Hai I'm PerryThePlatypus Dani and this is a random FF about my RP Character Legend Chosen.
I previously had a journal for him when he was younger. I also had an FF that I deleted because
I realized that Legend's life is more like...a bunch of random little events then a whole big story.
So this FF will just include important moments in Legend's life. They won't be very long.
But hopefully they will be very meaningful.

Scared
|Summer of 2069|

He wasn’t scared. No. Of course not. He was Legend.

Okay so maybe that wasn’t his real name. But seriously if you were named Lysander would you go by that? No. Of course not. Only a crazy person would.

Anyways he wasn’t scared.

That would be an understatement. He was petrified, terrified.

He could feel the board turning under his feet, the dust was picking up all around him. There was no way Malachi could catch him now, he was too far back to even try. This race was already won. So why was Legend terrified? Simple. The dirt road had suddenly become narrower in a couple of seconds. The dust that surrounded him stung his eyes and began blocking his view. He couldn’t even stop because the angle of the road was pushing him down with so much force it was impossible to turn his board.

They could have chosen any normal road. But no. They had decided to choose the most dangerous one, the one that had to be right by the edge of the mountain.

The board began to rumble, larger and larger rocks were appearing. That was not good for the wheels. As soon as the thought had left his head Legend’s legs began to buckle. He couldn’t control the board anymore he had lost it. It was over.

And then it happened. The bolt from the left wheel flew off causing the board to turn a hard right off the edge of the mountain.

He didn’t know how but somehow his arm had reached up and grabbed the edge of the cliff just in time. It was insane, and he was lucky. There was no way he wouldn’t admit that.

Pulling himself back onto the road, he took a deep breath. Kicking the binding off of his feet he and laid down on the dirt.

It wasn’t long until footsteps could be heard. The familiar face of the Hawaiian emerged from the dust. “Bra! You good? I stopped back there man, when I fell. Skateboards aren’t made for this terrain.”

Legend grinned and sat up. “Excuses, excuses now where’s my five bucks I won and I didn’t die.”

Malachi rolled his eyes and dropped the crumpled up money into Legend open hand.

He had lost his board’s wheel, nearly wet his pants, and almost died.

But at least he was five bucks richer.

|Summer of 2070|

It was quite. Actually it was really quite. Legend hated the silence but he couldn’t think of what else to say. The golden sun setting was beautiful, it was illuminating everything in his back yard but his mind was somewhere else.

“Penny for your thoughts?” Leah said in her quite voice, surprisingly though the sentence had cut him out of his trance. Leah had come to pay him and Katie a visit for the day. But unfortunately it was the same day that Katie had chosen to go see her older brother Nik. So she was stuck with him doing, less than exciting things. He couldn’t be mean to Leah. He just couldn’t! She wasn’t like Katie....she was ....Leah.

“Why do people always say that? So what my thoughts are worth a penny? Um no I am a Prince, I-”
Leah cut him off by putting her hand over his mouth.

“I get it. A hundred galleons for your thoughts?” She said rolling her eyes slightly as she removed her hand.

“That is more like it.” The thirteen year old muttered. His voice went silent though. He really didn’t know what to say. Usually he was never alone with Leah. It was...strange.

“You don’t want to take the deal?”

Legend gazed at her for a second then looked down quickly. He could feel his cheeks warming up. “You remind me of the sun.” He muttered finally.

Leah blinked. “What...a big ball of fire...in the sky? I mean Katie would remind me more the fire ball but-”

“No I mean beautiful.” He whispered looking up. Leah flashed him a small smile and rested her head on his shoulder, and then it went quite again. But that was okay, this kind of quite felt much more peaceful.

|Summer of 2071|

Legend rolled his eyes. Ah poor Jordan. Sure he was his best friend but he was terrible at telling jokes. Seriously. Jordan’s jokes were always awkward or weird, never made sense, or the guy would just mix the whole thing up. He was a cool person. He just sucked at telling jokes. As they walked Jordan flung out his arms and turned to him.

“Knock knock.”

“Jordan come on doon’t.” Legend begged.

“KNOCK KNOCK!” The other boy persisted as he continued to block his way.

“Fine. Who’s there?”

“Orange.”

Legend looked at him confused. That was not how this joke went. “Jor...I think you’re confused.”

“NO it’s Orange, now ask who’s there?”

Legend sighed; Jordan had even gotten that part wrong! “Fine Orange who?”The dark skinned boy looked down and then grinned. “Orange-cha glad that I didn’t let you step in a big pile of dog poo?”

Looking down quickly Legend of course noticed the brown poo hidden in the grass in front of him. Looking back at Jordan he started laughing. “Yeah man. I am.” Sure Jordan couldn’t tell jokes if his life depended on it but he had a good heart.

I Hate Frogs
|Summer of 2070|

This was harder than the thought it was going to be. Wiping the sweaty hair that clung to his forehead Legend really hadn’t thought this was going to be that hard. It the end of August and luckily for him it was the hottest day of the year. And he was jumping around on rocks in this stupid pond. Maybee...

The twelve year old looked around. Well he was HOT and there was water. And this mission so wasn’t going as he planned because he had already been here for like an hour. Taking a deep breath he dived into the murky water.

It was definitely not like a pool, sure he was cooler but the water was so brown that it was obvious it was mostly mud...ew. He couldn’t even see through it and it was beginning to burn his eyes. The Gryffindor was just about to head back up when he saw it-

It was electric blue one moment and then the next. Bursting his head through the water he spun around. “Where is it?!” He asked frantically, and then about a foot away he saw it on a lily pad. Both of its eyes were on him. Legend knew, the thing was going to jump.

Before he was even aware of what was going on he dived for it.

The smooth skin felt calm in his hands, the amphibian didn’t even protest. Treading out of the water the blood shook his now dirty hair. He was covered in mud. “Stupid frogs. Katie better like you. Stupid Katie. I hate frogs.” He muttered as he began to walk back home.

You know, but I just have to say I adooore Jordan. :lmao: So silly, yet his heart IS in the right place. :loved:

Changes
|Summer of 2072|

This summer was going to be different. This summer was going to include changes and things he wasn’t used to.

Legend knew it. Every summer since he was about 5 was spent with his magical friends. And every summer he would have to put up with Katie and some crazy people like Miguel or something.

This summer would be different though.

Gazing around his room, the emerald green eyed boy couldn’t grasp why this was affecting him so much. He was just going to Hawaii with Malachi.

For a month.

Leaving his magical friends and his family behind,

Legend shook his head trying to get the negative thoughts out. Standing up he grabbed his suitcase that was on the floor and opened his door, only to come face to face with identical green eyes.

“You know, I’m not one to tease but, you are taking as long to get ready as a girl.”

“Yeah, yeah, too much time with Katie probably.” Legend muttered rolling his eyes. There was a time when Alexis had been so much taller than him. Now they were about the same height. Wow time really did fly by.

“Are you going to miss her and the others?”

“NO! It’s Katie...the others...maybe. I mean...I’ll miss talking to all of them...what if they change again or I change or something.”

Alexis grinned. “Changing is a part of life. Eat candy it will make everything better.”Candy, was obviously the answer to all the problems in the world. Or at least that was what Alexis thought. “Candy isn’t going to help me. I don’t like changes. I mean Kai is my friend yeah but....changes Lexie.”

Looking at him for a second Lex reached for his face and sweep his hair out of his eyes. “You’ve gone through so many changes already. You’re strong enough to face anything. Remember when Rae came? And Miguel? Remembered when we moved away from England, and you had to learn Italian. Or when you started Hogwarts and had to learn magic. Or taking care of your own pet. Even dealing with your bio-polar disorder? And what about growing like 7 inches in a couple of years? OH and let’s not forgetting that you actually dated a girl.”

Legend’s cheeks started to warm up. “WHOO told you about Leah?”

“I have spies all over don’t you know? Plus candy gives you magical powers dude.”

“Should have known dude.” Legend said grinning. She was right. Lexi really was. This was just another stage of life. And he was being silly.

King’s weren’t silly, so obviously the Prince had to smarten up. “Now come on Kai is waiting.” Following her out the door happily he didn’t even realize that, for once he never took a look back.
