Ok, I'm going to camp later today (it's 2:45am here and I leave for camp some time around... 5pm or something), and I won't be back until late Friday, and depending on how I feel I might post then. If not, SATURDAY AT LATEST!
Here's an update. Hope you guys like the D/Hr I implanted...
And Harry's stupidity but you all hate him at the moment, right?

P.S: I have two one-shot ideas, and so far one is working (another I had to ask... someone about for some help ). The one I'm already half-done now will be called Broken and definitely a Dramione (Broken as in the song Broken feat. Amy Lee).

Chapter 8
A Meeting in the Library

At dinner, Hermione tried to stay a fair distance away from Harry, but he ended up sitting in front of her with Jaimie. She swore he knew it was eating her alive, but Hermione wasn’t about to break. Throughout the meal, she kept noticing Draco looking at her intensely. By the fourth time she looked up, Harry decided to turn around and look at whatever was catching her attention. He saw the look in Malfoy’s eyes and where they were at. He spun around and said, “What the hell is up with you two?”

Hermione quickly snapped her attention from Draco to Harry. “What?”

“Have you seen the look on his face? All day?”

Hermione chuckled.

“What’s so funny?” Jaimie asked, jumping into the conversation.

“Nothing.”

“Nothing’s funny about you and Malfoy!” Harry snapped.

Hermione saw Draco smirking at the sight going on before him across the room out of the corner of her eye. She then heard Jaimie sigh, get up, and leave.

“And nothing’s funny about you and ‘Dupuis’,” Hermione snapped back.

“At least it’s true.”

“Just because you’re such a jerk...”

“YOU’RE THE ONE OVERREACTING TO ALL THIS!”

Everyone turned their gaze onto Harry.

“I don’t think it’s me that’s overreacting,” Hermione responded calmly. She finished her remaining dinner and got up.

“Where’re you going? We’re not done with this!” Harry demanded.

“You might not be, but I am!” Hermione called back to him, not even looking back.

“GET BACK HERE!” Harry yelled as Hermione left his sight.

The Great Hall echoed with laughter at his futile attempts. Some people started to get up and leave - Malfoy joined the crowd. Harry saw this and got up as well, following Malfoy at a distance. He pursued Malfoy around corridor corners until he had entered the library. He waited behind shelves and slowly made his way through, winding around the maze of book laden shelves.

“That was brilliant.”

What’s so brilliant? Harry mentally snapped.

He looked through two books and saw Malfoy sitting across from Hermione at a table. He glared when he saw Hermione smile, and then ducked down when she looked over her shoulder in his direction.



Hermione saw messy, spiky black hair disappear below the shelves of books. She looked at the space between the books and the next shelf up and recognized the pants Harry had worn all day. She grabbed a piece of parchment and quickly scrawled, Harry is behind the book shelf watching and listening. Follow my lead - improv. She slid it to Draco, who scanned it and had a knowing look in his eyes.

“Thanks,” she responded. “So how’s Pansy?”

Anger flooded into Draco’s pale grey eyes. “As much of a cow on the inside as she appears on the out. At least she’s gone though.”

“Gone? Are her parents taking her away from here?”

“I wish,” Draco scoffed, leaning back in the chair comfortably. “Nott told me he had his eyes on her. Hopefully those big huge things of hers find him instead of following me.”

Out of the corner of his eye, Draco saw Harry’s eyes on them again.

“Yeah, she better leave us alone or I’ll be sending her to St. Mungo’s next.”

Draco saw the questioning look on what he could see on Harry’s face.

“She doesn’t know what love truly is; she’ll never understand what we have.”

“I never knew you were so deep, Draco,” Hermione said with a flirtatious smile, making sure Harry could see it.

“You’ll be seeing a lot more of it, love,” Draco said with a smile. His smile was warm, yet hidden behind the tenderness was the rich satisfaction of seeing Harry angrier than ever before.

“I can’t wait,” Hermione responded with a smirk. She could almost see the reflection of Harry in Draco’s eyes.

Thinking, Hermione pulled out another piece of parchment. Hating herself for it, she started writing. She slid it to Draco, and he read it. She saw the veiled surprise his expression held.

“Didn’t you say you lost your Potions book?” Hermione asked.

“Oh yeah... well it’s not like I use it much, but it’d be a waste to not look for.”

“Need help?”

“No, it’s probably in my dormitory somewhere. See you soon, love.”

Draco and Hermione leaned over the table and kissed. Hermione was surprised at how great a kisser Draco really was; he was more passionate and gentle than she could’ve ever known (this is Draco Malfoy after all!).

Draco pulled away and got up. Walking away, he passed by the section where Harry hid. He looked down the way - it was empty. He smirked and left Hermione alone in the library.



“That... that bloody...!” Harry muttered a continuous flow of swears as he angrily pushed the books down that barricaded him from sight. “I’ll get him, I swear...”

I'm going to my NEXT AND LAST CAMP ON SUNDAY! So I'll be gone even LONGER cause it's an extra day and a bit along with another 6 hour drive back (it's... 6 hours away ).

Chapter 9
Harry’s Anger

The next day, Hermione pushed open the door to the Potions class just as the minute hand on her watch moved from the time of 11:14 to 11:15. She sat down in at an empty desk, waiting for Professor Slughorn to scorn her for being late, but got nothing. She shrugged and placed her book onto the desk.

“Ms. Granger, you must sit with someone,” Slughorn said.

“I can easily...” Hermione stopped herself when she saw the look on Slughorn’s face.

“It’s either Potter or Malfoy.”

Hermione took her books and moved across the room and next to Draco. She saw Harry glare at her for her choice, but he said nothing.

“Hey gorgeous,” Draco said with a seductive smirk.

Instinctively, Hermione spun around in her chair and slapped him. She bit the inside her lip to not go wide-eyed in shock.

“Oi, what was that for?” Draco snapped with a grimace as a faint, yet conspicuous, handprint to form on his cheek.

All eyes were on the two. Hermione saw Harry’s raised eyebrow out of the corner of her eyes, and thought fast.

“I told you to lay off on saying that!” she responded with a hard tone.

“When?” Draco asked, appalled.

“Merlin, there you go – you don’t listen to me half the time!” she exclaimed.

“Oi, Malfoy, you’re lucky it’s a slap you got. We all know that you know from personal experience how Hermione can be when she’s angry, so quit complaining and fighting about it!” Ron snapped.

“No need for fighting in here, whether verbal or not! Now, today we’re going to...”

“Sorry I’m late, professor,” a girl panted as she slammed the dungeon door shut. Hermione scoffed when she recognized the faint French accent of Jaimie.

Slughorn sighed and said, “Five points from Gryffindor for tardiness, Ms. Dupuis. Take a seat next to Potter.”

Hermione’s narrowed eyes followed Jaimie suspiciously as she sat down next to Harry. She said something, and Harry chuckled. Harry noticed Hermione’s stare and he matched it, a silent anger competition started to grow between the two.

“Now, today we’re going to learn how to brew Felix Felicis. You may recall I showed a bottle of it and gave it to Mr. Potter last year...”



At the end of the class, Hermione was quick to leave. She left Draco behind and tried to get a quick getaway from seeing Harry or Jaimie - she couldn’t hate them more than she did now. The entire time, the two were flirting - they made their good luck as rotten as it could get because they were so off-task.

“Oi, Hermione!”

Hermione picked up her pace when she heard Harry’s voice.

“Mione!”

Hermione started running. She heard Harry pick up his pace a distance behind her. She ran around the corridor corners, trying her best to get to the common room before Harry could get her. She heard a spell behind her, and she stopped dead - Hermione was frozen to the spot.

“You can’t run from me, darling,” Harry said coolly behind Hermione. “Now what the hell are you thinking? Malfoy?”

Hermione didn’t respond.

“I asked you a question. Answer.”

A series of noises came from Hermione; her mouth was frozen along with the rest of her body. Harry rolled his eyes and unfroze her entirely. As soon as she was free, she whipped out her wand and wordlessly cast the Impedimenta charm. Harry’s legs wobbled like jelly beneath him, and Hermione walked around him simply, and then picked up into a run once more. She ran up the flights of stairs and finally found her way to the Fat Lady.

“Fi... fire whi... whisky,” Hermione panted.

The Fat Lady had a questioning look on her face, but she opened the door anyways. Hermione charged in and up the stairs to her dormitory. Halfway up, she heard the portrait hole open up again.

“HERMIONE!” Harry yelled. Ginny, who sat on the couch in front of the fire, spun around and looked over the couch.

“Some of us are trying to work here!” she snapped in annoyance.

“Can you...?”

“I’m not an owl!” Ginny cut in.

“But...”

“No!” Ginny got up and gathered her things.

“You’re already...”

“Who said I was going to see Hermione on my way up, hm?” Ginny cut in once more. She glared at Harry and started to head to the staircase.

“What’s up with Malfoy and Mione?”

Ginny stopped dead. She tried her best not to laugh; she succeeded. Turning around, she looked at Harry and said, “What about them?”

“They were snogging!” Harry exclaimed.

“Don’t get your wand in a knot,” Ginny responded simply.

“It’s MALFOY!” Harry yelled.

“SHUT UP DOWN THERE!” someone from the boys’ dormitories yelled.

“Yeah, so?” Ginny asked with a shrug. Inwardly, she was enjoying every second of Harry’s torture. “I thought you had precious Jaimie, Harry. What happened to her? She dump you once she realized what a controlling idiot you are?”

“I’m not controlling! Take that back now!”

Ginny started to laugh. “Wow, I honestly expected more from you, Harry Potter.”

With that said, Ginny left Harry alone in the common room, stunned.

Ok, I'm updating now, and if I have time, I will tomorrow, but don't be surprised if you don't. I'm leaving for another camp tomorrow in the early afternoon (PST) and it's a 6 hour drive there and back and I won't be back til Saturday...
So if there is no update tomorrow there will not be another update until next Sunday, Monday at latest.

Oh, and yeah, if any of you remember, I did write a one shot based on the song Goodbye My Lover like, months ago.
I'm doing another. Only this time... I'm trying R/Hr. I had another song idea for a one shot (Hero by Enrique Ignasias, or some last name like that), but I'm stuck on which two ships to do, so I was listening to this and thought 'what the heck, another one shot with this song'.
So yeah, now I'm working on two one-shots (ha, that sounds funny) - (another) Goodbye My Lover, but that'll be my first ever R/Hr F.F, and of course Broken (Dramione).
Oh, and I got a totally random idea for another F.F (finally one that isn't based on a song too!), but I've got so many ideas nowadays things'll take forever to get up

I used [part of] a note from one of my other F.Fs. Most of you read the F.F (and for the most part its sequel but w/e), so you might remember. I didn't want to create another note so I used an old one.

Chapter 10
A Close Call

“Potter in a screaming rage... how could I miss that?”

Hermione whacked Draco’s arm in playful annoyance. “I missed it too, you know.”

“You heard it though,” Draco complained as he turned a corner. As he did, he saw Harry coming down from the opposite direction, so he took Hermione’s hand. Hermione knew what was going on before Draco made his quick move.

“Have you seen the notices about the Hogsmeade trip?” Draco asked Hermione as they neared Harry, who eyed them suspiciously.

“Really? So soon?”

“It’s been a month and a half already, Mione,” Draco responded, emphasizing Hermione’s nickname as they passed by Harry. He smirked when he saw Harry’s furious expression.

“Amazing... the time sure has flown by.”

“Time flies when having fun,” Draco replied, still smirking. He looked over his shoulder and saw Harry halt suddenly.

“Yeah, it seems like only yesterday you sent that note... You have shown me many things I never thought true, One of them is, I love you... it was so sweet, I never thought of you as a romantic before.”

“Gee, thanks,” Draco scoffed as they rounded the corner. As soon as they did, Hermione let go of Draco’s hand. She poked her head around the corner and saw Harry was gone.

“‘One of them is I love you’? What’ve you been reading?” Draco whispered, sounding rather surprised.

“It was the first thing that came to mind that rhymed,” Hermione responded defensively as she started to walk away with Draco. “It only took a moment to put together.”

“Do you honestly think Potter would think I wrote that?”

“Honestly,” Hermione scoffed and rolled her eyes. “You could be a bit more thankful I didn’t say ‘it seems like only yesterday you stalked me’.”

Draco opened his mouth to respond, but he thought better (for once).

“Exactly,” Hermione responded pointedly as she took a sudden corner, leaving a dumbfounded Draco. He ran his fingers through his platinum blonde hair, deep in thought. He pushed away a feeling somewhere deep in his heart and walked in the other direction.

I LOVED IT!
