Chapter 30
Everything Gone Wrong

Lavender ran past Draco and Hermione and up to Ron’s bed. She started talking and cooing to his unconscious form. Hermione bit her lip to hold back laughter. Obsessive... what do you expect? Lavender ends it because of jealousy and claiming Ron to be cheating... and now wants him back... typical.
The sound of the bell echoed through down the hall and into the hospital wing. Hermione looked at her watched and realized why it had rung, even if it was technically Christmas Break.
“Would you...”
“I’m so sorry, but I have to go,” Hermione cut off Draco. “See you tomorrow, and thanks.” She left him standing in the hospital wing, confused. He wasn’t sure if he was turned down or just abandoned.
Running down the hall, Hermione started running up stairs as quiet as she could; it was already time to be in the common room, and she didn’t want to get stuck in detention, especially during the Yule Ball.
But heck, everyone hates me now, what does it matter? Hermione thought to herself, shrugging.
But what about Draco? her conscience pointed out.
What about him? Hermione asked herself.
He cares about you.
And I care about him but...
He was going to ask you something, maybe he was going to ask you to the Ball.
He’s probably already going with someone else Hermione scoffed.
You know he’s faithful. He’s been deprived of love his whole life; why would he throw it away?
“Hippogriff,” Hermione said to the Fat Lady. She silently opened the door and Hermione walked through the portrait hole. Sitting down on the couch, she started battling with herself again.
He might not even love me in that way.
Do you read?
Hermione was surprised; that’s nearly all she does. What a pointless question!
Duh.
Then read that poem he wrote just for you.
Hermione dug her hand into her pocket and found a folded piece of parchment. Opening it, she found it was the same poem she had gotten stuck in her hair at the library a couple weeks ago.

Every day

Hermione read it over twice. She shivered when she saw the word ‘him’ (since it referred to Ron).
There’s love in friendship...
Friends don’t kiss.

He loves you, he made that clear. Don’t push him away so fast, he might be deprived of many things of value in life, but it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t at least give him a chance. He deserves it.
I said fine, already! Hermione snapped.
“Who’re you talking to?”
Hermione looked towards the stairs and her eyes widened; Ron.
“Who said I was talking to anyone?” she responded mysteriously as she got up from the couch slowly.
“I heard voices,” he responded pointedly.
“Maybe your hearing is acting up. Surely it isn’t the first time,” she retorted as she backed up towards the stairs leading to the girls’ dormitories.
“Honestly, Mione...”
“Don’t you dare call me that again,” she cut him off in a venomous tone. “You lost that right some time ago.” She ran up the stairs, summoning her book that lay on the side table at the same time.
“Hermione!” he called after her. She ignored him and went into her room. She found her bed stripped of everything; sheets, quilt, her clothes and trunk.
“Wha...?” she muttered.
“Don’t you want to be with your precious Malfoy?” someone said. The rest of the girls in the room laughed. Tears welled up in Hermione’s eyes; she couldn’t take it anymore, she’d been holding it in for a long while.
Running out of the room, she gathered her things and headed to Ginny’s dormitory, wiping her tears on her quilts. With some trouble, she managed to knock on Ginny’s door.
“Yeah?”
“Can I...”
The door opened, and Ginny stood on the other side.
“Are you ok...?”
“Can I stay in here tonight?” Hermione managed to get out, voice cracking slightly. Ginny opened the door wider, allowing Hermione to get inside.

I'm stuck in this one part in chapter 31 and I just said to myself 'I got myself stuck in a wall'. Then I was like '....... wait a minute..." then I was like, 'you can't get yourself stuck in a wall!'
But I know what's gonna happen and everything, I just can't... write it down. (more so a blank spot between where I am and how I'm gonna end the chapter).

so it'll still be some time b4 I can get chapter 31 up... (I wanna get somewhere into chapter 32, since my idea to end 31 will work into 32 and ya...), so just saying it'll be a bit b4 I can post!

But seriously, is it possible to get 'stuck in a wall'?

I'm stuck in a wall somewhere in ALL my F.Fs.... pathetic.

Ok, for any1 that cares I updated Dreams (4 days ago, finally finished the chapter completely today ), and No Matter What.
No one seems to notice, so I'm just putting that up.
Actually... whenever I update either of those two I'll put a note up saying they're updated. I posted like, 5 times in Dreams over the past 4 days and NO comments... so ya. Chapter 9 is up there, and... I updted No Matter What, another two POVs up basically.

Once I'm finished chapter 31 I'll post it. Still stuck in the wall (I'm gonna say that from now on!), at this one part. I KNOW how it's gonna end, it's how I want it to end but getting there is just the flipping problem!

Wow...I haven't been on in a while!!! Great posts!!! Poor Hermione!!! and I still can't believe that Ron would hurt Hermione!!! It makes me sad inside anyways...PAMS!!!!!

I know, it's so horrible he'd stoop so low to 'practically physically mauling' Hermione!


And I actually have an idea for another F.F... but it's a H.G! First time I ever truly thought of a canon f.f ever before But I'm not doing anything with any new F.F til I at least finish one of my others... maybe No Matter What, but at the rate I'm going at cause its so unpopular it'll finish last (and that's the one I actually enjoy the most. It's Draco for goodness sake! Much more fun to work with than Harry personally...).. and maybe Cause You're Watching Over Me, I know how I'm ending it already, but seriously... getting there is so freaking hard, I'm gona probably have to go with my fall-back... but that'll be the first to finish most likely.
I even have my plan for Dreams, its just getting to my idea is the hard part...
I hate all these blank spots!!!!!


But ya, I'll try and update soon but I'm stuck between two points with chapter 31! (see, this is why I like getting ahead It gives me time to work things out without pressuring myself... I've got the plan for how to end the f.f... and I know right now I'm gonna have to make a sequel with that ending but it probably wouldn't come around for awhile cause of too many active F.Fs up at once... and my blank-spot problem... but I know the story to the sequel already If I do the ending I have planned for Fallen of course...)

ok, I'm offically not gonna use the ending to this chapter I planned, but whatever, I've got my ideas...
So technically I'm able to post Chapter 31 now (just gotta remove what was the start of my original idea)...
BUT I'm not posting til I see a few more comments... cause all I ever see is like, 'PAMS!' and some stuff and that's like... it... (well it's been like that for awhile), so ya...
I guess whenever I decide to post after some commienties (don't ask where that came from... 0_o), I'll... post. So random posting after ppl post

Despite how good I feel today (freakishly hectic day, and my grandma kinda made it worse cause as normal she was all spinny cause of so many errands but I finally got a haircut after like, an eternity... and some other funish stuffs).

I've decided to split chapter 31 in half. I had a plan that could've ended chapter 31, but it would've been to complicated for me to piece together and that alone woulda taken forever...
So I decided to incorperate it in the SECOND HALF! (which I'm still in the process of writing).
And I only split it in half cause it wouldn't be much of a chapter ending...
I'm using separate chapter titles cause the 2nd half is NOT in the morning... like my title states... the title would've worked much better if I could've used what I plan to use in the 2nd half... (it's a surprise! I swear not to say anything about it until it actually happens).

Anyways, I'll post soon... I just feel like waiting it out
I won't cough on the chapter either I've been sick the whole two weeks of Christmas pretty much (went from mind cough to some odd cold...), so ya... I just... don't... feel like... posting here for some reason...
I just wanna get ahead of myself really... that's more it than anything else (like, I feel like updating... Cause You're Watching Over Me because I'm much farther ahead there and here I'm only on part 2 of chapter 31, which is the upcoming chapter! I dunno...)

It depends... I need an idea... its kinda funny tho, once its nearly over I really get into it (it was just CYWOM). I might... but I really don't know (wow, it's been forever since I've said that instead of 'dunno'!)... I'd need an idea to work with. I had more of a base from Choices... (Dezi with no Draco or Hermione), and off that I got the whole (random!) idea of Sirius being in it cause it'd be more interesting than almost all characters I made up.

Ok, I got... unstuck... Kinda... I'm almost done the 2nd half of chapter 31 (ya, I'm posting the first half right now ). The title semi-speaks for itself.
When I post the 2nd half and you read the end... that was SUPPOSED to happen in the first half of chapter 31 but I couldn't make it work. The title would've suited better if it worked out that way, but I couldn't get it to work...
There were two comments I just couldn't resist They're in the brackets mainly... (some others are... well elsewhere. They're Pansy comments, you'll see )

Chapter 31
An Eventful Morning

Draco woke up on the couch of the Slytherin common room. He sat up and stretched. Still in his robes from yesterday, he realized he had to change, they were too wrinkled. He tip-toed up the stairs to his dormitory and snuck into his room. He quickly changed without anyone’s notice and left. He slipped down the stairs, through the common room and out of the dungeon unnoticed by anyone.

Walking down the corridors, he entered the Great Hall and saw only a few people inside, no more than ten people at least. All he cared about was the fact there was food on the tables. He sat down and took at least two platefuls of breakfast. Eating quickly, yet making sure he wasn’t being a pig, he got through two and a half plates of food before people started pouring into the Great Hall, all Gryffindors and Ravenclaws, not a Hufflepuff or Slytherin in Draco’s sight.

“You!”

Looking up, Draco saw Pansy storming up to the table. He shivered and shot out of his seat. She came around the edge of the Slytherin table.
“You and that mudblood!” she screamed at him. Draco quickly backed up. “You little traitor! You’re supposed to be with me!”

Draco got to the far end of the table and stopped; his mind racing on what to do next.

“Who’d want to be with a cow?” he yelled back.

Her expression flared and she started running (looked a bit more like lumbering from Draco’s perspective) towards the far end. Draco turned and ran up the Slytherin table and towards the doors of the hall. Pansy slid under the table (How she could fit under there... Draco pondered), and managed to get a few feet behind him, and gaining.

“Mark my words, you will pay!” she yelled. She didn’t stop running.

“When I get a hold of you...”

“You’re more like a cow than I thought.”

Draco skidded to a stop. He turned around to face Pansy, but kept walking backwards. As he backed away, he saw Hermione.

“You’re more of a pain in the butt than I took you for,” Pansy retorted as she also skidded to a stop. A look of sheer contemptuous anger was set upon her corpulent face.

“Leave Draco alone,” Hermione said in a deathly tone.

“You’ve no right to say his name upon your dirty mouth,” she responded in the same deadly tone.

“Well I’d rather be a muggle-born than a cow. You know why?”
Pansy’s expression became venomous.

“Cows get butchered.” Hermione pulled out her wand and flashes of light came from her wand and Pansy was flung back and onto the Gryffindor table. “And I’m not about to go back to the hospital wing.”

Pansy got off the table and felt her face; it looked exactly like a cow; black and white with big, fury and fluffy ears. She screamed, which came out more as a penetrating ‘moo’, and ran away, odd tentacle-like things growing off of her arms, face and back, getting bigger and longer by the moment.

“Now does anyone else have a problem with me?” Hermione yelled at everyone in the hall. Everyone moved a bit farther away from the Great Hall entrance. “Because honestly, it’s idiotic that you avoid someone just because of choices. Get on with it already, because it’s pathetic and a waste of your time as well as mine! Nothing’s going to change because you ignore, glare or say cold things about me!” She turned around and stormed out of the Great Hall.

“Mione!”

Hermione stopped as she recognized the voice to be Draco’s. She was still blazing angry, happy she finally told everyone what she thought a few moments ago. Turning around, she saw Draco running up to her.

“Yes?” she asked in a calm way.

“Would you like to go to the Yule Ball with me?”

Hermione anger was washed away. Smiling, she responded, “Yeah, that’d be great.”


Note: I was considering saying 'cows get milked'... but ya... I didn't... I couldn't think of anything else related to cows so sorry if you're (for some reason...) a cow lover Or a vegetarian... and just don't like hearing about animals getting killed or anything.
But it is true, they do get butchered

hmmm...you're lucky...I used to be a vegetarian and a couple of months ago I might have been offended by that...but now I've come to grips with the fact that animals were put here on earth to be eaten by us...so I am OK with it now...

oh yeah...and just so you don't think that I'm a freak...I only became a vegetarian because I went to a Turkey farm to write a story about thanksgiving turkeys for our school newspaper (I'm a reporter for it)...and I saw how they were killed...it wasn't very pretty...yeah...it was gross...

Wow, Hermione and Pansy in a fight? haha! I did like that cow crack. Well, not really cuz at school I'm the cow, but fat, but since I'm fron India (cearly seen on avavie) And we read about how cows roam the streets of India freely, I'm the holy cow. Yeah, our class is weird. We run from KG to 12th and we only have ONE Sr. I think that classifys for weird. PAMS!

Ya, I remember seeing a documentary about India...
well it was kinda... different really. It was some IMAX presentation about a 'Yogi' (or something like that) that was from a small town and travelled the Himalayas and ya...
In the town were all the cows roaming the streets and with people. I actually thought it was kinda cool I'm no big cow fan or anything but that'd be awesome to have them on the streets instead of in fields
