Here's the next chapter:

The laughter broke out of me. I didn’t really know why; something inside me wanted to burst forth. The trophy tumbled out of my hands and onto a shelf. “I…don’t…know,” I managed between gales of laughter. No matter how hard I tried to stop, I couldn’t.

“Yeah, sure,” Oliver joked, a wide grin spreading across his face. “So you just decided to start laughing out of the blue.” He snorted.

Still giggling, I nodded.

“Do you think you’ll be stopping anytime soon?” He inquired with enjoyment.

“No,” I laughed. “This isn’t even the hardest I’ve laughed. You should see me when I’m hyper.”

“Oh…” Oliver raised an eyebrow at me, then smirked mischievously. “Then do I have to help you along to laugh? Are you ticklish?” He poked me in the side.

“Hey!” I protested, still chortling. I backed up, hoping to be out of his reach.

Beaming all the more, Oliver lunged at me and started tickling my sides. This only evoked more laughter. Soon, he too was chuckling, then laughing heartily. I tried to push his hands away, occasionally taking a stab at his hard chest. Bits of pleasure tingled in my skin where he touched.

“What about your neck? Are you ticklish there?” He asked with amusement in his eyes. His fingers reached my neckline. Instantly, I squirmed and exhaled more fits of giggles.
My cheeks burned with bliss. I tickled his chest, but he was relentless. His fingertips continued to run on my neck and down my side.

Obviously our laughter had floated down the hallway, because before we knew it, Filch had trudged through the door. Our chuckles immediately subsided.

Filch glimpsed at us oddly and mumbled, “Back to work now.” I thought I noticed a small smile on his face as he turned away.

Shrugging, Oliver gave me one last nudge in the waist and resumed washing a silver colored plaque.

My next update may be later than usual, or maybe not; it's uncertain, because I've just started a new story.

Next chapter for all my wonderful readers!

“Leanne, what’s happening?” I inquired one day, trying not to sound like a police officer interrogating a criminal. We were sitting on our beds in our dorm. I was aimlessly folding some clothes.

“Nothing,” she retorted, a scowl etched on her face.

“Yeah…” I muttered grimly. “What about your new Slytherin friends?”

Leanne paused for a moment. Her face gradually turned red. “Why does it matter to you?” She snapped in a manner quite unlike herself. “It’s not like you’ve been much of a friend lately.” I could see angry tears threaten to spill over her eyes.

I was taken aback. “What?”

Glaring at me, Leanne snarled, “Do you want me to repeat myself? I’ve told you. You’ve been a rotten friend ever since that first Quidditch practice. You’ve ignored me and treated me like I’m not there. I keep trying to connect with you and tell you about my life, but you always claim that you’re too busy.” The tears spilled out of her eyes. “It seems like you’re pulling away from me and closer to that…Oliver guy who’s never going to see you for who you are.”

Sitting upright in my bed, the hairs on the back of my neck prickled. “Oliver does see me for who I am,” I replied slowly. My voice grew in tension. “The Slytherin friends you have don’t seem like they see you for who you are!”

Leanne just stared at me, jaw clenched. “My Slytherin friends are much better friends than you are!” She cried. “They give me attention and listen to me. Don’t you dare diss them!” More tears poured out, dripping onto the scarlet bed sheets.

My body froze. No more words came into my mind. I was just so confused with life.

“You know what? I don’t care if I ever talk to you again,” Leanne growled in a menacing tone.

I was overcome by emotion. My eyes clouded and tears cascaded down my face. “You don’t mean that,” I choked. “We’re best friends, Leanne.” I walked over to her bed and tried to wrap my arms around her.

She instantly shoved me away. “Get away from me, you Mudblood!” She screeched. More tears poured down. Her face twisted into a horrible grimace.

That insult struck me like a bolt of lightning. “What did you just call me?” I bellowed. My fists clenched at my sides.

Leanne looked straight at me. “I called you a Mudblood. A filthy … undeserving … Mudblood. Draco was right about you.” Her tears seemed to freeze on her flushed cheeks. Those eyes of hers that I’d once loved were a dark, ominous green.

All I remember from that night was how I cried myself to sleep.

Its so not Graces folt. Leannes been the one who's been ignoring her and not standing up for her.
