Thanks for all the comments, everyone. I figured it's about time for the new chapter, so here it is! I was lying on the covers of my bed when Leanne quietly strolled in. As expected, she pretended like I wasn’t there. An absent look had taken the life out of her once passionate eyes. “How’s life?” I asked casually, but rather stiffly. Inside, I begged her to answer. Leanne didn’t turn around. “Good.” Her voice sounded deflated. My heart was pounding, hoping that this conversation would lead to something good. “That’s good. Are you going home for Christmas this year?” She shook her head. “I’m staying here with Blaise.” Her eyes widened and I knew that she didn’t want me to know anything about that subject. The former Leanne always had words flying out of her mouth too quickly. Smiling faintly, I chuckled. “Blaise, huh?” I grimaced a little, my mind replaying to that rainy day when they were kissing and fondling. An icy glare was all I received. “Shut up.” Leanne turned a slight shade of pink, but kept her voice under control. “It’s nothing.” I cocked my eyebrow dramatically, which always used to make her laugh, no matter what the situation. This time on the other hand, not a peep was heard. A flicker of a smile may have appeared on her face. “I think you and Blaise would be a cute couple,” I offered, trusting that I wouldn’t come across as teasing. Under my pillow, I crossed my fingers. “Quit it,” Leanne hissed and fled from the room after shooting a glower at me. Sitting immobile on the scarlet blankets, I fought back tears. How could the Slytherins have turned my beautiful friend into a horrid monster? It was then that I wondered if I’d ever see the old Leanne again. Sorry that it's short, but the next post will be cute! <3 |

no no no my dear, this is how this goes. I post, you reply and you post a new post... lol! I'm jking, I'm like never on anymore, but this week and the next is slow because of WASL (Washington Assessment of Student Learning) testing is being done... ug! Anyways, the teachers don't want to be too pushy, so we rarely have homework, except most likely Physics because thats a Junior/Senior class... grrr! Should have went with Chemistry!
