But ya, probably will post tomorrow... before I go to my friend's b-day party. Gotta go shoping for her b-day gift TONIGHT! Completely forgot to do that and I forgot what she told me she was after... so I"m just going to the cruddy excuse for a mall in town and getting stuffs for her party and birthday TOMORROW!
Hahahaha... I'm such a procrastinator, it's not even funny at times...
I even do my homework in bed when I'm supposed to be asleep! That's how bad I've become

Chapter 21
Draco’s Mistake (Part 1)

The next day, all Hermione heard was Pansy’s choked sobs. She got in quite a lot of trouble for fighting with Blaise Zabini, sending him to the hospital wing overnight because he managed to get tentacles sprouting from his face and boils growing drastically and popping. Well after classes ended, he seemed well and kept a fair distance from Pansy during dinner.
While eating, she couldn’t help but miss the feeling of Draco’s gaze on her. She truly wanted to visit him just before curfew, since no one would be around then, but her homework load made her stay in the common room. The next day in classes, Hermione’s mind strayed constantly, she couldn’t answer questions in class and it surprised everyone, even Professor Kruliki, who would ignore Hermione’s flailing hand when she knew the answer to a question of his like Snape had before. He even put her on the spot a few times to make a point about ‘not all academic wannabes can answer everything’.
“What’s up, Mione?”
Hermione hung her head and kept walking.
“Hermione...”
She ignored Ron and ran up the stairs to the tower as fast as she could, books at hand.
“Wait!”
“Butterbeer,” she said to the Fat Lady. The door opened, and Hermione rushed inside.
“What’s going on?” Ginny asked, seeing Hermione practically run into the common room.
“Not now...”
Hermione ran up the stairs to the girls’ dormitory and made it to her room before she heard the portrait hole open up. Slamming the room’s door closed, she dropped her things onto her bed, which was next to the door. She didn’t want to go downstairs just yet, so she found her book, Eragon, sat on her bed and started reading. She read for hours, the light from the windows faded completely.
“What’s gotten your robes up in a knot?”
Looking up from her book, Hermione saw Ginny leaning against the door frame of her room.
“What do you mean?”
“Running away from Ron is a start...”
“Is he still down there?” Hermione cut her off.
“Why does it matter?” Ginny responded, a hint of impatience entering her voice. “Is there something wrong? Anything... I mean, you and Malfoy? That’s something wrong right there.”
“How so?” Hermione demanded, closing her book and standing up.
“Well... it’s Malfoy we’re talking about!”
“People can change.”
“People can, Malfoy can’t.”
Hermione glared and stormed out of her own room.
“Mione!” Ginny hollered, surprised.
Hermione kept walking away. She ran down the stairs leading to the common room and ran past Ron, who didn’t seem to notice from where he was sitting. She ran down the stairs and onto the main floor. She ran through the corridors without thought of where she was headed, all she cared about was being away from Gryffindor Tower. She pushed open a door and looked into the Hospital Wing. Looking inside, the only inhabitants were those in the beds and Madam Pomfrey forcing something down one of the patients’ throats. When she finished, she looked at the door.
“Do you realize what time it is?” she snapped.
“Yes, it isn’t curfew yet, but it’s ‘late’,” Hermione responded, stepping into the hospital wing and closing the door behind her carefully.
“Nearly everyone is asleep, Ms. Granger.”
“Nearly everyone? Who’s up?”
“Well Mr. Malfoy can’t seem to fall asleep but...”
Hermione didn’t hear the rest of what Madam Pomfrey told her, she just started going down the rows and looking into each secluded bed.
“Hopeless...” the matron mumbled, continuing on with her work.
Looking into one bed, she saw Draco trying to move his arms.
“Hello.”
He looked up at Hermione, smiling weakly. Hermione couldn’t help but feel ever so slightly surprised at his... slight warmness.
“Don’t you consider getting in trouble a tragedy?”
Hermione scoffed.
“If you want me to go and be ‘on time’, I will...”
“No! Stay... please.”
Hermione had never heard any Malfoy, especially Draco, say ‘please’, let alone be polite. She pulled up a chair and sat next to his bed.
“What happened?” she whispered. Draco seemed to be in thought, but then shrugged.
“No one knows apparently,” he responded quietly.
“Not even you?”
“No.”
“Any idea at all?”
“Dark magic...”
Hermione’s eyes widened slightly.
“You Slytherin boys...” she muttered, shaking her head.
“Just because it’s dark magic it’s automatically someone from Slytherin?” Draco snapped defensively.
“Well it’s not like a Hufflepuff would do something as drastic...”
“A Ravenclaw could for all you know, they’re supposedly intellectual.”
Hermione smiled.
“So considering you were trying to move your arms...”
“Something happened... something in the spell put in a comatose state for awhile, and afterwards I couldn’t move.”
“Increased density...” Hermione thought out loud.
“Wha?”
“Possibly somewhere in that spell there was bone density increase, I dunno, that’s what it sounds like... couldn’t move anything... were you given a clear potion that seemed to have a green tinge...”
“I never saw what I got.”
“Did it taste kind of sour with a peppermint aftertaste?”
“Yeah, exactly that actually...”
“Yeah, that potion kills off any spell-cast bone density,” Hermione responded.
“Huh...”
“Yeah, well... either way you’re still in here for who knows how long.”
“A few days, maybe a week, better not be longer.”
“Why do you say that?”
“I have to pretend to be asleep every time the door opens.”
“Why?”
“The cow won’t leave me alone.”
Hermione chuckled.
“Yet you seemed well awake by the time I got here.”
“I heard the matron say your name...” Draco responded, shrugging.
“Oh.”
A silence filled the air for a few minutes.
“So, you’re here visiting me, yet you’re the one that said for me to leave you alone...” Draco realized, chuckling to himself.
“Well things don’t always turn out the way you expect,” Hermione responded somewhat mysteriously. Draco looked into her eyes, and Hermione’s stomach flipped.
“What do you mean by that?” he asked flatly.
Well, that’s one way to ruin the moment.
“You aren’t who I thought you were,” Hermione responded, shrugging. She tore her gaze away from him and looked at her fiddling hands, she couldn’t stand to look into his beautiful grey eyes any longer.
“Same,” she heard Draco whisper, almost inaudibly.
“How so?”
“Well the matron is more cruel than you were to me,” Draco responded.
“Forcing a potion down your throat isn’t exactly evil,” Hermione pointed out, laughing quietly.
“Forget it,” he said flatly, looking away. When Hermione looked at Draco’s currently angled face, she swore she saw a small glimmering droplet fall down his cheek.
“Are you crying?” she whispered, worried yet slightly surprised.

Draco would’ve brushed away the tear that escaped his silver eyes, but it would’ve been too obvious.
“No!” Draco responded indignantly. Another glimmering droplet on his face once more, and then disappeared.
“What’s wrong?” Hermione asked softly, her equally-soft hand touching his. He couldn’t resist her tone of voice, it was almost... soothing.
“Nothing,” Draco snapped, pulling his hand away, despite how much he regretted doing so. He heard the chair squeak on the floor.
“One of these days you’re going to have to face the fact that you indeed have emotions and to save everyone’s time, including yours, you should just show them!” Hermione stormed away, and when the hospital wing door slammed shut, Draco’s fight for holding in his tears had ceased, it was futile. He let them slide down harder, knowing he indeed had just made a big mistake.

Poor Draco... Luved it by the way! PAMS!

*watches hermione leave* yes! now he's all mine! *goes to draco's bed and holds his hand* PAMS!

well chapter 22 (next chapter) does indeed say whether or not Ron and Hermione hook up... (aka, answers poll question).

I've gone to another F.F, so it's kinda like I'm on a 'Fallen hiatus' again... (working on my other F.F 'No Matter What'. It's about how Draco is a Death Eater but he chickened out on killing D.D. He's made an official Death Eater, and after some time he hates it. At the same time, Demetria Yaxley, my character I made up, is also made a Death Eater but she ends up hating it as well. She talks to Draco and the two of them run away, escaping the life of the Dark Lord's followers. It's basically about how they run away and during this time Draco likes Demetria and he tells her and kinda 'shows it to her' by kissing her a few times, but she acts like nothing is different... it's hard to explain really, but it'd not a Dramione or anything, it's just about how the two of them run away and that's all I can say right now about it without giving away to much...)
So ya, again on some sorta hiatus from Fallen But if you want you can read 'No Matter What' Found in the Romance Section of course!

Personally, I’m not a big fan of this chapter... The title, ya it’s a line from the show Kim Possible, I just thought it would kinda... work... Of course, when you read the title...

Ron+Hermione=Forever, I thought of you and what ya say about Ron when I wrote this chapter! So in a sense, it's dedicated to ya.
Of course I'll stop making it obvious and post.
Kinda short chapter (it's short on my terms).

Chapter 22
Mr. Smooth Makes his Move

Hermione ran back to the Tower, angry. She ignored some of the paintings’ complaints about the noise, and stopped in front of the Fat Lady.

“Butterbeer,” she said. The Fat Lady swung the door open, and Hermione entered.

“Where’ve you been?”

Jumping, Hermione saw a very angry Ron leaning against the couch, arms crossed across his chest.

“No where you’d care about,” she responded, walking through the common room towards the stairs of the common room.

“I do care actually, so tell me, where were you for the last while?”

“None of your business,” Hermione rephrased, spinning around on the spot, just at the bottom stair of the girls’ dormitory stairs.

“What’s your problem lately?” Ron demanded, arms now uncrossed. “You’ve been pushing me away, not telling Ginny anything for that matter...”

“You’ve been trying to get information out of Gin now?” Hermione asked in disbelief.

“Well if you actually told me what’s been going on, I probably wouldn’t have!”

“How dare you do such a thing! Honestly, if I don’t want to tell you something, you can’t force others to tell you!”

“You haven’t told me anything!” Ron countered.

“I can make my own decisions, Ronald, and one of them was to avoid telling you certain things.”

“Certain things? I haven’t heard a word from you in a long while now that wasn’t from an argument!”

“And it’s not my fault either, Ronald, you start them,” Hermione snapped, glaring.

“If you have the sense to realize your friends actually are there to help, then maybe we wouldn’t be in this problem right now!”

“Like I said, Ronald, I can make my own decisions. I don’t need you to tell me what to do.”

“Have you considered that maybe I’ve wanted to talk to you?”

Hermione’s open mouth, ready to shoot back a response, closed.
“Uh...”

Ron’s angry expression seemed to get more furious.

“What do you want to tell me then?” she asked, sighing. Ron’s expression seemed to soften, but he still looked a bit angry at her.

“Never you mind.”

“Ronald!”

“Would ya quit sounding like my mum?”

Hermione’s expression flared again.

“Until I feel you’re acting appropriately enough to be called by what you want, I’ll keep calling you Ronald. Now honestly, what’s this all about?”

Without thinking, Ron walked up to Hermione, leaned down and kissed her.

*gasp* Will Hermione actually go with him? Will their friendship be ruined... forever? Will it be neither? Will it be both? Will it be just one of those?
Why am I asking so many questions?!

Find out in the next chapter and chapter after that! (more explained in two chapters/chapter 24, but you'll probably get it/understand/know in the next chapter/chapter 23)

Ya, I'll post in a few days probably... really busy this wek, today was horrible cause I woke up at 6, had a shower, went for jazz band, had a two hour long meet for the christmas play I'm in and ALL I did was sit and watch, and then I had to run home for my alto sax pratice... it was horrible!
And I had a flipping beep test in P.E, that went ok... 2nd time and got... one... lap-like-level-thingy better than last time... (ok, that's not so great but stopping, turning around and having to run again makes it a heck of a lot harder!)

Joo will find out soon enough I finished that part recently... about the choice that is
