Dear Diary,
I can't believe the school year is almost over. And Harry and I aren't dating.I feel so...hollow. I don't want to do this plan anymore. I just want to make up with Harry, because I love him. I think I'll tell Pavarti to call it off...

Hermione searched the crowd desperately for Pavarti. She found her with Sylvannas and Pyralis. Good.

"Girls!" Hermione dashed up to them.

"Hey 'Mione, listen, about the plan-"

"I want to call it off. The whole thing. I love Harry."

"What!" Sylvannas exclaimed. "After all he's done to you? After..after-"

"I know Harry wouldn't cheat on me without some explaination. He probably didn't even cheat. It could have been an accident. I'm serious. I don't want you guys to do this."

"Well Hermione, if you really want to...I guess I could tell Joe and CJ not to go with it." Pyralis said, cutting off Sylvannas's remark. Sylvannas sighed.

"Fine! But Hermione, I sure hope you know what you're doing."

Hermione smiled, and left them, Sylvannas still muttering. Hermione went to her next class, which happened to be Herbology. They were with the Hufflepuffs today, and Kit was walking with an arm around Ron's waist. She caught up to the three of them, and Harry and Ron stopped talking immediately. Ron gave Hermione a look, and Hermione brushed it off.

"Harry, I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I should have asked you about Candi, not just assumed you were cheating on me-"

"Hermione, I'm sorry too." Harry blurted. "I should never have let Candi talk me into this. Can we please be my girlfriend again?"

Harry got down on one knee. Hermione flushed. She took his hand and helped him back up, and kissed him. He kissed her back, and Ron and Kit looked on with satisfaction.

"You know hun, we had a good plan for getting you back. You're lucky I'm forgiving." Hermione teased on the way to Herbology. Harry gave Hermione a curious look.

"What kind of plan?"

"Well, Let's just say that it involved a rope, a hammer, and lot's of ice cream. But never mind. I'm just happy to have you back."

Hermione locked arms with her very confused boyfriend, and floated on waves of laughter coming from Ron and Kit. But in the back of her mind, she knew that the year was almost over...and they still had so many things to do!

OK people, I've stretched it for as long as I possibly could, but I'm afraid that my next post...is also my last.

I'm glad they worked things out and Harry came to his senses. It's a shame it's ending so soon though! I've really enjoyed reading this fic. You've done and excellent job on it!

Dear Diary,
This is the last day of school. I still can't believe how much has happened this year. I have no idea what Harry and I are going to do. His missions are going to be so dangerous. I want to help take care of him. But...

Harry and Hermione were sitting by the edge of the Lake for the last time. Harry had his arm around Hermione, and Hermione was creating a beautiful sunset with her wand.

"Nice job hun."

"Thanks Harry. So, why did you bring me here?"

"Well-"

Ron and Kit burst in on them.

"Mind if we join you?" Ron asked, and sat next to Harry, Kit in his lap. "Did you ask her yet?" Ron whispered to Harry. Harry shook his head, and stared pointily at Ron. "Oh. Let's go Kit."

"OK, 'bye Hermione." Kit and Ron left, and Harry and Hermione were once again alone. Harry sighed, and drew Hermione closer to him.

"Well, we're going to be leaving soon." Hermione said, to try and make conversation.

"Mm hm." Harry said, and Hermione shut up at once.

"Harry?"

"Yea 'Mione?"

"What's wrong?" Harry stood up, and Hermione followed suite.

"Hermione..." Harry turned to face her.

"Yes Harry?" Hermione asked, very confused.

"Remember last year, when I broke up with Ginny? Do you know why I did that?"

"Because you were afraid of her getting hurt."

"That's right-" Hermione cut him off.

"Harry, you're not breaking up with me, are you?"

"Well...."

"Because I'm different than Ginny. And I wouldn't accept it. I Love You Harry!" Harry ran to her and hugged her tightly. Hermione hugged him back, just as fiercely.

Just then Harry seemed to fall. He landed hard on one knee. Hermione bent down to help him, but he pushed her hand away, then held it.

"Hermione, do you realize how hard things are going to get?"

"Yes I do." Hermione said firmly.

"Do you realize that I would be away most of the time?"

"Yes, but no. For I would be right along beside you, Ron and I."

"Forever?"

"Forever. Harry, what are you playing at?"

"Hermione....will you...marry me?"

Hermione gaped at Harry, then her eyes brimmed with tears as he produced a small black ring case. She opened it.

Inside was a diamond ring.

"Oh Harry...it's beautiful!"

"Please wear it, and say yes?"

Hermione slipped it over her ring finger. It was big at first, but then, the ring shrunk in order to fit on her finger.

"Yes Harry" Hermione said happily, and she helped her future husband up, and embraced him. She heard applause and turned around.

Ron and Kit were standing by the edge of the Lake, applauding. There were tears in Kit's eyes, and Hermione saw a small silver ring on Kit's ring finger.
