Chapter 9: I Can’t Believe You!

“ Juliet I’m going to go to the library. I need a stupid book for stupid Snape’s

stupid essay” Harry said angrily.

Juliet laughed. “ Okay Harry”.

Harry left. On his way to the library he saw Hermione.

“ Hey Hermione, where you going?’ Harry asked.

“ To the library, you?” Hermione said blushing.

“ Same place. Let’s go together,” Harry said.

“ No Harry lets pretend we hate each other and walk alone” Hermione said

grinning.

“ Ha ha, I forgot you were so funny,” Harry laughed.

Hermione rolled her eyes. And so they went. Once they got there they picked

a table and sat down.

“ I need to look for a book,” Harry said getting up.

“ Me too” Hermione said.

So they both got up and headed for the shelves.

“ Hermione what book should I use for Snape’s essay?” Harry asked.

“ It depends Harry. What’s your main point?” Hermione said.

“ How should I know, you’re the smart one” Harry said smiling.

Hermione looked at him. “ His smile is so beautiful,” she thought.

“ Hermione are you there?” came Harry’s voice.

“ Oh um… maybe you should write about… hmm I don’t know why you are

stupid!” Hermione said, suddenly angry. “ How could you propose to Juliet?

Your still in school!”

Harry looked shocked but then looked angry himself.

“ Why do you care? Hermione I thought you liked me and Juliet being

together, why are you so mad?” Harry snapped.

“ Harry your ruining your life” Hermione said.

“ Hermione… I’m not even going to talk to you about it. I knew you wouldn’t

be happy for me” Harry said.

Hermione looked taken aback. “ How could you think that?”

Harry didn’t answer. He put the book he had in his hands back and left.

“ HARRY!” Hermione yelled.

To late, he was gone. Hermione stood there. But then she decided to follow

him.
“ Harry turn around and talk to me now!” Hermione demanded.

“ What for Hermione. All your going to do is insult Juliet! Why don’t you like

her?” Harry said.

“ Because she’s not who you think Harry” Hermione said.

“ Oh really…. Then who is she?” Harry snapped.

Hermione couldn’t find anything to say to him so instead she… kissed him.

And it was the most wonderful kiss Hermione had ever had.

“ Hermione get off,” Harry said gently.

“ I’m so sorry Harry I….” Hermione began.

“ I can’t believe you” Harry said. Then he left.

Hermione stood there shocked. “ Why did I have to kiss him? WHY?”

“ Oh look at that… Potter and Granger. I never thought I would live to see

that”.

Hermione turned.

“ What do you want Malfoy” Hermione snapped.

“ What can you possible see in Potter that you don’t see in me?” Draco asked.

“ Ummm… maybe the fact that he’s not a ferret like you” Hermione said with

a laugh.

“ Why you little… you know what I’m going to let that slid” Draco said.

“ And whys that?” Hermione asked.

“ I want to be nice,” Draco said. “ And… you and Potter make a wonderful

couple”.
Draco left without another word. Hermione was shocked. Draco was changing

and… he’s the second person that has said Harry and her belong together.

That gave Hermione hope.

Here is the new post! Its Chapter 9 but in Harry's point of view!

Chapter 9: I Can’t Believe You!

This is Harry’s point of view.

“ Juliet I’m going to go to the library” I said to Juliet.

“ Okay… but hurry back” Juliet said smiling.

“ Anything for you hun” I said. I kissed her and left.

“ Stupid Snape! Why do we have to write a damn essay!” I yelled out loud as

I walked to the library.

“ Harry shut up someone will hear you!” came a voice.

I stopped walking and turned around.

“ Hey Hermione!” I said happily.

“ Hello” Hermione replied frustrated. She was messing around with her bag,

which wouldn’t close due to all of her books.

“ Hermione looks so adorable when she is frustrated… Wait… what? Harry

Potter shut up she’s your best friend!”

“ Where are you going?” I asked her, shocked at the fact that I was

checking out my best friend.

“ Library… you?” Hermione said.

“ Same place lets go together”.

“ No Harry lets pretend we hate each other and walk alone” Hermione said

smiling.

“ Ha ha, I forgot you were so funny,” I said laughing a fake laugh.

And so we went. Once we arrived we picked a table in the back and sat

down.
“ I need to look for a book,” I told her.

“ Me too” Hermione replied and jumped up.

Hermione ran into an aisle of books. I laughed.

“ Hermione what book should I use for my essay?” I asked her as I searched

the shelves.

“ Harry how should I know?” Hermione snapped back while trying to get a

book from the very top.

Laughing I said, “ Let me help you”.

“ Finally you offer help,” Hermione said smiling.

“ Her smile is so beautiful,” I thought.

“ Harry I need my book by today” Hermione said impatiently, but she was still

blushing by the way he kept looking at her.

“ Oh right” I said, as I snapped back to reality.

I got her the book.

“ Thank you” Hermione said and took the book.

“ Hermione…” I started. “Wait what am I doing?” I thought and stayed quite.

“ What happened Harry?” Hermione said.

“ You… umm… still didn’t answer me, what book should I use?” I said.

Hermione rolled her eyes. ‘ What’s your main point?”

“ I don’t know you’re the smart one,” I laughed.

“ Okay then… how about we find a book that talks about people like… you!”

Hermione became angry. The fact that Harry proposed to Juliet angered her

so much. “ How could you propose to Juliet!?”

“ Wh…what?” I said. I was caught off guard.

“ You heard me!” Hermione said.

“ Why do you care!” I snapped back. “ I don’t want to yell at you Hermione,

please don’t make me” I thought.

“ Harry you are still in school!” Hermione yelled, if possible, even louder.

“ I have no choice,” I thought. “ Hermione I knew you wouldn’t be happy for

me! You… you know what I’m not even going to talk about it with you!”

Hermione looked like she was going to cry.

“ Hermione I’m sorry,” I thought and pretending to be mad I stormed off.

“ Harry, look at me when I’m talking to you!” Hermione yelled.

“ What for Hermione. All your going to do is insult Juliet! Why don’t you like

her?” I said, regretting every word.

“ Because she’s not who you think Harry” Hermione said.

“ Oh really…. Then who is she?”

Hermione couldn’t find anything to say to him so instead she… kissed him.

And it was the most wonderful kiss Hermione had ever had.

“ Hermione get off,” I said gently.

“ I’m so sorry Harry I….” Hermione began.

“ I can’t believe you” I said and left.

Hermione stood there shocked. “ Why did I have to kiss him? WHY?”

I walked toward the lake a huge smile on my face.

“ Hermione kissed me!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I yelled at the top of my voice. “ She finally

kissed me!”
“ It was wonderful! I love the way she kisses!” I said to myself.

I sat down by the lake thinking.

“ I want to be with Hermione so bad. But how do I get rid of Juliet?”

I sat there for what seemed like hours. At least the holidays started

tomorrow. It would give me more time to think.

“ I’ve got to ask Hermione out by the dance” I thought. “ But HOW! I’m with

Juliet.”
After a while I decided to get up and go back to the castle. I would plan my

break up with Juliet later.

Chapter 10: The Holidays

“ Finally! It’s the holidays!” Ginny said.

“ Yeah” Hermione replied.

“ So… are you ready for the dance?’ Ginny asked.

“ No… I don’t have a dress, shoes, jewelry… Ginny I don’t even have a date”

Hermione stated.

“ I’d go with you but that would look wrong” Ginny laughed.

“ Shut up” Hermione said smiling.

“ Listen I don’t have a dress either. Do you want to go to that little dress

shop in Diagon Alley with me?” Ginny asked.

“ Sure. When?” Hermione asked.

“ Tomorrow” Ginny said.

“ Okay… so who are you going with?” Hermione asked.

Ginny turned red. “ With Draco”.

“ Malfoy!” Hermione yelled.

“ Oh Hermione please! I like him and he likes me” Ginny whined.

“ Okay whatever” Hermione said calming down.

“ Who are you planning to go with?” Ginny said.

“ You remember. So dump Draco” Hermione laughed.

“ Ha Ha! What about… Harry?” Ginny said.

Hermione wasn’t expecting this.

“ Whaat?!” Hermione said.

“ Harry and Hermione sitting in a tree…” Ginny sang.

“ Ginny!”

“ Okay sorry but I know you like him” Ginny said.

“ But he doesn’t like me” Hermione said sadly.

“ He would if we could get rid of Juliet” Ginny said. “ She’s like Fleur! I hate

her!”

Hermione laughed. “ Let’s go to sleep. We’ll have to get up early tomorrow”.

“ All right, night Hermione” Ginny said and climbed into bed.

“ Good night”.

“ Hermione! Wake up!” came a voice.

“ What?” said Hermione sleepily.

“ We have to go to Diagon Alley” Ginny said.

“ Oh right.” Hermione said and got up.

Hermione and Ginny got dressed and went to the common room. And the first

person Hermione saw was Harry. Harry looked up.

“ Hermione we need to talk” he said.

“ This early, sorry but I have to go” Hermione said.

“ But…” Harry began.

“ Bye Harry” Hermione said.

“Why didn’t you talk to him? I could have waited.” Ginny asked as the two

girls got onto the Knight Bus.

“ Because I know he was going to bring up that kiss” Hermione replied.

“ Hermione you are so Hermione” Ginny said.

“ Thanks” Hermione smiled.

Once at Diagon Alley the two girls went to the dress shop.

“ Oh Hermione look at this one!” Ginny said.

It was a beautiful silk gold dress. It had thin straps and reached the knees. It

was shorter in front and in the back it was longer, but not to long. It was

perfect for Ginny.

“ That’s nice Ginny and it would go with your hair” Hermione said.

“ You think?’ Ginny asked and went to try it on.

Hermione looked trough the different dresses.

“ What’s the point on going? I have no date.” Hermione thought.

Then she saw it. She saw the most beautiful dress and she wanted it. It was

a silk dark blue dress. It was strapless and long. And instead of having straps

it’s top part went around your neck. It was amazing. Hermione grabbed it

right away, there was about another six people looking at it after all.


“ Hermione what do you think?” Ginny asked.

“ You look amazing! It fits your frame perfectly.” Hermione smiled.

“ Thanks! Well what are you waiting for? Try on your dress!” Ginny said.

And Hermione did. And when she was done Ginny had already bought her

dress and was changed.

“ Wow!” Ginny gasped.

“ You like it?” Hermione said.

“ I love it!” Ginny answered.

“ So do I” came a voice.

I am so sorry once again! Homework is killing me! Will you forgive me?

i forgive you, i know the pain of homework.

Wow, I really like the way that you potray Hermione character as one to not want to talk whereas in my opinion [this is very objectionable] Hermione is one who does talk about her feelings, though not really to either of the boys unless it is somthing that is really bothering her. I would think that Hermione would talk to Harry about it, even though IT is something that she rather not talk about. Hermione is alwyas the sencible one who I think [again, objectionable] thinks in the long term and not short.

Sorry if this is like long, I'm trying to get better a commenting, I get tired of seeing "pams" or "aww, that was sweet, pams" guilty of the myself, do I'm getting better. but I do have to add this pams!

That dress sounds absolutely wonderful! Speaking of shopping, that's what I have to do tomorrow...I need to get some new clothes to wear to all the job interviews and things I have coming up. And I need shoes...I'm living out of jeans and my sneakers at the moment...not quite interview clothing! LOL
