Some of my readers have not posted yet about the last chapter, but those who have here is the next chapter!
Chapter 3:
Dear Ron,
Of course! I’d do anything for you on your special day. When should I get there? What should I wear? Who is this girl? And… why isn’t Hermione going? Anyways… I’ll see you later.
Harry
Ron read Harry’s letter.
“ Yes!” Ron yelled.
“ Ron what’s the matter?” Jennifer asked.
“ Harry said yes!”
“ Oh fantastic! So he wants to see Hermione again?”
“ Ummm… well…”
“ Ronald Weasley what did you do?”
“ I told Harry that Hermione wasn’t coming to our wedding”.
“ Ron!”
“ It was the only way Jen!”
“ But still! Won’t Hermione recognize Harry?”
“ Does it matter? Hermione looks totally different now since when Harry last
saw her. She has highlights and stuff and I’m sure Harry looks different too”.
“ That’s true”.
“ Jen chill. Everything will be all right.”
“ I hope so Ron. If not you’ll regret it!”
Jennifer then stomped off into the kitchen.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
“ I wonder who my partner is going to be?” Hermione thought to herself.
Ever since she found out Ron had picked someone already Hermione had been
nervous.
Hermione dosed off in her chair.
“ Hermione come over here and meet your partner” Ron said.
Hermione walked over to Ron and saw the man standing next to him. She
couldn’t see his face.
“ Hi I’m Hermione” Hermione said as she held out her hand.
“ Hello, it's me Herm…”
“ James!” Ron cut in.
“ Ron that was rude” Hermione said.
“ But he’s right my name is James”.
Hermione laughed.
Ron left after a while due to some emergency with Fred and George.
James turned to Hermione.
“ Hermione I'm not James...don’t you remember me?”
Hermione looked up into "James" face. His face was starting to become
clearer and it was…
“ Oh my gosh!” Hermione gasped.
RRRRIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG!
Hermione jumped. The phone was ringing. She picked it up.
“ Hello?”
“ Hermione it’s me Jen”.
” Hey what’s up?”
“ I just called to tell you that we have a wedding recital tomorrow afternoon”.
“ Already?”
“ Yes already! And you get to meet you partner!”
“ That’s great!”
“ Yea… well I’ll see you tomorrow at 1 o’ clock sharp”.
“ You got it”.
“ Okay bye”.
“ Bye”.
Hermione hung up. She was about to recall her dream but suddenly she
realized she forgot what she dreamed about! But to her it didn’t matter
much, she was going to meet her partner tomorrow.
Jennifer however hung up feeling guilty.
“ I’m sorry for whatever pain you are going to go through Hermione. I really
am.”
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Harry closed his luggage. Her would be departing in about an hour to Ron’s
place.
Harry was nervous. He wanted to make a good impression on this girl but
didn’t know how. His history with girls was awful. The only relationship he
had been in and the only relationship that had been strong for a long time
was with Hermione.
“ Hermione” Harry sighed.
Brian came in.
” Hello Harry. I let myself in you know since you had your door wide open!
Haven't you ever heard about locking your door you idiot! Someone
could have barged in here!... Hermione? Hermione Granger?”
“ Like you! And yes Hermione Granger”.
“ I thought you were over her”.
“ So did I”.
“ Well when are you leaving to Ron’s?”
“ Right now.”
“ Oh well I just dropped by to say good bye and have fun.”
“ Thanks Brian. This is probably the weirdest conversation we have ever had”.
“ Probably” Brian laughed. " Now be a good boy darling!"
" I'll try mother!" Harry laughed.
Harry gathered his belongings and thought of Ron’s place, and within seconds
he was standing outside his front door.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Hedwig soared through the air. She was looking all over the place for
something. She spotted it after awhile. She flew down and landed on top of
her shoulder.
Hermione jumped and looked up from the magazine she was reading.
“ Hedwig?” she said in shock.
Hedwig hooted and nipped Hermione’s ear softly then she took off. Hermione
was still in shock. After awhile…
“Harry?”

Chapter 4:
Harry knocked on Ron’s front door. After a few minutes Jennifer opened the
door and smiled at Harry.
“ Hey Harry!”
“ Hello Jen... or should I say Mrs. Weasley?”
Jen wrinkled her nose in a sarcastic way and said, “ I don’t think so”.
Harry laughed.
“ Come in Harry, Ron’s in the kitchen”.
“ Ron? In the kitchen?”
“ Yes. If he wants to marry me he has to know how to cook”.
Harry laughed. He had forgotten how much he had missed being with Jen and
everyone else.
“ So how are the wedding things going?” Harry asked as they headed
towards the kitchen.
“ There going fantastic! We are going to have the first wedding recital
tomorrow and…”
“ Jen shut up and let Harry actually get into a chair before you start ranting
about the wedding” came Ron’s voice.
Jen blushed. Ron appeared at the kitchen doorway.
“ I’m only kidding love. Harry how are you?”
“ Great and you?”
“ Good. I’ve just finished making dinner let’s go eat.”
“ Ron I don’t want to die before the wedding” Jen said, getting back at Ron.
“ Well if you don’t eat your wedding dress will fall off! You have lost a lot of
weight!” Ron replied.
“ Oh whatever. Come on Harry. If I have to eat his cooking so do you”
Jennifer said as she grabbed Harry hand and dragged him into the kitchen.
Harry, Ron, and Jennifer all enjoyed their dinner. Harry talked about how his
life in New York was and how happy he was to be back in London. After they
finished their meal…
“ So why isn’t Hermione coming to the wedding?” Harry asked.
Ron and Jennifer stayed quite.
“ Is it because I was coming?”
“ Oh Harry don’t be stupid!” Jennifer said.
“ Then?” Harry pressed on.
“ She has to work the day of our wedding and couldn’t afford to miss a day
of work since she has to pay her rent and stuff” Ron piped up.
“ Oh…” Harry said.
The three still talked for about two more hours until they all went to bed.
Harry went to the guest room and after a while Jen walked in with a blanket.
“ Here’s a blanket in case you get cold Harry”.
“ Jen can I ask you to do me a favor?”
“ Sure Harry”.
“ Tomorrow before the recital can you take me to see Hermione?”
Jen stayed quite.
“ Please Jen. I’m dying to see her.”
“ Harry I… sure… sure why not”.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Hermione lay in her bed. It was 12 o’clock in the morning.
“ Just one more hour until the recital” Hermione said to herself.
The phone rang.
“ Hello?”
“ Hermione?” It was Jennifer.
“ Yeah?”
“ Are you home?”
“ Yes why?”
“ I’m going over”.
“ No don’t.”
“ Why?”
“ I just got up and…”
” Oh okay then”.
“ See you later”.
Hermione hung up. She had heard two other voices talking in the background
from Jennifer’s side. One was Ron’s but the other…
“ He’s my partner… No! I said I wouldn’t see him again!” Hermione yelled.
She started to cry.
“ Peter where are you when I need you the most?” Hermione cried.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
“ Harry we can’t go over. She’s busy.”
“ Did you tell her it was me who wanted to see her?”
“ No but you’ll see her later today don’t worry.”
“ I will?”
“ Yeah she’s….”
Jennifer stopped after Ron gave her a “ Shut up! You’ll ruin everything” look.
“ She’s going shopping with me later”.
“ Oh”.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
It was one thirty and Hermione still hadn’t shown up or to Harry his ‘partner’
hadn’t shown up.
“ Jen where is Hermione?” Ron whispered.
“ She knows Ron. She knows Harry is her partner”.
“ You told her?”
“ No but when I talked to her over the phone Harry was talking for a while
and I think she recognized his voice”.
“ What are we going to do?”
Jennifer got up and announced that everyone could go. Harry came over.
“ What happened?”
“ We can’t practice with people missing”.
“ Jen no I’ll learn the steps and I’ll teach then to my partner later”.
Jen looked at Harry and said, “ All right”.
And so they had the recital.

“ Ron come on! Or do you want to wear your Yule Ball robes again?”
“ Go on Hermione. Prove me wrong” Jennifer said and gave Hermione a little
push.
Hermione stayed where she was.
“ Ron can you come over here hun?” Jennifer called.
“ Coming” Ron replied and came into the hall.
“ Hermione?” Ron said as he saw her.
“ Ron let’s go upstairs and let them talk” Jennifer said.
“ Okay” Ron replied and the two of them went upstairs.
Hermione took a deep breath and headed towards the living room.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Hermione walked into the living room and automatically saw Harry. He looked
the same as he had last time she saw him. Hermione’s eyes filled up with
tears.
Harry looked up once she entered.
“ Hello” he said.
“ He doesn’t recognize me!” Hermione thought.
“ Hello. Um… Ron and Jennifer told me my partner for the wedding was in here
so I decided to come and say sorry for not showing up today”.
“ It’s okay. I learned everything so I can show you” Harry replied. “ Wow
she beautiful” Harry thought.
Hermione couldn’t take it anymore. She hadn’t changed that much!
“ Harry James Potter don’t…” Hermione began.
“ How do you know my entire name?” Harry cut her off.
“ I..” Hermione decided to walk out but Harry grabbed her by her arm and
pulled her back.
“ It can’t be her” Harry thought.
Hermione tripped on the carpet and landed into his arms. Hermione looked up
and starred straight into Harry’s eyes, which ended up being a mistake.
“ Her… Hermione?” Harry said.
Hermione looked away. She tried to leave but Harry kept a firm grip on her.
Hermione looked up at Harry again and said, “ Hi Harry”.
“ Hermione it’s you!” Harry smiled.
“ The one and only” Hermione said as she pulled away from Harry, who finally
losened his grip.
“ Wow… you look fantastic! How are you?” Harry said smiling.
“ I’m good and I don’t look that great” Hermione blushed.
Harry said nothing he just stared at Hermione.
“ So… how have you been?” Hermione said in order to break the silence.
“ Good I actually am enjoying life” Harry replied.
“ That’s great. Well Harry it was nice seeing you again but…”
“ Don’t go… please,” Harry begged.
“ I have too. I have to… I guess I could stay a little longer”.
“ Great! Sit down”.
Hermione sat down and said, “ So when are you going to teach me the
moves we have to learn?”
“ Whenever you like. Or I could not teach you at all and let you embarrass
yourself” Harry laughed.
“ Harry! That is so not even funny” Hermione laughed. “ Teach me now”.
“ All right then…”
Harry got up and held out his hand. Hermione took it and felt a tickling feeling
go up her arm. She felt like she belong there, right in his arms.
“ Well first of all you need to stand right there… no wait… or is it over there?”
Harry said.
“ Potter you don’t even know what you are doing!” Hermione giggled.
“ Yes I do!” Harry said and pulled Hermione in.
Hermione however was not ready and tripped and fell right on Harry causing
him to fall over.
“ Oh sorry” Hermione moaned.
“ It’s okay” Harry replied.
Hermione looked at Harry and laughed.
“ Remember in our third year when I fell on you when we got into the
whomping willow?”
“ Yeah. And you were much lighter”.
Hermione hit Harry. Harry looked at Hermione and kissed her. Hermione didn’t
pull away.
“ What are you doing you idiot?!” Hermione thought. She pulled away. “ I
have to go”.
Hermione got up and without looking back at Harry she left.
Not one of my best chapters but I still hope you all enjoy!

^^ It's okay!! LOL! It's just that I hardly ever get compliments on my writing! But if my loyal readers say my writing is good then I guess it is!
And I should say this to you: If you are a slow reader then I must be even slower! It would have taken me at least 3 days to read Hidden Love of in fact any other story! So hun, you are a fast reader!
