And Yes I have read the seventh book! I cried at the end of it. I have told Emily my theories but she said I was wrong apart from one bit, but she wouldn't tell me which bit was right. I just don't want Emily to die!!!! Emily: You've passed your 1000 post mark :woot: Quote:

SPOILER!!: Comments So, in honor of reaching {over} 1,000 posts, I've decided to give you another teeny spoiler from the sequel, Watching Over You, which is what the new title is... I changed it because it fit better... “So, Draco, anything new?” Emily asked politely. George glanced at her, narrowing his eyes. “Not really much,” Draco replied shortly. “What about you?” he asked, eyeing her. George’s hands balled up into fists. “Not a whole lot these days,” she chuckled. Draco laughed lightly, the tension casually leaving the table slightly. “It’s been a while since I’ve seen you,” she said quietly. He nodded seriously. “What’s it been? Twenty-two years or so?” Draco laughed. “Something like that,” Emily chortled. “The years have been good to you,” she smiled. “I could say the same to you,” he grinned, looking her up and down. “Are you bloody kidding me?” George suddenly shouted. “George!” Emily scolded. “What, Emily? You’ve got to see the way he’s looking at you!” “Cut it out, George! We were only making polite conversation—something you can’t seem to do,” she said coldly. “I bet you wished you married him, huh? What with how the years have been good to him!” George yelled at her. “George Weasley! Outside right now!” Emily screamed. George got to his feet and stormed from the room. What do you think? |
oooohhh dun dun dunnnn :P am guessin this is where the divorse part kicks in. great teaser :) |
Hello Emily. Ummm, well, just coming in on an already going on conversation is hard to decide, but I think there is a problem with the relationship between Emily and George. But, I have to side with George, it looked like Draco was sizing her up, and Emily wasn't discouraging him. Looking forward to finding out what is going on.:glomp: |
YOU CHANGED THE TITLE? I like it though! MALFOY! You bought him back? TWENTY- TWO YEARS? How far are you going forwards! And... BAD GEORGE! Very bad George! I can't wait till we can read this, Ems! PAMS! :val5: YOU! |

The next morning, when Harry got back from burying Mad-Eye’s eye, the trio decided to leave the clearing. Before she could even stand up, her illness got the better of her and she threw up again. Afterwards, Emily packed up all her stuff and followed shortly after, letting the Deluminator take her to wherever she was supposed to be. Right after she put charms around her and her tent, her mirror started buzzing. “How close did it get?” Snape asked immediately. “From what I saw, it wasn’t pretty,” Emily replied with a sigh. “All I saw was Yaxley on the front step with the trio. I was able to curse him, at the same time Hermione did, and he fell back. I erased his memory too,” Emily reported. “Yes, I heard,” he said dryly. “Congrats on the promotion. It seems everything happened the way he said it would,” Emily said semi-brightly. “Yes, well, thank you,” Snape muttered. He didn’t seem happy. “How far have you gotten with your other part of the mission? Are you still with the trio? Where are they?” he asked suspiciously. Emily narrowed her eyes at him. “I’m beginning it now… I left the trio this morning. I don’t know where they went, they left too,” Emily replied. “Are you asking for Dumbledore or You Know Who?” “Don’t get smart with me,” he sneered. “You know which side I’m on.” “Right,” she muttered. “What’s new over on your side,” she asked. “Not much,” he answered before hanging up. “Thanks,” she mumbled as she threw the mirror into the couch. Around noon, Emily set off to explore the small village she was near. She changed her looks daily so she was never the same person, and never her. She was getting restless and bored. She had nobody to talk to, nobody to even look at. All she did was read her books and eat. She used the Deluminator multiple times a day, but nothing was happening still. She was getting frustrated that Dumbledore had asked her to do this. She grabbed her mirror as she fell back into the couch. “Severus Snape,” Emily said into the mirror. Snape picked up on the second ring. “This better be important,” Snape said curtly, his glare murderous. “What’s the matter with you? The Nargles finally get to you?” Emily asked sarcastically. Snape narrowed his eyes, his lip curling back. Emily wasn’t sure why she was expecting fangs to come out of his mouth, but she was and they didn’t. “I was wondering if I could talk to Dumbledore,” Emily said hesitantly. Snape tensed as he glanced back at a portrait of a sleeping man. “Why do you need to speak with him? Anything you need to tell him, you can tell me,” Snape said quietly. “Please, Professor.” Snape sighed, grimacing as he held up the mirror to the now awake man in the portrait. Emily smiled timidly. “Is everything okay, Mrs. Weasley?” Dumbledore asked. “Yes, I think so. Look, nothing is happening. Maybe this is pointless,” Emily said, getting down to business. “I can assure you it isn’t pointless, Emily. In time, someone will need your help. Just be patient, and I’m sure things will happen. Severus told me about what happened at Grimmauld Place,” Dumbledore smiled, his eyes twinkling. Emily had the sudden urge to cry. This man was looking at her like Sirius had looked at her, like Remus always looked at her. He was proud of her. “Okay, I mean I don’t hope something happens, but I wish I could be doing something,” Emily said quietly. Dumbledore nodded slowly. “I need you to pass on some information,” Snape said suddenly, jerking the mirror back so he could peer through it. “What?” Emily asked suspiciously. “I need you to alert the Order and tell them that the Dark Lord has put a taboo on his name. If you say it, every spell you have protecting you will go down and the Snatchers will find you instantly,” Snape said seriously. “You have got to be kidding me!” Emily scowled. “He seriously did that?” Emily was outraged. She knew that Harry said his name all the time. But how was she supposed to warn him? Snape just raised one of his eyebrows at her and she glared at him. “Is it something you’re capable of doing?” Snape asked in a bored voice. “Yes, evidently I’m good at persuading people,” she said sarcastically. “Then, that is all,” he said before hanging up. Emily huffed quietly. She grabbed her cell phone from her pocket and dialed Remus’ number. He answered on the first ring. “Emily!” Remus exclaimed into the phone. He seemed to be arguing with someone in the background. George maybe? “Hey, Rems,” Emily said half heartedly. “Look, this isn’t a personal call. It’s business,” she said quietly. “What? You don’t have a minute to call and ask how I am? If I’m still alive or anything?” Remus said in irritation. “I’m sorry, but no. I have a warning really. You Know Who’s name has been tabooed. Don’t say it or all of the protection charms and what not will be swept away and Snatchers can find you. Pass it along to the others and stay safe,” Emily whispered into the phone. Remus was quiet for a moment. “How did you find this out?” he asked finally. “I heard it around,” she said hesitantly. He argued with the other person again before sighing. “George wants to talk to you,” he said in surrender. Emily hesitated. A smile flashed across her face before turning back into a frown. “I, er, can’t talk anymore. I have to go. Tell him I love him, and I love you,” Emily whispered before hanging up. Her phone immediately started buzzing again as they called her back, but she ignored it. “And now we wait,” Emily said in a bored voice. Emily grabbed one of the spell books that Dumbledore had given her and started reading it. It's not much, I'm going to say that these next few posts until the post are going to be fillers, okay? What do you think? |
:O why did she not talk to George :@ great post :D |
Hello Emily. Fillers are fine. I'm anxious to get to the post. It's at this time of a book that I start peeking ahead to see if my theories are turning out correct or if I have to rethink. Can't do that here.:P I always wondered how the order found out about the taboo. Way to go Emily! And at first when she heard Remus arguing in the background, I thought it would be with George, about him leaving Tonks, and he was wanting to stay with Emily and George, but I realized right away he wouldn't do this. Great post Emily, can't wait till the next.:glomp: |
:) That was great! Aww, she didn't even ask if Remus was alright Quote:

Dumbledore told her many things about her Deluminator. It would take her to the people who may need her help, who were in trouble. She tried the Deluminator every day, but it wouldn’t take her to anything for the next two weeks. She had no idea what it was playing at and was getting even more bored, if that was even possible. Nobody was in need, so it kept taking her to various parts of the woods. So, she spent weeks upon weeks changing locations and traveling the country side. She spent most mornings throwing up, wishing the bug would go away, but it didn’t. At one point, she figured that since it only ever happened in the morning, when she first woke up and realized George’s arms weren’t around her, that she was just home sick, which made her physically ill. She was also incredibly bored and lonely. On her third week, after talking to Dumbledore, things took a turn. When she used her Deluminator, it would actually take her to those in need. She would always help from afar, trying to not be seen. She never recognized anyone she helped, but that didn’t matter. After stunning the Snatchers and watching the captives get free and scamper, she would tie ropes around the Snatchers, use an Anti-Disapparation charm on them so they couldn’t leave, and alert the Order. She assumed they were taken somewhere and held captive themselves, which she didn’t mind. The people she helped ranged from more elderly people, to middle-aged and her age, and then to even younger… In September, Emily used the Deluminator and landed in the woods near a playground. A little boy was being thrown around by a group of three Snatchers. She whipped her wand out and pointed at the closest one to her, stunning him. The others looked around as the boy cowered at the stump of a tree. They started toward her, wands raised, but she was too quick for them. She stunned them and they fell to the ground, motionless. “Hey, sweetie,” Emily said softly as she made her way toward the boy. He whimpered once. “I’m not going to hurt you. Those bad guys aren’t going to hurt you anymore, okay?” The boy looked at her, his tears still falling down his cheeks. She held out her arms hesitantly, carefully. “Why don’t we take you home?” Emily asked gently. He nodded once before jumping into her arms. She ruffled his hair and picked him up. His tiny legs wound around the left side of her waist as she made her way out of the woods. He looked only to be about four or so. “Is your mommy at the playground?” she whispered to him. He shook his head against her shoulder. “Okay… Can you tell me which way to get to your mommy?” The boy nodded and pointed toward a side street. Emily started walking that way. “My name is Emily, what’s yours?” Emily asked gently. “Brandon,” he said, wiping his eyes with the back of his hands. “Did they hurt you, Brandon?” “No, you stopped them right after they pulled me off the jungle gym,” he hiccoughed. “They saw me using magic.” “How come nobody was watching you?” Emily asked, trying to not sound as furious as she felt. “Janie was supposed to wait with me, but she ran off with her friends,” Brandon whispered into her neck. Emily nodded, her eyebrows knitting together. “Is Janie your sister?” Brandon nodded. He pointed toward a house a little ways away and Emily picked up the pace. She trudged up the front steps and knocked on the door three times. After a minute or two a woman with a heart shaped face and brown curly hair opened the door. She looked confused when she saw Emily and then she zeroed in on Brandon. Brandon wiggled free of Emily’s grasp and hugged his mother’s leg. Emily almost smiled but then she remembered that he had been abandoned on the playground. Emily put her hands on her hips, which evidently made her look more like her mother. “Who are you?” the woman demanded as she picked Brandon up. “My name is Emily. Brandon was being bullied by some Snatchers, but I got there before they could hurt him,” Emily said coldly. “Sn-Snatchers?” the woman stuttered as she looked down at her son’s unruly hair. Emily nodded once. “He had been abandoned on the playground—you might not want your daughter watching him anymore if she’s going to just leave him there alone,” Emily said angrily. “Janie left hi—Brandon was alon—thank you,” the woman finally said as she clutched her son closer to herself. “Don’t mention it, just be more careful,” Emily said before stalking back down the path. She went back to the playground to clean up after her mess. She transfigured them all into small rocks and kicked them deeper into the woods. Afterwards, she hid behind a few bushes and Apparated. She immediately went through the tent and snatched her mirror from her bag. “Severus Snape,” she hissed into her mirror, very angry. “What do you want?” he sneered. “What do I want?” she exploded. He backtracked, staring at her suspiciously. “I want to know why his bloody Snatchers are picking on four year old boys?” she yelled at the greasy haired man. “I don’t have any control over them,” he said with a roll of his eyes before hanging up on her. Emily stared at the mirror in shock before throwing it on the couch. She kicked one of her books across the room and threw her head in her hands. Her tears came before she could stop them. “I didn’t think they’d go as far as to pick on little kids,” Emily whispered to herself. Emily shook her head once as she curled up on the sofa. What do you think? Oh, and the next post is where stuff actually starts happening and what not... You'll see :eyebrows: |
