An explanation to soothe your consternation ...
That is NOT a gaping plot hole I swear. This fic wasn't completely planned, but I seldom if ever leave dangling participles ... or story points. What happened when I originally wrote this was that I got upset with some of my readers and I lost control of this fic, and I wanted to kill Ottery and never write fanfiction again ... which is why the end is so rushed. My endings are never rushed, they're carefully plotted, but not so here. It was a weird time, and a weird fic to write and ... if you read carefully you'd be asking where are the Martians? I meant to write this inspired by H.G. Wells ... but ... I still haven't had a chance to read the novel, and I never got a chance to write Harry Potter versus the martians which is what this was supposed to be. Sadly I can't do it now either ... because I've got another fanfiction to work on so ... *shrugs* But I thought I'd post it back anyways ... it's not properly ended but I don't think I'd write a sequel I'd sooner write one for Love's and that's not going to happen either. Too many people like it as it is. So ... *shrugs* Love's Funny. *smoochies you all* |
