K, still stuck at the beginning of the F.F so it's not really online but ya.
It's kinda long to explain cause there's a backstory.
For you... eager beavers (twinneh), I can post a small exert if I can find one that'd work posting-wise.
But I don't have to

Long ago (when Hogwarts was being built) there were wars between pureblood families and the ‘blood traitors’. During this war, there was a curse put over one of the families.
This curse would cause them to loose their wealth and power, and they would be forced into a short life because they would be forced to serve the darkest wizard in the wizarding world. The only way they could break this curse is if this family marries a muggle-born witch.
This family is the Malfoys.

So centuries later, Draco Malfoy’s family lost their money, his father is a raging lunatic under the Imperius Curse to serve the Dark Lord, and his mother is in St. Mungo’s because of Lucius’ rash actions because of the Curse.
Just before Draco leaves for his final year of Hogwarts (which he was forced to), Narcissa finally tells him of the Malfoy Curse, and the only means to break it. Of course, he is insulted that she was pressing the fact he would have to marry a ‘mudblood’, but he realized he would be living on the streets or under the cloaks of the Dark Lord (which he swore he would never do after watching his father) if he didn’t do anything to break the curse a ‘blood traitor’ family put upon him centuries before. So, he starts to figure it’s actually possible when he goes back to Hogwarts. But when his quest to gain this certain mudblood’s trust and love, someone stands in the way; Ronald Weasley.

One question, what is this hatred between the Malfoys and Weasleys all about? Why, the Weasleys themselves cursed the Malfoys.

Chapter 33
Ginny’s Plan Avails

Another two weeks passed by fairly peacefully to Hermione. Ron didn’t bother her since the New Year party, so all was calm to her.
It was Saturday, and there was a Hogsmeade trip. Hermione first went off with Ginny, since she begged her, but she promised Draco she’d meet up with him.
Hermione didn’t actually know why Ginny was so desperate to go with her, but she didn’t question it while they walked down the road to Madam Rosmerta’s for a Butterbeer. The entered and sat down at a table. They chatted about the New Years party two weeks prior and just went off from there.
Ginny stopped talking and waved someone over. Hermione was surprised for a moment, turned around and was shocked.
“Oh, come on Harry!” Ginny got up, went up to him and dragged him to the table. She sat him down on a chair in front/across from Hermione and Ginny sat next to him.
“You could’ve...”
“If I told you would’ve said no, so obviously I didn’t say anything,” Ginny responded, knowing what Harry was about to say.
Harry sat with a straight face for a moment. “True enough...”
Hermione glared at him. He avoided any eye contact with her - he looked down at the table or at Ginny.
“Now why’d you bring me, Gin?” Hermione finally asked, her happiness turned quickly to bitterness.
“Because Harry has something to say to you,” Ginny responded with a fake big smile. “Go on.”
Harry finally looked up at Hermione. “Why Malfoy?” he spat. Ginny elbowed him. “’Ey!” he exclaimed.
Hermione bit back her response.
“Honestly,” Ginny snapped. “Can’t you just accept it?”
“I can’t believe you even accepted it,” Harry snapped back. “Come on, Gin. You of all people should be most against this.”
“Well I actually care enough about my friends that as long as they’re happy with their choices, I accept them. Sure I’m not happy about it, but I at least accept it because it’s not going to change anytime soon.”
“It will when I get a hold of Malfoy...” Harry muttered darkly, his fists starting to clench. Hermione kicked him.
“Quit ganging up on me!”
“Do you think I liked the thought of you and Cho in 5th year? I was honestly hoping what would happen actually happened, and it did. I knew her, and I know her sneak friend. Cho was more into Cedric than she was into you, and you know it. Yet did I say anything to get in the way of your dream of going on a date with her? No. So can you please just accept my choices? I’ve accepted many of yours, so why can’t you just accept this one thing?”
“Because it’s Malfoy we’re talking about!”
“So what?” Hermione finally snapped.
“He nearly killed Dumbledore!”
“He didn’t actually kill though, did he? No, he didn’t! You said how he didn’t want to do it, that he was shaking like mad and said he didn’t have any choice.”
“Dumbledore gave him one, and he repaid him by having Snape...”
“Give him a chance, Harry! That was in the past - last year, last school year as well. So just get over it and accept it because it’s not changing.”
Harry was now seething. He looked at Ginny and then Hermione.
“It’s two against one, Harry. You know how Ron can get when things... work out... not as he intended... but you said yourself you can’t stand being alone with him for too long.”
“When?”
Ginny gave him a hard stare.
“Fine,” he muttered. He turned to Hermione, a slight glare on his face. “Just because I accept this it doesn’t mean I’m not happy about it.”
Relief flooded Hermione. She didn’t care if he was happy about it, Ginny wasn’t either, yet she accepted it.
“Just as long as you can accept it that’s great!”
Harry’s expression was still not as bright as it used to be, but he didn’t look as angry. Hermione looked out the window and saw a lonely light blonde head walk past.
Standing up and pushing her chair in, Hermione said, “I have to go, but I’ll see you later Ginny, and Harry...”
She walked up to him, pulled him out of his seat and gave him a tight hug. Pulling away after a few moments, she asked, “Will you be back anytime soon or...?”
“I’ll be wandering around Hogsmeade whenever I can, but no promises,” he responded simply. His eyes flickered to the window and a veiled anger flickered in his eyes. “You probably should go.”
“Harry?”
“Yeah?”
“Thanks.”
With that, Hermione left The Three Broomsticks happily. She knew things with Harry would never be the same again, he would never think the same about her as a friend, but they were at least starting to talk again. She now had at least one other friend she could rely on just a bit more. If only she could get others to be the same, for them to at least notice that she’s still the same person, just with someone they wouldn’t ever imagine her being with.

Oh they turned their heads embarrassed

Depending on how far I can bend to think ideas before the final task (if you forgot all about the Triwizard Tournament, I don't blame ya ), there'll be a few more chapters til the end.
Then it'll be a cliffie A bigger, better cliffie that will make me write a sequel (but it'll be some time before one cause I'm gonna try and get most of my other F.Fs out of the way before having any new ones unless it's a one-shot like Goodbye My Lover or My Last Breath or sumthin...)

There's supposed to be a chapter BEFORE Valentines Day. I was working on that (chapter before V-Day that isn't up) and I got onto the V-Day one. I was supposed to post the one before V-Day post when I finished the V-Day post but I totally blanked cause it turned into Valentines Day and ya...

DANG IT! I'm gonna move it around soon... same thing and stuff but still, I JUST noticed! (I'll move it when I"m the only one left on this thread I s'pose The post that's supposed to be before the V-Day one will be where it is now, so I'll edit it out and put the actual post there, and I'll put the V-Day one up when I'm done)

Anyways...

Ok, nothing specific about this chapter other than the ending. It's yours to imagine after that (I MEAN THE ENDING OF THE CHAPTER! THE F.F IS NOT DONE YET! Draco still has the Final Task of the Triwizard Tournament to go through)

And it's kinda short. I woulda gone on about what happened where it ended but I thought you guys can go ahead and imagine what happened afterwards.

I'd love to be Hermione in this chapter...

Chapter 34
Valentines with Draco

A month passed and it seemed to quickly dissolve from January to February. The time passed and it became Valentines Day. It snowed the night before, freezing over the lake, and it still snowed lightly the next day. Hermione had never been a fan of Valentines Day in Hogsmeade the previous 6 years, but now she had a reason to like the holiday; Draco.
That still didn’t excuse her to why she didn’t like Hogsmeade on Valentines Day. She thought they completely overdid it each year, wasting money on so much just for one day of the year. She only went because the day before, Draco pulled her into going by saying it would be just a quick visit.

“It’s so odd... it feels like yesterday we were being Sorted into our houses and now it’s 7th year and Valentines Day at that...” Hermione commented as she and Draco walked down the main road hand-in-hand.
“You actually remember that far back?” Draco asked in amazement.
“You don’t?” Hermione responded in the exact same amazement.
“I don’t really want to that much so it’s just wiped from my memory...”
“What about 2nd year?”
“Not that much excitement happened that year...”
“Oh ya, the Chamber of Secrets being opened and petrifying half the muggle-born population in the school is nowhere near exciting,” Hermione responded sarcastically. “Not I’d remember half of the year because I was one of them, but it still sounded interesting from what heard.”
Draco shrugged.
“You obviously can’t forget third year.”
“That’s one year I won’t forget. I still have that scar...”
“It was a scratch,” Hermione responded indignantly as they passed Madam Puddifoot’s.
Draco huffed with similar indignancy (o.o.s: it’s not a word I know but nothing else I tried was).
The two walked into Honeydukes and got some chocolates quickly (one things they have in common was the dislike of Valentines Day in Hogsmeade. Even though Draco pushed Hermione into going, he didn’t want to go as much as Hermione did, but together it didn’t matter as much). They left the store after getting some chocolates and candy and decided to head back to Hogwarts.
“I’ll be right back,” Draco said as he ran into the castle. Hermione didn’t know if she was supposed to wait in the snow or go inside, so she stayed where she was.
Draco came out after a few minutes. “Follow me,” he said softly. Hermione did as she was told and trailed him to the lake. They stopped in front of the start of the small forest.
“Close your eyes,” Draco told her.
“But...”
“Just trust me.”
A few months back, Hermione would’ve laughed at him saying that. But she now did as she was told, peeking ever so slightly.
“No peeking,” Draco said, sounding amused.
Hermione covered her eyes and waited. She then felt the light pressure and warmth of Draco’s hands on her shoulders. He guided her through a maze the forest was made up of for what felt like some distance before they stopped.
“Open your eyes,” Draco said, hands still on Hermione’s shoulders.
Hermione pulled her hands from her eyes and opened them. She gasped and took in the sight in front of her. The trees that formed a circle around them had a thin layer of snow on the branches. Hanging from the branches of every tree were pink and red roses. In between the spaces of some of the trees, the frozen lake sat not to far away. Throughout the open space there were floating redish-pink lights that were shaped like hearts. In the middle of the circle was what looked like a freshly made picnic.
“Draco...” Hermione breathed, lost for words as she moved farther into the perfectly set up section of the white forest. The snow still fell slowly, glimmering a variety of shades of reds and pinks from the faint light of the heart lights.
“Happy Valentines Day, love.”

i read the other post twinneh and it was pretty schnazzy!!(thats my new word lol) cant wait 4 more!!!

and that was a hard chapter to do! (i'm not a 'helpless romantic' or anything so it usually takes a little while to think of an idea like that).
Yet it was like, the shortest... but the hardest. Shortest but the hardest -makes into some weird beat and makes a song-

Ok guys, I'm working on the last chapter (2 chapters away I know, it literally snuck up on me too).
You'll hate me for how I end the F.F... but I'm only ending it to start the beginning of the sequel! You'll find out when I post the final chapter.
Basically, the next chapter is the 2nd-to-last chapter, the chapter after that is the last (Chapter 36).
I skipped through weeks to get to the end because I'm all out of ideas, and I didn't want to go all '6 months later' like I planed like, 6 chapters ago... so I did... what I did in chapter 35 so I wouldn't skip 4 months.
Instead I skipped through 2 months/8 weeks cause of using chapter 35
This f.f will be done probably... either halfway through the week or basically sometime by the end of this week.
I have my plans for the sequel, but it might not be like that. My original sequel plan just kinda slid away from me...
Oh wait, it was just more boring...
Anyways, if my sequel goes as planned it'll be called 'Far Away', based on my FAVOURITE ALL TIME song by Nickelback (yay! Finally spell the band name righ! it's always been 'nickleback' to me )

Anyways ya, 2 chapters left... have sequel planned but it won't be coming out for some time probably (so many remaining F.Fs and another promised sequel to Cause YOu're Watching Over Me from the series belong to Secret Love and Choices... finally more Draco and Hermione involved in the sequel to CYWOM). It'll only be awhile cause of my other F.Fs and stuff... (and if my Cursed Malfoy f.f works out that's another to add to my list of updates and stuff! Note to self never have more than 2 F.Fs up actively at once...)
If you wanna be on a PM list for when Far Away comes out (title might change but probably not, this way I can get rid of the stinky one-shot I started but never finished), POST IF YOU WANNA BE ON TEH LISTEH HERE! Cause hopefully it'll be out soon after this F.F get posted done and stuff...
