I feel as though I am losing faith in my own story, and myself. Is that silly?


'George, honey. Where are you?' Katie had just arrived home from the dress fitting and flower arrangers to an empty house.

She checked everywhere but was not successful, so she decided to go out to the shed at the bottom of the garden. She knew that if George needed time alone then he would go to the shed. This shed was of significant importance, it was the Quidditch shed. Both Weasley twins were equally in love with the wizarding sport. All the Weasleys loved it, the whole family. The shed was home to a number of brooms, kits, uniforms and Fred's old broom. George cleaned and polished this broom monthly and made sure it was safe at all times.

If George ever felt down and he wanted to be brave about it, he would go to the bottom of the garden.

Katie opened the door and walked in.

'Hey, do you want to talk about it? Everybody misses him. These babies are not going to change that.'

'I know. I just don't want to accidentally forget him. I felt the exact same when we decided to call our baby Fred. I felt as though it would be another Fred, the old one replaced. I have nothing against Vic or Ted, I just couldn't cope with another set of twins to ruin memories.'

'I am sure that will never happen. Nobody could let that happen. Nobody here knows how that feels, no one in this family watched his twin die but we are all behind you. We understand loss, of course, but we could never really feel your pain.'

'You are really lucky, you don't understand. I don't mean that badly but I just want you to know that that could never change, you couldn't possibly understand it.'

'I know honey, I am really sorry.'

Throughout the conversation Katie had been moving slowly towards her husband. He was sitting on a bench and now so was Katie. She moved next to him, ending the moment with a kiss.



OK. I hope that makes the George thing clear. I thought that I should get that qualified.



That leaves the guys' outfits. That will have to be for next time but because I really can't think. Robes or Tuxedos????

I wouldn't call it silly. I would say it is silly of you if you really believe it. I think self doubt comes about when you really like something a lot, in your case this story, and you start to worry if you're good enough to tell it as good as you have it in your head. There's nothing wrong with that as long as you don't go overboard and worry. Try to think of it as a built in emotion that makes us always do the best we can. And you must be, because your story is very good, and you deliver it very well. For example: I can see George in solitude, thinking of his brother, missing him, and wishing he was still there. The image is so clear because you made it for us. None of that was in any of the books or movies. So, just do your best always. We all appreciate your talent. I'll be watching for your next post. Great job.

How do you post loads of quotes from different people.

When do I know what I have been sorted into? I have done the quiz thing but when do I find out?

The button to the right of the quote one is Multi quote. Or they just separate the post by taking a different part by coping that and putting it in to a new quote thing.. I know I'm terrible at explaining

teehee, that is basically right. You just click the button that has the big quotes and the plus sign at the bottom right of the posts you want to quote and then click post reply and they will all show up

Hey Katie, congradulations on getting sorted! I was just sorted this past week-end. I took the test before I went to bed and a PM was waiting for me when I got up. I was congradulated and told what House I was sorted in, and told things I could do to get ready for term. But, they are under high volume of sorting, so it could take longer. If doubtful, or I haven't explained to your understanding, you can go to 93/4 newbie thread and check out what they say there.

This quoting thing I'll try, but, if someone else has a better way of doing it, then please feel free to say so. Here's what I do:
1.When I'm ready to comment or post a chapter, I click on, POST REPLY.
2.Then I go to the comment I want to quote, HIGHLIGHT and click COPY.
3.Return to window you have open to post on, then up there on the tool bar within the post window, you see the: Fonts, Sizes, Color, Smilies... and on the bottom row you have:B,I,U... Well at the end > just before the # is a SQUARE BUBBLE (wrap [QUOTE] tags around selected text) Click on that. Put your curser in between the ][ then CLICK on Paste. Your highlighted sentence(s) will appear there. Repeat for each different quote. Hope this helps you without confusion. Oh, and one more thing, if it takes very long, like it does me, it's a good idea to stop after a bit, and click on PREVIEW POST so SS doesn't think you walked off with that window open and knock you off. When you do this just go back to your window your posting in and finish.

I sure hope this helps you. And you can do steps 2, & 3, in the reverse order of what I told you if you would rather.

Hey there! Congratulations on your sorting! I'm sure you'll be very happy. I hope all the nerves can be settled so they can enjoy the moment. I remember my wedding like it was yesterday. When things don't go as planned, it tends to get a little hectic. My husbands best man didn't show up to the wedding till 1 minute before it was to start. He got a speeding ticket and the officer thought it't be funny to take his time and see if he did any more speeding to get there on time. And, I think you're correct. Most of the time it is the ladies who handle the stress the best. I'll be watching for your next post.

Haha, all this talk of weddings makes me remember my sisters.. Was really nice, I almost fainted in it (and I was the bridesmaid) I broke down crying half way through the wedding and had to sit down for half the service.. Wasn't that bad though, the dancing afterwords was nice even though I cried again I was emotionally stressed I guess.

Anyways, I like the new part! It was funny
