Okay everyone here is the post I promised you all!!!!!
Chapter 26: What’s Going On?
Over all the screaming the captain of the ship could be heard through a
speaker.
“ Everyone stay calm! Everything will be all right!”
Everyone started running all over the place… the ship was hit on the side
with an extreme force that everyone fell to the floor.
Ron turned pale and looked at Harry. “ I have to go and find Jennifer!” he
yelled and left.
Harry stayed where he was. Just then someone bumped into him. It was
Hermione.
“ Harry what’s going on?”
“ I don’t know!”
Harry ran to the side of the ship and looked down. There were about a dozen
ice burgs in the water. Each taking turns to hit the side of the ship. Peter
joined them after awhile.
“ Peter!” Hermione said.
“ Hermione we have to get to the other side of the ship and try to find some
life jackets! The ship was hit and it’s starting to sink!” Peter yelled holding on
to Hermione.
Hermione broke down. Harry just looked at Peter. Peter looked back at Harry
and said, “ Help me with her we have to get a move on! The boats for
evacuation are filling up fast!”
Harry didn’t need telling twice. He helped Hermione up and started heading
for the dock. Once there Peter some how had managed to find life jackets,
but only two. He put one on Hermione and gave the other to Harry.
“ Peter you put it on” Harry protested. Just then the ship gave another lurch
and started to sink faster.
“ It’s okay Harry!” Peter said. Peter left to look for room on the evacuation
boats. When he came back he said, “ The boats are being separated. Half
for women and the other for the men, there’s only one more spot left on the
women’s boat. Hermione come on, Jennifer’s on there”.
“ Peter no!” Hermione yelled.
“ Hermione please!”
“ Remember what you told me last night! That you would never leave me! I’m
not going to leave you!”
“ Hermione!”
Half the ship was in the water and only one evacuation boat was left. Harry
saw that Ron was being forced onto it by a crew member. Peter turned to
Harry.
“ Harry take Hermione on to the last boat”.
“ Peter no you take her”.
“ I wasn’t asking you Harry I’m telling you too!”
“ Well I’m not going to!”
The ship started sinking into the water headfirst. The last evacuation boat
was sent into the water. Peter grabbed Hermione and started to climb up to
the part of the boat that was not underwater, Harry followed. The boat was
sinking fast, they had no choice but to jump into the water.
“ Hermione are you okay?” Peter asked.
“ Yes why?”
“ We have to jump”.
“ WHAT!”
“ On the count of three… one… two… THREE!”
They all landed in the water. It was ice cold. And it was a good thing Peter
said they had to jump because seconds after the ship exploded. Everyone
who was left on the boat fell into the water… dead or alive. But did it
matter? The water was cold enough to kill anybody. Harry looked around and
saw a piece of the ship close by. It was big enough to hold two people. Harry
pointed it out and they swam towards it. Peter lifted Hermione onto it and
then told Harry to get on.
“ No Peter you get on”.
“ Harry I’m fine. Get on”.
Harry was to cold to protest so he got on. Hermione was quiet. After what
seemed like hours Peter asked, “ Do you think help will come?”
“ I hope so,” Hermione said.
Harry however felt awful at the sight of Peter. He was shivering and was ice
cold. Harry had offered countless of times to switch places with Peter but
he refused. Hermione was holding Peter’s hand.
After about another hour Hermione fell asleep. No rescue boats came. Harry
dosed off after awhile as well. Then Hermione woke up.
“ Peter how long are we going to be out here?”
No answer came.
“ Peter?”

It is a Titanic type of thing.
Yea, they do have wands but it was the day of the ball. And with all the commotion going on like with the ship sinking I would have forgotten my own wand because I would have been too scared to use it. Wouldn't you?
Only two more chapters to go... I'll post the next one soon. Maybe today I don't know yet.

Chapter 27: I Will Always Love You
“ Peter?”
“ Yes Hermione?” Peter said stuttering every word.
“ Peter you’re ice cold, get up here”.
“ There’s no room”.
Hermione tried to warm Peter’s hands. After awhile Peter spoke.
“ Hermione I love you”.
Hermione smiled and said, “ So do I Peter”.
“ I was going to ask you to be my wife Hermione but after all this”.
Peter searched his pockets and pulled out a ring. Hermione gasped.
“ Oh Peter!”
“ I want you to keep it and promise me you will never forget me”.
“ Peter what are you talking about?”
No answer came.
“ Peter!” Hermione said through her tears.
“ I will always love you Hermione Jane Granger and remember… remember
that a hidden love is never a bad thing”.
“ Peter how many times do I have to tell you I don’t have a hidden love!”
Minutes passed and Peter didn’t reply and he never would for he died right
there. Holding Hermione’s hand. The water had been to cold that night and
no one would have been able to survive in it. Harry was awoken by
Hermione’s yells of “ Peter!”
“ Hermione what’s wrong?”
“ Harry! Peter he won’t talk to me! He won’t answer me!”
Harry looked at Peter. He was dead.
“ Hermione….”
A whistle was being blown somewhere in the distance. It was a rescue team.
Harry sent up a signal with his wand and the boat came to them and took
the to safety. Hermione cried and told the rescue team to help Peter but
when the rescue team said they couldn’t Hermione yelled at them. She had
to be put into a sleeping charm after that.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Hermione woke up. She called for Peter. Harry who was by her side was sick
of seeing her like this. They were back at Hogwarts and were going to stay
there until they had some place to go.
“Peter!” she cried quietly.
“ There’s nothing you can do,” Harry said.
“ He said he would never leave me!”
“ He’s dead”.
“ No!”
“ I love you and you need someone to take care of you. I know you loved
him but once you get over him I’ll be there”.
“ Be quiet! I will never get over him! I will always love him!”
“ Please! I love you!”
“ Well I don’t! I hate you!”
Hermione ran off. Harry just stayed where he was, he knew she wouldn’t
calm down soon so he left her alone.
There you go! 2nd to last chapter! Enjoy!

Jess Yes Peter died. It is sad because Hermione loved him and he loved Hermione. It is sweet, what Peter did. That's Peter for you! Quote:

Okay all my loyal readers... the last chapter! But before I post it I just want to say that when I first posted this fic I thought no one would read it. But now I realize that I was wrong... I ended up having fantastic and loyal readers! I hope you have all enjoyed this FF of mine and I hope to see you all again when the sequel is posted. Oh yeah and if any of you want me to PM you to notify you that the sequel is up please say so.
Okay then...the final chapter. I know it's short but I had to make it that way because if I didn't the sequel wouldn't make sense.
Chapter 28: Going Home
All the 7th years boarded the Hogwarts Express the next day. They were
going home.
Harry and Ron got a compartment and sat down.
“ Do you think she will ever talk to me?” Harry asked miserably.
“ Sure she will. She’ll realize she misses her friend and come looking for you”
Ron replied.
Just then the compartment door opened and there standing in the doorway
was Hermione. She looked pale and fragile. She looked weak.
“ Hello Hermione” Ron said.
“ Hello Ron” she replied.
Harry stayed quiet. Hermione didn’t even look at him.
“ Ron have a wonderful vacation and I’ll write to you as soon as I move into
my new house.”
“ You got a house?”
“ Yes… don’t you?”
“ Uhh…yea… of course I do”.
Hermione walked away after glancing quickly at Harry. She walked down to
the compartment she was sharing with Luna and Ginny. She was happy to
be going home, to start her new life. But she expected to start her new life
with Peter. Then Harry jumped into her mind.
“ Harry” Hermione sighed. “ Maybe Peter was right. I do love Peter with all my
heart but… maybe I do have a hidden love for you Harry. A hidden love that
is waiting for the right moment to come out. But who knows, only time can
tell”.
And with that Hermione entered the compartment and settled down. Waiting
for the train to come to a stop at King’s Cross Station.
Once again I am sorry it is so short. I know you all were expecting a long post but like I said the sequel wouldn't make sense.
I love you all very much! And thank you for reading my FF and I hope you all will read my new one!

Excellent ending, Emma! Although, I must admit, the whole Titanic thing was a little cheesy...LOL. It was excellent though! I enjoyed it!
