I am making the girls 11weeks-ish because I know what 11 week old twins can do because I have 11 week old twin cousins. They can smile and play in a baby gym and they do just stare at you so I just put that in. Connie, if you think something is wrong I’m sorry. It’s just what my cousins can do.

We walked in to the livingroom and sat Dad on his armchair. He was hyperventilating and just staring at Teddy’s face. I thought he was going to start touching his face so make sure it was real but thanks goodness he didn’t.

Mum walked into the room with Violet in her arms. ‘Hello dear, how are-‘

‘Hello Mrs Weasley.’ Said Ted from behind me. He smiled at her and walked towards her. He took one of his daughters in his arms. ‘Who do I have here?’

‘That’s Violet honey. Evie is on her baby gym over there.’

He walked over as Mum approached me and gave me a confused look. ‘Is everything OK?’

‘Everything is perfect.’ That was all I could say at that moment. I was still in shock myself; my parents’ brains must have been going 100 miles per hour. I could hear the clogs in mum’s brain whizzing to find the answer.

‘They are beautiful Victoire. I’m sorry I left you all.’ Said Ted from the corner.

I walked towards him and put my arm round his hip.

‘Don’t worry about it, you’re here now.’ I kissed his cheek then got Evie from her gym. She smiled at me and I laughed at her.

We were finally one happy family. The four of us, together. Violet was looking at her dad as if she recognised him but he was completely new. She was in his arms, a stranger’s arms but so happy.

‘Can we swap? I would love to hold Evie.’

Sure, come here baba.’ I cooed at Violet as we swapped. I put her over my shoulder and winded her. I could feel the drool on my top but I didn’t care.

Evie started to cry a little bit. Ted looked at me and I just replied with a smile. He walked around the room rocking her slightly, she immediately calmed down, that’s my girl.

‘Now, if you don’t mind could you explain to me what exactly is going in. After that Firewhisky, I’m ready.’

‘Do you want to explain? I know some of it so I could do it or would you rather?’ I asked Ted, not sure if he would want to have to remember it.

‘I can do it Vic. Don’t worry.

‘Well, you know that Ron and Harry survived and they were left with a whole bunch of wands-‘

‘How do you know that?’ I asked him. I was surprised that he knew this; we hadn’t even talked about my Uncles.

‘I can read the newspaper Vic. Knowing that they were OK was the thing that kept me walking. I had to walk because I had no wand-‘

‘But you said they made you a wand. Didn’t you?’

‘Vic, I was getting onto that part honey.’

‘Sorry. Continue.’

‘We were brought to a place that had alot of wooden pillars. It looked like we could have been underground. They put five of us on each pillar and tied us together. Then the interrogations started, they had really strong accents and sometimes you couldn’t understand them. Nobody could say ‘pardon’ or ‘what’ because they would have killed you there and then. They were easily insulted. I was praying to Merlin when he got to my pillar. When I say he I mean Kefentse, he was the head of the baddies if you like.

‘He asked me about the Ministry and how they found out about the things going on in South Africa. I refused to answer; he smirked at me and yelled ‘Crucio!’ The pain was awful, like a shock running through my body. When it hits your brain, it’s like nothing you could ever experience, the pain is excruciating.’ I looked at Ted’s eyes. They were glazed over like he was in a trance. He kind of ‘woke up’ and said. ‘Sorry. I shouldn’t have described that, sorry.’

‘Don’t worry son. Would you like to continue?’ Said Dad.

‘I’m fine Mr Weasley,’ Dad gave him a stern look and he corrected himself. ‘Sorry, Bill.’

Kefentse is an African name. I did a bit of research for a good and proper name for him. It means Conqueror. I don’t want him to be a conqueror or anything I just thought it was a good name.

I will just leave it here. I didn’t want to make you all too depressed in the one go so I will split the explanation up.

Hey Katie. I'm sorry, I've been so long getting to your story. It just seems like everybody posts often and all at the same time. I'm having troubles keeping up, and still living in the real world. What? I don't understand. What did I say that could have given you that impression? I only remember saying nice things. I'm sorry. I can't believe I would be such a jerk! Hey, this is the Monday after the Wednesday that I said I would post and I am dreadfully sorry. I actually haven't written it yet. SORRY EVERYBODY!! Things have been hectic because my bedroom was decorated but it got finished yesterday (just need my new duvet-cases and a desk) so I will start writing.

Hello my lovely readers. I am not having the best day and I have just received some not-so-good news so I am sorry if it comes through in my writing. Where was I again? Oh yeah. Teddy!!!! He was explaining everything wasn’t he?

‘For weeks five of us were strapped to the same pillar. We had eaten stale bread and drank nothing. We all thought we were going to die and the guy sitting next to me was on his last breath. One after the other, three guys died. Then it was me and Darren Malone left. He was a great guy, kept us positive but he knew he was leaving us too. He gave Kefentse too much cheek to survive any longer. He had a wife at home who was expecting a baby just like me so we had gone through the exact same feelings. He kept me strong but as soon as he was killed I had nothing else to keep me going. Victoire kept me alive but she couldn’t keep me strong, I was weak and depressed. I couldn’t handle living any longer. I knew that my babies were going to be born at any minute because I asked the guard the date, it was so close. But I still couldn’t hold on.

‘At night I was alone. Nobody bothered to keep watch on me – they knew there wasn’t a point because I couldn’t do anything. One night, they got it wrong. I had been cutting my ropes on the jagged corner of the pillar every night. That night, they finally broke.

‘I walked towards the big doors and collected my wand that they had made me – ‘

‘They made you a wand?’ Said Dad, I knew where I got my interrupting skills from.

‘Yeah, all of our wands were left in the field and they tested us when we got there and killed the ones that weren’t as good at magic as others. The good ones were strapped on the pillars and the not so good were burned.’

‘Oh right. Carry on son.’ At that moment I felt serious love for my father. He had accepted my husband and accepted me. It frustrated me that he needed Ted to die and come back to realise that he was a good guy but it was brilliant all the same.

‘When I was out in the open air I realised that I wasn’t in South Africa anymore. I had been there long enough to know that that wasn’t it. This was too green and nice, too many farms and hills. As soon as I met one farmer I knew where I was. I was in France. Fleur, I’m so glad that you speak French a lot when you babble because I would never have recognised the language. I stayed with Pierre for a while, he and his wife fed me and gave me a bed – I just had to help with the pigs. Only problem was, they were Muggles and I didn’t know how to muck out pigs by hand and they got a little suspicious that I was a bit weird so I moved on.

I got near a forest and I apparated to the south of England and grabbed the first Daily Prophet I could see. I saw Scotland’s upcoming Quidditch match and I saw Rob Fiddle and you in a picture. The headline was ‘Rob gets a new woman’ and it said you two were away to Sweden.
