weasley, like his youngest son, flinched but didn't say anything. "And next to it, reads that six of his most loyal friends will fight next to him. Your youngest son and daughter are one of those six. Nothing can change their minds. They are focused more than many of us, I might add, on this battle." Dumbledore said and Mrs Weasley stopped any signs of arguing.

"But are they fighting for the right reasons?" Remus said suddenly as he looked towards the two children. Harry stiffened and nodded quickly.

"Of course we are! We're all on the same side aren't we? How-"

"That's not what I meant Harry... What I should of said is Are you fighting for the right cause?" Remus corrected himself and Harry looked towards Alicia to explain.

"If you mean is Harry fighting for revenge for Sirius, then no, he's not. If you mean is Harry fighting for revenge of his parents, again, he's not. or is Harry fighting for Cedric, or anyone else he's killed, then your wrong. Harry's fighting for himself and for everyone at the same time. Just like you or me" Alicia said calmly.

"You know, I can see why your giving Hermione a run for her money in the knowledge department..." Kingsley smiled down at Alicia as he spoke, his deep voice calming her even more.

"Thanks... Back to subject though... What will happen if Harry gets possessed again or if Voldemort actually decides to turn up here?" Alicia said and Dumbledore smiled at her wisely.

"Miss Daniels, have you found out anything lately?" He asked slowly but Alicia still jumped slightly.

"No..." She said, even more slowly than usual. As Dumbledore's eyebrows raised, Alicia glanced at the others in the room and Dumbledore understood.

"Very well... As for you question, if Harry is willing to agree, we will check on him regularly and there will be additional enforcements placed around the school. That is all. You can all lave and return to your homes now" Dumbledore said kindly.

As the adults stood to leave, Alicia stayed put in her seat. Harry, misreading what had happened earlier, stood up and was pulled back down rather forcefully by Alicia.

"Stay put Harry!" She whispered quickly as she pretended to rummage through her bag for her timetable. As the door swung shut behind Tonks, she stood quickly and placed a deck of cards on Dumbledore's desk.

"Danger," She said quietly as she turned a card over. "Hogwarts," Another card was laid separate from the pack. With a flick of a wrist, Alicia laid down one more card. "and Death... I know it means something but I haven't figured it out yet... All I can get is that it's definatley not one us seven that die... But I can't tell what side it is...With the Hogwarts side, I'd bet my life it's connected to the Danger, and that that is the battle... Meaning that the battle will take place here?" Alicia scooped up the cards and placed them back in her bag. Taking her seat again, she looked up at Dumbledore.

"I think your right..." The headmaster said quietly, taking Harry and Alicia by surprise.

"Here? The Battle here at Hogwarts?" Harry said as he looked from Dumbledore's calm face to Alicia's shocked one.

"The other students though... They won't understand everything... They have to know!" Alicia said, ignoring Harry and staring across to Dumbledore.

"Very well... The whole story?" He said calmly and Alicia turned to look at Harry.

'The whole story is everything up to when we tell them' Alicia's voice was worried as it swam across Harry's mind. He knew that if they told everyone the whole story they would know about him being possessed, that Alicia has all these different abilities, everything.

'I trust them. Let's tell them and if they don't like what they hear, then it's their fault' Harry let the sentence float in his head and watched as Alicia nodded to him.

"Okay, we'll tell them the whole story" She said finally. Dumbledore nodded and addressed them once more.

"Before you return to the others, I think that you should tell them. The seven of you. Now, go and tell the other five that you are speaking to the school at Dinner tomorrow" He said and the two children in front of him stood up and walked out the room.

"Do you think that's a good idea Albus? Trusting seven teenagers to tell th rest of the school that Hogwarts will host the Battle of the Century?"

"Phineas, please. They are in over their heads already... Nothing they have learnt will help them in the end. Maybe during the beginning, but never the end"

Chapter 51

Walking up the stairs towards the Fat Lady, Alicia and Harry said nothing to each other. The only thing breaking the silence was the rain hammering at the windows. Alicia's voice echoed round them as she said the password.

Inside the Common Room, sitting in the middle of the room waiting for them was the others, including Luna.

"He- What's wrong?" Luna's airy tone died on her lips as she took in their expressions.

"There's a slight situation..." Alicia begun uncomfortably.

"With...?" Ginny asked her. They had started talking last night at practice.

"With the future..." She turned to look at Harry, who stood behind her.

"Let's go upstairs..." Was all he said as he pointed out the group of girls trying to listen in to the conversation. Alicia and Harry lead the group up into the boys' dorm. Once everyone had sat down, Ron and Hermione on his bed, Harry and Ginny on his bed, Her and Jamie on his bed and Luna on Neville's, Alicia began again.

"Harry and I talked to Dumbledore after the meeting finished..." She looked over at Harry and he carried on.

"Alicia saw something about the Battle, she's not sure what side it's on, all she knows is that it's none of us..." He explained and looked back over at Alicia.

"I saw death in the future and was worried. I told Dumbledore and said that it could be linked with the Battle... And told him my theory on that as well..."

"About it being here?" Jamie said as he rested his head on his pillow.

"Yes... And he said that it is being held here..." She said quietly. Jamie sat bolt upright, Hermione fell off the edge of the bed, Harry put his head down and closed his eyes, Ginny's face turned white, Ron looked up at her with shock plastered over his face as he helped Hermione up and Luna just sat there staring at her.

"That's not it though..." She said, her voice barely audible.

"We have to tell the whole school at Dinner tomorrow... All seven of us... The WHOLE story..." Harry said, trying to keep a calm face while the worry was noticeable in his voice.

"What'd you mean, the whole story?" Ron said quickly as Hermione re- seated herself on his bed again.

"Tell them everything..." Alicia said slowly, waiting for the outburst.

"But... That means telling about-" Ginny started but Harry finished her sentence for her.

"Voldemort possessing me... I know... And about-"

"My abilities... Which I'm not looking forward to, by the way..." Alicia said as she leaned against Jamie.

"What? From the very beginning? The part about your mother and all that?" Luna asked as she glanced around the room at the different faces.

"I'm not sure... We might have to..." Alicia said as Jamie's arms appeared round her shoulders.

"But we might not have to..." Harry said as he ran his fingers through his hair.

"Look, can we please talk more later? Ron's practically asleep and Luna needs to get back to Ravenclaw Tower" Hermione said as she poked Ron awake again.

"It's okay... There's an empty bed in my dorm where you stay if you want" Ginny said as she stood up and pulled her hair up into a ponytail.

"Thanks... At least I won't have to put up with Charlotte now!" Luna sighed as she stood up and stretched her back.

Chapter 52

Ginny and Luna were talking about what they had just heard.

"I can't believe we have to tell the school everything though... Couldn't we just give them brief details and then thats it?" Luna said as they changed from school robes to night clothes.

"I don't think that would work though... They'll want to know how we know all this and then we'll tell them anyway... Imagine what Alicia's going through now... Tomorrow, the school will know that she can read minds, possess people, see into the future as well as change her appearance" Ginny said as she slipped between the sheets.

Just up the stairs, Harry, Ron and Jamie were still sitting in the same positions on their beds.

"I can't believe it's here..." Ron said as he broke the silence surrounding them.

"I know... And it's already started, it's just working its way here" Jamie said as he swung his legs off the bed.

"I think I knew all along it would end here..." Harry said quietly as he stared at his hands.

"What?" Jamie and Ron said together as they looked up at him. Harry raised his head and looked at them.

"I've always felt at home here... I lost my parents at my only true home and now I'm going to either fight and survive or fight and die here... Until Voldemort's dead, I can never have anywhere to call home... Look at what happened at the Burrow" Harry's voice was calm and steady but his face showed the sadness that was in him.

Jamie and Ron just sat there. Not knowing what to say to their friend. They glanced at each other before looking back at him.

In the Girls Dorm, Hermione and Alicia were talking quietly.

"Alicia, you can't expect this to go down very well can you? The seven of us telling the school Voldemort's coming to attack us and they either have to clear out or fight with us... It's not going to work..." Hermione was worried. Worried for Harry, worried for Alicia. This story affected them all but those two were smack in the middle of this... Especially Alicia...

"I know... I never thought it would really happen here... I never expected Dumbledore to own up to the place of this war here that quick..." Alicia's face was buried into her hands as she spoke, causing to be distorted slightly. She sat up and looked Hermione in the eye before speaking again. "I'm scared Hermione..."

Chapter 53

That morning, the seven of them walked into the hall for breakfast without say anything. Luna left the group and headed off towards the Ravenclaw table while the others headed for the far end of the Gryffindor table.

The seven of them were still silent, lost in their own thoughts, when Dean and Seamus sat down next to them.

"You lot okay? You look like someone's died..." He fell silent with the look Ginny threw his way and became very interested in the plate of sausages in front him.

"Harry? You okay?" Seamus said without a hint of a smile on his face for once. Harry nodded and Seamus turned to each of them in turn, asking the same question and getting the same response. Except one.

"Do us a favour, you two... Spread the word that there's something important going on during dinner and no- one can miss it..." Alicia's eyes didn't move from her fork but Seamus and Dean nodded and left the table, stopping and talking to someone every now and again.

Hermione shot a glance at Alicia and then carried on staring at her empty plate. Jamie and Ron exchanged looks and glanced at Harry then at their empty plates as well.

That day, the seven of them were quiet. Even in class, Hermione's hand stayed down by her side, causing half the teachers to keep an eye on her in case anything was wrong.

Each one was lost in their own thoughts, thinking about tonight and what would happen. At lunch, Alicia locked herself in her dorm and didn't even turn up for the last lesson.

Half way through their Charms lesson, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Jamie was called out by McGonagoll.

"The six of are to all go to Gryffindor tower now. You must prepare for tonight" The professor said as Ginny and Luna was pulled out their Potions class with happy looks that faded quickly. "Miss Lovegood, all your belongings are currently in Gryffindor tower. You will be staying there from now on"

Slowly, they climbed through th portrait hole and was immediately blown away by Alicia. At first, they didn't know what to do.They had never seen her like this before. Light brown hair fell to her waist and gray eyes looked at them sadly. Jamie was lost. They all were.

At first, they just sat there in silence. Then Harry spoke and the spell was shattered.

"We better get ready..." The boys headed off to the right while the girls went to the left.

When they were all back in the common room it was plain to them that something was wrong with Alicia. Her appearance hadn't changed and she was now wearing all black. Black jeans that hugged her legs and a tight black t-shirt. The others had all settled with jeans as well but had worn coloured tops.

Entering the Great Hall was nerve raking. Hagrid stood near the doors and told them that they were sitting up at the Teachers table. Glancing at each other first, the seven of them walked down the tables.

Chapter 54

Heads turned. Voices whispered. Faces questioned. But still, the seven students spaced along the Teachers table did nothing.

Ron sat next to Hagrid, white as a sheet and speaking little. Hermione shook as she sat next to Professor Flitwick who seemed worried about her. Ginny sat next to Professor McGonagoll who seemed to e trying to get her to relax. On Ginny's other side sat Harry. A calm look on his face as he gripped Ginny's hand. Next to Harry came Dumbledore. Unphased and happy. Alicia sat on Dumbledore's other side, rocking backwards and forwards slightly as Jamie held her hand. Luna sat next to Professor Sprout. A look of pure fear on her face.

Suddenly, Dumbledore stood and everyone was silent. The Headmaster never said anything during dinner. But it wasn't during dinner. Dinner had been cut early.

"I know you are all wondering about the difference tonight. However, it is not my story to tell... Miss Daniels, Mr Starlight, Miss Granger, Mr Weasley, Miss Weasley, Mr Potter and Miss Lovegood... If you please..."

They stood as Dumbledore said their name and walked round to the front of the table where seven chairs were waiting for them. Ron had Hermione's vice like grasp on his hand as she shook. Luna sat next to Ron and grabbed his other hand. Ginny had Harry's hand in both of hers as they sat down. Jamie sat down next to Harry while his eyes followed Alicia as she stepped forwards. Closing her eyes, she breathed deeply.

"We know that you are confused about what is happening but everything will be clear soon..." Alicia's voice was steady and strong. She shook slightly as she closed her eyes again but it passed.

"What we have to say is a long story. Starting nearly seventeen years ago and finishing a couple of weeks ago" Harry said as he stood next to Alicia, Ginny still attached to his hand.

"It may seem unimportant at first but it's not. Do not hold anything against us. We're all working together" Ginny spoke in the same voice as Alicia but shook more.

"It starts with my mother being pregnant with me... Voldemort was strong and the Death Eaters were everywhere" Alicia begun as the other stood and joined them. The Hall was deathly silent, watching their fellow students as they spoke.

"Last year, you heard the rumor that I was the Chosen One... That a Prophecy was smashed during the battle... It's true" Harry said as he glanced round at the faces. "One of Voldemort's followers heard the Prophecy and told him"

"That Prophecy made him believe that Harry was the person going to bring him down. He hunted Harry's parents down. Lily and James Potter stood no chance. They were killed" Ginny said as tears formed in her eyes. Harry tightened his grip slightly on her hand.

"But another Prophecy was made shortly after this..." Jamie said as he turned to Alicia.

"When my mother was pregnant with me, she made the prophecy. It confused everyone as she was a Muggle, but the teachers here knew that I would be a witch when I was born. They placed my mum and dad under close watch until I was born" Alicia explained and Harry recognised the explanation . It was how she had told them about it.

"They knew that Alicia had made the Prophecy which is why they were hidden. It spoke about the prophecy regarding Harry" Hermione said as she stepped forwards.

" 'When the prophecy is smashed during battle, Evil shall uncover their secret. One Champion, Two Warriors, One Healer, Two Protectors and a Seer will join forces and lead the battle against Evil until it is destroyed. The Champion shall defeat the Evil with the two Warriors by his side. The Protectors will watch over the group and fight alongside them. The Healer will make sure those who are hurt become healthy again as she fights against the Evil. The Seer will guide her friends through the battle, while fighting with them.' As you've probably figured out, the prophecy speaks of seven people..." Alicia said as she recited it again.

"And there are seven of us up here now..." Luna said as the Hall broke out in quiet whispers.

"One Champion..." Harry said as he stepped forwards.

"Two Warriors..." Jamie and Ron spoke together as they stood on either side of Harry.

"Two Protectors" Ginny and Hermione joined them as they spoke.

"One Healer..." Luna spoke in a strong voice as she stood tall next to Hermione.

"And a Seer" Alicia said as she joined the group.

"But that's not it... There was mention of a great battle..."

Again, the Hall was quiet. The only noise was people breathing and footsteps of those standing up.

Ginny started to panic now as they neared the end of the explanation. She raised her hand to her face and to bite her nails as Harry spoke.

"At the beginning of the school year, the Burrow was attacked by Death Eaters. No- on understood why until Alicia explained this to us. But something changed everything. While we was all on the train, I was possessed by Voldemort" Harry said loudly and voices filled the air instantly but vanished as Ginny spoke again.

"You've heard of the damage Voldemort can cause. Imagine what he can do when acting through Harry..." There was anger in her voice and a fire danced in her eyes. "Imagine your sitting in the common room talking and the next thing your talking to Voldemort... You want to do something but you can't as it's your friend your looking at! It's horrible knowing that when you see Harry torture Jamie it's not really him..." At that point, Harry pulled Ginny back and forced her into one of the chairs.

"Alicia was the only one who knew what to do... At first, she lost control and went psycho at me, by sending me across the room, but she controlled it and is now the only one who can help. I was possessed again and I- Voldemort tortured Jamie to get to us. I knew what was happening. I could see everything. I was still there. But I couldn't do anything. That was the beginning of the battle... Which will come here eventually..." Harry's words echoed round them as Ron stepped forwards.

"You can think whatever you want about us... We have the means to find out..." He said as he indicated to Alicia, "But know this. As soon as we say, you either leave the school or fight with us. Oh and if you stay so you can help the other side, we don't care who you are, you'll be top of our list" Ron's voice was cold. So was his gaze, which rested on the Slytherin table as he spoke.

"About what Ron just said... I've been hiding a few things from you all..." Alicia said as the other sat down again. She glanced round at them before speaking.

"Fred Weasley is planning to corner us in the common room and ask us loads of questions. Hannah Abbot's trying take in everything we've said. Charlotte Netton is deciding if we're lying or not. Draco Malfoy is deciding what side to pick" Alicia announced suddenly as she looked at each table. Fred looked up with complete shock on his face.

"Alicia can read minds. We can't keep anything secret with her round... But then again, it does come in handy sometimes..." Jamie smiled as Alicia sat down next to him.

"She can also project herself to other places" Luna said as she pointed to the doors to the Hall.

Every head turned and watched as Alicia waved at them from the doorway before disappearing. Turning back, they saw Alicia raise her head and open her eyes.

"Don't forget she can see into the future... That's how we know whats coming!" Hermione smiled as she turned to look at Alicia.

"And you all know I can change my appearance..." She added as her changed from the light brown to vivid pink.

"Well... You know know everything... Please make your way to your Common rooms" Dumbledore said as he stood up.

The seven of them seemed happier as they walked out of the Hall last, each one with a relieved smile on their face. All except one. Her face may of held a smile but worry and terror was in her eyes.

Chapter 55

Everywhere he turned people were talking about the battle. He'd had enough of the questions and shouted at a fourth year girl earlier that day.

Jamie was now found sitting in the corner talking to Hermione as she poured over books from the library they had.

"Don't lie to me!" Jamie said as he stood up from the table him and Hermione were talking at.

"Jamie, I'm not!" Hermione said as she stood as well. The look on her face showed she wasn't and Jamie fell back into the chair defeated.

"Something is wrong though... I haven't seen or heard her for two months... She spends all her time alone or practicing... She's seen something... I'm sure of it..." Jamie continued to mumble as Harry, Ron and Ginny walked over to them.

As Ron went to open his mouth to say something, Hermione shot him a look which said 'Don't...'.

"Err... Hermione..." Ginny said as she signaled behind her.

Walking towards them from the Girls Dorm was Alicia. The once colourful and happy girl was visibly depressed. The red and blue hair was lost and lank black hair replaced it. The bright blue eyes that danced with happiness were swapped for sad gray orbs. No colour was visible on her clothes which were black.

"Hi..."

Jamie stopped muttering and looked up. Emotions flashed across his face too quick for anyone to read them.

"Hi..." He repeated. There was no emotion in his voice at all.

Harry watched as Alicia and Jamie just looked at each other. Ginny nudged him and he looked down at her.

'We should go...' She mouthed as Ron looked over at them. Hermione must of seen Ginny as well because she swept all the books on the table into her bag, grabbed Ron's wrist and walked off towards the couches.

Harry nodded slowly before grasping Ginny's hand and helping her up. Deciding on the spot to go upstairs, he motioned over to the others and they nodded quickly.

Leaving the tow still looking at each other, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny quickly made their way up to the Boys Dorm.

"Do you think that they'll be okay?" Hermione said instantly as Harry pushed the door shut.

"I'm not sure... She doesn't look happy and he didn't sound very pleased to see her..." Ginny said quietly as she sat on the edge of Harry's bed.

"You can't blame him though... She hasn't spoken to anyone of us in over a month... Not to mention that's the first time I've seen her" Harry pointed out as he dropped onto his bed.

"Yeah but there's obviously a reason behind it..." Hermione said as she crossed her legs as she sat in front of Ron's bed on the floor while Ron lay on his front on the bed.

"Yeah but still... There's still no poi-" The rest of Ron's sentence was droned out by a sudden burst of shouts from downstairs.

The four of them glanced at each other before rushing out the door.


Jamie watched as his friends practically ran from the room. His eyes returned to Alicia as she went to speak.

"Jamie?" Her voice had changed slightly, or was it just the fact that he hadn't heard it in a while?

"Alicia..." Jamie said in the same plain voice and he turned away from her, staring at the wall.

"Jamie please..."

"Please what? What could possibly need that you suddenly remember that I'm here?" His words were short and sharp, cutting her up with each one said.

"I- I'm-" She stuttered but again Jamie cut in.

"Sorry? Is that it? Your sorry you 'forgot' about me? No" His gaze never left the wall as he spoke. he could feel her eyes on him but didn't turn and meet them.

"Jamie... Please listen to me!" Her voice was cracked and she was on the verge of tears as she stared at the side of his head.

"No. You haven't spoke to me since we all spoke to the school... Two months Alicia..." At the sound of her name, Alicia let the tears fall down her face.

"Jamie... I'm sorry! I didn't want to ignore you! Really I didn't!" She said as she cried.

"Want to? Want to? What's that meant to mean? You wasn't allowed to talk to me? What?" Jamie was shouting as he turned to look at her. "Two months of complete nothing and you come out with 'Sorry'?" His voice didn't mask the four sets of footsteps as the others ran down the stairs and into the common room.

"Jamie..." Alicia didn't know what to do. Jamie had never shouted at her before.

"Don't... I don't care anymore..." And with that, Jamie stormed past the others and up the stairs.

As the echo of a door slamming reached their ears, Alicia broke down completely. Dropping to her knees, Alicia covered her face with her hands and sobbed.

Ginny walked forwards slightly but Hermione caught her arm.

Shaking her head, she gestured to the table before turning to Ron.

"Go sort Jamie out. Please. This isn't supposed to happen" Harry heard something in her voice and couldn't place it.

Ginny watched as her friend sobbed and sobbed in front of her while the boys and Hermione walked back upstairs.

Unable to sit there in silence any longer, Ginny stood up and carefully made her way to the crying girl.

"Alicia?" She asked, her voice quiet.


Upstairs, Hermione was trying to reason with Jamie.

"Jamie! If you don't open the door, I'll force it open!" She shouted again as she held onto the handle and tried to turn it.

She yelped suddenly and pulled her hand away from the door.

"Jamie, if you cursed the door handle, I swear I'll curse you!" Hermione shouted as she banged her fists into the wood.

"Hermione, calm down! We've got enough going on already!" Harry said quickly as he tried to stop her breaking the door down.

"He's got a point Hermione... Leave it. You go sort Alicia out okay?" Ron said as he pulled her back effortlessly.

"Fine..." And with that, Hermione stormed off downstairs.

"Jamie, Open up" Harry said as he drew his wand, Ron stepping backwards.

A mumble came from the other side and Harry shook his head.

"Fine... Bombarda!" He shouted as the door flew off its hinges. Stepping into the room, Harry noticed all the curtains round Jamie's bed were drawn. Ron didn't notice anything as he was placing the door back in its frame.

"Jamie, what's got into you?" Harry said as he walked over and pulled the curtain back.

Jamie was laying on his back staring up at the ceiling with his hands behind his head.

"Jamie, Harry does have a point... Yeah, Alicia hasn't spoken to anyone in roughly two months but there's still no reason to shout at her like that..." Ron said as he sat on Dean's bed, opposite Jamie's.

"I don't know... I just-" Jamie shrugged as he stopped talking. Harry finished the sentence for him.

"Lost control? Yeah... We all have. Probably me more than anyone... But you've got a reason to... We're a group of seven teenagers who are leading a battle against Voldemort..." Harry said as he sat on the end of Jamie's bed. Ron shuddered as Voldemort's name was said but remained silent.

"I know that but I still lost it... I don't know what to do... I wish I'd never found out about this stupid battle. Everywhere I turn someone's talking about it... I'm looking over my shoulder all the time in case something happens... It's stupid!" Jamie said loudly as he sat up.

"We all know that mate... Imagine Harry's life. Complete strangers knowing who you are, looking over your shoulder permanently, You- Know- Who trying to kill you whenever he gets the chance... That's what its like for him... Not to mention everything that's been happening lately" Ron said as he stood up. Harry just sat there watching him, a blank look on his face.


"I- I tried to s- say s- sorry to him but he s- started s- shouting at me..." Alicia said to Ginny and Hermione as they sat on the couches together.

"We heard... You don't have to tell us Alicia... Just listen to what we've got to say okay?" Hermione said kindly and she nodded. "The last time he saw you was two months ago... You've been locking yourself away from everyone or practicing for hours on end... Imagine what thats like for him..."

"Your appearance doesn't help much either Alicia... Lank black hair? Sad gray eyes? There's definitely something wrong..." Ginny added as she held Alicia's hand tightly.

"I don't know... It doesn't matter who I'm with or where I go, everything brings visions now... Some are good and I try to find him so I can tell him but then another one comes strolling along and it pushes the other one outta my head... So I locked myself away from everything... That way I can concentrate on other things..." Alicia explained as she looked from Hermione to Ginny then towards the stairs.

"Maybe you should tell him everything..." Ginny said quietly and Alicia turned to look at her.

"He doesn't want to talk to me... He doesn't care..." Before she could say anything else, Hermione opened her mouth.

"Oh for heavens sake Alicia! Just go and tell him! If he tries to talk over you, just talk louder!" Alicia watched as Hermione stood up and held out her hand. "Coming by your own or Going with me dragging you?" She added with smile.

Chapter 56

"Well now, I see you two made up" Harry said as he sat down next to Jamie and a very happy Alicia. The black hair was gone and the red and blue had returned.

"Yup... I did exactly what Hermione told me to... Tell him everything" Alicia said as her bright blue eyes danced.

"Told you..." Was all Hermione said as Ron spooned beef stew onto his plate.

The Great Hall was nearly empty as Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny sat down. They had already eaten but its not like it mattered.

"Ron, you've already had dinner! Will you actually stop eating for once please!" Hermione said as he grabbed a loaf of bread.

"That is never going to happen Hermione..." Ginny said as Ron pulled a face at them.

"So... Are you going to tell us everything or keep it a secret?" Harry said as he rolled his eyes at Ron.

"Secret..." Jamie said without any space for thought. Alicia laughed as Harry pulled a face.


Once Ron had cleared two more plates, the six of them headed towards the sventh floor to meet Luna.

Dumbledore had asked them to up their training time to once a day, twice over the weekends. Ron had stated that there was better things to do but had been out voted by everyone else.

"That's silly... Why would you want to do that?" Harry asked Ginny, who had mentioned something about putting Death Eater into the Lake.

"The Giant Squid, Gryndilows, other things that live in the water... Makes sense really" She said, her eyes not moving from the book she was reading.

"Right... Anyway, I think we should learn some defensive spells so that we can protect our side from anything nasty thats thrown at..." Harry stopped talking as pain burst into his head.

"Harry? Are you okay? Have you seen Dumbledore yet?" Ginny said as she placed a hand on his shoulder, shaking him gently.

All that happened was Harry gripped his scar and fell out of his chair. Ginny sat there in complete shock before running over to the door and yanking it open.

"ALICIA!" She shouted and turned back to Harry. He wasn't being possessed because it never took this long for Voldemort to show,, it wasn't another spell to place him ill because he wasn't trying to ward off imaginary Death Eaters.

Footsteps sounded behind her and Ginny heard Alicia curse under her breath.

"Jamie! Ron! Harry, Hospital Wing, NOW!" Was all she said before rushing from the room.

"Alicia? Where're you going?" Hermione shouted after her as she headed for the door leading to the corridor.

"Dumbledore..." The rest of the sentence was cut out as the door slammed shut behind her.

Ginny sat in the chair beside the bed Harry had been placed on.

"Harry? What is it?" Her voice was loud and strong, although Hermione heard it quiver slightly.

Harry gripped his scar still as his face paled and he broke out in a cold sweat. He started mumbling things but no- one could make the words out.

"What happened?" Dumbledore's voice echoed round the nearly silent room and relief poured into Ginny.

"We were talking about defense spells when Harry just stopped talking. As I asked what was wrong, he grabbed his scar and fell onto the floor. I shouted for Alicia who said bring him here as she went to get you" She said quickly as she turned round to look at the Headmaster.

"Very well... It seems that Voldemort has re- opened the link between him and Harry. I would say that at this moment, Harry is watching Voldemort's actions" He said as he stepped forwards slightly.

"Nope... Not far off though old man" Ginny flew out of her chair slightly too late as Voldemort's hand grasped her wrist tightly.

"Miss Weasley has done nothing to you Tom. Please let her go" Dumbledore said calmly as he took Ginny's empty seat.

"Mmmm... I don't think I will... You see, this way I know you won't do anything" Voldemort said as he pulled Ginny in front of him.

"Very well..." Dumbledore said again as he looked over at them. "What do you want Tom? I guess that you knew I was here?"

"Yes... I wanted to hear your theories as well as hers" Alicia looked up at that point and stared into the red eyes that watched her.

Jamie grabbed her hand tightly and Voldemort laughed.

"You may be a Warrior but you cannot protect her always boy. Although, I might spare Potter's girlfriend... She'll be a excellent Death Eater... Very pretty as well..." Voldemort said softly as he placed a hand on Ginny's face.

"You won't" Ron said as he stood up. "You'll never recruit my sister. I'll make sure you don't!" Hermione's hand was held firmly in his hand as he glared across the room.

"The only thing you should make sure of is that you never let that Mudblood out of your sight" Voldemort spat as his hand dropped from Ginny's face and onto her shoulder.

"Why me though?" She asked suddenly, causing Alicia to look up again from her muttering.

"What do you mean? About becoming a Death Eater? Your a Pureblood, we'll skip over the bloodtraitor part... And your Potter's girlfriend. Very nice for my friends... Don't you think Albus?" Ginny turned to look at Dumbledore, who winked slightly.

"What makes you think Harry will let you brand Miss Weasley? Ahh... You think he will not be around to stop you..." Dumbledore said as he answered his own question.

"You're getting slow in your age Dumbledore... What are you doing!" Voldemort shouted and Jamie nudged Alicia quickly.

"I think it's time Harry joined us..." She said as she waved at him.

"Wha- No!" Voldemort's shout was cut short as he fell backwards.

"I think, you should prepare tonight Miss Daniels..." Dumbledore said as he walked from the room.

"Yes Professor" Alicia said as she lent against Jamie, who wrapped an arm round her shoulders.


Harry was sitting up and talking to Ron as Luna made her way towards the door of the Hospital Ward.

"Hey Luna?" She turned round at the door and looked over at him.

"Yes Harry?"

"You couldn't get Alicia for me could you? I need to talk to her" He said as Ron threw him a questioning look.

"Okay..." Luna's misty voice trailed after her as she walked out of the room. Ron faced Harry before opening his mouth to speak.

"Well? You gonna tell me what that was about?" He asked as Luna's shout of 'Alicia' traveled back to them.

"About what Dumbledore said... About preparing tonight" Harry added as Ron looked at him blankly.

"Oh..." Was he managed to say before Alicia hurried into the room.

"What? What is it? If He's back then I can't help this time... Jamie won't let me right now..."

"Its nothing like that!" Harry said quickly as she stopped to take a breath. "Its about what Dumbledore said as he left..."

"Oh that... Nothing... Just, make sure you keep your cloak with you at all times... Oh and when you can, tell Ginny to meet me and Hermione n the Girls Dorm. Thanks" And she walked away again.

"That cleared it up..." Ron said sarcastically and Harry's expression made him shut up. "What?"

"The Battle, it's here Ron. That's what we're preparing for... Dumbledore thinks it coming now" The two boy sat in silence as they listened to the rain beat the windows and watched as the shadows on the opposite wall grow longer in length.
