My Poetry-I am going to give writting poetry a go.Tell me what you think.

~This is who I am~

This is who I am
Take it or leave it
I can not change
to fit your needs
I cannot differ
to please you
Sometimes I talk to loud
Sometimes I walk to slow
Sometimes I play my music
Just a little bit too loud
But this is me
Take me as I am
I can not
and will not change
This is who I am
(not great,but I am tryin)

~Stranger~
There is a stranger
An enemy
Someone that I don't know
There face is dark
And masked from me
They act as if they know me
As if I am a friend
They act as if they
know me
form way back when
I wish I knew this stranger
I long to truely know
Who this enemy
This shadowed figure
This stranger truely is

~Like Me~
This is the best time of our lives
They say
Enjoy this time
For it is short
And soon it will be gone
They say we waist our time
Worrying about the things
That are so insignificant
And mean nothing at all
But do they really remember
Do they really feel
All those dreams
and goals
they had when they were once
like us
If only they could see
How truly
different life would be
If they were someone else
If they were just like me

~Love~
You know you are in love
when just a simple word
can make your heart beat rapid
your stomach starts to flutter
Things begin to blur
And nothing truly matters
Yet when the words are said
Are they truly meant
It is one word we often use
And toss around so simply
Yet it is not a simple word
A casual thing to say
It is a word that changes lives
and smiles everyday
You know you are in love
When even the reality
Of everyhting
Doesn't truely matter

Okay, So now that I have spilled my soul to you... :lol: j/k LOL! What do you think? :unsure: :rolleyes: :lol: (P.S. I may add more at a later date)

~Tear~

The tear rolls down your cheek
You say that you are fine
But I know better
The tears give it away
You are sadened
By something
Something Unbeknownst to me
Something that haunts you
And haunts your past
You say that you are fine
But I know better

~Dream~

A dream ocurrs
In everlasting slumber
A wish
A goal
A dream
For you are the only one
Who can see it
And feel it
And know what it truly means
The Dream
Can show your heart
And all it's desires
As long as you hold it close
It shall never fade
And with luck and time
All dreams can come true.

~Where it all went wrong~
Where did we go wrong
Where did it all end
Where did all the friendship stop
And the hatred begin
When did all of the good times
And happiness fade
When did all the good times stop
And arguments begin
You were a friend
In time of need
In time of joy
But then words were said
Lines were crossed
And that
I now see
Is where it all went worng

~Paradise~
Lying on the sandy shore
I feel the heat beat down on me
It is as if the sun was a blanket
And it wraps me in it's warmth
I feel the foam of the ocean
Tickle my bare feet
I feel the soft sand
On the back of of my bare palms
This is where I wish to stay
This is where I belong
This is Paradise

You know deep down inside
It pleases you to know

~Chances~
You laugh when your alone
And sing when know one hears you
You dance when no ones looking
And cry when all is well
But when you are in public
It all becomes so different
Not a word comes out
Not a move is made
You lock up within yourself and don't know what to do
WHat will they say
What will they think
Will I do isomething wrong
And is it worth the risk
And after a while you see
That being who you are is all that matters
So dance in public
Sing when all can hear
Laugh along wiht others
And cry when you feel hurt
Take chances
And be your self

~In your arms~

When you held me in your arms
And said it was ok
I wanted that moment to last a lifetime
When I was in your arms
And you said that you loved me
I wanted that moment to never end
But now you are rgone
And that moment feels as if it is nothing more
Than a passing memory
Or just a picture of anothers
Memorey long gone
If only that moment
When I was in your arms
Would have lasted forever

The hours role by fast
And daylight slips away
Till all the world
Is deep in slumber
You fell so lonely
And deprived of
Companionship

You wish the world would
Soon awake
from this everlasting slumber
But until it does

For the worlds joyous awake


~Follower~
Just a follower
A fan
Who dreams
And hopes
And wishes
For that day
When you will know me
See me
And feel the way I do
But that day will never come
For I am just a follower
Of others rules and dreams
If only it would happen
But it wont
For I am just a follower
In your crowd of many

~Control~

I can't control this feeling
To powerful for healing
I want to runaway
But yet I sit and stay
I can't control
My thoughts
I can't control
My actions
When your around
All my feelings
Thoughts and dreams
Become a mess
I can't control my thoughts
And my feelings that are for you

~Scared~

I am scared of your love
Of what could truly be
When I knew that I was falling
I wanted to get up
I didn't want it to be true
That I was falling for you
I am scared that what I see
Is what could truly be
I must sucomb
I must relieve myself of this Everlasting fear

~Choice~
You made a bad decision
And now you must live with
The feeling
And the knowledge
The time felt right
The reasons all made sence
But now that it has passed
The choice all seems so sily
so stupid
and unsincere
And you must live with the conequences
with the choice you made

I got the idea for this one from one of my favorite tv shows. "Why did you do it Manny???" ok sorry got a bit carried away...*regaining composure* :lol:
