I, Kris Johnson, was sitting outside beside my friend Lily Evans, who was watching James Potter making sure he doesn't do anything stupid. I was also watching someone, but it wasn't in the same way as Lily. I was watching Sirius Black. I had a major crush on him, but he would never know for I was too shy to tell him. Lily looked over at me and saw that I was staring at Sirius.

"Oh, go talk to him!" Lily said nudging me.

"I just can't, and you know very--" I stopped short for there in front of me stood Sirius.

"Hi, Kris, Lily," Sirius said flashing us with his best smile.

"Err...hi, Sirius," I was starting to blush, I could feel my cheeks getting warm. No! Not now!

"I really need to go in and study," Lily said while standing up.

I watched helplessly as Lily walked to the castle and enter, I'll get her for this! I thought staring after Lily. There was a long awkward silence between me and Sirius. Neither knew what to say, so Sirius sat down in front of me and we stared at each other. Sirius would open his mouth to say something but then he would close it again. He did this for about thirty minutes before he said, "Want to go out?"

I stared at Sirius, I was shocked that he liked me too, but then she saw James laughing his head off over by the tree. I stood up and walked over to James and said, "James Potter! Did you put him up to this?"

Remus was about to say something but I said, "Don't even dare to stick up for him, Remus!"

James made a look of mock shock and said, "I? James? Put Sirius up to asking you out? No! Never!" He made one mistake, he winked at Sirius.

I was so furious, I couldn't speak. I slapped James then I walked over to Sirius and gave him a hurt look. I bumped into Sirius so hard I almost knocked him over, I wasn't really mad, I was hurt. How could Sirius do that to me? I thought we were friends, but I guess I thought wrong! I didn't notice where I was going so I walked into my brother. I didn't look at him for I had tears in my eyes.

I felt him rest a hand on my shoulder, "What's the matter, Kris?"

I shook my head, I couldn't tell him about this, could I? I looked at him and said, "It's just that...that Potter. He knows I like Sirius and he told Sirius to ask me out! As a joke!"

Matt looked sorry for me, he knew how I felt he had went through almost the same thing once. He was looking at me when he said, "What makes you think he doesn't really mean it? I mean when me and him talk he mainly talks about you." I look surprised but happy when I said, "He does? What does he say?" I needed to know.

"Well he says that he thinks you're cute, I think he does like you, sis." Matt smiled and added, "Go apolagize to him and tell him how you feel about him."

I nodded and ran off to find Sirius but I bumped into a Gryffindor girl with red hair and green eyes, "Sorry! I didn't see you!"

The girl said, "That's alright, I'm Katie Moulton." Katie held out her hand for me to shake.

I took her hand and shook it, "Kris Johnson, I'm in Gryffindor also." There was an awkward silence then Katie said, "I'll catch you later!" She ran off up the stairs. I started to look for Sirius but I stopped for there was a first year standing in front of me. "I...I was told to give you this." He held out a peice of paper, I took the paper and the first year ran off. I saw slanted writing and my heart sank, I unfolded the piece of paper and saw: Miss. Johnson, please come to my office, I like leamondrops, Albus Dumbledore. I walked to Dumbledore's office, when I reached it I opened my mouth to say the password but at that moment the gargoyle leapt to the side and there stood Dumbledore himself. "Hello there, Miss. Johnson, please enter." I followed him into his office and sat in the chair across from him, I had been in here once before but that time I was with Matt. I didn't even want to think of that day...it was horrible, that day I had found out that my parents were missing, their still missing. "Miss. Johnson, I heard that you had a run in with Mr. Potter, am I correct?" I nodded my head. "You do know that we have a no fighting rule, do you not?" I nodded again. "The why, may I ask, did you slap Mr. Potter?" I opened my mouth to speak but at that moment Professor McGonagall came in with none other then Sirius Black and James Potter. "I caught these two hexing Mr. Snape!" She let go of the boys and waited for Dumbledore to speak. "My, my, my. There has been alot of people in trouble today. Detention all three of you, lines, Mr. Potter, Mr. Black you will write 'I will not hex, curse or jinx Severus Snape'. Miss. Johnson, you will write 'I will not hit James Potter.' Your detention's will be in Professor Mcgonagall's classroom. Now you all need to go to bed, goodnight to you all. Professor you stay behind, please."

When we all were outside his office James started laughing, "What did you get lines for, Johnson?"

I glared at him and then said, "Sirius, may I have a private word?"

Sirius looked at James, who shrugged, then Sirius looked at me and said, "Sure."

Sirius followed me in an empty classroom, I shut the door behind him then I turned to face Sirius. I took a deep breath and opened my mouth to speak but he put his hand over my mouth, he had a smile on his face. He knows, I was thinking. He removed his hand and leaned in to kiss me but then-

"Oooohh! Ickle fithies out of bed! Should tell, I should!" You guessed it, Peeves.

Sirius took my hand and we ran out of the classroom and down the hall and ran right into Mrs. Norris. We dodged her and kept running with no idea to where we were headed. After what seemed like hours we stopped and panting we looked around, we were near the Ravenclaw commonroom. "I...I think we're safe n-" Sirius started. "What are you two doing out of bed?" We turned and there stood Professor Slughorn, "I asked, what you two were doing out of bed." I looked at Sirius then Slughorn, "We were in Professor Dumbledore's office then we started walking and talking and didn't relize where we were 'til now."

"Oh well if that's it, well you two better hurry along to bed."

"Yes, Professor." Sirius and I said together.

We walked slowly back to the Gryffindor commonroom, when we reached the painting of the fat lady Sirius held my arm. He turned me to face him and looked into my eyes, I got lost in his gray eyes. He leaned in to kiss me again but- "Am I suppose to just stand here and wait for you two to kiss or are you going to say the password?" We turned to the fat lady and Sirius said, "Grimwick." The fat lady swung open and we walked in and saw that the commonroom was empty. I looked at Sirius and thought, is it not meant to be? He seemed to know what I was thinking because he pulled me to the couch and sat me on it then he sat beside me.

"Look, I do like you, I always have." He looked into my eyes, "Kristina Mae Johnson, will you go out with me?"

I was shocked but I smiled and said, "Yes, I will."

"Y...you will?" He looked as shocked as I had felt. I nodded and he leaned in and I felt his lips against mine. Oh how wonderful it was! We kissed for what seemed like hours. When we broke apart, I layed against him and put my head on his shoulder. "I know it's too soon to say this but, I-" I started but just then who just happened to walk in? You guessed it, James.

"You what? You loooooove him?" James said in a sing-song voice.

"Oh, shut up, James!"

"Make me, Sirius!"

"Both of you shut up! You're going to wake everyone up!"

James smirked and said, "Make us."

"Fine! I will!" I whip out my wand and used a sliencing charm on the both of them. I laughed as they tried to talk, "Are you two going to shut up?" They nodded so I took the charm off. James stomped off to the boys' beds and Sirius laughed, "That was fun." He kissed my cheek, "'Night, Krissy." He followed James up to bed, I had a big smile on my face when I walked quietly in the girls' dorm. I got changed and into bed and the smile stayed on my face the whole night.

I got shook awake the next morning by Lily, "Kris! Kris! Krissy!" I sat up rubbing my eyes and yawning, "Krissy, Sirius is asking for you." I jumped out of bed and got dressed, fixed my hair then I went downstairs to the common room. I jumped when someone said, "There you are!" I turned to my right and there stood, "Sirius!"

"What?!" He smiled.

"You scared me to death, that's what!" Seeing his smile made me smile. He kissed my cheek then said, "I'm sorry, Krissy." He rapped his arms around me and held onto me, "Want to go to Hogsmeade?" He kissed my cheek again. "We can't, we've got lines, remember?" Oh, boy, I know that smile! "Sirius, we can't!" He pouted, "Why not?" "Because I...well just because!" He laughed at me.

Sirius squeazed me and pouted and gave me the puppy eyes, "Oh alright!" He beamed and turned me to face him, I rapped my arms around his neck and smiled at up him. We were about to kiss when Remus came up to us and said, "Err...sorry to bother you but I was told to give you this, Kris." He held out his hand that had a note in it. I had let go of Sirius and took the note, I opened the note and read; Kris, I really need to talk to you. James.

yay! 1st respons!! this is really good! i love maurader ff's! i wonder what james wants to talk to her about? pams!

Ok this is all I have for I am in a bad mood.

Sirius tried to take to the note, "What's it say? Who's it from?" I put the note in my pocket and said, "It's nothing, I need fresh air.." I started to walk to the portrait hole when Sirius grabbed my arm, "What did that note say?" I sighed and thought about the note, "It's nothing, Sirius, now let go." But he wouldn't let go, he took his free hand and got in my pocket that had the note in it, he took his hand out and read the note, "Potter." Was all he said. He pulled me out of the common room and to the Great Hall, he looked around for James I asumed. Not seeing him, Sirius pulled me to the grounds, he saw James and growled softly. "Sirius, let go." I said feeling scared. Sirius ignored me and pulled me to where James sat under a tree looking around like he was waiting for someone.

Wow! Sirius is deffinately angry! PAMS!

oh no! there is going to be a fight!!

This may not be much but it's all I got at the mo'

"Potter!" Sirius yelled. James looked at Sirius shocked, "When did you started calling me 'Potter'?" James asked sounding a little hurt. "When did you started sending notes to MY girlfriend?!" Sirius asked yelling. James looked at me, "You showed it to him?" Sirius pulled on my arm so that I would be right next to him, He leaned in and whispered in my ear,"You talk to him and you will regret it." I tried to pull away from Sirius but his grip on my arm just got tighter, James jumped up and said, "Sirius let her be, I only wanted to talk to her." Sirius rolled his eyes, "Yeah right." But none the less he let go of me and walked off, as soon as Sirius was in the castle both me and James let out a relieved sigh. I looked at James, "I didn't let him read it, he took it out of my pocket." James smiled and took my hand and led me under the tree.

We both sat down, James still held my hand, I looked at the ground and asked quietly, "What do you need to talk to me about?" I could tell that James was smiling slightly when he said, "To warn you about Sirius' rage and jealousy. He's never been with just one girl before, so he doesn't know how to react when you talk to a guy, or when you even look at a guy." I looked up at James, "What would he do if I wanted to break it off?" James let go of my hand and put his arm around me, "I don't know, he always dumps the girls."

Tsk tsk.. Sirius.. He can't get mad at James!! James is love Siriu's best friend!!! Ohhhh.. And I think James likes Kris :shifty: PAMS!

The next few days James and Sirius kept shooting angry glares at one another, and Sirius kept a close watch over me, oh how I hated it! "What did you talk about with James?" Sirius asked me for the thousandth time, when I didn't tell him again he looked around the common room to make sure we were alone, then he punched my arm. "That's it!" I shouted standing up. I walked out of the common room, I heard Sirius following me, when he caught up with me he grabbed my arm and pulled me around. "What do you think your going to do?" I felt his grip tighten, I tried to sound brave when I said, "To talk to Dumbledore."

"I think not." Sirius said pulling me into an empty classroom. After he shut and locked the door he pushed me into a chair, "What are you doing?" I asked him. He didn't answer me and I thought it was best not to ask again. I felt scared and I must have looked it too for Sirius asked, "Afraid to be alone with me?" When I didn't answer he got mad and punched me again. I felt tears in my eyes, "Please, Sirius, I --" Sirius got out his wand and made as invisible rope that was tied around my right wrist and his left wrist. He pulled me to the door, I watched as he unlocked it then opened it. Before he pulled me out of the room he whispered in my ear, "Don't say a thing. Act happy."

oh no! what is Sirius doing?!?!?!? i hope he doesn't try to hurt her!

Oh ,you are brilliant!! I wonder what he's doing!!

Whoa! Sirius is totally evil..... is he under some kind of spell? PAMS!

*laughs evily* You wish you knew....I do too...lol..Sirius hid these plans too...I think he wants to rewrite it.

OMG! I think Snape put him under the imperious curse.... or maybe Sirius is tied up somewhere, and a Slytherin is pretending to be him. PAMSOID!

"Kris, I thought you would be happy that--" Dumbledore started but heard a knocking, "Enter." It was Matt. "Mom! Dad!" He hugged them both then seeing I wasn't happy to see them he asked, "Krissy, did Sirius dump you?" I shook my head not looking at him. He walked over to me then placed his hand on my shoulder, "Please, don't touch me." He removed his hand, "What's wrong?" "That's what we've been asking her but she wont tell us." Dad said still sounding worried. I stood up then started for the office door when there was a tapping sound. Dumbledore opened his window and the owl I had sent to James flew in. It dropped a letter then flew out, I picked it up, it was from James. I opened it and read to myself;

Tricked you didn't I? This isn't from James, I just forced him to write on it. You are going to pay for going against me, Kris.

I stood there re-reading the letter over and over, I jumped when Dad asked, "Who is it from?" I put the letter in my pocket and muttered, "No one."

Ok, he has deffinately got to be under some sort of spell; 'cause Sirius wouldn't act this way. PAMS!

I had my hand on the handle when Remus came bursting in almost knocking me over. "Professor! That isn't Sirius! It's his brother!" Remus said helping me keep my balance. Dumbledore stood then told me and Remus to follow him, the twinkle in his eyes gone. Remus put his arm around me and no matter how many times I told him to let go he wouldn't. We went to the great hall when we got there Dumbledore said calmly to 'Sirius', "Regulas?" The fake Sirius turned his head to look at us. Dumbledore walked over to him then we all went in an empty classroom. "Where is Sirius?" Dumbledore asked him for the tenth time. "Not telling." He now looked like himself. I walked over to him and raised my hand to slap him but he grabbed my wrist then muttered, "You're lucky Dumbledore is here to protect you." Dumbledore then looked like he remembered something then left the room. Regulas smirked then forced me to kiss him.

"Oi!" Remus said as he tried to pull Regulas away from me. Regulas ignored him and kept forcing me to kiss him. I pushed him away with such force that he fell back on Remus. Remus pushed him off himself then stood up and walked over to me and placed his arm around me. James came running in the room, grabbed me, I grabbed Remus and James pulled us both to the hospital wing. I gasped as I saw Sirius lying in a bed some of his hair gone. Sirius was alseep, I covered my face with my hands then put my face on James' chest. James put his arms around me.

"I should have known. The real Sirius would never hurt Kris." James whispered holding me tight. "I just don't understand how he got the password..." James continued. I looked up at him, "I thought I had saw Regulas snooping around the fat lady before Sir--he asked me out."

*Punches Remus and Sirius(the ones in my head)* You made me forget what else I was going to put!

OMG! I was sort of right :lol: That was awesome Kris, PAMS!

James sighed then lead me out of the hospital wing, when kept walking until we were in the common room. He lead me to the couch, I sat down then he sat beside me. “I need to know…what did he do to you?” I looked away from him, “He…he ra-” James stood up. “James, don’t…don’t leave…” I took his hand and looked up at him. He sat down then let go of my hand, “I wont, I promise.” He brushed my hair out of my face then leaned towards me.

As his lips touched mine my heart skipped a beat. Everyone that was in the common room whooped and hollered…well mainly the boys. I pulled away when I heard one of the boys say, “It’s about time, Potter!” I felt my face get warm and knew I was blushing. James smiled then put his arm around me and held me tight as I rested my head on his shoulder.

It wasn't Sirius that asked her out...it was Reggy using poloyjuice to look like him...and I just said part of the plot! *thinks of something else to use*

The next day was a Saturday so we all went to visit Sirius. When Sirius saw me and James holding hands he smiled and said, “I was wondering when you two were going to get together.” James kissed my cheek causing Lily to run from the room and Remus going after her. Sirius looked at me with a look in his eyes like an older brother would have. “I’m sorry for whatever my brother did to you, Krissy.” I shrugged and lied by saying, “It’s no biggie.” James shot me a sharp look, “It is a very biggie.” He looked at Sirius, “He raped her, Paddy.” Sirius stared at me as if trying to read my thoughts.

I couldn’t take it any longer, “Ok, yes, it is a big deal and yes, he did rape me…” “What?” I jumped as I heard my fathers voice. “I came back to check on you, Kristina, and I find out that you lied to us?” I turned to face him, “You would lie too if you were threatened.” “’Threatened’? You were threatened?” His face had turned red from anger, “Daddy, please…don’t … don’t get mad.” I knew all too well what happens when he gets mad. I gave James a look that said ‘help me’. James caught my look and said, “Sir, the boy who did it was a Black…no, not him…his younger brother. Their family come from a long line of dark wizards. Sirius isn’t one of them, though.”

James put his arm around me making me feel safer then I ever had around my father. My father looked shocked, “Well…then I guess I should leave then.” He turned then left, as soon as he was gone James asked, “Aren’t you glad that your parents were found?” I looked at James and said quietly, “I wouldn’t care if my father stayed missing.” The only ones that knew the truth about my father was Lily and Remus. “But why?” I looked at Sirius. “Why? Well…err…I…um…” I took a deep breath and with a kiss on the cheek from James said, “When he gets really mad he hits me…no matter if it was Matt he was mad at…”

James held me tighter while Sirius just stared at me, “When I met you guys I would make plans with either Remus or Lily to stay at one of their houses. I stayed mainly at Lily’s because Remus lives near us so Daddy would be able to find me.” James stood up then pulled me up he looked at Sirius, “I’m going to take her outside to get her mind off things.” Sirius nodded then James lead me out of the hospital wing.

Hey Katie! Long time no see!

There wasn't really much about him...other then he was killed by betraying Voldemort.

When we got outside it was dark mainly because James had my eyes covered. “James, where are you taking me?” “Oh, somewhere special.” I smiled, then when I could hear the lake James removed his hands. I stood in stunned silence amazed by what I saw. I turned to James, “This is amazing, James.”

He smiled then put his arm around me, “I thought we could spend your birthday by ourselves.” I smiled then whispered, “You’re so sweet, James.” I went to kiss his cheek but he moved his head so that I ended up kissing his lips. James broke the kiss then whispered, “I want to show you something.”

He stepped back then where he was standing was a stag. “Wow.” I whispered as I reached out to touch him. James changed back before I could get close enough to touch him. I dropped my arm, then looked at the candle lit table that was set for two. James walked to one of the chairs then pulled it out, “Your seat.”

I smiled then walked over and sat down he then sat in the chair across from me. I looked down at my plate then at James. “Just say what you want.” He grinned, “Watch. Pork chops.” And on his plate appeared pork chops, “I see, well I want a salad.” I looked down and saw the salad appear.

“You don’t eat meat?” James asked with a raised eyebrow, I laughed and said, “My granddaddy turned me from it, know what he hunts and eats?” “No, what?” “Deer.” James nearly choked on his drink, “What?” I smiled, “Yeah, he and Matt would get up at five in the morning and sometimes bring back a doe fawn or even a stag.” James dropped his fork and mumbled, “I don’t think I’m hungry anymore.”

I think that answers your question. ^_^

I laughed once more, “I’m kidding, James.” “Oh…I knew that.” James said as he started to eat once more. “My granddaddy wouldn’t think of killing a deer. He lives in a forest and has many a deer visit his house.” After we had got done eating I was sure it was past time to go in. James stood up then took my hand and pulled me up. “Now what are you up to?” I asked.

James smiled then pulled me close, “Promise me something, Kris.” “Anything, James.” “Promise me that you will stay with me and that you wont tell anyone about what I showed you.” “I promise and I seal this promise to you with a kiss.” I went to kiss him but I felt something hit the back of my head and everything went black.

Almost Christmas

“I can’t believe she’s still out…it’s been five months.”

“I can’t believe you’re going to stay over the break for her.”

“Remus, I…”

I felt someone take my hand and I gave it a squeeze. “Kris?” I opened my eyes and smiled slightly at James. “You what, James?” I watched as James blushed, “Nothing…I just don’t see how it happened…I mean we were just standing there about to kiss when you fell and then who ever did it wasn’t there…even Dumbledore’s baffled about it…I…I…”

I gave his hand a squeeze when I saw his eyes fill with tears. “James? What is it?” I was shocked when James threw himself on me pulling me into a tight hug. “I thought you wasn’t ever going to wake up!” I watched as Remus silently left the room. I put my arms around James feeling him shake from crying.

“James, calm down, I’m awake now…how long has it been anyway?” James pulled back wiping his eyes, “Five months…next week’s Christmas.” James smiled then winked, "I've got something special planned...been planning it for if you woke up..."

Amie re-read the paragraph before 'Almost Christmas'.

I wrote most of this a few mins ago! Whoo! I am so proud of mehself!

James sat down as Dumbledore walked up to my bed, “Miss Johnson, I would like to have a word with you and Mr. Potter here.” I nodded but stopped after the room started spinning. James took my hand and held it tightly as Dumbledore sat on the other side of my bed. “Miss Johnson, Mr. Potter has told me what he remembers. I need to know if you remember anything. I know it could not have been your friend, Mr. Black’s brother because he was in my office at the time. Do you know who it could have been?” I thought then whispered, “My father.” James’ grip on my hand tightened and Dumbledore stood up then left the wing.

The next day I was allowed to go back to my classes but I wasn’t suppose to go outside of a night unless I have a professor, or Hagrid with me. James wouldn’t leave my side other then to play and practice quidditch. Even then I was in the stands cheering him on, I wanted to be on the team, or at least be able to fly. I almost made him fall off his broom by yelling, “You look so handsome up there, Jamesie!” After that Sirius and Remus had to sit with me the keep me busy talking with them.

Time seemed to fly by and before I knew it, it was Christmas eve. James kept me in the common room until everyone was gone. “Stay here.” He said before he snuck up to the boys dorm. After a few minutes he came back down carrying something sliver and fluid like. He pulled me up off the couch then put the stuff over us then we walked together out of the common room. It wasn’t until I heard the Fat Lady sleepily say, “Whossere?” that I realized that it was the invisibility cloak that I heard them talk about a year ago.

When we got to the floor of the Room of Requirements I froze in fear. Knowing what I was thinking James whispered, “I wouldn’t hurt you, Krissy. Please don’t think of that day, I need the room to turn into that surprise I have for you.” I smiled then nodded then got out from under the cloak to let James change the room. After I heard him pass the room the third time James got out from under the cloak then pulled me into the room.

In the room was a huge Christmas tree, a table once again set for two, but on the plates were two salads. The room was decked in red and green garland, there was also a couch. I smiled then kissed James on the cheek. “I thought you’d like it.” James said leading me to a chair, he pulled out the chair then scooted it in after I had sat down.

After he had sat down the lights dimmed and romantic music began playing, then the candles lit up. We ate in silence then James stood up then came over to me bowed and offered me his hand. I took it and stood up, he pulled me away from the table and couch. He then pulled me close to him and rapped his arms around my waist while I put mine around his neck. Time seemed to stand still while we danced ever so slowly.

Oooh! I love this part! Hehe! It's how I'd like my boyfriend...if I had one..to be like.

what do ya'll think? should I skip a few years? to like their last year at school??

Well since ya'll never answered me I went ahead with it.

7th year

“Move out of my way, Evans!” I shouted glaring at her. “No! Not until you tell James!” Lily shouted back. “Tell me what?” James asked looking from me to Lily then back at me. I sighed then sat down, “I…I got a letter from America…the Ministry there got wind of my high scores in everything and want me to go there…” James blinked a few times he looked like he was trying to take it all in.

“A…America? Are…are you going to go?” James asked staring at me. “I was thinking about it…but…I don’t want to leave you…” I walked over to him then sat beside him on the couch. I took his hand but he pulled his away, “There went my plans.” James stared into the fire. “James…” I started. “Don’t, Krissy…just don’t.” James sounded hurt but he sure was putting on a good front.

“Fine.” I said standing up then walked out of the common room. I was going down the stares when I bumped into someone. I looked up and saw that it was Sirius, “Oh…hey…” I mumbled.

“What, no sorry?”

“Sirius, I’m not in the mood for this.”

“So…you told him, huh?”

I rolled my eyes, “Yeah, I don’t even know if I want to go or not...”

“But?”

“But I want to get away from my father…now that I am going to get out of school he’s going to be watching me…following me…” I shuddered. Sirius put his arm around me, “He just had big plans…he loves you, ya know?”

“I love him as well…I don’t want to leave him.”

“Then don’t.”

I smiled then gently pushed Sirius, “Don’t tell me what to do, but you‘re right…I‘ll stay.” Sirius turned me around and gave me a small push, “Then tell him, not me.” “Alright, I’ll tell him.” I turned to face him and gave him a hug and whispered, “Thanks, Padfoot.” I pulled away then ran back to the common room.

I said the password then stepped inside the common room. Once inside I looked around for James, I walked to Lily, “Where’s James?” Lily pointed to the boys dorm. “Thanks.” I walked the stairs until I reached the door that said Seventh Years. “James? Can we talk?” The door opened and James pulled me in.

“I had some big plan to ask you…a table set for two in The Three Broomsticks…the bartender said that I could have it all to us…we could have been alone…” James was pacing looking angrier and angrier with each step. “James? Are you ok?” I asked quietly. James glared at me then continued as if I hadn’t said anything. “But then you tell me that you might move to America…a place as far from me as possible.”

He stopped pacing and glared at me, “What do you expect me to do? Marry Lily?” “James, I came here to tell you that I am going to stay.” I whispered. James looked like he didn’t believe me but then he took my hand and got on one knee. “This isn’t really how I planned on asking…” James took a deep breath.

“Kris, I love you with all of my heart. I wouldn’t be able to be with anyone but you. I wouldn’t want to be with anyone but you. I want to be with you forever, we have been dating since our fourth year. I…I know it started at a bad time but I want you to know that I am so happy that you stuck with me even though I hexed, jinxed Snape. I had a more romantic speech and place ready but I want to ask you now. Kris, will you do me the honor in being my wife? Will you marry me?” James got out a ring with three diamonds then he looked into my eyes. I was stunned as the words filled my head.

I stared into his eyes and saw that they were filled with love. I smiled and nodded my head, “Yes…yes, James, I will.” James’ hand was shaking as he put the ring on my finger. I smiled as he stood up, he rapped his arms around my waist and I rapped mine around his neck. “I love you, James.” James smiled, “And I love you, Kris.” He leaned in to kiss me but stopped inches from my lips. I rolled my eyes knowing what he was doing but I rose up a bit to close the space between our lips.

James pulled away grinning, “You know, if you marry me your marrying my friends.” I smiled and nodded then kissed his cheek. “You know…there’s a war waiting for us out there…and…if anything happens to me…” James put a finger on my lips, “Nothing is going to you as long as I live and breath.” I pulled his finger away. “Yes, but if something does, I want you to find someone to be with. I don’t want you to waste away over me. Lily always did like you, deep down.” James smiled and shook his head then put his arm around my waist. “Wanna go for a walk?” I nodded then James lead me down into the common room.

Lily ran up to me and James looking worried. “Kris, your dad came back and wants to see you now…I don’t think you should, I have a bad feeling about this.” I sighed then gave James a kiss then started to walk out of the common room. I turned and asked, “Where is he?” “Entrance Hall.” I nodded then turned back around then left the common room. To tell the truth I had a bad feeling as well but I disregarded it. I walked to the Entrance Hall to see my things by my father.

“Why do you have my stuff?”

My father smirked, “You are to go to that job in America.”

I crossed my arms. “No, I am going to marry James.”

“No, you are not. I forbid it.”

“You forbid it? You have no say in my life!”

He took my arm then waved his wand and my stuff was gone. He then pulled me out of the school and to Hogsmeade and we disappeared. If I had known this would be my fate I wouldn’t have changed a thing. It’s been two years and I still wear the ring I would visit but it would be too heart breaking to see him with someone else. I had been getting letters form all of them, I was happy for James when he told me he married Lily, but my heart broke all the same. I still get letters from them but with the war going on over there they barely have time. I smiled as I looked at the last thing James sent me, a photo of him Lily and their son, Harry.
