But then he jumped back up, sending three more death spells at Wormtail. They had just missed by a centimetre and Wormtail fell to the ground sobbing.

“The only reason you brought me back to life is because you knew you had nowhere to turn. You couldn’t stand your animal form, although I admit a rat is a good symbol for you. Small, weak, traitorous.” With this, two stunners flew just above Wormtail’s head.

Wormtail jumped back up, know this was his only chance.
“Flagrate!” he shouted, sending a line of flames at Lord Voldemort’s robes. Voldemort had no time to react and was caught by the flames, which caught onto his robes and made them roar a blue flame colour.

Voldemort screamed, knowing that if the flames didn’t kill him, the pain would. He threw his robes to the ground and his face turned into a shade of pale red.

He stood up, eyes wide open, and raised his hand. He began to talk, unlike his usual self, but in a soft weak voice.
“Dear, dear. Oh Peter, what have you done? I was not going to kill you and then you did this to me. If only you have ever shown those talents that you have just performed in front of me, you would be my most loyal servant. Lucius and Bellatrix are only good because they have the combat skills. And you, hiding away, with skills of which I have never seen. If only you didn’t break me, then I would let you survive.”

“Master, I’m sorry, but you were going to kill me. I beg you, please leave me be.” Wormtail said on his knees.

“I cannot change the past, good bye Wormtail.” He said as a green burst of light flew from his wand and hit Peter in the chest. Pettigrew didn’t even try to avoid that, he just looked straight ahead until it hit him. He slowly fell back wards off his knees and hit the floor, eyes wide open.

Lord Voldemort watched him fall and walked towards him. When he reached the body, he looking into Wormtail’s eyes and shed a tear. He then turned to see Harry and Ron, stood on the side, unable to move.

“What’s done must be done.” He said, letting Harry and Ron loose. They almost fell to the floor when the force which was holding them stopped, and just looked at Voldemort. Harry’s leg got stuck between one of the broken benches from the battle and as he tried to pull it out, he noticed something solid hidden in his sock. He knew what had to be done, and hoped the Order and the DA were having more luck in Hogwarts.

“Harry, I assume you have heard the prophecy. Then you will know that for me to survive, I will have to kill you. But I shall not kill you as I would a child. After all, you’re a man in so many ways. I ask you, no. I challenge you, will you duel the most powerful wizard ever?”

Harry’s eyes widened, had Voldemort been humanized? Harry stood up straight and pulled his wand out of his pocket.

“I would never duel with the most powerful wizard ever, Dumbledore. You are not powerful, you’re just evil. Dumbledore was the most powerful wizard ever, and you had to get a child to kill him. You COWARD!”

“Dear Harry, that is not something to say to someone who is going to kill you.” Lord Voldemort said, his voice steady.

“If you kill Harry, you kill me. We’re going to beat you, then beat your Death Eaters.” Ron said, plucking up his courage.

“Lucius was right when he told me about you Weasleys. You are the pathetic ones. Not even worth being called a wizard.” Voldemort said.

Ron’s face turned from a pale white colour to a violent shade of red. He raised his wand and took a breath. “Expelliarmus!”

Voldemort moved his wand to the side and laughed, sending the spell into a bench. “So you plan you kill me, weasel? I doubt you could kill a fly.”

“Ron,” Harry said, trying to calm him down. All Voldemort was trying to do was make Ron do something foolish. Once that happened, Ron would be dealt with and Harry would be on his own. Harry looked at the evil man and knew that there was no time like the present.

“No, he doesn’t plan to kill you alone. But we will destroy you, and you won’t come back. No horcruxes to save you this time.”

Voldemort’s face began turning paler than it was, and his mouth dropped. He had obviously thought that no-one knew about his horcrux-business. He stretched his long fingers and clenched his wand.
“Two teen boys, thinking they can defeat the most powerful wizard ever. Yes, Dumbledore was weak, he earned his respect by feeding people lies.”

“And you kill your friends. You earned your respect by killing people. That isn’t respect, it’s fear. Your followers are plotting against you, and then you’ll be all alone. Just like you were as a child,” Harry spat. He really wanted to break Voldemort down into a little shell, and then kick him repetitively until he fell over.

Harry had obviously hit a nerve, because Voldemort began to turn red.
“Fear is respect, you foolish brat. And Wormtail was not a friend, he was a rat. And I didn’t want to kill him, but he had to show his nose.” Lord Voldemort took a breath and looked at Harry, eyes flaming. “You dare talk about my past? How dare you say such a thing? I was never alone, My mentor, who Dumbledore was said to have killed was with me all along.

My patience with you two brats has reached a limit, so let’s fight. Whilst the day is young.

Hey Ali! Okay, so I've been invisibly reading your fic now for a few weeks, and I've got to tell you that you are so talented! Seriously, you should be very proud because you have a great style of writing.



Personally, I love reading fics by boys because they focus more on the action and the prophecy and all of that rather than the romance and teen stuff. Not that I don't love that as well, but you bring masculinity to the fics that JKR would bring from Harry's point of view. As much as we try, us girls can only bring so much testosterone in! So, this is over 20 pages long, and my hand is still recovering, and as much as I want to quote everything, I can't...so I'll do the latest and AMAZING post!



Seriously, I love how you portray everyone in this fic, but Harry, a man, and Voldemort, human; it's just all so perfect.

May I just say right now how much I am in love with Ronald Weasley right now? I love how you really dig into Ron's character...especially his loyalty.

Brilliant! I love how he thinks he's so clever and brilliant and that he assumes Dumbledore was a senile old man. It just shows how human he is! You're seriously fantastic!

So, something really weird happened last night. After watching Armageddon I had loads of ideas for this, and was writing from midnight till 2.30. And now, I'm sorta upset because I finished writing all the action stuff. All that's left is going to destroy the astroid. So, A post ist here, or will be in a minute.

I have a post, but I'm not sure if I want to let it out yet. I dunno when I'll be writing next coz I've just got a new 24 Novel for my birthday. I'll try to keep up the posts. Anyways, seeing as you're all so great. I give ya, chocolate.


It had all started 16 years ago when a prophecy had been made. It stated that a child born would have the power to vanquish the dark lord. A few weeks later, two children were born. One of them had the power and was doomed since his birth. After a year of being alive, his parents were killed. With nowhere to turn, he was dumped at the house of his mother’s sister. As he grew, he wasn’t treated well, even though every wizarding household knew of his name. When he came of age, he realised the true cause of his parents death, the reason his life had been tampered with. He fought, trying to defeat the evilness which had given him so much pain. He had succeeded a few times, but Lord Voldemort would always get back up. This was the final stand, where only one would live.

Harry stared into the cold eyes of Lord Voldemort as he gripped his wand with both fingers. He pointed it down and felt his scar burn. His fingers became warm, and he knew what he had to do. He let go of the wand with his left hand and raised it to his shoulder. He was ready for this.

“A grown man, compared to how I first saw you. I crying baby. The older you grow, the bigger the fall will be when you lose. Av-...”

“Petrificus Totalus!” Ron shouted sending a body-bind curse at Voldemort. Voldemort moved to the side and the spell hit the corpse of Wormtail. The body flew to the side and a red beam of light narrowly avoided Ron.

“Protego,” Harry said, creating a shield around himself and Ron.

Voldemort sent out three spells, never before seen by Harry. They had a violet beam and bounced off the shield, flying through the veil.
The ground began to shake, the benches began to move. Something was definitely wrong. The light in the room began to go out, until the only source of light was the spotlight situated directly above the damaged veil.

“Reducto!” Voldemort shouted, hoping to break the shield which was surrounding Harry and Ron. At first, he thought he had failed, but realised he was successful when both Harry and Ron flew backwards. The dark lord’s eyes widened as he raised his wand, believing this was it.
“Avada Kedavra!” He roared, sending a green beam of light at Ron.

“Ron!” Harry shouted, noticing what had happened. Thinking quick he looked at the bench on the floor between Ron and the incoming spell and said “Wingardium Leviosa.” The bench rose, and was smashed into pieces, saving Ron’s life.

“Bloody hell, that was close,” Ron said, looking at the remains of the bench on the floor.

“It’s not over Ron, stay focused.” Harry said noticing that Ron had paused. But he did have a good reason; his life was just saved by a bench.

“Acting like you are the leader, all because of a stupid prophecy. I bet you didn’t know that this has something to do with an aunt of yours, Harry.”
Voldemort said, wiping his forehead with his bony arm.

Harry froze, almost petrified at what was said. What could Aunt Petunia have to do with any of this? She was a muggle who had nothing to do with magic. Or was she? She always seemed to know about the goings-on in the wizarding world. She even communicated with the late Hogwarts headmaster, Professor Albus Dumbledore.

Caught off guard, Ron raised his wand, took a deep breath and shouted “Expelliarmus.” As the spell flew through the air, it made a whistling sound and connected at the other end with Voldemort. He flew backwards, crashing into the now closed door. He lay for a moment, appearing unconscious, and then raised his hand up. A low murmur began, and noise could be heard from out of the room. Voldemort began to speak in a strange language, one which unlike parseltongue, had no hisses and focused on sounds like a cough. The light above the room began to flicker and things were getting cold.


Can ye guess who, or what? Again, I repeat.
Nothing is quite how it seems.

Now to go watch the Tuxedo, then Armageddon.

No problem. I've been reading when I can, and I never had time to post. But, I'm all caught up now...and it's very astute of you to make that connection...with the fear thing. Again, you're very good on character development.

Ali, I love you, I do, but if you kill Ron, I'm going to have to cry...then hurt you. Nothing personal.

Thank goodness someone else thinks it's sad! I watch that last part all the time and cry, and everyone always makes fun of me because they claim it was his job. But saying goodbye to his daughter and sacraficing himself and...and...*sobs* Now, you got me in the mood to watch Armageddon!

*grabbing torches and pitchforks, smilling sweetly* What?

Yay! Well, then I will be editing this post then...Does that mean it's over? :unsure: Sad.
