Thank you very much! I am sorry, I will post it now.. One Very Interesting Conversation Teddy was sitting alone in the dark garden, pulling out pieces of grass with his hands. Life wasn't fair. Why weren't his parents there, why couldn't they be there? 'We are here, Teddy'. Teddy turned around sharply, his eyes widening at the sight that greeted his eyes. His parents. His mother, with vivid pink hair tickling her chin, and his tall, pale father, looking young and handsome. 'Wotcher, Teddy..' whispered Tonks, tears filling her eyes. 'Long time, no see, eh?'. Teddy didn't answer, he ran right into their open arms, almost knocking them both to the ground as he sobbed in their embrace. He could feel his mother crying too, and his father's tears falling onto his head. As he calmed down, his parents - his parents! - led him over to the garden bench, Tonks ruffling his hair and Remus gazing into his amber eyes. 'How?' Teddy whispered. 'How are you here?'. 'Love, Teddy Bear,' Remus murmured, stroking his son's turquoise hair fondly. 'We love you so much, that somehow, some way, we could come down and spend this one, special night with you. But in the morning, we'll be gone...so please, make the most of it'. Teddy's mother did not talk, merely gazed at her son with a mixture of awe, love and pure emotion on her face. They all had plenty to catch up on, and their conversation resembled that of long-lost family members...which, in truth, was what they were. 'So, what's your favourite Quidditch team?' asked Tonks, laughing. Teddy looked thoughtful. 'That'll have to be the Tutshill Tornadoes,' he said. Remus chuckled, ruffling turquoise hair once more. 'You traitor! Your mother and I have always been Pride of Portree!' he laughed, as Tonks stuck her tongue out, giggling. 'What about hair colour?' she asked eagerly. 'Come on, you must have a fave!'. She was practically bouncing out of her seat in excitement. 'Turquoise, definitely!' Teddy asked, feeling comfortable and happy. This was peace. |

Thanks! I'm glad you all like it, so I'll update some more. Last Chapter - Settling Down Things would never be perfect, but they were definitely looking up. Teddy couldn't help but stare at Victoire. She looked ravishing, with strawberry blonde curls dancing around her shoulders, the long white dress she wore adorned with golden roses. Bill Weasley was unable to take his eyes off the radiant young woman. As they neared the front of the marquee, Bill kissed his daughter on the forehead, before turning to Teddy. 'Take care of her,' he said with a smile, before going back to sit down. Jaden Callisto nudged Teddy, mouthing "Lucky man!" with a grin. Teddy nodded, gazing deep into Victoire's eyes. A small, round man stood in front of the small table where flowers were set up everywhere. A two year old stumbled clumsily up the aisle, a cushion and two rings in his hands. Remus had obviously inherited his grandmother's clumsiness. And then came the graceful little girl, four year old Dora, pelting flowers at everyone. Teddy glanced at his frail, elderly grandmother, who was cuddling her great grandson, six month old Sirius, named after Teddy's mother's second cousin, Sirius Black. And then, Teddy's gaze shifted to the small picture frame placed on the table...Remus and Tonks' wedding photo. Tonks, with her bubblegum pink, shoulder length hair, and Remus gazing down at the young woman, as though awed that he had found love. They were dancing, laughing, smiling, waving. Just like Teddy and Victoire. '...then I declare you bonded for life,' announced the small man. There was a lot of sniffing and crying in the marquee on that sunny July day....twenty five years exactly since Remus and Tonks were married. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Remus held Tonks close as she sobbed tears of joy into his jacket, stroking her hair fondly. 'Our Teddy,' he whispered. 'All grown up. His life's perfect'. But Teddy didn't agree. People still had to die. There were still fights and wars. But there was also love, and life. Things would never be perfect, but they were definitely looking up. And so ends "In The Name of Teddy Lupin" !!!! I hope you've all enjoyed reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it, and now may be the time to refer you to my other ficcies, available in the Life After Deathly Hallows section! |
