:hello: Hiya. This is a fanfic Dani (Hg_fan) and I came up with, similar to the Hogwarts RPG charrie journals but not. Our current characters (Alexis Chosen & Savannah Mae) have decided to write a book for fun and this is it :lol: Everything written is 'in the book', whatever comes from Savannah is in darkslateblue and Alexis is in royalblue (RP time-wise they start writing it at the beginning of seventh year.)

Today Alexis and I were talking and have decided to write this book. It is about everything and anything, we'll voice our opinions and give the do's and dont's along with advice and tips on the subjects we choose. Just a little bit of extra info, to make our discussion easier, we use quick-quotes quills and re-write it into the book the same way later. ~~If anyone ever finds this after we finish and hide it, happy reading!~~

So! For our first topic, we'll talk about creatures and why not to go about assuming you know their gender if you really don't. Most importantly, Goblins and House-Elves.

Now why do you think that is, Lex?

I don't know! What kinda of question is that? First of all people don't even go CLOSE to Goblins and House elves. They are evil.

You can't get away from goblins in Gringotts! So yes, they do. And, I've heard stories of people going around guessing these things which is exactily why we're discussing this topic.

The main reason why not to do this is because it can easily offend either creatures, the same way it would if someone suggested you were a boy just because you weren't dressed all girly or whatever. They may not be human beings but that doesn't mean they don't have feelings too.

Also, needless to add, goblins aren't very forgiving.

Because they are evil little creatures that steal stuff. So you better listen, to Vannah because if you call them 'Sir' and they're really a girl, it is guaranteed that they WILL attack you....I think

I wouldn't go as far to say that, atleast with the goblins constantly working around witches and wizards. But then again, we're not just talking about goblins ~~and a house-elf doing such a thing would be a laugh.~~ However, bringing Centaurs into this... your very right, though it may take even less than that if you've just trespassed onto their land and I wouldn't necessarily call them 'little.'.

Centaurs are cool though! Except for the fact that they never really make any sense....

But as I was saying Goblins are bad so you don't really want to anger them. And House Elves are worse! Especially that one that go around wacking things with the broom. You do NOT want to anger him...or...her...OR WHATEVER..... THIS IS OUR POINT!!! We'll just call it a it.

His name is Algamus, if I'm not mistaken. Very good example of what our point is! Uhm, another option is to not call 'it' anything at all and leave 'it' alone. The house-elves don't work in the kitchen of Hogwarts for students to come bug them, if your nice and quick about it they might be too.

Another beautiful creature? Since when were they're good looking creatures in Hogwarts? Aree you talking about the squid? Is the squid beautiful?

Uh, well I wouldn't call any creature ugly. That's pretty mean, everyone's pretty and special in their own way.

But actually, I believe the giant squid is harmless. I was refuring to a creature with four legs, two wings, feathers, the head of an eagles... Alexis you should know this!

OH! Okay, your talking about a Hippogriff? How am i suppose to know that!? There are no Hippogriffs in Hogwarts! I swear this lady is insane....

So Hippogriffs are very very very dangerous. Never call them stupid and you must always bow before them like they are royalty. If you do offend them or don't bow then....your most likely certin to end up in the Hospitak Wing.

However I don't know when we are talking about this because as I said before there are no Hippogriffs at Hogwarts.

Ahem! That cheetah wasn't a real live cheetah, it was YOU transformed. We'll get to that topic another day though!

Secondly, yes there is a Hippogriff in Hogwarts! Haven't you ever been to the Magical Creature Hospital out on the grounds Professor Dainsie takes care of?

Anyways that's besides the point and you managed to answer my next question without me asking it. We're not necessarily talking about things only within the castle walls, we don't have goblins there silly.

Uh, no? Im not the animal person about here that is you! Why would I need to go to a Creature Hospital?

Well then...fine, you win. Are we donnnne yet? Or do you wnat to talk about creatures like....Flobberworms?

Alexis. Would a flobberworm have a nasty reaction if you offend them? CAN you offend a flobberworm in the first place?

Yeah you can Savannah! You can be like "Hey you! No lettuce for YOU" And then it will BITE you. So HA.

Since when do worms have teeth?

......Since when do horses have eagle heads? Since when do Elves chase people with brooms? I dont make up the rules here okay?!

Alright, fair enough. In the defense of winged-horses, they're magical. And Elves have personalities and tempers too!

Well Flobberworms are magical worms! I mean have you ever seen a Muggle walking around with a 10 inch worm? Nope. Therefore, they could have magic invisible teeth that people just havn't taken the time to notice.

That's true, but it's not like we see many people walking around with worms period. Magical or non-magical.

I guess that wraps up that. Want to put everything in a summary?

In summary. Don't go shooting your mouths off at ANY type of magical creature. Be careful, be safe and it would be very smart to stay out of the Kitchens of Hogwarts. Do not go calling any creature a He or a She unless they are like..wearing a dress or something and even THEN you have to careful. And.... I got nothing else. Savannah would you want to say something?

The only thing I have to add is not only do it for your own good, but for the sake of the creature. Even if they don't talk or don't have a way to communicate the way we do doesn't mean they don't understand or care. Be respectful to all living things.
