Draco crept along the Hospital hallway, trying not to make any noise. He was all messed up inside. Did he care for Hermione, or didn't he? It was all so confusing! And what if she had gotten her memory back? Suddenly, it was very important that she remembered him.
He reached the Hosptial Wing. Quietly, he opened the door. Hermione was lying on one of the far beds. Gently, he stole across the room. He conjured up a chair and sat next to her. Hesitanting, he held her hand.
***** Harry made his way up to the Hospital Wing, Invisibility cloak covering him. He went past portraits, ghosts, and once, Mrs. Norris. For good measure, he stood there for ten minutes, until she wandered away.
"Harry?" Harry jumped ten feet in the air. Whirling around, he saw...Ginny?
"Ginny! What are you doing out of bed?" Harry tried not to scream, and caught his breath.
"I couldn't sleep. What are YOU doing up so late?" Was Ginny giving him...a seductive look? Oh my Lord.
"I was...I fancied a walk." Harry forced out, trying to appear calm. "And? What's your excuse?"
"Just going to the library. I need to look something up. But don't worry Harry, I won't tell anyone. Goodnight." Ginny walked away, sslightly swinging her hips. Harry sighed and continued on his way. Man, was she getting weird!
Harry entered the Hospital Wing, gently closing the door. To his suprise, a figure loomed near a bed which had to be Hermione's! Quietly, he crossed the room, and took a closer look. It was Malfoy! And what was worse, he was holding...Hermione's hand? Harry was extremely confused. He heard him speak.
***** "Hermione, I know you can't hear me, and maybe that's a good thing." Malfoy whispered in the dark. "But what I have to say is very confusing to me. I believe...I'm beginning to care about you. Which is weird, since all I have done these past years is mock you, ridicule, belittle, and even harm you. But what I'm saying comes from the heart: I don't want you to get your memory back. I don't want you to think of me as a nasty, muggle hater. Ever again. I want to be different....for you."
Malfoy was sweating. Did he just say all those things? He looked around wildly. No one around. He breathed easier.
***** Harry couldn't take it anymore. He cleared his throat and pulled off his Invisibility Cloak. Malfoy gasped. Harry grinned.
"So Malfoy...having fun?"
"Potter!" Malfoy spat. "What are you doing here?"
"Checking up on MY girlfriend. I'd like to ask you the same thing." Harry wrenched Hermione's hand out of Malfoy's. Malfoy flushed a bright red. "And what do we have here?"
"Potter, you'd better leave, or...or-"
"Or what? You're gonna do what? Wipe out my MEMORY! Make sure I don't remember what you said to Hermione? You're lucky Ron's not here with me, or we'd both be all over you!" Harry stepped towards Malfoy menecingly.
***** Malfoy backed away from Potter. He didn't look right. He looked...stressed. As if someone was putting pressure on him. But who? Potter didn't have a care in the world. No parets to boss him around, telling him not to dishonor the family...Potter had the life Malfoy only DREAMED of. What was his problem.
Then he remembered something, Potter and Weasly went out last year. Now, Potter and Hermione were dating. Suppose...Weasly was trying to break the two of them up? It was an idea.
"Well, Potter, I'll leave you two alone....that is, until Weasly comes in. And I know she will. She's jealous of Hermione, you know?"
Harry purpled.
"Leave Ginny out of this."
"Can you Potter?" Malfoy smirked, and left, Potter's chest heaving.

Lol,Ginny is getting weired.Weirder by the minute.And for Draco,wow,i cant believe he likes her!Poor Harry,he has do deal with Draco taking his Hermione away from him..and Ginny is in all this!! Can't this be all happy and cleared out!

aww i loved that post. Jeeze, i agree, Harry is a little over dramatic. Honestly, im starting to like Draco more and i want HIM to be with Hermione hehehe. Eek what is up with Ginny?? i mean, i know she likes harry but *looks at the screen with shock* oh well... Love does strange things hehehe.

haha this chappie is colorful  Harry watched Draco's retreating back until he was the only one left in the Hospital Wing along with the sleeping patients. He was breathing heavily. What Malfoy had said at the end kept on swirling in Harry's head. What did he mean about Ginny? Harry had noticed her odd behavior lately. All of this was giving him a big headache. He was suddenly very tired and he decided to go to bed, forgetting about his girlfriend in the bed a few feet away. He reached the portrait still thinking off the odd-behaving Ginny. He wondered if what Draco said was right, was she jealous of Hermione? He thought back to her behavior, but couldn't think straight. As he walked in there was Ginny sitting on the couch reading. "Hello Harry!" she said brightly. ***** Draco walked away quickly not wanting Potter to catch up to him. He had too much on his mind to deal with that scum. He didn't know how much Harry had heard. It hadn't really sunk in to Draco that he had admitted all those things. This was too much right now. He needed sleep. He walked through the dungeons and thought about Hermione. He couldn't get her out of his head. He said the password at a portrait and went to his room. Draco went to his bed and closed his eyes, his last thought being of Hermione before he feel asleep. ***** Ginny was delighted to see Harry come in the room. After saying hello she noticed his expression. It looked stressed, confused. "Are you alright?" she asked him getting up and walking over to him. "I'm just tired." he replied. "Well you should just sit down and rest for now." Ginny said pushing Harry to the couch before he could reply. She sat down next to him. Ginny looked at him again, "There's something wrong. What is it? Come on you could tell me." she said with a smile slipping her arm around his remembering the next chapter of her book, The Closer the Relationship the Closer to your Goal. ***** Hermione's eyes fluttered open. She found herself in the dark Hospital Wing, "Oh my!" she exclaimed. Katie and Bells

"Well," Harry said, "See, I don't think I want to talk about it right now..."
"Oh, c'mon Harry, don't be like that. You know you can tell me anything." The main part of that particular chapter was to convince the other person that they wanted to talk about their problems.
"I just don't know Gin. It's pretty complicated."
"I've got all evening." Ginny assured him. Harry sighed.
"Well, if you must pry..."
"Oh, I must...I must." Ginny grinned.
"Well, You know that Hermione's lost her memory."
"Uh-huh."
"And, well, Malfoy's supposed to be looking after her. But, she now all of a sudden has this thing for Malfoy, and won't even look at me. What if this is how she truly feels? Like, if that hit to the skull brought out her real feelings? And she hates me? I just...don't think I could bear another disappointment...another loss..."
Ginny could hardley contain herself. HOw DARE he? She wanted to slap him, and shake him. YOU DIDN'T LOSE ME!, she wanted to cry out. YOU DESERTED ME! BUT I'M WILLING TO FORGIVE YOU! TELL ME WHAT'S WRONG!. However, she remained calm and composed.
"Oh Harry, I think you're getting yourself worked up over nothing. I'm sure she loves you very much."
"But what if this is permenent? What if she never returns to the way she used to be? Mooning over Malfoy for eternity? Oh God..."
Harry buried his head in Ginny's shoulder. Ginny supressed a grin of delight and patted him on the shoulder. Harry's shoulders were shaking.
"Harry....Harry, please don't cry...it'll be alright...I promise...please don't cry..." Harry hugged her fiercely.
"You know, I'm glad there's at least one Weasley* here...usually here, but I'm glad your here Ginny. I really am."
Ginny's ears glowed under her flaming red hair. But she held him, comforted him, and checked off another sucessfull chapter in her diary.
OK, that's the bridge!
