PAMS=Post A Message Soon (don't ask me what 'pamsoid' means, probably means post faster or sumthin... dunno)

You find out in like, 3 CHAPTERS what happens to Ron and Hermioe truly, it's just vaguely mentioned for a few chapters (you know I'm not a R/Hr shipper I dunno how to write for them so I just put down basics). The next chapter is Draco's POV, just so ya know, so it's vaguely mentioned because of that... I dunno, I just finished writing a chapter kinda moreso based around Ron and Hermione (plus Draco in the end), a fe weeks ago (taking another short hiatus from writing, since I don't see why I should continue thinking of ideas for this when I have tons of time while I have another story, Dreams, that I still need to finish the 8th chapter, which is the next one to go up and it's been like, 2 weeks).
But with my vaguely mentioned stuffs about R/Hr, you still find out/hear about them

I'm kinda busy lately anyways, I wouldn't have had time to post anyways, considering the time I have to waste after school with the stupid play. I just wanna quit now cause I waste like, 1 hour and 50 minutes out of 2 hours. I'm only in one scene and have one line and I run across the stage about twice, and that's it...
So either way I wouldn't have like, any time to post Best time would be probably Tuesday or Wednsday, I dunno, tomorrow is Jazz Band, probably twice in that day and it's already 11:00pm and I shouldn't be up (I learned WHY you don't put a humidifier on your bed... cut to the chase, I'm stuck downstairs - with the computer! - for a few days while I wait for my mattress...), and Tuesday I have another rehersal for the stupid play and an alto sax lesson and a concert for the school...
So probably Wednsday is the EARLIEST, might be later...

Well I figured that you wouldn't make them end up together...that would be too much sacrifice on your part...I'm just glad that you put them in there...I love my R/Hr ships...I am just curious as to what you are gonna do with them...

OH! So THAT'S what it means I never knew... thanx.
I used it all the time but I never knew what it meant... exactly, I just thought it was like, extra exclaimation or sumthin with the 'oid' part, I dunno... thought it was cool

and it's kinda funny, the one F.F I truly work on the most like, only one person seems to like it and read it... and since they haven't been on in forever, I can't post! I've gone so far in that F.F now I could put it off for months and still be fine...

Anyways ya, here's chapter 23. I'm on chapter 28 myself, and I'm kinda stuck, so I'll have to cause waits a bit longer in between each chapter unless you want one big long wait after chapter 27.... and trust me, you don't want that. I get ahead in a story for a reason, and that's my writing the story time itself

Chapter 23
The Last Straw

Draco was forced to stay in the hospital wing for the rest of the week. Each passing day he longed, he hoped that Hermione would show. She never did. He occasionally found himself crying in his sleep, sometimes falling asleep with a wet pillowcase, using it as his personal Kleenex. He was beginning to grow insane of having the cow of a girl Pansy Parkinson constantly at his side unless it was class time or she was forced out. She seemed to ‘forgive him’ for kicking her, but he still didn’t forgive her for slapping him.

“Can I go?” Draco asked on Friday morning before breakfast when the matron handed him a potion, which he choked down.

“Can you move?”

“I can get up and try walking if you let me,” he responded with a bitter edge.
“Move your arm,” she ordered. Draco rolled his eyes and lifted it up and stretched. “Other arm.” He did so. “Both.” He rolled his eyes and fully stretched. “Lift a leg...” Madam Pomfrey went through a whole routine with him until she let Draco try and stand. When he did, he grabbed onto the edge of the table for momentary balance, he hadn’t gotten out of bed in a week, and within a few seconds he was walking normally.

“You may go,” she told him. “Just come back here after classes for a final potion.”

“Do I have to?” he sighed.

“It’s only yourself you’re hurting if you don’t.”

Grumbling, he left the hospital wing. As soon as he opened the door, he was nearly tackled to the ground.

“You’re back, love!”

Draco pushed Pansy off. She had him in a tight hug.

“Let go of me, you cow!” he exclaimed. Her mouth dropped, completely insulted, but she didn’t slap him like Draco expected.

“Matron, something’s wrong with him!” she complained.

“He’s perfectly well, have you considered he just doesn’t like you?” Madam Pomfrey responded. Pansy looked at him with a hard expression, but when she looked at him, Draco walked around her and opened the door once more.

“What’re you doing?” she asked in a sickeningly soft way.

“Opening the door...” Draco opened the door.

“You’re not leaving.”

Draco passed through the door and started walking down the hallway.

“You’re not walking away!”

Draco didn’t even look back. He walked brusquely to the Great Hall, turning corners in the corridors, knowing he’d have to face Pansy eventually.

“How dare you!” her voice screeched. He heard her running steps near, so he picked up into a run.

Soon enough it was a race to the Great Hall, the winner either getting him or him saving himself and his dignity, which was weakening by the second. He saw the adjacent doors of the Great Hall in front of him. As he turned into the hall, a tight grip caught his arm.

“Don’t make me hit you again!” he snapped, turning and facing Pansy’s furious face. As soon as he did, a hard blow his left cheek. With a swift movement, Draco pulled his wand out and had it pushed into Pansy’s fat rolls called a neck.

“Let go,” he said in a menacing way.

“You wouldn’t dare,” Pansy growled. Draco pushed his wand in her throat, and she gagged, letting go of him. He pulled his wand away, but it was still aimed at her.

“Don’t you dare touch me again,” he told her coldly.

“You should go back to the hospital wing, you still seem to be under some sort of bad potion,” she told him, eyes flaming.

“You’re the freak that thinks everyone likes you. You should be the one checking into the hospital wing.”

With another swift, harsh swing Pansy slapped his left cheek once more. With the flick of his wand, Pansy was flung backwards twenty feet, and when she got up she had a cow face starting to break out in boils.

“That’s what everyone thinks you look like, Parkinson. Now leave me alone.” Draco put his wand back in his pocket and calmly entered the Great Hall once more.

He ignored Pansy’s wails as he sat down at the Slytherin table. Blaise was back in the hospital wing, so there wasn’t as much to worry about, but Draco did get glares from the others in his dormitory.

Draco started eating, but stopped when he noticed Hermione coming into the Great Hall. He noticed something was different, he saw Ron, but the one thing that shocked him was that the two were holding hands. His shock lasted shortly, but then he realized it, she had really gone to Weasley.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was amazing!!!!!YOu just made my night!!!!!! I thought you were gonna make their friendship ruined...now I know that you will probably make them break up and that she will somehow probably end up with Draco...but she got her moment with Ron!!!!! Yay for R/Hr!!!!!!!

Maybe it will be ruined Maybe it won't. You never know I've used a fair amount of ideas with them, on and off the poll suggestions

(added at 7:45pm): Aw shweet, I randomly got an awesome idea for an ending to this F.F.
That'll make it a sequel for sure. Actually, you guys will probably force me anyways with the ending I'll give everyone

Aw man, I LOVE THE NEXT CHAPTER! Some1 post soon, I'll make sure to post tomorrow morning if I can get on! (I've been having... well more trouble really... getting up in the mornings for showers so depending on what time I get on I'll see if any1 commented and if so, I'll post, cause I love chapter 24 the most out of them all so far, there's probably gonna be two parts, so I'll post the 1st part tomorrow morning most likely, and after I see a comment the 2nd part cause that practically makes up the chapter... character stuffs really, and the chapter itself overall, but mainly stuff between the main characters).
So hurry up and post! I might post the next chapter (part 1 of course) tonight! I love it that much.

So if you want Part 2 of this chapter (yes, part 2), you'll have to comment within the next hour and 50 minutes unless you want it coming tomorrow or possibly the day after, I dunno.

The beginning of the chapter is like, super-short, I know... but it leads up... kinda.
You all know I’m not good with all fluffy romance stuff... but I tried! (in the end of the chapter mainly, but in the beginning as well when they're in Hogsmeade of course...).
Long chapter, switches POVs halfway through (aka, Part 2 is POV switch)

Chapter 24
Hogsmeade

“Mione?”
“Hm?”
Looking up from her book, she saw Ron (pretending) to do his Transfiguration homework.
“There’s... a... Hogsmeade trip... tomorrow... and erm... I was... wondering...”
“If I wanted to go with you?” Hermione finished, knowing it would take Ron forever to ask.
“Well... erm... do you?”
“Sure,” she responded, smiling. As she went back to her book, she couldn’t help but wonder if this was the Hogsmeade trip Harry would show up on.

The next day, Hermione and Ron set out to Hogsmeade with Ginny. Ginny followed behind them and went into Honeydukes for a bit. She hung around inside with some of her other friends, and Ron and Hermione left, going down the main road hand in hand.
Something poked Hermione’s shoulder. Screaming in utter surprise, she jumped forwards and up quite high. She heard a couple of people laughing. Turning around, she saw Ron going red from laughing, and another boy next to him. He was about his height, had black hair and she recognized his eyes right away.
“Harry!” she squeaked, still feeling her adrenaline rushing. He couldn’t respond, he was still laughing at her reaction with Ron.
“Oh, stop it!” she snapped. Ron seemed to be letting out snorting breaths, but he did try to stop. Harry on the other hand had to bend over and lean on his knees, he was laughing so hard.
“You ok?” Ron asked once he was able to breathe normally. Hermione was still shaking slightly when she walked up to him. He put his arms around her in a comforting hug.
“Ok... I’m fine...” Harry was still chuckling. “And I thought your reaction was hilarious, but you and Ron...?” He started to laugh harder again. Ron let go of Hermione and punched his shoulder.
“I need that shoulder...” Harry mumbled as he stretched his arm.
“And here was me hoping you’d show up this time!” Hermione exclaimed.
“Well I can always go if you don’t want me here...”
“So what’s been going on with you lately? Still haven’t gotten a letter...” Ron cut in.
“You didn’t get my letter?” Harry asked as the three of them started walking, Ron and Hermione back hand in hand. “Hedwig came back with no parchment attached, so I can only assume...”
Hermione sniggered when she saw Harry’s expression changing from thoughtful to horrified.
“There’s some very valuable information in that letter, it’s not funny,” Harry said sharply.
“Sorry...” Hermione responded, slightly taken aback. “But still, maybe Hedwig managed to nip off or something, or Neville or Dean or Seamus got a hold of it and forgot to give it to Ron...”
“I mailed it a month and a bit ago, so it must’ve been Neville...” Harry muttered.
“Harry?”
The three of the looked forwards and saw a dumbfounded Neville.
“Hey, Neville,” Harry said with a smile. “How’ve you been?”
“Uh... I’ve... been fine...” he stuttered.
“Did you happen to get a letter for me, Neville?” Ron asked curiously.
“Uh...” Neville appeared to be in thought. “I think so... ya, I did.”
Harry let out his breath, thankful it was Neville that had found it compared to Malfoy or Crabbe or Goyle (which he still didn’t know the two morons were gone).
“Do you happen to still have it?” Ron asked, knowing what the answer was anyways.
“It’s... somewhere in the room, it never left.”
“Good,” Harry mumbled.
“But what’re you doing here when you didn’t return?” Neville asked Harry.
“Just because I’m not in Hogwarts this year, it doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy a day in Hogsmeade,” Harry pointed out. Neville shrugged.
“Well it is great to see you again!” Neville said cheerfully. “See ya later!” He then walked away.
Harry, Ron and Hermione continued walking down the road, fighting the sudden wind and snow that had just picked up, and headed to The Three Broomsticks. They entered and sat down.
“Good to see you back, Harry,” Madam Rosmerta said as the three of them sat down at a nearby table. “What do you three want?”
“Why not a Butterbeer, for old time’s sake?” Hermione suggested.
“Three Butterbeers!” Harry called to Rosmerta. She nodded and went behind the counter.
“So how come I haven’t heard about this?” Harry asked, looking at Hermione.
“About what?”
“You two.”
Ron, who was sitting next to Hermione, blushed sheepishly. His ears started going red.
“I haven’t sent a letter in the past... week or so,” Hermione responded, shrugging.
“Wonder how much longer this one’ll last...”
“’Ey!” Ron exclaimed, kicking Harry sharply. “I’m not that horrible! Am I...?” He looked at Hermione.
“Of course not!” Hermione told him automatically. Honestly though, she was actually starting to wonder. She felt horrible for being unsure, but when she would see Draco at the Slytherin table, alone and watching her when Ron wasn’t aware, she questioned if she really had something with Ron or not.
He smiled weakly and squeezed Hermione’s hand, then turning back to Harry.
“So how has life gone so far? I mean, not that I know...” Ron asked slowly.
“I’ve spent more time camping then in the Headquarters,” he responded, shrugging.
“So that’s why you seem thinner,” Hermione commented.
“That’s exactly what Ron’s mum said!” Harry said in an exclaiming way, trying not to be too loud. “She’s been overfeeding me whenever I’ve had time to return home.”
Ron chuckled.
“Three Galleons,” Madam Rosmerta said as she put the three Butterbeers on the table. As Hermione started to dig in her pocket, Harry said, “I’ve got it.” He handed off three galleons, and Madam Rosmerta then walked away.
“I didn’t think your job exactly got pay,” Hermione said, grinning.
“I’ve still got my vault in Gringotts,” Harry responded pointedly., shrugging.
“I thought you spent it all on the trolley,” Ron said suddenly.
“If I did in the first place, it would’ve been or your sake more so than mine.”
Hermione chuckled, and Harry grinned. She saw the door to the bar open, and she recognized a person with long, firey-red hair.
“You’ve got a visitor, Harry,” Hermione said, pointing out a completely startled Ginny. She looked like she was getting more angry by the second. He turned around and saw Ginny’s now furious face.

Like I said, you know I'm not great with any form or written fluff, but I tried! (you'll see more in the end of this part/chapter).
Oh, you'll see what happens between Harry and Ginny I had to add this part, I couldn't leave it out! There isn't that much to this part now that I think of it really, but whatever!

“Ginny...”
She spun around and stormed out of the bar. Harry got up and ran after her.
“Ginny!”
“Clearly you don’t want anything to do with me, so I’m just saving your time!” she yelled back, walking quickly down the road towards Hogwarts.
“Ron and Hermione didn’t know beforehand if that’s what you mean. Hey, wait!” Harry ran faster as Ginny started running down the road leading towards the gates of Hogwarts.
“You didn’t even send me one letter until two months ago, well after Mione!” she shot back, running closer to the castle.
“I wrote yours long before I wrote Hermione’s, but I don’t have all the time in the world to send letters!” Harry was starting to loose his breath from following Ginny. They ran into the castle.
“Yet you have time to send Hermione’s long before mine.”
“Do you honestly care that much about when you receive letters?” Harry couldn’t help but ask as they turned towards the stairs.
“I’d at least like to be acknowledged!”
“You were!” They started running up the stairs.
“Ya, after how many months?”
“Honestly, Ginny, you’re acting like a child that didn’t get their way.”
“Now I’m a child? Just because I’m younger it doesn’t mean I’m a child! I hate being looked at as ‘the child’ just because I’m youngest, and you know that!” she yelled as she ran down the second floor. Harry sped up once more and just managed to catch up with her.
“Stop!”
Ginny skidded to a stop, and Harry did as well, right next to her. In front of them stood a spiky-haired professor with a scar running from his eye to his mouth.
“No running in the halls,” the teacher said coldly. Harry thought he sounded a hell of a lot like Snape did. “You,” he looked at Ginny, “Should know better. You,” he looked at Harry. “Are...?”
“Harry,” he responded simply.
The professor’s scarred lip curled into a sneer.
“Harry Potter? The Chosen One? The Boy Who Lived? Such an honour,” the professor said sarcastically.
“I’m assuming you’re Professor Kruliki,” Harry responded, a cruel smile forming on his face.
“What makes you say that?” the professor asked with mock kindness.
“I’ve heard stories.”
“Whom from?”
“No one you’d care about.”
“Why you...”
“Professor, he doesn’t go to the school, you can’t tell him off like you would to a student,” Ginny cut in. Professor Kruliki looked at Ginny, and then at Harry, sneering once more.
“Your girlfriend is sticking up for you? How... touching.”
“If you want to anger me you might want to start with an original line,” Harry shot back. “Snape used to use that before he fled the grounds.”
Professor Kruliki’s expression turned to sheer anger.
“How dare you compare me to a Death Eater!”
“Then don’t bother me,” Harry snapped, glaring. “I’m not a student here anymore, you have no right to bug me.”
“Just because you have that scar on your head it doesn’t give you the right to back-sass everyone. From what I’ve heard, there’s never been a wizard so mediocre with such a great ego,” the professor said, smiling coldly.
A glimmer of slightly insane anger shone in Harry’s eyes for a moment. It was gone in the blink of an eye.
“You got your ‘no running’ point across, so go,” he said in a low, threatening way.
The professor eyed him for a moment, but left without a word. As soon as he did, Ginny stormed off again.
“Gin!” Harry started following her again.
“You know what? Just forget it, you’ve seemed to do that a lot when it comes to me lately,” she yelled back as she ran up another flight of stairs. Harry ran up them two at a time (skipping one stair every time you walk/run up), and when he got to the third floor managed to grab Ginny’s arm. She spun around with an angry expression.
“Let go,” she snarled, trying to pull away from Harry’s grip. It was useless, he was stronger because of his ‘task’, his grip wasn’t removed.
“Whatever I did, I’m sorry,” he told her softly.
“Whatever you did? Whatever you did?” Ginny practically screamed. Out of blind anger, she started hitting him and yet trying to get her arm away. “You... think I’m weak... break up with me... because of it! You... don’t say... a word... to me... for four months!” she yelled as she continually hit many times over.
“Gin, stop...” Harry pulled her into a tight hug, trying to calm her down.
“You don’t... act like you... even care,” Ginny yelled, still blindly trying to attack Harry. “Like... I’m not there... just cause I’m... younger it... doesn’t mean... I’m not there!” She tried pushing away from Harry, thrashing everywhere but it was no use. “Why...?” She gave up, then falling into him and crying. Harry held for nearly ten minutes, stroking her hair comfortingly.
Ginny seemed as if she was trying to say something, but it sounded like a stream of babbling words coming through choked sobs. Once she stopped shaking, Harry loosened his grip on her.
“Are you going to be ok?” he asked.
Fresh tears fell from Ginny’s eyes again. Harry cupped her face in his hands and kissed her.

Outta like, all the ships, I have to say H/G is the 2nd of my favs (if I didn't know about Dramione, H/G would be my first pick, but nope, I saw that one vid on YouTube and it changed my thoughts completely I can almost never write a story without Dramione cause of that video).
That's why I couldn't resist the ending to the chapter

BTW, the poem in this chapter, best I've ever done cause I can't rhyme worth my life. And to think it only took the shortest amount of time to write that one part This chapter was the chapter that got me stuck, right at the end with Draco.
Still a fairly short chapter for me... (which means it's still a lot but not tons )

Chapter 25
Love in the Library

The next day, Hermione finally managed to get away from Ron. She was starting to get irritated by him, if she doesn’t get back at the exact time she tells him, he demands what she was up to, he’s always calling her by some embarassing name such as ‘sugar lips’, it was all annoying her. She told him she was going to the library and planned on doing homework all day and had better not be disrupted by him or else.
As she read through her Potions book once more, Hermione’s mind strayed. She had begun to wonder how to let Ron down and what to say. As she was working on what to say, a sharp pain was inflicted on the back of her head, something heavy and hard had hit her.
“’Ey!” she mumbled as she rubbed it.
“Hermione...”
She looked around, trying to locate the person calling her name.
“Hermione...”
She couldn’t see the person still.
“Mione!”
Looking as the shelves directly behind her, she saw a pair of grey eyes looking between two books on the shelf.
“Go away!” she snapped. She turned around to get back to her work, but another book hit her in the back of the head. Rubbing the spot he had hit, she ignored Draco.
A few minutes later, a soft prick hit the back of her head. Reaching behind to figure out what it was, her fingers ran over a piece of folded parchment. Pulling it out of her hair, she saw it was folded like an origami bird, similar to what Harry had received from Draco in their 3rd year.
Carefully unfolding it, she saw a handwritten note inside.

Every day
Every hour
I see you with him
Inside I die a little more.

Hidden from the world
You brought me to the light.
I never knew inner beauty
Could shine so bright.

Many things I never thought true.

It took Hermione a few moments to realize what she had just read. She read over the poem once more and it all came to her. She had led Ron on, never truly having any feelings for him other than just a friend, her heart really belonging with Draco, and it made her feel horrible. Turning around, she only saw bookshelf full of important books. Getting up from the table she was at, she walked around the corner of the bookshelf and didn’t see anyone. She walked down the rows of bookshelves and saw no one, the only people being those doing their homework at tables. She had a feeling he was still in the library, she had that sense of being watched.
Turning around, she saw a tall pile of books. Curious, she went up to them and peeked around.
Nothing.

Fortified behind piles of books, Draco watched Hermione’s attempts to find him. He knew he wouldn’t have enough time to get out of the library, but he didn’t have enough time to hide either. He couldn’t face Hermione, not now.
Draco saw her turn and look at the fort of books protecting him. Pulling his face away from the books, he stood still, sighing inwardly. The book pile in front of him was pulled out and away a few feet, and he looked into a sea of chocolate brown eyes.
“I love you too.”
Draco was about to respond, but what he heard wasn’t what he expected at all. He reached out and pulled Hermione closer, and then he kissed her.

Awww! Yea!! I lvoed it!!! That was great! I could go on forever! That was like, the best post yet! BTW, who is Prof. Kruliki? Obviously, he's a professor, but I remember you saying something about him being in anotuher FF. I figured I'd ask, as he had some importance in the post before this, and how is he connected to Snape?
