Where is he? I need him! Why couldn't he be quicker?

Within moments of moaning, there was a whisper from the door. 'Alohamora!'

He had saved me. In time he had come.

I woke in an unfamiliar room, surrounded by Healers. I was in a lot of pain and there was people surrounding my bed, two people were holding something.

'She's awake!!'

'Shhh....'

The shouter was James, my favourite cousin. He was holding some blankets in a cylinder shape, the blanket was pink. As I looked closer at everybody, I saw that Hermione was holding a bundle too, a pink bundle.

'Hey Victoire. Aren't they just beautiful?' Mum said, standing next to Hermione, staring at the blanket.

'Who?'

'The twins. Your daughters. Ted would have been so happy.'

'Can I see them please? They are mine.'

'Sure.' James said, sad as he parted with the light bundle.

She was just beautiful. Ted's double, but a girl. This was Evie Fleur. I could just tell. The cute little girl I was holding was actually mine, my daughter.

As Hermione handed me the other little bundle I immediately knew this was Violet Tonks. They were both beautiful, both like Teddy, well they were twins.


The door opened and I heard footsteps coming towards me. They were heavy so I could sense it was a man. My eyes were closed but I knew who it was. It had to be him. A crying noise came from the crib next to my bed, like one of the girls was being lifted up. He was cuddling one.

‘Who do you have there?’

‘You aren’t asleep, I’m sorry I should have asked you if I could lift her. Sorry. According to her tag this is Evie.’

‘She is a lot cuddlier than Violet, she just cries if you lift her.’

‘Can I hold her please? You can have Evie.’

‘Sure. Thanks,’ I said as he lay Evie on me.’I can’t believe how small and light they are.’

‘All that matters is that they are healthy and so are you.’

‘Why would you care if I was healthy or not?’
‘Well, I care about you so I want the best for you.’

‘What is best for me?’

‘Me.’

‘Rob, you don’t mean that. You can’t possibly mean that.’

‘I do. I would love to say I do after you walk down the aisle towards me.’

‘It’s too soon for now. You can be my babysitter at the moment.’

‘Sounds good to me, I could hold them for days at a time. I could hold you for days too.’

‘Hold me then.’

He sat on the bed and put his arm around my shoulder, holding me close. We put our arms together so that the twins were right next to each other.

‘They are just gorgeous, aren’t they?’

‘Not as gorgeous as their Mum.’

Then, he kissed me on the cheek. I leaned my head on his shoulder and cried. I was in a major dilemma. I was in love with a man who had been previously engaged to my best friend and I had just lost my husband. This wasn’t right.

Correct you are, Vic. This isn't right. I think that she needs to be with JUST her babies right now, not Rob. Then maybe over time or something, when he's not such a slimeball for going after a recently widowed woman with new twins, they could maybe figure out what their feelings mean. Oh who am I kidding? I just don't like the guy. But it's not my story, it's yours, and whatever you write, I'll love

Hello Katie, I don't know what to think of Rob. He's no good for trying to move in on Ted's territory. He was still going to go through with marrying Amelie while still saying he loved Vic. He shows no morals whatsoever, and I don't see why Vic would want someone like that around, and especially where the babies are concearned. I would think Vic would want good influences around her babies. But then, the way he picked up the baby to cuddle her when he thought Vic was asleep was sweet. At least that's one good thing he has going for him. I'm anxious to see if Vic comes to her senses and tosses Rob out on his ear. Post when you can.

Katie, if I'm getting into the story too much and it makes you feel bad, please let me know, and I'll edit my comment. You are a good writer, and I want to encourage you. I just don't like Rob, and the situation Vic has allowed herself to be in.

Connie, I don't mind suggestions but I do have a plan so I won't be needing them a while. It's annoying when you all get it right! But, so far nobody has it right!

No it is NOT although I think Rob is rather sweet around her and she does seem genuinly happy...maybe it could work for them...just not so soon after Teddy's death, wait a few months like 12 or 18 months that's a good amount of time right??? But I have a feeling that they'll have sex and she'll get pregnant and then they'll get married just like it happened with Teddy and Vic
