The cutest chapter so far is below! I hope you enjoy it; please post what you think about it.

I nodded and slipped my jacket on. The sun was still shining when we stepped out, but its brightness was somewhat lessened. Oliver draped his arm around my shoulders. We headed past the shops to an isolated and serene area. The trees were laden with frost and icicles.

We brushed off some boulders to sit down. Everything was so quiet; so tranquil. A frozen lake was displayed before us. My tears had stopped flowing, to my relief.

“It’s beautiful here,” I mumbled contentedly.

Oliver nodded. “I like sitting here sometimes and just relaxing by myself. The other guys don’t like doing this kind of thing. They think it’s, you know, not manly.” He snorted and rolled his eyes.

“I think it’s good if a guy takes time to do the more peaceful things, and not always the macho things,” I contemplated. Gazing at him, I added, rather shyly, “I like it how you understand the importance of stillness.”

Silence fell over us. I inhaled the crisp air. Some winter birds fluttered behind. The faint noise of Hogwarts students exploring the shops was barely heard.

I closed my eyes, feeling the coldness of the season enfold me. Then I felt a wet drop on my nose. My eyes flew open, but I soon realized that it was just a small snowflake. “It’s snowing,” I remarked, looking over at Oliver.

He had his tongue out and was catching snowflakes. Once he saw me watching him, he cried, “It’s fun! Try it!” A boyish look was displayed in his eyes.

Cocking my eyebrow, I laughed but stuck my tongue out too. On my tongue the iciness of snowflakes melted. They were exceptionally large and fluffy. “We’re such idiots,” I announced teasingly, letting out a giggle.

“We sure are,” Oliver agreed with a smirk. Then he scooped up a handful of snow and threw it at me.

“Hey!” I objected, then quickly rolled a ball of snow and flung it at his chest. In answer, I received a splatter of snow on my stomach.

I hurled a snowball; it hit my target: Oliver’s head. He roared lightheartedly and charged at me. We tumbled into the snow, laughing. He took some snow and rubbed it in my hair gently. “Take that!”

I just chuckled, but then didn’t make a noise. A very uncomfortable silence followed, since Oliver’s body was nearly on top of mine in the snowdrift. “Oops…sorry,” Oliver said, rolling off of me.

Smiling, I sat up in the snow. The snowflakes were still falling lightly, dotting Oliver’s hair with white. He inched towards me so that our bodies were right next to each other.

He wiped some snow from my cheek, still grinning. I just stared at him, definitely not wanting to look away. Before I knew it, his face was growing closer and closer to mine. I closed my eyes and felt his lips pressing against my mouth. The sweetest sensation filled my whole body, all the way down to my toes. Oliver drew his arms around me, pulling me closer. Soon his tongue beckoned me to open my mouth slightly. I sank back into the snow bank with his arms wrapped around my body. His tongue met with mine slowly, and I felt as if I’d tasted heaven.

When our lips parted, I re-opened my eyes to find Oliver gazing right back at me with the same goofy grin on his face. “We should head back soon.”

He helped me up from the snow. After grabbing our candy bags (can’t forget them!) we started down the snow-white trail to Hogsmeade. Oliver took my hand and the same warmness filled my body. As we leisurely made our way back to Hogwarts, my mouth tingled pleasurably and the taste of the heart lollipop lingered on my tongue.

YAY!!! Uni posted Uni posted *dances*. *SQUEE* Oh that was so adorable. Finally they kiss. I've been waiting for this moment. I cant wait till then for the next post I'm positive it will be absoluetly awesome.

When u say the cutest post ever. U totally mean it!! That was definitely the cutest!! It was awesome. And they finally kissed!! At last!! The snowball fight was brilliant as well. Oliver just gets sweeter with every post. I so wish that was me!! PAMS!!

Anyways...here's the next chapter!

Christmas was approaching in a few days. I decided to say back at Hogwarts for the holidays; I figured that Christmas at home wouldn’t be too jolly since everyone was silent most of the time.

The Great Hall was brilliantly lit with decorations like wreaths, streamers, and Christmas trees weighed down with ornaments. Bows of holly were strung all around the perimeter of the hall, and even bunches of mistletoe hung over several doorways. The scent of Christmas trees flooded into every room in Hogwarts.

When I entered the Gryffindor common room, the Quidditch team was immersed in a deep discussion. I tried to whisk past unnoticed, but Oliver called, “Hey, Grace! Come join us!” Some people rolled their eyes and glared at me. Shifting uneasily under their gaze, I tried to smile and hesitantly sat beside Oliver on the worn sofa.

He wrapped his arm around my waist, grinning at everyone widely. When only glares and glowers stared at him, his smile faltered. “What? What’s wrong with you guys?”

Rolling her eyes, Katie Bell replied, “Since when has people not on our team been able to join our meetings?”

His brow furrowing, Oliver stared at her for a moment. “What’s the big problem with that? I mean, it’s just Grace. She used to be on our team anyway.”

“She never was on our team,” Alicia countered slowly. “It was against the rules, and if I may point out, you two cost us fifty points.”

“Calm down,” George warned her, sitting up a bit straighter.

“Thanks, George,” Oliver said gratefully with a little grin. “And everyone, why is this such a big deal to you?”

Sighing in exasperation, Alicia retorted, “A big deal? Of course it’s a big deal to us if our captain, who says he’s intent on winning the cup, is getting too distracted with a certain girl who is a complete bimbo.” Her eyes narrowed at me.

The hairs on my neck bristled. Oliver’s arm on my waist tightened. “What?” He nearly snarled. “That was uncalled for, Alicia! I’m not distracted and Grace is not a…a…you know.”

“Actually, you have been quite distracted.” Now Harry was speaking. “When was the last time we had a practice, Oliver?”

I could feel the tension rise in the room, and I didn’t like it one bit, especially when I was the cause of the argument. Oliver’s face was now turning red with anger. “Oliver, it’s okay,” I assured, not wanting him to get mad on my account. He clearly ignored my statement.

“Harry’s right. At this rate, our team’s going to end up in last place!” Katie burst out. An edgy silence blanketed the group.

How mean of them grrr. At least George kinda said something but still...
Grr to Alicia for calling her a bimbo. That was a great post!!!
