Hey Everybody! This is my Sequel to Somebody to Love Sa+13. I hope you all like it, b/c it's still Draco/Hermione!!! I will never get tired of the ship! So yea, it takes place after Draco and Hermione's wedding, and they're currently living in a small apartment in Diagon Ally, where Hermione runs a rather large shop that sells Wizarding robes. Madam Malkins has moved out of Diagon Ally, for reasons unknown.... Draco works at Gringotts. And now the plot thickens...

Hermione awoke before her alarm went off. She crawled out of bed. Draco was already off to work. Maybe she could see him before he went to work. Hermione wanted to check to see if he had brought a lunch. He was so bad at remembering that! She smiled as she looked downstairs. Draco was laboring over his PB and J. Hermione went downstairs and took the knife and sandwich. Draco grinned at her.

"Well, at least I didn't forget...right?" Hermione grinned at him.

"Well, I guess not. It's still just as bad. There," She said, closing up the lunch bag. "All ready for work. I'll be closing shop early, so you'd better get home early as well."

"Why are you closing early?"

"Well, first off, some robes are a little torn, so I'm sewing them back up. Secondly...it's our two year anniversary!"

"Oh yea! OK, I'll be home early."

Hermione sent Draco off to work, and went in the shower. Today promised to be a productive day.

OK, I didn't expect any readers, since I only PMed you guys, like, 5 minutes ago! So to give you something to read, here's the next chapter!

Hermione opened her store at 9, but today she opened at 8:30. Today started the early rush to buy robes, and she wanted to take full advantage of it. Her two assistants, Lily and Mark, were standing at the door.

"Hey Hermione! Why so early? We barely had time to read your owl's note." Mark complained as he walked over to the register.

"Mark, this is why you run the register. You complain too much. Lily, what would I do without you?" Lily grinned as she put her employee shirt on.

"Probably cry in your corner. Where is the new shipment? And where's Ciana? She's supposed to be mending today, right?"

"Ciana got married Lily. She quit. I'm mending for her today, and tomorrow. Next week, you'll be mending, and I'll help the customers. But it's ok, because not so much is being torn. You won't have alot to do, and you can help assist me with the customers." Hermione got out her needle and thread. "OK guys, back to work!"

The morning rush was pretty busy. Hermione finished mending five robes, and managed to get them back on the racks before lunchtime. She had used the muggle idea of pre-made robes, and profits were way up. Hermione overlooked her shop with pride.

"Hey you girl! Watch where you're going!" CRASH. "Now look what you've done! Just wait till I tell your manager!" Hermione groaned.

A tall, thin woman strode towards Hermione, and Lily was in tow. The woman thrust an empty cart at her.

"You! Look at this mess! This cart was full of items I had planned to buy at your store! Now they're scattered to the four winds! I just wanted to let you know that I'm never shopping here again, as long as this clumsy cow is still working here!" And with that, the woman turned and stomped out of the store. Hermione sighed. And it wasn't even lunch time yet.

Draco wasn't having a good day at work either. After a good morning, a strange man walked into Gringotts.

"You! Boy! Come here." Draco strode over to the man.

"Can I help you sir?"

"Yes. I want you to go to my...vault. I need you to take something out for me."

"Well, can't you do it yourself? Or at least come with me?"

"NO!...I mean....no. Please, do this for me. Here is all the information you will need to know." The man pulled out an envelope and gave it to Draco. Draco shrugged, and went to his hand car.

After a few mintues of riding in the car, he pulled up to the vault. He opened the letter.

Draco,

There is a second letter in this envelope. Open it only when you have entered the vault. That letter will have everything you need to know inside it.

Draco raised an eyebrow at the cryptic message. He pulled out the key to the vault, and went inside. The door slammed shut. Draco turned and tried to turn the lock. It refused to budge. Slightly panicked now, Draco banged on the door. Remembering the paper, he ripped it open.

Draco,

I finally have you. Inside this vaultis one of your old flames: Pansy Parkinson. To get out, you must prove your everlasting love to her, like you did in school. You must find her first. After you have done this, I hope that you will forget your marriage with the mudblood and come back into the fold.

Lucius Malfoy

Draco crumpled the letter into his fist. PANSY??? God Damn It! He cried out in rage and frustration. He heard a movement behind him.

"Draco..." He whirled around and was forced in an embrace with Pansy Parkinson.

Oh, thanks for the PM! I wouldn't have known otherwise. I really wanna kil Pansy now, she is really getting on my nerves. She does not deserve Draco! Draco deserves Hermione!

OK people, chapter 3 is in the house!

Draco was locked in a forced embrace with Pansy Parkinson.

"Let go of me you swine!" Draco pulled himself out of her grasp and surveyed her appearence. She looked terrible. Her hair was in a wild disarray, and her clothes were disheveled. She looked like a hooker that had to leave early. She probably did, Draco thought to himself.

"Where were you before this Pansy? You look terrible."

"I was entertaining...your father Draco. He's a very wild man. No wonder he left your mother. She couldn't...meet his needs." Pansy smiled and walked towards Draco. "But he just made me ready...for you." She grabbed at him, but Draco evaded her forray.

"Give it up Pansy. You're a disgusting slob. And a shvoot. I'm appalled that you...and my father..." He shook his head. "I just can't believe you. Now I have to leave you. I hope you rot."

Draco ran towards the door, but Pansy stopped him.

"But Draco...I loved you....I always loved you. Why couldn't you have loved me the same way?"

"Because you didn't care about me Pansy. You only cared about your image. Hanging off my arm, never leaving me alone...you were only good for a good snog once and a while. Now get out of my way Parkinson...or I'll hex you."

Pansy whimpered and got out of Draco's way. Draco performed a nonverbal spell, and the door flew open. Draco helped Pansy out.

"Now Parkinson...you get back to my father...and you tell him...that he can have you...because I'm not leaving Hermione!"

With that, Draco turned and Apparated into Hermione's store.

Hermione heard a sharp crack coming from the storeroom. She hurried into it, only to find Draco, covered in dust and looking exhausted.

"Draco! Why aren't you at work? What happened?" Draco looked up at her.

"Hermione...I love you so much..." He embraced her. She hugged him back, but then pulled away.

"Draco...what's wrong?"

"I....ran into Pansy." Hermione's lips thinned in a McGonagall-like way.

"What did that cow want with you Draco?"

"It wasn't what Pansy wanted...It was what my father wanted. He wanted me to leave you and take Pansy. Then I could be accepted back into my house again." Hermione paled.

"But Draco...didn't your father die? When he kidnapped me...didn't you finish him?"

"Apparently not dear. But at least he's not after you anymore. Now, he's just after me." Hermione stood up.

"I'm closing shop early. You are to go upstairs, take a shower, then get into bed. I'm going to bring you dinner. But wait for me, because I'm not letting you out of my sight!"

"But Hermione...what about when I get into the shower?" He looked slyly up at her. Hermione leaned in.

"Well then...looks like I'll have to improvise." They shared a kiss, then Hermione went to close the store.

Did that make everybody feel better?

Yea, I know....but that was a spur-of-the-moment thing.

OK, Chapter 4 is on the way! Yea!

Draco ejoyed a nice long hot shower with Hermione as his guard. He thought she was over-reacting, but he could see her point. He would be doing the same for Hermione. Draco had pulled Hermione into the shower with him, and things had started to heat up. But when Draco started to get alittle carried away, Hermione turned the cold water on to blasting. Draco gave a little yelp, and Hermione got out to change and make Draco dinner. Draco got into his pajamas and climbed into bed. Hermione came up with a tray of warm soup and grilled cheese sandwiches.

"Here honey, eat this." Hermione gave Draco the soup, then sat on the edge of the bed. She played with her hands for awhile. Draco noticed.

"Hermione, what's wrong?" Hermione looked up at him, then looked down.

"I'll...I'll tell you later Draco, ok?" Hermione shifted in her seat, then climbed into bed with Draco. Draco waved his wand, and the empty dishes disappeared. He put his arm around her.

"Hermione, please tell me what's bothering you."

"Draco...I'm pregnant." Draco took his arm off her. He got out of bed. He looked at his wife.

"Hermione...you're serious?"

"Yes Draco...I'm due in May. I took some tests while you were at work, and I think it's going to be a girl." Draco grinned and couldn't stop. He was going to be a father. Him, Draco Malfoy, a daddy.

"Well, what should we name her?" Draco asked Hermione.

"I don't know yet. I was thinking about Cheyanne, but I could be persuaded into a different name Draco."

"Well, Mrs. Hermione Granger Malfoy, I don't think that we should pick just any name for our daughter. What about....Simone?"

Hermione and Draco stayed up half the night thinking up names and such. They fell asleep in each others arms, Hermione happy to have Draco back home safe and sound, Draco just happy to be with Hermione.

OK, I know that was short, but I needed the bridge to lead off into the next chapter.

Pansy returned to Malfoy Manor, a little shaken up. No one had refused her up until now. Even Draco's father had fallen for her, why couldn't she get to his son.She entered the house and went up to her bedroom. She had to figure out a way to tell Lucius so he wouldn't be angry at her. But she knew he would be furious anyway. Maybe he would beat her before they went to bed. Lucius wasn't very predictable. She gave a little gasp as she entered her room. Lucius was on the bed, waiting for her.

"Where is Draco, Pansy? Where is my son?" Pansy stuttered.

"L-Lucius....I couldn't.....get to him. He loves that stupid mudblood!" Suddenly, she was talking fast. "I tried to seduce him, like you told me too, but he just wouldn't bite. He...he called me....a-" Before she could finish, Lucius slapped her across the face. She staggered, and suddenly Lucius was on top of her, hitting her and screaming at her.

"Pansy! I TOLD YOU TO GET THIS DONE! DIDN'T I TELL YOU HOW IMPORTANT IT WAS TO GET DRACO HERE!" Pansy screamed out for help, but Lucius put his hand over her mouth.

"If you scream for help, I'll do more than just torture you. You know what I'm capable of Pansy...DON'T drive me to do it." Pansy squirmed with memories, but she fell silent. Lucius got up off of her, and grabbed her by the arm.

"Now, Pansy, I need you to do something else for me. I need you to spy on Hermione. I have sources that say she's with child, but I can't know for sure unless you tell me. Do you understand? Can you do this?" Pansy nodded. Lucius smiled. "Good. Now, get into bed."

Pansy scrambled for the bed, eager to please her master. Lucius looked at her.

"Ahhh...my son. Soon you will realize...No One Messes With Lucius Malfoy."

Hermione moved slowly that morning, her stomach was hurting her that day. Draco promised to stay home and work the shop, and do little odd-jobs for Hermione. Hermione took the mending job, so she wouldn't be too strained. To help Hermione out with the shop, Harry sent over his daughter Sam to help. Sam was eager to please Aunt Hermione and Uncle Draco, so Hermione took Lily and gave Sam to her.

"Lily, let Sam help you with customers today. With the both of you working on that, Draco can keep a general eye out on the store. Please help her out Sam, and if you need help, just ask Draco, Lily, or myself. OK?"

"Yes Aunt Hermione." Sam was very eager to help with the shop. Hermione was even thinking about hiring Sam permenatly, if she did a good enough job.

The morning went very fast, without any disturbances. The only problem was, what was Pansy Parkinson doing hanging outside the shop? Hermione almost told Draco, but she deceided against worrying him further. He was already preoccupied about Cara, their baby. Hermione was glad they named her Cara. Cara in Italian means, Darling, or Dear.

Hermione hadn't told anyone, but word had spread through the employees that she was pregnant, courtisy of Sam. She meant no harm, but now the customers knew, which meant that Pansy knew to, as she was still out there, talking to departing customers. It was time to tell Draco.

"Draco?" Draco turned around. He had been restocking the racks.

"Yea?"

"Umm....I saw Pansy Parkinson outside the store a few hours ago." Draco's face darkened.

"Why didn't you tell me this before?"

"Because I didn't want to worry you. But now I'm worried. Because....she knows I'm pregnant."

"How does she know?"

"Because my customers knew, and she talked to them. Naturally, they would want to spread good news about somebody."

Hermione immediatly regretted that she had said anything. Draco's look could kill people now, and he took Hermione by the shoulders.

"I don't want you out of my sight. From now on, you are to be on the lookout for anybody. I'm hiring security guards. But they'll be people I know, not strangers. I also don't want you talking to anyone you don't know. If it means you doing mending for awhile, so be it. But I won't lose you Hermione. I won't, and I'll make sure I don't."

Well? How was that?

Pansy didn't return to Malfoy Manor after she discovered what Lucius wanted to know. She had an important meeting...with a certain Severus Snape. She had been Snape's servant for some time now, and only went to Lucius when Snape told her too. Snape was gathering the Death Eaters, old and new, for the first strike since the destruction of Lord Voldemort. Snape was their leader, but Lucius liked to pretend that he was in fact, the one in charge. Pansy was near his side simply to encourage him, and to keep an eye on him. Lucius had no idea that Pansy was a spy for Snape. Snape opened the door for Pansy.

"Pansy, what an honor it is. I assume you got Lucius's information?"

"Yes Severus. Lucius wished to confirm the fact that Hermione was pregnant."

"And?" Snape leaned foward with interest.

"She is Severus. She's due in May."

"Damn It! So far away!" Snape flung one of the couch pillows across the room, then sat down on the couch. "This may complicate things a bit." Pansy went over to massage Snape's back.

"If only there was a way to reach her and destroy the child before then...May, did you say?"

"Yes Severus. But why is destroying the child so important?"

"Because, you foolish girl, this child is said to be the permenant downfall of any and all Death Eaters. Now, you and I know that Lucius and I are what hold the Death Eaters together. If we are killed, the whole clan will fall apart. This child must be stopped!"

Snape lowered his voice.

"If I have to kill the mother, I will. If I have to kill the father, I will do that as well. Will you help me Pansy? Can I depend on you?" Pansy faced Snape.

"Leave Draco to me. Now I must return to Lucius. He'll need to be...attended to this evening."

"Go quickly Pansy. I will send you an owl saying when to strike at Draco."

Hermione soon grew bored of staying inside the apartment and the store all day and night. She longed to be outside. It wasn't good for her or the baby. So when Draco went to watch the store, Hermione apparated outside. She breathed in deeply the early September air. Fall smelt so good.

"Now this is the only way to live." She said out loud, and began walking down the street, towards The Leaky Cauldren, hoping for some freshmade butterbeer. Little did she know of the danger in store for her and Cara, and Draco as well, that leaving the apartment was going to be the worst mistake of her life...

Ahhhh...I love cliffhangers!
